Finally got some good pics of Toby! This piece is also a bit of a memorial to a real life pomeranian named Toby, may he rest in peace.
Because of this, I wanted to make him a sort of display case. I experimented with a dice box and some foam. I wanted him to also be a playable mini, so you can still remove him from the base. I think the design of the display could use some tweaks, but it worked better than expected!
I also want to make him a better label, but for now the simple one serves it's purpose.
The figure is from one of the doggy sets of Animal Adventures
Well it would've been hard to predict how Bucchigiri?! ends, but in the end with all its issues it was an incredibly entertaining and funny show that i enjoyed a lot
Oh didn't mean wukong is abusive, should have probably used better words. I mean the insults and aggression wukong threw at macaque when he was imprisoned during their breakup fight
ohhhhhhhhh ok that makes more sense 🤔
tbh my opinion still stands 😂 if anything, Macadoo would just blow up even worse. he would be depending on that string to show that the two of them could withstand this, that it could just be the two of them like before
but swk is bitter and hurt and trapped under a mountain for (as far as he’s aware) an indiscriminate amount of time, so he does not return that hope. he lashes out and refuses to play nice as Macky was trying to do and that is the final straw
all his faith placed on that string, and he watches and hears it shatter under the mountain. his saving grace is nothing but a false hope, so he fired back the worst of his venom that he can because the string lied. it spun its little fantasy and played with his heart and he hates for falling so its lies so easily
I asked him why he thought the key to the sequence of crimes lay in the book of Revelation. He looked at me, amazed: “The book of John offers the key to everything!” And he added, with a grimace of bitterness, “I knew it, I’ve been saying as much for a long time. ... I was the one, you know, to suggest to the abbot ... the one we had then ... to collect as many commentaries on the Apocalypse as possible. I was to have become librarian. ... But then the other one managed to have himself sent to Silos, where he found the finest manuscripts, and he came back with splendid booty. ... Oh, he knew where to look; he also spoke the language of the infidels. ... And so the library was given into his keeping, and not mine. But God punished him, and sent him into the realm of darkness before his time. Ha ha ...” He laughed in a nasty way, that old man who until then, lost in the serenity of his old age, had seemed to me like an innocent child.
The Name of The Rose, Fourth Day, Vespers - In which Alinardo seems to give valuable information, and William reveals his method of arriving at a probable truth through a series of unquestionable errors.
Golisopod practises two techniques at the temple monastery. With his arms extended, he can reach opponents from a step away and surprise them with his long claw blades. He engages in close-quarters battle with his other two arms to knock out adversaries.

Another iconic pathfinder character: this is the monk Sajan, and I always loved his style. I do love skin practice, and this was a great mini for that.
Protectors of the Coralaegis peninsula, the Storm Order are an organization of adept mages and warriors alike. With crashing waves as their shield and fierce lightning their sword, few enemies dare threaten the region’s peace. Come and marvel at the wondrous dance of these mighty forces, and be sure to pay your respects.
I wanted to try the improved-formula Speedpaint 2.0, so I used it for the brown robe and pants. The grey and red are old formula.
The new paint seemed to go on more evenly and settle better into the cracks, for stronger basic highlights and shadows, though I did some additional highlighting anyway. I haven't tested its sensitivity to reactivation yet.
The old paint tended to go on quite thick, so you practically had to rub it off to get edge highlights, and for smoother areas, well, you just have to paint the highlights on, because that stuff will rub right off and leave an ugly patch that you can't fix without stripping off the entire layer and just painting it traditionally instead.
Here's a pic before applying varnish so it doesn't have the reflections from sunlight.
