This ship has always been niche and rather inactive but... Has anyone ever noticed how Mimura LOOKS at Sugaya?! Especially in the second picture, it's so cute!

SUNNY CAPPUCCINO : HIGH SCHOOL DAYS HEADCANONS

nakamura is the one who orchestrates the most trips for them to go on during weekends

group chat is completely dead during exam season

but other than that, it would usually be occupied by two or three people having a long-winded conversation about a miscellaneous topic instead of doing their work

mimura and sugaya always try to find the time to go on their art museum dates as much as possible

although nerve-wrecking, they find it exciting to talk about college and future plans with one another

all of them already know what they want to pursue and have a clear goal in mind and i just like to imagine them passionately raving about their plans :')

sugaya and hayami are study buddies

mimura, chiba, and fuwa take a similar route and the same bus to school, that drops them off at different stops

sometimes fuwa spends five minutes max studying for a test but still aces it anyway

hayami is an avid note-taker™️, super neat handwriting and beautiful annotations

^ she started developing study habits after getting a score lower than her expectations during her freshman year

sugaya is really well known in his school and gets along with everyone

group 2's music taste

what we know as of canon is that Chiba loves Japanese punk and Nakamura likes western pop,, so here are my takes on the others :)

Sugaya : indie folk - the acoustic, the soft rhythm, the ambience. Everything just hits the right spot for him. Songs like such paint vivid pictures in his head as he listens to them.

Fuwa : anime openings tokusatsu soundtracks - I think anime openings is a given lol, so I'd like to project my own taste into this and say she listens to a lot of toku songs as well! Anything full of action and upbeat, it just fills her with energy.

Okajima : 90s/00s pop - think TLC, Destiny's Child, Britney Spears, Spice Girls. Turn on the music and it's a space for him to be as expressive as possible, which he loves a lot.

Hayami : indie rock - this genre just embodies her in ways I can't explain. It's calm, yet bright. A sense of balance and simplicity. Lyrics that are just all too real. She often listens to them when she is stressed or needs comfort.

Mimura : pop rock/pop punk - okay okay definitely an interest of his that he can go on and on and on about for hours. Fumiko once told me that pop punk once dominated 2000s kids shows, and I could definitely see that it would stick with him! And, it explains why he's good at air guitar.

This one made sense to me because Mimura gets jealous from how popular Maehara is. Plus Mimura being a major flirt just sounds so funny 😅

Maehara: what just happened?

Mimura: whoa! I’m Mimura now. This is hella trippy! *sees a beach babe alone by the shore* ohoho hello *smirks as he’s about to walk over to her until Kanzaki (who got switched with Kataoka) stops him by pulling his ear* ow ow!

Maehara: *sighs and shakes his head*

Kurahashi<- -> Hazama

I don’t want to imagine Kurahashi having the personality of Hazama but this is such a good idea for a body switch because we have a ray of sunshine and darkness of a moon, night and day.

Kurahashi: …well this is just great. What kind of curse did we get ourselves into?

Hazama: I’m Hazama now? Ha that’s kinda funny if you think about it! Get it? I’m a ray of sunshine and you’re the stars in the dark night sky!

Kurahashi: your metaphors aren’t funny. I don’t like this already

Yoshida<- -> Takebayashi

Ok but Takebayashi who’s in Yoshida’s body, being in the Terasaka gang 😂. I’d be even funnier if the switch didn’t affect anyone else but those two and when Yoshida starts speaking smart language, the rest of the gang are like “what the hell? This isn’t like you?” And Hazama stands there grinning, “aww I think Yoshida talking like that is actually quite an improvement for him if I say so myself. You guys should try it sometime.”

Takebayashi: the hell? Why am I wearing glasses? God I look so lame with these on.

Yoshida: Excuse me Takebayashi, but I believe that the contact with the stone made everybody switch bodies. So if I’m not mistaken, our qualities are swapped, meaning no matter who’s body we’re in, our thoughts, abilities, everything follows.

Takebayashi: oh great…

Nakamura<- -> Kimura

We know that Kimura wasn’t too confident in his first name, but what if Nakamura is in his body and says silly stuff using his name? XD

Nakamura: whoa that was weird…wait why do I have?… *slowly realizing he’s in Nakamura’s body* oh no… wait

Kimura: oh yeah! Not to fear everyone because Justice is here! I will find the creator of this stone and hunt them down in the name of Justice! *does a superhero pose*

Nakamura: please…stop making my body say that. It’s embarrassing

Nagisa<- -> Hara

I thank Luna for this pair idea because I never would’ve thought it, but the more I thought of it, it’s perfect for this au. Nagisa becoming the over-protective motherly figure of everyone and eating a lot because the boy is SKINNY. Like he needs to eat I fear for him ;-;

Hara: *notices the stone is gone* huh? The stone disappeared! Is everyone still here? *looks around the room and sees Nagisa eating a whole bunch of food that was in her backpack* Nagisa!
