i had a lot of issues with s4 but i genuinely believe that max’s arc in s4 was one of the best things they have ever done in this show and i don’t think the graveyard scene nor her death scene will ever leave me. the way that so many people have connected to her and her story is incredibly moving. you don’t need to have experienced 1980s indiana or battles with lovecraftian horrors to wrap yourself in max’s pain, her quiet distance, her panic when she finally realizes she wants more time just as her clock is running out. i just. i don’t know. the duffers got that really, truly right.

#the inherent heartbreak of having an epiphany just a moment too late; of finally knowing that there's more for you only when you're #teetering on the edge of a cliff; of Wanting something so ordinary so badly after months or years of not feeling anything at all and being #denied.#and it's all driven home by the fact that she's a child. that this should only be the beginning but this is the ending because sometimes we #can't see something even when it's standing right in front of us and now she and lucas and el and everyone else are learning the bitterest #lesson that is.#it's so so horrible but in such a tender way. anyway if you want to bawl your eyes out #at 11pm like me i highly recommend watching fans react to max's death. it's given me a lot more respect for youtubers and also makes me want #to disappear off the face of the earth a little bit<3 #max mayfield #st 4 #stranger things #**#millie talks

i'm still unsure how i want to draw the hermits, forgive me if i bounce around with different styles or techniques for awhile. i'm inexperienced with sharing fanart (i normally keep it to myself ^^;) and usually only draw the hermits on a whim or when i have time, but hopefully i will find something to stick with that i and others can both enjoy.

i wanted to clarify this for anyone who may visit my blog during this learning stage, haha. it won't be the cleanest, but we will get there soon.
