Lucifer ending thoughts ~with spoilers~

Ok so...at times I felt like the narrative was a little pushed in the last 2 episodes. (like why couldn’t Lucifer brb sometimes to see his loved ones and then get back to hell to “work”? Even with the way time works differently in hell, it still seems possible?)

But overall I was very satisfied with the ending. And it’s not often I say that about shows, because usually they drag on for too long or end in a really shitty way.

And I loved how the last scene is Lucifer and Chloe reuniting after being for so long apart, sigh. Chloe was like, ok I’m seeing my hellish man again- he’s my afterlife. And Lucifer’s face when he saw her. <3 Journeys end in lovers meeting and all that. I feel like we got closure from all the characters and the story was bittersweet. I felt the love and emotional damage.

one day Rory run of to the middle of the streets and almost giving Lucifer a heart attack

so now Chloe is: Lucifer! Why is Rory on a leash?????

OKAY BUT LUCIFER WOULD DEFINITELY PUT HIS KID ON A LEASH! And not because he didn't want to hold her hand like he said to Trixie in S2. lol He is That Paranoid Parent and I can't let that headcanon go.

He thought it would be more stressful when her wings started being able to hold her weight, but actually Rory being able to fly herself out of danger? Pretty helpful for his anxiety. Takes some of the pressure off of him.

And when her bladed feathers come in, he just nods like "Yeah, okay. Good choice, Rory." because now she can defend herself against people too.

This is, of course, the inverse of Chloe. She's raised a human child before and knows what physical dangers she actually needs to worry about when they're little, but she has absolutely NO experience raising a baby angel. As Lucifer's anxiety goes down, Chloe's goes up because her child can fly and cut people! WTF! :O :S

Ok, I'm skipping some of the pairings I have more AO3 bookmarks for (like Deckerstar, a.k.a. Lucifer Morningstar/Chloe Decker from Lucifer) to present to you this old favorite pairing of mine which I don't think I've mentioned before. I loved Vaako in Chronicles of Riddick and thought he and Riddick had fantastic chemistry and a lot of enemies-to-lovers potential.
