Another Maribat prompt! I tried to write this one but it wasn't working out for me 😭, so I thought I'd post the idea here so maybe someone would have better luck than me.

Another "Marinette is shipped off for BioDad!Bruce Wayne" storyline because I really like those ones, but with a little 💥flare~💥

Prompt: Because shes constantly getting in trouble Sabine and Tom send her to Bruce to straighten her out. Bruce read her school files but didn't look too deep because he didn't think a school would be so incompetent not to research bullying, and thievery claims, and he is not impressed. Right out of the gate, before Marinette can even enter the house, he lays down the rules. And of course he told the others, warning them so they wouldn't be swayed. So, there Marinette stands, in a unfamiliar country, in a unfamiliar house(manor), with unfamiliar people staring at her like shes a wild, unpredictable animal(they didn't even give her the decency of letting her prove herself) after her parents, friends, and school basically turned their backs on her, and something just snaps.

She was Marinette Cheng, upcoming fashion designer, and weilder of (and Gaurdian of) the Miraculous. If they wanted to treat her like a wild, unpredictable animal, fine then, she'd give them what they wanted! But it was well known that if you corner a injured animal, they will fight, and fight she does.

Marinette is coldly polite with them(except Alfred, Jason, and Seline who she happily greets, and chats with because they treat her normally), until they treat her badly, and then all gloves are off. And boy does she know how to hit them right where it hurts. They hurt her? Well shes going to hurt them right back.

Bruce watches her likes shes going to steal something from the manor when she just stopped to gaze at a picture? She loudly wonders what her 'grandparents' would think about the untrusting, emotionally shut off batchelor Bruce had become. Damian sneers at her while she sketches in the garden? Marinette gushes about how lucky she was that her parents had at least kept her around because they loved her instead of seeing her as a weapon for their own means. Dick suspiously questions where she got the money to afford 3 MDC originals? Marinette cant help but wonder what it feels like to be continuously replaced by stronger, smarter, and blood related siblings. Tim questions why she would take answers to a test when she could get high marks if she just tried after it's his turn to check her homework? Wow Marinette sure is glad she doesn't want any part of Wayne industries because she would hate to be used as a pack mule who's only use is to do the paperwork Bruce doesn't want to do.

But sometimes the injured animal, after fighting for so long, just can't fight back anymore, at which point they can either surrender, or run.

Bonus Points if: Marinette is the Black Cat and Gaurdian rather than the Ladybug, and Cat Woman + Marinette bonding both in and out of the suit.

A/N: You can change this in your rendition of this prompt, but I have a reason that Alfred, Jason, and Seline were spared. Alfred knows all and treats Marinette like he would anyone else, Jason is really carefree and can tell when someone is just trying to defend themselves(plus watching his families insecurities get poked at by a little girl is hilarious), and Seline warned Bruce not to go in guns blazing and recognized her defense mechanism for what it was as soon as she had seen Marinette's eyes during the first interaction between Bruce and Marinette(plus Seline + Marinette step mom and daughter bonding).

Accidental Guardian Marinette

I got this idea while working on a chapter for my Miraculous Ladybug rewrite story, Miraculous Descendent.

Basically, the Miracle Box has been passed down from generation to generation in Marinette's family until her mother gives it to her for her birthday. However, the recent generations of the family don't know about the Miracle Box's jewelry being magical, and the Kwami are sealed inside of their Miraculous until they're worn.

When Marinette gets the Miracle Box, she begins wearing the jewelry inside it but doesn't see the Kwami inside them since they hide from her. However, either through her clumsiness, another person's misconceptions (for example; Alya trying to give Marinette the Fox Miraculous back when it slips off her neck after Alya saves/helps her, but she doesn't hear Alya, and she assumes Marinette gives it to her after she passed Marinette's secret superhero test after she puts it on and meets Trixx), or just bad luck, she ends up losing the different pieces and someone else find them.

Everyone who gets a Miraculous while knowing it belonged to Marinette assumes she's some kind of secret superhero recruiter and the Kwami can try to keep it that way out of some form of worry for Master Fu's descendants being in danger if the truth is revealed. They can probably come to her for advice in a roundabout way while not mentioning their secret identities, and Marinette inadvertently gives them the advice they need.

It could all come together when the Miraculous Grimoire is discovered in Gabriel's safe, and Adrien takes it to Marinette, causing everything to be unraveled. Now, Marinette knows about the Miraculous and her friends being heroes. By then, instead of being Ladybug, she could take a back seat to try and figure out how to read the Grimoire by going through her family's old items for a translator. Of course, you could still make her Ladybug if you want.

This is just a fun prompt where the main character is locked out of the loop about canon events despite them being a catalyst for it since they're the person who inadvertently created the heroes fighting against Hawkmoth.

Destruction prompt

Similar to my earlier post about the first episode for season 5, Ladybug should have quit gloating and just grabbed all miraculous while she could.

Granted they could only get so many before Monarch decided being cataclysmed was not worth losing for good.

But since the glasses were on his face, they were among the first miraculous to be retrieved.

