stupid shit: accidentally moved my coreutils while trying to double unfuck my work laptop, causing my coreutils to break. Fortunately btrfs snapshots are just a folder so I reach into a snapshot and get ash from there, then used busybox mv to put everything back. Computers are bad.

the problem w hades runs is that now that im in elysium my runs take me almost an hour. i had 2h to play today and it was TWO RUNS. and since im playing on pc i cant just for example power down my switch in the middle of a run and pick it up later. i have to power down my computer every night and shut the game down when i need to use it for other stuff. i wish you could save and quit midrun :(

The day on the Tecumseh Trail started with a wintry mix that melted off by the midday, the temperature a handful of degrees upon freezing. I was thankful for this, if the day had been one where your clothes got icy midrun I don’t think I would have made it (or would have needed to call someone for a change in socks/plants, only briefing think I might need to combat frostbite). I was enjoying the snow and the magic of the morning, but snow was dropping on me from leaves and brushing off plant overgrowth onto me.

But once I was able to maintain my body heat better getting out of the valleys, the worry subsided and I was nearing mile 20. I kept my nutrition steady and was going to need to refill my water soon. I stopped at a creek right before Yellowwood Lake, about 31 miles in. My hands got bitterly cold filtering water but I was glad to stop and reassess the remaining part of the trail. I switched my snacks around to refill my front pockets again and was on my way. After reaching the southern part of the lake I would be on new to me trails, sections I hadn’t been on before. This feeling helped me carry on some, and now I had to have less than 15-20 miles after some reroutes added up in the beginning. Crazy when this fact can be of comfort.

This last 16 miles included the most service roads, running on the shoulder of the state road with hill climb, and the least trafficked section of the day. But my spirits were good, I was getting through some miles quicker and had single digits to go! The trail ends 2 miles in the middle of the woods, near forest boundaries; I could get to this point before dark so I’d only have the 2 miles back to the last road crossing/parking with my headlamp. Nearing the last mile, reflective eyes appeared in my light straight on the trail. What animal was this? As I moved closer I made out a silhouette behind it, Ian and Toad! They walked out to meet me and I was surprised to say the least. We finished the last bit walking together. I took in the day, how did 47 miles just go by? Wrapping up my efforts to complete the Indiana Triple Crown of trails in less than 12 months. And a birthday long run to myself. What a treat.

The giant patted Bruce’s back as he passed, “let's go. Emmy should be there by now. I do recommend inside voices, Croo and Lala aren't as shy as the others, but this is a fairly large group.”

The little mer practically flung himself into the water with a trill. He slowly peeked back out from underneath a lilypad before his silver eyes laid on her. He lifted back out of the water with a happy "Eee mii~!"

"Ah inside voices might not do it." Bruce remarked as Everhart loudly and proudly agreed.

I cant believe i beat the final boss for the second time with my least favourite weapon, the adament rail

I had festive fog on the cast, then the grenade launcher i had a Posideon boon, but also other bonuses and a hammer that made it wider area and extra damage (i could lose hp from it too so i had to be carefull. I had weak on the regular attack, and a hammer that removed the need to reload (which is Very Nice), but mostly i launched a special and then cast and ran out of the way

Highly effective, however (and this surprises even me), i find the fast and aggressive playstyle to be overall more fun even if I can get farther by doing ranged attacks.

I am sure it would be too op or gamebreaking or whatever but... sometimes I wish you could change weapon midrun. Then again, it would probably confuse the hell out of me. I already find I can end up a bit confused and disadvantaged when I change my weapon every single run (i often do just to boost the darkness lol...), so mid run would be Wild

Recently finished watching Adventure 99, and currently on 02... ...holy shit, 02's soundtrack... VERY early 2000s music. Though, I'm sure it's only for these seasons here, since I watched a few clips of Tamers on YT, which I can compliment the dub still keeping it serious for it's tone and less of the... puns overall. And also more points for the dub for managing to keep everything secretive (I.E, hiding Impmon's evolution), cause as much as Biggest Dreamer is a bop... I can't help but feel the japanese OP made it lost a bit of the mystery to who their partners evolved into, which in turn kinda makes a little less impactful... as in "Oh, I guess I know what they're gonna turn into. All right!", but Impmon's midrun transformation into Blast Mode doesn't fail to give me chills... which I'm honestly tempted to watch Tamers both sub and dub! And also, Renamon got the best deal out of the main 3 partners with her evolution sequences, cause... woo boi that CG...

I really wanna watch Tamers in sub, I've watched it so many times in dub, and I really wanna listen to Beel's voice in sub since it's.... HOUGH... I love his english voice, but the sub voice is one that is REALLY good considering how deep it is, plus his of course Edgy Them Song (which is ALSO a really good bop). Plus I just wanna see how it is in the sub compared hsfhsdfh

The opening did make the evos a bit easy to tell, that's for sure, but damn,,, the lil frames w/ Impmon n Beel are still So Tastey. and ur totally right DFDHSDFH They really shouldn't have done the cgi and kept w/ just animation but sometimes it rly b like that w/ Digimon and their Digivolution sequences fsdfhsf

he opened his eyes a little, seeing buzzcrave up close. buzzcrave was up in his face, his pincers clicking a little.

