Miraculous and Batboys - how it starts

BIG CANNON CHANGE HERE: Chloe never revealed her identity in this one, because I like the name Queen Bee, and I prefer characters learning from mistakes and growing for real.

Marinette rubbed her forehead as she wrote down yet another of Lila’s lies, the timeframe it ‘happened’ in, and added it to the open document of ‘Lila Rossi’s life, according to her’ that she convinced the class to work on her with Adrien’s help.

Why?

Because the class was reading it over sometimes and would find the inconsistencies for themselves.

Including the changing date of when she met various celebrities, where she grew up, who she met when…

Sabrina, Max and Alya were now doing independent research into earlier stories for the class. It only took a few years, but better late than never.

The class was waking up (finally) and it looked like Chloe was in full ‘protect Adrikins’ mode now. Which was bad and good. Good, because Lila and Gabriel refused to oppose Chloe and risk upsetting the Mayor. Good because it meant Adrien could get away from Lila and her claws. Bad because it meant Chloe and not getting away to be Chat as easily. And finding time to hang out with him to talk ‘end Hawkmoth’ strategies was a lot harder.

Which meant on the ‘scour cities Wonder Woman was seen in’ days, only Marinette could go. Which was fine, just, she’s still not the greatest at English, and Adrien was better at talking to people on the fly. She did have the better cover though—helping Fu tend to his tea plants and checking on his health. Maman and Papa did worry about the old man helping their daughter with her Mandarin.

She left school with a wave to the blondes, Lila once more thwarted in trying to force Adrien to study with her by Max claiming he was the better student with a more open schedule, and therefore the superior tutor.

Marinette smiled as she slipped out knowing she’d have a few hours to scour Metropolis, the latest location Wonder Woman was spotted in. She’d go out of costume—no need to step on another hero’s toes yet. They needed help but Master Fu was careful to remind her that she still needed to be careful with how many knew of the Miraculous.

No need to get the attention of the League of Assassins—age old enemies that did almost destroy the Order on too many occasions.

“Voyage!”

One minute she’s in Fu’s shop, the next she’s in Metropolis. She’s careful to leave the Metropolis Museum’s bathroom and leave without the cameras seeing her. No need to end up on any meta-human watches.

Until she bumped into a brunette in too much flannel that paled when he saw her. She didn’t know what was going on with him, but she doesn’t have time for it. She was quick to leave and move about Metropolis like she was far more familiar with it than she was.

She didn’t see her before the timer went off. Maman would worry if she didn’t get home soon…

Kaalki used voyage on their own to get them back.

“Any luck Marinette?” Fu asked.

Marinette shook her head. “None. Sorry Master.”

“It is okay Marinette,” Fu reassured. “You can try again on the weekend.”

Marinette nodded, twisting a bit of her shirt. She really hoped they found her soon.

Jon froze when he saw the girl with pigtails. She—how do you get breaks like that? How can you be alive? He’s seen something like that on a few of the Leaguers but they fully healed before going back out. This girl’s were wide open.

He opened his mouth to say something, anything, but the girl was gone.

He tried to follow where she left, but she was gone.

He was worried and sent a message to his dad: we need to talk—saw something I can’t explain.

That night he tried to explain what he saw.

“This girl, not middle school but definitely not college, she shouldn’t have been alive, let alone walking.”

That had his dad’s attention.

“I know, she, she acted like she was fine but I x-rayed her by accident and dad, there were cracks and breaks on all her bones. Different states of healing but she shouldn’t have been moving like it was fine. I, Dad I’m worried. Can you keep an eye out if you see her?”

Superman nodded. That… she could be an experiment or meta or mage but no matter what, it sounded like she was in anything but a good place… she might be a good fit for one the League affiliates if she did have powers of some kind, or issues to work out more like the Robins. Speaking of…

“She didn’t happen to have black hair or blue eyes, did she?”

Jon frowned. “I, yeah, why?”

Superman sighed. “You might have found Bruce’s next student.”

Things got worse for Marinette. Hawkmoth and Mayura tried to kill her and Chat this time something about it being easier with dead heroes.

She felt sick.