Monarch knew he could not teleport out of there but he escapes with the dragon miraculous, or uses the rooster miraculous to give himself the power to escape any trap.

And with the kwamis now on her side, Marinette now knows who Hawkmoth is.

Monarch refuses to be captured and is on the run, hiding out at Tomoe’s place.

Nathalie is arrested, but given some clemency because of her illness.

Alya sugar/Lila salt prompt: Alya exposes Lila's secrets

Takes place during season 4.

Lila lies about something that Alya knows to be untrue 100% (maybe Lila says that Nora is rigging her wrestling matches), which leads Alya to put two and two togather and that Marinette was right about Lila being a lying h*e. Alya then decides that, because she is a journalist and a truth seeker, she will personally (& secretly) investigate Lila to find out what else she's lying about. To that end, Alya uses the powers of the fox miraculous to recover all information on Lila that she can, which leads to Alya uncovering evidence of all of Lila's secrets (her alliance with Hawkmoth, her three mothers) and maybe an even darker secret about Lila (sentimonster Lila?). Alya post her findings onto the Ladyblog.

Alya and Marinette sugar of course; Lila salt; Adrien/Nino salt or sugar optional; class salt; Ms. Bustier salt (I hate her)

I had an Adrienette fueled dream last night so I'm gonna share because I have way too many wips to work on and I think fandom needs to see this lol

Adrien and Marinette got separated from the class after defeating an akuma but they find each other. While they try to find the class together (after Adrien calms Marinette's freak out, Adrien brings out his Marinette lucky charm here because my dreams follow every other fics tropes) they're looking at store's windows and looking at street vendors.

They are having fun while trying to find their friends and Adrien's taking pictures (a lot of Marinette ones) and he tolds her to wait right there for a minute.

He comes back with "friendship" rings that he saw a few shops back (the ones that are like puzzle pieces that fit in a pattern). Marinette's is too big so it's on her thumb, but Adrien's fits perfectly on his ring finger.

They want to kiss each other a lot while they walk BUT THIS IS PRE REVEAL PRE RELATIONSHIP.

They were holding hands most of my dream.

Maribat – Those that were left Behind

Before anything, read the rules.

Okay, this prompt is… a lot, to say the least. I discussed this idea before with @natedogx15, but, this is a more “polished” version of it.

The concept is, do you know those Maribat fics where Marinette left class after Lila destroyed her reputation during the timeline of season 3? And then she returns dating a dc character? And everyone in class is like “Oh my! We were so stupid, sorry, Mari”?

Yeah, it’s based on this one… but with a twist! In this story, instead of the focus being on Marinette falling in love… it is about the class members that stayed in Paris!

In this AU, the story would start with the class hearing Marinette has moved away… some are shocked, but, believing Lila, are relieved she is away. Some of this include Alya, Nino, Chloe (who would have become Lila’s ally before for reasons to be discussed later) and the rest.

But one specific student is sad, because she knows the truth. And that student is… Sabrina! Basically, we moved her arc of Season 5 finale to the middle of Season 3 and now, she is redeemed.

(I am back on my Sabrina Phase, blame @sabrina-central for that)

The story isn’t over, though, because, since Marinette left, she needed to leave a powerful miraculous back in Paris to purify the akumas, and we get the Solaire Plume plot here to!

So, basically, this fic is Season 4 of miraculous with Rooster!Sabrina as the main character.

As time passes, though, more people start to notice Lila’s intentions, and Sabrina makes her own team to expose Lila. This team is formed by other side characters that deserve more screen time, like Nathaniel, Marc and Alix. (Maybe Kagami and Luka could be thrown in the mix too, but, who knows).

Who wouldn’t love a team formed by Solaire Plume, Ryuko, Viperion, Caprikid and Dog!Marc?

I have no idea where this can go, but, it’s interesting none the less. I just think that it would be cool a fic of miraculous where the main characters aren’t Marinette, Alya, Adrien, Nino and Chloe.

Miraculous Prompt

Never gonna write this myself, but the concept has captured my mind, so I'm putting it out there for anyone else to take!

King Gabriel has two sons, and two countries he wants to ally with. One country, he wishes to partner, the other he wants to weaken, so he can eventually take it over as a vassal state. Adrien is his eldest son, trained in statecraft- Gabriel views him as softhearted and weakwilled, since he always does what he's told. Felix is his younger son, trained in military strategy and tactics- Gabriel sees him as the stronger of the two.

Adrien is contracted to marry the oldest daughter of the Tsurugi Clan, who rule the country to the east. Adrien's softheartedness will be tempered by Kagami's decisiveness, and Gabriel won't have to worry about him strengthening the nation too much. The alliance will be a true partnership of equals.

Felix is contracted to marry the oldest daughter of the Dupain-Cheng monarchy, who rule the country to the south. They already have a strong military, because they have uneasy relationships with their other neighbors. Gabriel wants Felix to urge a stronger dependence on Gabriel's military using the marriage alliance, while he secretly fosters unrest in their neighbors.

What a calamity then, to discover after the fact that Adrien and Felix have switched places, and married the wrong girls.

“Of course!” Lila Rossi’s sharp smile would make anyone uneasy, her calculating eyes filled with malice. But to Marinette, all she saw was the one person she had left.

