A few days ago @remyfire tagged me in this, and at the time I was struggling with a section where I kept going back and rewriting so no line felt like the last.
But this is the last lines I wrote for this story (and I just posted a months-earlier chapter which was also BJ and Peg):
"Clear their places," Peg told Erin. She smiled at BJ. "He apologised for leaving so suddenly, BJ, it's fine." She went through to the kitchen. BJ followed her.
"This is not okay," BJ told her.
"It is," said Peg. "We all like salmon-cakes, and I can freeze the leftovers - if there are any." She gave BJ a very firm stare, and glanced up at the shelf where they kept the letter-book: she could not have said as clearly "We'll talk about it later" without putting it into words.
rules: post the last line you wrote and tag as many people as there are words (or however many you like).
I'm breaking the rules, but I also posted a pic of BJ Hunnicutt under the cut, so I can: @toesareforfeet @guy-in-a-dress @abyssiniahenry @caffiene-fueled-fuckery @amrv-5 @thebreakfastgenie @caddyxjellyby and @allcanonisrelative.
This is what BJ would have looked like at the time of this story. Assuming Peg had made him shave the moustache.
this is a 3000 sq.ft. detached, single family, design-build project sits on a very secluded 80 plus acres site with views in all directions near the kirkwood ski resort in the north california sierra foothills. the building is elongated to take advantage of the views and winter sun / solar orientation, while the overhangs and interlocking volumes shield the building from the intense summer sun. to further take advantage of the views and support an age-in-place building, there is an elevator to a large roof deck, including a telescope on the top of the building. the design-built project was created to handle the wind, snow, fires and provide a relaxing getaway for friends and family to enjoy.
