Grogu - remind me that the tough times won't last forever? It's easy to get grumpy when my day is off to a rough start, and I'm prone to anxiety and depression anyway.
I will remind everyone reading my words, that I am not a licensed therapist, which reminds me of the time my dad confused me with an electrical engineer!
But I will ALSO remind you that tough times won't last forever because they don't, Katie friend.
But I do remember a day that I was just minding my own business playing with these shell guys, and Dad scooped me up, which I liked, and then made me do paintball shooting which I did not!
I mean, what the heck! I don't even know the rules to this game. Plus, Ragnar is being a sass at me and my dad! Okay, no one sasses my dad but me, kid!
But Dad was like, Don't talk about what you don't know and I was like, well
Oof! That day got really bad! I thought it was going to be bad for mostly me, but it took a turn, and poor Ragnar was the one who I think thought it was going to be a really good day and BAM! scooped up by a flying mom guy to be her babies dinner.
Now I have to tell you I appreciate a mom who feeds her babies, and sometimes people get weird about what that food is. But yeah, eating Mandalorian foundlings? Not so great.
THEN the Armorer, who was supposed to be watching over me, decided I needed to remember traumas that day... but I also remembered Kelleran Bec, and that was good. And I got my mudhorn armor, which was also good. And Dad, plus also, Ragnar's dad and That Bo saved Ragnar. And it helped my and his dad to be frie ... well, more friends... ish.
So days can turn bad very fast AND get better.
And sometimes it takes time...
Lookit me!
How it started:
(I mean, really, Father!)
How it's going:
(That is more like it, sir!)
A message from Hazel: Katie, I hope you have a better day today than the day you sent your ask and that tomorrow is even better. But even if it isn't, remember it will be. Take care💚

The angst gremlins are at work today. I may or may not be working on a particular single parent au and I am full blown about to wreck havoc. Should I stop myself or not?

There's some dude (derogatory) on FB who is PISSED people are pricing their farm fresh eggs at $2 and $3 a dozen instead of $4+, saying it's "disrespectful" and "undignified" and "I'm trying to feed my kids" like Sir, you are on a Facebook group page bitching about your neighbors egg prices because your pet chickens aren't earning you a living wage and you think it's your neighbors' fault, you do not have a leg to stand on here wrt dignity.
Also half the answers are like "I give them to friends and family free" or "I donate them to food banks" or "I'm making them affordable to folks who might not otherwise be able to get them now that they're so expensive in the store" and "if you think you're going to turn a profit keeping backyard chickens you have been wildly misled" and so on, and so forth, and I'm so living for it.
and I can tell you right now, he did NOT like my answer of "if you're trying to feed your kids, I hear eggs are edible."

Grogu, when you get the chance, can you have your dad and Hazel buy you the following books? I think you'll like them!
- Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day
- Abiyoyo
- Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs
Thank you for these book suggestions, Katie Friend! I like reading very much!
I do know That Alexander! Oh boy, what a day HE had! I wonder what the planet Australia is like...
I have not heard of Abiyoyo (but it is a fun word to say!), and I really do like meatballs!

When David saw Goliath (Yes!), that was a miracle.
When God gave us manna in the wilderness, that was a miracle too.
But of all God's miracles large and small
The most miraculous one of all
Is the one I thought could never be:
God has given you to me