“its been about a day since youve been resting...” buzzcrave went on his knees, patting slogturtle on the shell. “how about we both go on a small walk, hm? to the canyons… shall be fun.”

the old turtle could only mumble a little. “hrmm… sure…” he nudged a bit into buzzcraves bug hands, as the fly carried slogturtle to his horse; ponteo.

…on the way there, slogturtle was in his shell right on buzzcraves lap. the fly warriors antennaes twitched as ponteo ran below the canyons bridges as each time, it felt cool compared to the warm sun.

“sloggy?” buzzcrave stopped his horse midrun, making the turtle open his eyes. it was obviously bright compared to the hideout, as he closed them. “oh, come on you…”

“...its sunny.” slogturtle grumbled, snuggling up a little to buzzcraves lap. ponteo whined a little with buzzcrave blushing a little, before getting off his horse.

they were specifically under one of the formed canyons bridges, the shade making it thankfully cooler. buzzcrave could not handle the sun very much considering his bug qualities and how hot it was here.

he’d simply laid against the rough rocks, with ponteo following suit. slogturtle opened his eyes again, seeing buzzcrave holding onto him tightly.

“so we’re sleepin’ now, aye?” the turtle chuckled, shocking buzzcrave a little as his antennae twitched. “oh, sorry.”

“its alright, my dear.” buzzcrave made a little bug chirp, patting slogturtle on his shell again. “...do you, perhaps, have anything we can eat?” it was obvious buzzcrave was hungry.

“you actually didnt bringth anything?” slogturtle raised an eye, making buzzcraves antennae lower in embarrassment.

“i thought we’d wouldnt go to far…” buzzcrave put slogturtle on the ground, looking through a small backpack attached to ponteos saddle. “...oh! it seems like i have!”

buzzcrave took out some bread, not particularly soft as he broke it in half, starting to munch on it with his pinchers. the other piece, he slowly handed over to slogturtle, even if he was in his shell…

“...hrm? dont you want it?” buzzcrave tilted his head, looking a little disappointed. slogturtle tried his best to shake his head within the shell, snatching the piece of bread away with a old, clawed hand.

buzzcrave could hear munches in slogturtles shell, and then soft humming. buzzcrave could only smile back, having another bite on his bread.

“...made that yourselfth?” slogturtle asked, suddenly slogging over onto buzzcraves lap again. “it was rather tasty…”

“the queen helped me! i wasnt expecting her to be the cooking type…” buzzcrave sighed a little, finished with his bread. he wrapped his arms a little around slogturtle, happily chirping. “but i'm pleased you enjoyed it.”

“of course, buzzy…” slogturtle snuggled a little closer to buzzcrave, only for the fly to hear sloggys soft snoring.

but he couldnt be mad.

Anyone in the top 4 of this cycle could’ve won and I wouldn’t have batted an eye over it, all 4 were equally strong in their own category! Adele did have the disadvantage like Tahnee of having quite a weak start compared to Cassi and Clare. Her swimwear was underrated by the judges but not great by any means and while her Trapeze and Beauty shot weren’t bad at all, they were unmemorable compared to the rest of the shots above her. However, something inside of her seemed to snap because from week 4-6, she just started slaying out of nowhere. Her U by Kotex shot was one of the few shots that fit the brief perfectly that week and her desert was simple but chic. Finally, she seemed to peak with one of her best shots, her Chantel shot, which is one of the best shots in AusNTM history! However, after that, she went back to her week 1-3 status from being fine but boring. Her Breast Cancer was unmemorable and her next 2 shots, Ford and Tourist were fine but had a lot of flaws that put them down to the bottom for me. It’s a shame that Adele was so crazy when it came to photos because everywhere else she was a star in! Her runway was one of the best of the cycle alongside Franky and Clare. She had a great confidence in it and she didn’t over-exaggerated yet had her own spin to it. Her commercial potential was also bubbling with excellence! She was naturally a high fashion girl at heart (like Cassi) but she could tap into that world well enough that she was flexible at both of said categories. Her personality was a breath of fresh air and her overall look could work perfectly with any vogue covers or commercial briefs. Adele really embraced her role as a dark horse throughout the competition. I wish Adele kept up her midrun performances because she really ate and left no crumbs behind to all the other weaker girls left in the competition but she left at the right time, with her lower performance during the last 4 weeks compared to the other girls who were rapidly improving or slowly regaining momentum. She still made one of my favorite shots and overall added to my favorite final 4 in any cycle!