“Master Fu, I know we said to be cautious but…”

Fu nodded. “Go as Ladybug. It might be easier if Wonder Woman is aware there is an active Ladybug.”

Marinette checked the WonderWatch. Last place was still Metropolis.

“Tikki, Spots on!”

Kaalki opened a portal for her, flying in behind her. Once they got there, Marinette put the glasses in her yoyo, Kaalki following.

It didn’t take Marinette long to run into someone—well, Superman on the roofs. Who looked ready for a fight.

“And you are?”

“Ladybug, one of Paris’ heroes.” Marinette launched into an abridged explanation while Superman froze at one point. Unknown to Marinette, he check her for injuries and felt sick at the sight of her (very much should not function) skeleton with too many injuries. Just like the girl he said he’d keep an eye out for.

“How did you get here?”

Ladybug opened up her yoyo, showing the glasses as she put them on.

“Is it time to leave Ladybug?” Kaalki asked, looking around to see Superman. And then be very unimpressed. “This is not the child of Hippolyta.”

Superman took a deep breath. “You’re coming to the Watch Tower, we can get this sorted there.”

Superman use his comm to contact Wonder Woman while Ladybug put Kaalki away.

“There a kid here that’s looking for you, looks like a magic user and goes by Ladybug—“

“You are to bring her right away!”

Superman turned to the red spandex hero on the roof, looking a bit awkward.

“Do you mind coming to the Watch Tower with me, Wonder Woman wants to speak with you.”

Marinette nodded, hoping that maybe Wonder Woman could get her in contact with the former Ladybug. Perhaps she’d have more insight on how to take down Hawkmoth and Mayura.

Once there, Wonder Woman grabbed Marinette. “How long have you wielded Tikki?”

Marinette relaxed at that one. “Three years, the Grand Guardian didn’t want the League of Assassins to know the Order survived their last purge.”

Marinette didn’t notice how Superman or Batman froze at that.

“Of course,” Wonder Woman shook her head. “How many survived?”

Marinette gave a weak smile. “Just my master to our knowledge. If Chat’s civilian life allowed for it, he’d be training more with me but as it stands…”

Wonder Woman squeezed her shoulder. “You are young to take on that burden.”

Marinette shrugged. She was the only one available. “My teammates all have a hard time getting away or haven’t earned his trust to that level.”

That had Wonder Woman narrowing her eyes. “How old are your allies?”

Marinette rubbed the back of her neck. “Uh, I’m the second youngest, but we’re all close in age.”

Wonder Woman frowned at that. “I see… the Guardian must have only just begun rebuilding the Order then.”

“Order?” Batman asked.

Wonder Woman sighed. “Order of the Miraculous, protector of the Kwami—concepts incarnate. If properly used, they are a force for immeasurable good. When used incorrectly, they could devastate the world.”

Marinette nodded. “Chat and mine are the targets by the corrupted butterfly and broken peacock user, we don’t know why beyond using them for a wish that would have some cataclysmic side effect.”

Wonder Woman took a deep breath. “Would it be of use to speak to my mother?”

“Maybe, but we need to figure out their identities since they’ve escalated beyond theft, mind control and possession into outright trying to kill us.”

“Can someone explain what’s going on,” Batman grumbled, rubbing his temples. “And how we didn’t know about this sooner?”

“The butterfly is Transmission, which means people can only learn of our situation if you see it yourself or someone tells you directly in the case of the restrictions the current butterfly user placed on the kwami.”

“And we wouldn’t see the destruction of Paris because…”

“The Miraculous Cure,” Wonder Woman launched into an enthusiastic explanation while Marinette took out Kaalki.

“Ladybug, where are—ah, Hypolita’s daughter.” Kaalki moved to examine Wonder Woman. “If you could tell me where the former Ladybug is, then we can be out of your hair.”

“What—no, we have to help!” Wonder Woman exclaimed, clearly intent on making sure Marinette wasn’t going back alone. “The current Order is operating with only one Gaurdian, and a team unsupervised children—No offense Ladybug, but I can not let you leave without ensuring your team has more support.”

Marinette winced at that. “I know, but I don’t think we could take on any Leaguers if Hawkmoth akumatized them. Or if Mayura made an amok using them.”