Oh! So imagine, after Le Papillion, Ladybug and Chat Noir made their appearance, everyone suddenly found a giant "0" tattooed on their backs.

And everytime someone dies (and disappears and whatever) by an akuma and is brought back to life by the cleansing light, that number on their back goes up by (1).

So the more often you've died and have been brought back, the higher the number gets. No one is granted an exception.

Imagine Adrien's surprise when he accidentally gets a glimpse of Marinette's back cos the wind made her flowy top rise or something...

And he sees the number 25,913...

Class Salt/Lila Salt Prompt

The class wants Marinette to step down as Class Rep(or for there to at least be a revote) because Lila has been hinting that she wants to do it. The morning they were planning to bring it up however, Marinette comes in excited. The Student Council Vice President is moving and they need a new Vice President immediately, and Marinette was recommended by the President themself! The problem is that there is a school rule against being a Class Rep and a Student Council Member(because both committees would be too much on one person). So Marinette explains that she'll be dropping as Class Representative. Lila can't even turn this around to make Marinette the bad guy since they were going to out her in the first place! And the Class Rep job is bs! She gets no real say in Rep meetings, as most of her orders come from the Student Council, she has to fill out a stpid amount of forms to even house a small lunch party, she has some say over class trips but that's even more paperwork! And the Council can veto her ideas even after she does all the paperwork if they think the idea is too dangerous! Which means no over seas trips(because the council doesn't trust her like they do Marinette), amounting her lies about wherever they were wanting to go useless, and making the class disappointed! She can't even spin it to look bad for Marinette because while Yes, Marinette is on the council and has a vote, the Council operates on majority rules!

This can also be written without class salt, or with any additional salt you wish to add(like Bustier).

One Villain, Two Fake Heroes, Two Real Heroes, One Without a Mask

A prompt based on @zoe-oneesama's Scarlet Lady au and my Butterfly villain and Fox hero Lila prompt.

Instead of Hawkmoth having both the Butterfly Miraculous and Peacock, Lila is the one who wields the Butterfly Miraculous and uses it in conjunction with the Fox Miraculous to become a famous hero by making villains with the Butterfly as the mysterious Empress Viola and defeating them as the Fox heroine Volpina. She would repeat this process with every city her family moved to, and it worked great until her family moved to Paris.

Upon arriving in Paris, Master Fu senses her malicious aura and her Miraculous. Fearing the worst, he sends out the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous like in canon. Unfortunately, Chloe steals the Ladybug from Marinette before she can discover them.

Que the first Akuma. Lila was expecting another easy time playing hero and becoming more famous. However, her plans are thrown for a loop when she meets two new Miraculous users for the first time since she found hers.

Now she has to figure out how to get rid of the rookies so she can keep monopolizing the attention of being the only hero hunting down the mysterious Empress Viola. Unfortunately, Paris immediately falls in love with Scarlet Lady due to her Miraculous Ladybug power fixing the city. So, any form of a smear campaign won't help against her. Luckily for Cat Noir, though. Scarlet Lady's arrogant personality causes Lila to focus mostly on putting her down instead of him out of anger and spite.

Cat Noir now has to babysit Scarlet Lady against Empress Viola, with another fake hero secretly plotting his and Scarlet Lady's downfall and berating him for getting in her way since she's the more experienced 'hero' of the three. In the meantime, he, Marinette, and Master Fu try to figure out who Empress Viola, Scarlet Lady, and Volpina are since Master Fu is wary of the fox heroine but unsure how to deal with her.

To add another loop in Lila's plans, you can make it so a different Miraculous puts Emiliee in her comatose state, and the Peacock is fine. So, she could arrive in Paris and begin her latest hero campaign as Gabriel uses the Peacock to start his own villainous campaign to gain the Miraculous and save his wife. Now she doesn't have the luxury of faking or manipulating some of the battles in her favor since there's another villain capable of creating villains. It would also cause Cat Noir, Marinette, and Master Fu to have four people to worry about since they think Volpina and Empress Viola are two different people at the start.

An interesting idea you could do when this story is nearing the climax or to prolong the story into a new arc is to have Gabriel, Lila, and Chloe join forces after Volpina and Scarlet Lady are exposed as the fakes they are. Now, Paon (Peacock Gabriel), Empress Viola, and Chloe, with the newly repaired broken Miraculous in Gabriel's custody, work together to try and bring down the real heroes and take their Miraculous to fix their lives.

only, it's Adrien Agreste waiting for them on the meeting point, beaming so hard at her that it's blatantly obvious they know each other well. in her panic, what is Marinette supposed to tell Alya and Nino to protect their identites, if not that they used to date?

Fanfic "Prompt"

Chloe is also a sentibeing. Audrey made her in an act of vanity, which explain's Chloe's personality.

Using it made Audrey go mad, and the only reason she survived is because she's made of sterner stuff than Colt, Emilie, or even Nathalie.

However, Audrey was upset with the result, and abandoned her.

This also neatly explains how gentle (but corrupt) Andre ended up with such a horrible wife.
