microwave eggs "recipe".
What you need:
a microwave safe container. bowls work better than mugs
a fork
eggs
cheese if you want
bacon bits or fully cooked sausage if you want
anything else you put in scrambled eggs
Crack eggs into the container you're microwaving them in. Break them up with a fork. Mix in the other ingredients, stir again.
Microwave for 2 mins 30 seconds. Remove and stir / chop up the solid eggs that have formed. Microwave for 3 mins. Enjoy. (You can also technically just put them in for 5 minutes straight, and they'll be cooked the same, but the top will form a sort of rubbery texture.)
If you are microwaving them in a mug, keep an eye on them while they're in for the later stages of cooking. They won't explode, but they will puff up at lot while being heated so they might come out of the top. If you see them starting to rise above the edge of the mug, just open the door or press stop, they should shrink back down immediately.
This does not seem to be a problem with bowls.
If you shop at Walmart, in the aisle with the salad croutons and stuff there's little bags of fully cooked bacon bits you can get for cheapish that can be mixed in. There should also be some much bigger bags, but in 2024 they're now too expensive to be worth it. (They used to be $6, then they went to $8, now they're at $14. absurd)
Your eggs will be super hot when they come out. Let them sit for a few minutes and stir a few times to help cool them down.

a good meal i make a lot is avocado rice, just pop some minute rice in the microwave (or make fresh rice whatever floats your boat) and add like half an avocado and mix it up, you can add whatever spices you want! its pretty good and full of nutrients!
this is awesome! i would suggest as add-ins - furikake - a fried egg (or hardboiled egg - you can have these saved in your fridge!) - kimchi - nori sheets - butter or sesame oil for nourishing fats/taste - rice vinegar, a sprinkle of sugar and/or soy sauce - or the other half of the avocado too! :)

Have you ever throw together a meal of whatever food you could find (whatever the reason might be) and then took a step back, looked at what you made, and thought to yourself, “this isn’t a meal, this is a cry for help,” but actually were glad that no one would witness your true shame of enjoying whatever monstrosity you’d created

i have recently learned apparently pomegranates are a mysterious fruit to more people than i thought (particularly to Rick Riordan himself, if the books are anything to go by) so little list of pomegranate things:
They’re in-season during the winter in the Northern Hemisphere. This is why they’re associated with Persephone's journey to the Underworld (because winter).
The outside peel feels basically like a smooth version of a citrus peel, and it’s a bit thinner.
There is SO MUCH PITH it is such a pain to peel and you should not eat the pith.
The entire seed is edible. They’re like corn kernels but a tiny bit crunchier and a fruit instead of a grain. Apparently some people do not eat the entire seed and spit out half of it and I do not understand why someone would put in that much extra effort for something literally the size of a corn kernel.
The juice is this very rich magenta. It looks a little like blood but it’s definitely more pink/purple than blood red.
A single pomegranate has several hundred seeds. Even a single section of pomegranate easily has like 50 seeds.
I cannot compare the smell other than “it smells like pomegranate” but things that claim to be pomegranate flavored/scented are generally accurate.
Individual seeds range in taste but they’re generally. well. fruity, as you’d expect from a fruit, or very mildly sour. Think like, apple levels of range.

People always saying Nimona can't cook like my little gremlin didn't make her boss breakfast tacos and also function on her own for ONE THOUSAND YEARS
Like me? Yeah I went a few years functioning as an independent adult w/o learning to cook but a thousand? She'd know every recipe like. What do we think she did when her favorite dish fell out of the cultural consciousness?
"Oh no nobody sells [insert some medieval weird shit] anymore better learn to cook it"

heyyyy so i just made these cause pancakes sounded good and I ran across the recipe on facebook and i may genuinely never make them another way again, they’re so buttery and crisp and flavorful and there’s hardly any ingredients, if you have a stand or hand mixer the hard part (whipping the egg whites) is easy as pie, highly recommend giving them a try

Omega knows how to cook but it's only out of pure spite when someone threatened that he couldn't because he's a robot.
Yes, he lit the kitchen on fire too many times while learning, sometimes on purpose because he got bored, sometimes on accident. No, his food is not amazing by any means. It tends to be pretty under-seasoned. But yes, Shadow and Rouge do appreciate his scrambled eggs in the morning and his mac and cheese after a mission.
