Midoriya: Kaminari still. idk why its just so perfect to me

Iida: either Sero or Bakugo. bc Seroiida is gorgeous and i love the uptight x laidback thing they have going on but at the same time, Bakuiida has been my sustenance for the past month or two

Uraraka: Toga bc Toga deserves to be happy

Bakugo: honestly it changes every 2-7 business days. its always either Kami, Iida, or Shinsou tbh

Kirishima: Deku lol. Kirideku will always have a special place in my heart ong

Ashido: as of rn? Yaomomo ngl

Tokoyami: Kaminari. war arc has me shipping them bc they just work so well together

Asui: Ochaco and thats only bc shes the only person i ship with Tsu

Todoroki: Kami or Bakugo. currently on a HUGE Todokami kick but at the same time Todobaku just has The Vibes rn

Kaminari: again, on a Todokami kick but overall id have to say Bakugo or Deku i think

Sero: Iida or Todoroki. Seroiida is just perfect overall but Seroroki has way more content and canon evidence so they are at a pretty equal levels imo

Jirou: Momo. Bakugo is definitely a close second though bc i just think Bakujirou is neat

Shoji: Tokoyami. Shotoko has always been a favorite

Koda: Pony. no i cant explain it

Ojiro: KAMINARI.

Yaoyorozu: Mina actually. i just think they have a vv wonderful dynamic

Hagakure: Mina or Ojirou :)

Aaaaaaa I meant to answer this earlier I’m so sorry!

Blasian Mina just makes sense to me? Not much more I can describe how I feel about it. It’s the combo of her curly hair + dark tinted skin in the manga + fanart I’ve seen of her that has really sold me. Plus it makes even more sense in quirkless AUs.

As for Momo, I can see it and the appeal! Personally, I see her as some degree of Russian based on the fact matryoshka dolls are her first creation, as revealed in the Volume 8 extra, which suggests she had to have been familiar to them to help with the process.

Don’t let this make you think I’m against her being Blasian Latina! I think it would work quite well with her, and the edits I have seen with that headcanon look really good! I hope more content with said headcanon is made!

While MinaMomo might not be my ultimate preferred ship for both of them (TsuMina and MomoJiro being those ultimate ships respectfully), it is an incredibly good ship! The contrast in their personalities makes for lots of fun interactions, especially when Momo brings out her dorky side. They’re also both really good with people, Momo able to interact well in upper class situations while Mina has basically everything else covered. What’s interesting is that both of them seem to struggle with anxiety in some sort of way, though Mina pushes through far more often, perhaps via her natural energy or the adrenaline of the situation. (Side note I find funny: despite headcanoning Mina as demiromantic based off of canonical statements about her and love (loves romance but has never fallen in love before), she’s the character I have the most ships for. Funny how that works out, huh?)

MinaMomo is so cute so here we go!

Momo likes to lay in Mina chest and listen to her heartbeat when she has trouble sleeping

She also just does it to remind herself that Mina is still there despite everything they've been through

Mina likes to poke fun at Momo by saying her heartbeat sounds like a harp because of her background

Mina heartbeat speeds up when ever Momo towers over her and gives her gentle kisses. It makes her want to faint sometimes!

Mina has gotten so used to sleeping on Momo chest that she can predict the rhythm of it at this point.

THANK YOU CAL I NEVER GET ASKS IN ASK GAMES SO I'M SUPER EXCITED TO ANSWER THIS! OKAY, SO-

Izuocha first! Whether I ship it or not: I think it's very cute and I've read more than a few fics of it, but I will admit it's not a big ship with me so I don't actively seek it out. 7/10!

Why I ship it or not: I think that Izuku and Ochako's relationship is really sweet and I love the building blocks of it especially. The canon stuff is great!

My opinion on their canon potential (chemistry, canon interactions, etc): We all know that these two canonically have crushes on each other, which is honestly really sweet and feels really natural since they're both 15/16. Crushes happen at that age. But above that, their friendship is really important, especially with how Ochako convinced Izuku that "Deku" doesn't have to be an insult and how Izuku inspires Ochako to work hard and be an even better Hero.

I especially like how Ochako's arc has been about becoming the Hero who Helps the Heroes, since we all know that Heroes are human too, despite what society has tried to convince itself. I'm excited to see more scenes of that nature.

I also think it's interesting how Ochako has done her best to suppress/change her feelings, since she sees them as a distraction to her being a Hero. And occasionally, when she has emulated Izuku maybe a bit too much (like when she almost rushed in to float stuff away in the licensing exam), it almost has cost her narratively and in universe. After all, in the Sports Festival, she faints after thinking "Deku wouldn't give up either" or "What would Deku do". I don't often see a love interest's feelings being handled like this so it's fun to watch.

My opinion on fanon interpretations/fandom around it (Favorite widespread hcs, pet-peeves, etc): I really don't like how people will use Ochako's romantic feelings for Izuku to diminish her entire character as just "Izuku's girlfriend" or "the love interest" because for God's sake, this girl is much more than just that empty label.

Ochako is a bruiser and one of the first and only people Katsuki fucking Bakugo acknowledged as a worthy opponent. As a reminder, in that same day Katsuki also fought Fumikage "I have a literal demon in me" Tokoyami, Eijirou "I'm the ultimate shield" Kirishima and Shouto "I've had the Number 2 Hero beating his training into me since I had my Quirk" Todoroki. That's not even counting the Cavalry Battle of the Obstacle Course. And out of that long list of battles, the only person who Bakugo called by name was Ochako fucking Uraraka!

She's a really grounded person and wants to help out her parents. She's struggled with being from a low income home but has made it work and is fighting hard to give back.

I also don't like how fanon will sometimes hate on Ochako for getting in the way of the m/m ships, but that is a fandom issue as old as shipping itself.

As for more positive things, I don't engage with enough of the fanon I think to find something? Sorry, haha. Onto the next ship!

MinaMomo

Whether I ship it or not: I'm honestly willing to ship anything, but I haven't seen much content for these two, so I'm gonna say a yes but it's gonna be a vague yes. 5/10!

Why I ship it or not: Mina and Momo have very contrasting personalities and aesthetics, Mina being kinda urban breakdancing Queen that she is and Momo being kinda high born lady Princess that she is. I think seeing the two together is very fun though and I like their canon friendship.

My opinion on their canon potential (chemistry, canon interactions, etc): I think Mina and Momo are good friends in canon and it's great to see. We need more content of the Class 1A ladies and just all the women in MHA having more time on screen. But I also think I should probably pay more attention to what's going on when Momo and Mina are on screen. Not that I don't pay attention, I love watching them interact! But I don't pay them as much attention as I pay other characters in the show like Tenya.

My opinion on fanon interpretations/fandom around it (Favorite widespread hcs, pet-peeves, etc): I haven't interacted with this enough in fandom to know what to say honestly, but maybe I should look for more of it in the future! I'm open to fanart and fic recs!

Looks at old my hero academia fankids I made “We can rebuild them, we have the technology”

Inspired by Fran from @catboymoments , I decided to redesign some of my old bnha fan kids as characters for my own original universe, Feral State University

……I now realize that I’ve never talked about FSU on here.

The basic rundown is that chemical warfare caused humans DNA to mutate, and the next generation of humans had “animalistic” features and powers, and these people were dubbed “feral-folk”. There are many different kinds of feralfolk, and the animalfolk are just one of them