Wonder Woman opened and closed her mouth. “Then what can I do?”

Marinette knew there was only one way to get what she needed and keep the League out as a whole. “If you can find someone that can keep their emotions in check and knows how to investigate, they can focus on unmasking Hawkmoth and Mayura’s identities.”

“If I may,” Batman interrupted. “If you can explain the situation, I believe my sons can assist you.”

Marinette was quick to agree in exchange for Wonder Woman taking her to Thymescira to meet the former Ladybug.

Marinette was skeptical of the bayboys. Red Hood was known to kill (she’d count him in the hero category given the change in MO to moderate injury now). The current Robin had killed too… Red Robin felt off and Nightwing looked like he’d be more at home in a circus.

Chat was with her, Queen Bee at her side with a raised eyebrow.

“So this is who we’ll be working with?” Red Robin sounded tired.

Chat looked at Marinette, and what could she say, it was this or be trapped in the Watch Tower with the Justice League trying to take over. Which could get League of Assassin attention and she was avoiding that. The new order was too fragile still.

Marinette offered her hand. “Ladybug, team strategist.”

“And leader,” Queen Bee chimed in with a grin.

Nightwing frowned. “I thought some guardian was?”

Chat shook his head. “M’lady is in charge. The Guardian takes care of the kwami and decides when we should use more than mine and M’lady’s.”

“And mine now.”

“And Queenie’s now.”

Marinette fondly shook her head. This was her newly minted permanent team, and the only way to keep Chloe from sticking to Adrien during attacks.

A Failed Betrothal (5)

This is going to be the last part I am going to post in a while. My school is finally starting up again and I am sure to be swamped with homework. Without further ado. Enjoy ❤

Damian laid in bed, thinking about the recent turn of events. Lady, who told them that they can call her Marinette since they might as well get acquainted while the Waynes were in Paris. She had found out Jason’s identity after a few google searches and by extension, the rest of the Bats while they both were taking a shower. It had taken a few arguments and one sentimonster attack that cut one of the arguments short to trust the Dupain-Chengs with their secret identities. His bride was apparently a superhero too. Has been for a few years. In a different world, he might have actually dated her out of his own free will and fought crime with her together.

Damian shook his head at that thought.

That was the curse talking. Get a hold of yourself, Wayne. Resist. Don’t think about Marinette and her blue eyes.

Back to the akumas, Paris had been under the control of a magical terrorist for years. Lady Noire, formerly known as Ladybug, formed a team to battle against him. He also found out about the Guardian who chose Marinette and someone else, who wasn’t spoken about much except that his name was Chat Noir and she now wields his ring temporarily, to fight against Hawkmoth as partners. The same Guardian that promised her hand-in-marriage in exchange for protection from the League of Assassins. Sabine, the Blue Reaper, had to be restrained from killing the old amnesiatic man by her bear of a husband who was reluctant to do so and also wanted to help her.

Hawkmoth also had a partner who went by the name, Mayura, with a power similar to his and could create sentimonster out of negative emotions. Their top suspect was Gabriel Agreste, with much evidence pointing his way but they had difficulty trying to confirm it and had the time to gather evidence to do it. The local authorities were helpful but getting a search warrant for a famous, rich designer who was a known recluse with circumstantial evidence is not possible.

After informing their father of their kidnapping and the situation in Paris (and racking up the Dupain-Cheng's phone bill), they were told to stay there and help as much as they can. Tim, who was coming to Paris for a vacation (suspicious), got his plans hijacked and was now going to help uncover Hawkmoth’s identity.

When the Justice League had reached out a few years ago, they were rebuffed by the Mayor. Nightrunner got into contact with the one of the heroes, Ladybug who asked for a meeting outside of Paris with Wonder Woman and Batman came along, to assess her. They didn’t expect a young girl to be Paris’s heroine.

3 years ago…

“Bonjour, Princess Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Hippolayta, it is an honour to meet you. And you too, Batman.” The spotted heroine greeted both of them with Nightrunner besides her. Their meeting point was in the gardens in the Palace of Versailles.

