!!! I was anxious about the reception to both Kirishimas outburst about Bakugo being reckless and Kaminari confronting them.

I was mostly scared people would say it didnt make sense for Kirishima to be upset like he was or to yell at Bakugo bc like... they know what it takes to be a pro hero. For Kam, I was worried people would think he didnt have a right to be angry with them- but both scenes seemed to be everyones favorite parts! So I was stressing for no reason 😂

For TAH I knew I needed to build to that first kiss really well. I put so much into that. I acted it out, I wrote it out like 3 times, I begged my friend to read it for me, like. I needed this kiss to be BIG because it had been, what like 12 chapters???? I wanted the kiss to be a culmination of all the yearning and pining theyd been holding back but still very clearly consensual.

Idk if it was meant to be encouragement but i distinctly remember getting a message from someone (you know who you are) saying that they had experienced loss s ik milar to Lance's, and that I was portraying it realistically and that it meant a lot to them. I stared at that message for like 10 minutes. It made me realize how important it was to portray this correctly, especially as someone who hasnt experienced it. I had to tell it right. Also, a friend of mine admitted to me while I was writing that she started reading for leisure and ended up binging it which was huge to me because my friends dont usually read my fics unless I ask them to beta (they usually help me plot more than anything) so that was a huge boost.

Of course, Mel is encouragement for like. All my writing. That ones an encyclopedia and shes given me a huuuuuge boost when I most needed it countless times. The amount of encouragement she gave me for LS was a huge driving force. (As well as the fanart by so many incredible people literally they made me cry every damn time)
