The Dam Busters. The Allies decided they needed to destroy some dams. The RAF used Lancaster bombers to "Skipbomb" using these drum shaped bombs and skipping them across the waters surface and into the wall of the Dam. It was a wild plan, but they freaking did it. They destroyed Dams by skipbombing with Lancaster bombers.. Just another tale of people pulling crazy shit off for victory in wartime.

“Strike and Recovery”

I really got inspired by a post from a former commando (2CDO) over on instagram (@/scott_ryder_zero79) that showed the commandos on a recovery exercise in a casino and so I decided to whip up a little something with Damien ;)

This is still one of my favourite art pieces I’ve drawn, even though it’s not even half way done. I believe it’s based off 1RAR.

I remember I did the sketch with my finger in about 10 minutes . I kinda messed up and can’t quite replicate the different colours I used, hence why I haven’t really been able to finish it 🫤 nevertheless, it was really fun to do.

Now that I’ve got more ~experience~, I hope I can do something similar soon
