.....F it, I’mma rant here for a sec.

Anyone else get, like, mildly infuriated when a fic says 'oh, this fic works with any version of the tmnt'? like no? no that isn't possible?? This ain’t avengers where it’s all pretty same-y over multiple versions with a few exceptions. All the version on TMNT are hugely different.

Example! The way all the Donatello’s speak!

87 Donnie says big words to mess with his bros, half the time he make up words just to mess with them. 

03 Don uses big words because he likes to be very precise in what he’s saying. 

07 doesn't use a lot of big words because he got used to dumbing things down from his IT job. 

12 Donnie uses big words as a way to stand out in the family group to show that he is, in fact, the smartest. 

And Rise Donnie uses big words because he likes to sound superior to everyone! 

Just the way Donnie talks is so vastly different between versions, and people out here putting 'yeah, this applies to turtles in general' in the notes. Like, ‘you tagged his tmnt 2012! Write the 2012 boys!’

i haven’t done much changes right now but i think I’ll explain way better in the next comic strips. a change i think is kinda big is that i don’t think ill be having oswald and felix as a pair — IDK. they’ll definitely be super duper close dw, buttt idk isn’t it weird how felix continued to crush over oswald even thought he knew that he was still grieving his dead wife in the og comic?

id like oswald to really be able to develop really well. i feel like rouge rlly butchered oswald’s growth from the loss of his wife like rlly bad. like, he suddenly started acting so cocky and playful with his crew and it was just kinda..strange idk.

i think there is beauty in moving on and i’d really like to show that through oswald’s character
