Matias after rescuing a dozen Illager cubs, is covered on them as they cling like koalas. He does the awkward dragging kids around walk out of the Hero Guild, which is soaked with the blood and remains of all of the Players who had the cubs captive.

The cubs hadn't been fed for an unknown time, and were in bad condition with filthy clothes and wounds. Sensing safety, the cubs cling tighter and dug in little claws. Matias winces but endures the discomfort, being reminded of baby Eimear. They are very noisy as they smell food in his pockets and the Pillager warlord shuffles out to his waiting Ravager, all 12 passengers firmly in place.

He gives them all some snacks and water and places each squirming bundle into a secure travel pouch on the side of the great beast.

His journey home is long and rather sleepless but he knows all about being a Dad, and isn't troubled. Back at his town, Illagers gush over how adorable the cubs are and quickly get then clean clothes and a bath, to much fussing.

Words gets out to the human and Villager communities of the horrible monstrous Pillager who slaughtered the brave and selfless Hero Guild, and said word purposefully withholds the information as to why it happened in the first place.

I had a small Minecraft theory, not really detailed

That we are either a clone, created by those, trying to replicate people of the past, or the successful dezombiefying

Which would explain the amnesia, either cause there was no past to rememberz or because we've been a zombie

I totally dig it and can believe it! A thing about Minecraft that I enjoy is how much lore it has without a cohesive story. Everything can be explained but nothing is, allowing an open-world game to be played with your own story beats.

I personally love this idea that ancient people gave up on regular survival and just tried to get their numbers up by any means. The player being what was considered a failed dezombification subject let loose, only to come back later absolutely fucks. Or maybe we were taken by another person (not wanting us to be used for further experiments) and let free, a lore explanation for starter chests. It also explains why we come back. If we die, we briefly become a zombie again and make out a way home before passing out due to the experiment and coming back to normal. It's like were infused with a shitty totem of undying.

#my own thing I use for my skin #since i make my minecraft skins #is that my player was a farmer who let their cows be used on the flora fauna section of my theory but got infected by the substances #they slowly started to gain cow attributes and features and were cast out due to tension and distrust of creatures no longer fully human #so i play like a nomad/vegitarian who is trying to find a new home after being forced from their last one #i play minecraft like there is story goals #ask #anon #this theory slaps tho #cause zombies for some reason keep getting more variants #makes me think at some point werre just gonna get like a fuckin person at this rate #minecraft player #minecraft theory #minecraft zombie #minblr
