When the capital was established in Kyoto in 794, Hirano Shrine has long enjoyed prosperous relationship with the Imperial family, and the two Samurai factions, the Genji and the Heike, that served them.
A sakura festival has occurred at the shrine every single year since 985, for over a thousand years. This makes it the oldest festival in Kyoto that can claim to have continued unbroken for that long.

Quick thing I want to bring attention to- I’ve known this song for abt 2 years now, and I didn’t know the song meaning until about halfway through making this edit 😭 I promise I do not mean to warp the meaning of the song at all, and I’d recommend that y’all listen to the full song it’s rlly good 🫶(Christmas kids-roar)
sooo, i was reading the newest Tbhk chapter and I just wanted to point out some things.
In the bottom panel, Teru looks like he's enjoying everything, it's hilarious 😂
Alsooo.....
She freaking ignored Akane, poor guy....
I was so shocked! Wtf?! And poor Akane's reaction (my Akame x Aoi heart is shattering rn)
The way he changed his mind so quickly though!!
Teru is doing this to Akane on purpose😭
And you see Aoi-chan's face?? She's obviously sad!! I'm sure she likes Akane here and that she doesn't want Teru (earlier she did say it's arranged sooo...)!!! Anyways, ignore this, my AoiAoi (is that even what the ship is called?) Heart is making theories atm....