“The pleasure is all mine, Ladybug. But I am confused as to why you have refused the Justice League’s help.” Wonder Woman was worried that the Ladybug Miraculous was active again and for many good reasons.

“I would be glad for some help but Paris is run by an incompetent fool. He wants no one outside of Paris to think that the city is unsafe due to Hawkmoth and keep the tourism numbers high. The other reason is that my Miraculous Cure can restore any physical damages done during a fight and involving you might result in more damages than I could cure. But I also think it would be better if there were less powerful heroes in Paris, akumas amplifies one’s power and I don’t want to fight you after you had a bad day.” Ladybug explained. Nightrunner murmured in agreement.

“Do you know how Hawkmoth operates?” asked Batman. He had read reports of the situation but wondered the true extent of it.

“Have Wonder Woman explained to you about the Miraculous?”

He nodded.

“Hawkmoth has the butterfly miraculous, and it has the power of transmission. In the right hands, they would be used to grant ordinary people powers as the user’s champions. But in the hands of Hawkmoth, he targets people with high negative emotions, a girl after a bad break-up or a student with a failed grade. He grants them powers to use for revenge or some obscure version of justice. In return, he asks for mine and Chat Noir’s miraculous. With our two miraculous, he can make a wish but wishes always come with a price so it is best if we keep it out of his reach.”

“How have you not captured him yet?”

“Hawkmoth is a coward who rarely comes out to face us. I have never met him face-to-face. He uses people to get what he wants. Not very honourable. The Mayor has refused to help my attempts to stop him or prevent more akumas because his bratty daughter isn’t given a Miraculous to be a hero. I don’t have the time or resources because I am still in school and have other obligations outside the suit. I can’t tell my family and ask for help because the Guardian’s ,the one who gave me the Miraculous in the first place, secret identities rule and some magic thing that makes me unable to tell them.”

The adults were all horrified at what the girl was going through.

“We could help in other ways. Not fight the akumas but provide you the resources to track down and capture him. Do you have any training? From the footage we have seen, you know martial arts and how to use some weapons.”

“I was raised in a forgotten temple somewhere in Asia with brutal training everyday before I ran away. I met someone on my way out who took me in and adopted me.” She said it seriously enough that they have no room for doubt.

“Batman, she just said she was adopted. She may have the features but the answer is no.” Wonder Woman said with a knowing look in her eyes.

“I wasn’t thinking about it. She has a duty to Paris right now and I am not going to take away from her life here. I don’t adopt every black-haired and blue-eyed child I see.” Batman denied.

“I am confused.” Ladybug said, tilting her head.

“Batman here has a bad habit of adopting kids with a tragic past, especially kids with black hair and blue eyes.” Nightrunner explained to his fellow Parisian hero.

“Well, Mousier, you will have to fight my parents for custody. While I have training, Chat Noir doesn’t and he hinders the battles with his ‘help’. I would give him some but he sees them as dates even though I have told him it’s not.”

“His incompetence is a liability. Why is he your partner?”

“The Guardian chose him too like he chose me through some stupid trial I somehow passed the requirements for. I am just hoping that there is a really good reason for choosing Chat Noir. I have some questions on how you are-”

“Ladybug, what are you doing?” A sharp voice cut in. An old man who appeared to be dressed as a tortoise landed in front of them.

“Master Fu, this is Princess Diana of Themyscira and the world’s greatest detective, Batman. I am asking for their help in finding Hawkmoth.” Ladybug explained, confused why Master Fu looked upset.

“Ladybug, that was extremely foolish of you. This is a matter of the Order. You shouldn’t have involved other heroes in it. We can resolve this on our own. I apologize on behalf of her for wasting your time.”

“But, Master-” “We will talk about this later, Ladybug. You are young and don’t understand things yet.”

“Guardian, with all due respect, my mother was a Ladybug wielder herself and the Amazons will lend a hand to any miraculous holders in need.”

“It is appreciated but Ladybug, Chat Noir and I can do it on our own. Come along, Ladybug.”

“Let me at least apologize for my mistake, Guardian.”

“Very well. Meet me later.”

