hello hello!!

hi!! this blog has been pretty inactive for a hot minute but i'm hoping to start using it again soon and being more active in the mtrench community!

speaking of mtrench community, we have a discord server!! a few friends and i started it up years ago and are wanting to revive it, so we've done a lot of work on it to tidy it up and get it ready for the public again! we would love it if you could join us! new and old trenchers alike are more than welcome to come and hang out with us, talk about the band, their music, and everything in between!!

Does anyone on here have any use for a bunch of old Marianas Trench merch? I have so many signed pictures, some stickers, patches, posters, a setlist, and some jelly bracelets. Some from ticket packages and some from their old fancorps street team. I also have a signed picture of Carly Rae Jensen from her street team.

I don’t need these and I want to get rid of them but it feels wrong to throw everything away.

If anyone would have any interest in anything please send me a dm or an ask and we can discuss.

My favorite part about paying an extra $100 for Meet & Greet passes to see Marianas Trench live was how, during the Q&A, they answered, "I don't know." To almost every question asked and told the, "This is just a pineapple tree." Tattoo story unprovoked.

This happened both times I saw them live in 2019 😂😂😂😂

They're still my favorite band tho 🤷‍♀️

You know what I really admire about Marianas Trench.

The fact that everyone in the band is so supportive of each other and are genuinely such good friends for the longest of times. It’s so refreshing to remember how long they’ve been together (about 18 yrs if we’re basing off when they released their debut album)

They’ve been under the spotlight and fame and it hasn’t really changed them much and it’s so admirable. Almost every interviewer would ask them “how do you guys stay together for so long” and they would always respond with communicating, not holding grudges, be comfortable with a “lot of dudes” and just overall have fun. And oh boy you can definitely tell that they always have fun

You can definitely tell through just their music that they are having fun and putting their whole passion into it. And when they do want to do their own solo projects they are always so supportive and it’s so nice to see. I remember when Matt released his solo ep and everyone was freaking out that Marianas trench is breaking up and that they may be conflict between them but No it’s all love and supportive and it’s SO GOOD to see that. And it continues as Mike releases his own project and Josh with his. All we need is Ian’s lmaoo

It’s crazy to remember how much time they have spent together without letting fake and money corrupt them and I just think their friendship is beautiful and gives me life ❤️❤️❤️❤️
