Don’t listen to their outlandish malarkey and sugarcoated ersatz! Don’t listen to the formulated lies about the non-existence of flying Terminids!

Earlier today, in a routine impossible-difficulty mission to Hellmire, after being attacked brutally by an enormous Bile Titan, I found myself being hunted by a viscous horde of Terminid spewers, chargers and warriors, so I ran away to ‘safety’ to hopefully find the chance to reload my trusty shotgun.

However, as I found myself at the edge of the combat zone, surrounded from all sides by the awful bugs, and as far as I could possibly be from my fellow Helldivers, I found myself decended upon by what seemed to be flying Scavengers and Warriors! But besides that, they were… different!

They were more powerful! They were stronger! They were faster, more nimble and most importantly, flying! Compared to the average 5 or 6 hits to down a Helldiver from a normal scavenger, these only took 2 or 3! Potentially even less if I hadn’t used medium armour!

Truly horrifying!

So fellow Helldivers, don’t listen to the Ministry of Truth’s lies! Spread the word! Share any encounters! We must show the people of the Helldivers and Super Earth the truth of the Terminids and most importantly, these new “Hunters” as they are so called!

I know its really no secret by now that we're gonna be fighting a new faction soon, but it's funny to see how Helldivers 2 is preparing players via propaganda.

Official announcement (in game from the Ministry of Truth) saying "Its not that Super Earth hates aliens, its that aliens hate freedom!"

Currently, we're fighting bugs and bots with very strict terminology and name use around them, so the fact they would say "aliens" doesn't really feel like a mistake.

Homeland Security creating a "Disinformation Governance Board" is actually a really big deal.

They can pretend it's just to fight Russian "disinformation" all they want, but ask yourself how many American citizens have been censored and banned for speaking against the current administration with the justification that they are "Russian trolls" or they are spreading "Russian disinformation."

They want to censor Americans and control the narrative and now they are creating a federal department to do to just that. It's no coincidence this news is coming right after Musk bought Twitter and everyone is flipping out because he will respect the right to free speech unlike the previous Twitter owner.

You can't brush this off with claims that it's a private company and they can do what they want because this time it's literally the government. The very idea of a "Disinformation Governance Board" is in direct violation of the first amendment and is just a fancy name for a Ministry of Truth.

There is no justification for the existence of such a thing and it must be abolished.
