I feel like this need to be said, because of the mains call I posted a little bit go. If we are mains - or anything along those lines - never feel afraid to tell me if it's no longer a desire! I know that people can sometimes lose interest & that is perfectly okay. I would rather know than being told much later, that I made someone feel like they had to stay mains. I always want my partners to feel comfortable and happy and therefore, I also want to make it clear that never mind what, it's completely okay to tell me this directly. Actually, I would much rather prefer this, because it would make me immensely sad to later get to know, that I might have hurt someone indirectly, by not knowing this sooner. Why I don't write Blade very much in his (mara-struck) canon verse: He is a very difficult man to write in canon, unless if a verse is plotted, where he can function on a semi-normal level. He is severally damaged and mentally broken, to the point that he has forgotten most of his life. He wasn't sane to begin with, after being mara-struck, but Jingliu is the real blame for him pretty much only remembering "three must pay a price". In one of his voice lines, he even states that "it's carved into my every wound" which is pretty much his way of stating how much he was tortured by Jingliu (also one of the many reasons, I, as the mun, dislike her so dang much. No offence tho, to anyone, who writes her, I just can't stand her. Also one of the reasons, I won't ever pull for her character.) So, writing Blade in that verse leaves little room for interactions as he is pretty much just a puppet, without much going on in his mind.
