5 things you never get tired of writing

I was tagged by the delightful @hangon-silvergirl and @bratanimus!

Rules: List five things you never get tired of writing; it can be tropes, themes, characters, phrases, whatever brings you joy. Then tag five people!

1. Hands. I’m a big ol’ hand slut. I’m always wondering what hands are doing. Where are they? What do they look like? How are they moving? How do the characters’ hands betray their emotions?

2. Internality. More than half my characters’ lives are in their heads, and I like digging around in there.

3. Banter/Dialogue. Sometimes, if a scene isn’t working for me, I just write it as pure dialogue and then go back to add everything else later.

4. Backstory. I can flesh out even the most desiccated corpse and I will make myself cry doing it.

5. People who love each other. Familial, platonic, romantic, whatever. I love writing love, I love writing people who care. It’s, like, my whole schtick.