“I am sorry but it looks like I have to fight Hawkmoth without your help. That being said please don’t try to look further into Hawkmoth’s identity and leave any notes of your leads in the mouth of the gargoyle on the northside of Notre Dame where I usually rest after I finish patrol. Salut, Princess Diana, Batman, Nightrunner.” She left using her yo-yo to swing away after giving them a wink.

Batman smirked. He had to give it to Ladybug, she was clever and resourceful and Diana was right, he wanted to adopt her.

Present time…

Now that the previous Guardian was out of the picture, the Miraculous team would gladly accept any help they can get.

Damian and Jason had picked up Tim from the airport and they had already set things up in one of the Wayne penthouses in Paris. Less chance of nosy maids than in a hotel.

Bilal had already handed over all the evidence he could find. He was also one of the Miraculous team’s trainers when Sabine couldn’t make it. Jason and Damian were going to help in training and be back-up heroes when needed. (Bilal wore a miraculous once to help out. And that one time was weird enough to last him a lifetime and he was never doing it again.)

Sadly, all the magic users who were allies or part of the JL were busy with other missions or MIA so they couldn’t break Damian’s curse yet. Bruce didn’t see the problem with the curse so unless it causes major problems or someone is free to break it. They couldn’t go back to Gotham until they got the necessary things in order so it looks like they were going to be in Paris for a while.

The next morning, Tim was nowhere to be found. Because they were paranoid Batboys, they tracked his phone to see him at the Dupain-Cheng’s bakery with Marinette and a group of other people, having breakfast.

“There you are, Replacement.” Jason shouted as he entered the bakery, “So, this is where you were? I see you have already figured out who Ladybug is and met her.”

Marinette looked at Damian and Jason, then at Tim and back at them again.

Oh.

She face-palmed as she connected the dots and realized what the nagging feeling she had around Tim was about.

“Oh my Kwamis, you are Tim Drake, adopted by Bruce Wayne aka Batman. Jason and Damian are your brothers. And judging by your build, you are Red Robin. I feel so stupid.”

Thankfully, there were no customers around yet to hear some of the world’s most important secrets being out.

“I am- We are not- Bruce isn’t- How?! How the hell did you find out? And you are Ladybug?!” Tim was floundering at Marinette’s words and the caffeine from his first coffee of the day hadn’t kicked in yet. He looked at her friends, who were looking at the Wayne boys with shocked expressions….and looked similar to the rest of the Miraculous Team.

The caffeine finally kicked in.

“Oh my God. I was talking to the entire Miraculous Team and I didn’t know it. That means Chloe Bourgeois is a hero. That bratty blonde I met as a child is a hero.”

“Speak for yourself, Timothy, my childhood friend is a hero too. I can’t believe we are all heroes.” Chloe said in total disbelief.

Introductions and alter egos were exchanged.

Nearly everything went swimmingly if it weren’t for Chloe jokingly elbowed Marinette and said, “You get to date a hero too. No need to worry about flaking out on dates.”

“What do you mean dates? Dupain-Cheng and I aren’t dating.” Damian said, “My mother wanted us to marry each other, not date.”

“Mari, looks like you need some explaining to do.”

Marinette gave the short story on how she met Damian and Jason.

“So you guys are absolutely not dating? Cool. Tim, are you still open to being Mari-bug's fake boyfriend?” Chloe asked. Tim looked at her incredulously.

“You called me all the way here to fake-date your friend. Why? Not that I am complaining about her or anything.” “There is this boy in our class, Adrien Agreste and he has a little obsession with Marinette.” Chloe explained. “Romantic Soulmates.” Nathaniel chimed in, doing air-quotes.

“So I volunteered on your behalf to be my best friend’s long-distance boyfriend in America who has video-call dates with her once a week. You are going to have little romantic dates coincidently where our classmates are going to be, especially Adrien. It might put him off from pursuing Marinette for a while. After you leave, we are just to mention you every now and then to prevent him from getting any ideas.”

Damian felt a hot, burning sensation in his chest and clenched his jaw at the thought of Marin- Dupain-Cheng holding hands, cuddling and doing all those romantic actions with Drake of all people. (No, he wasn’t jealous. Not at all. Don’t be stupid. )

“Tch, Drake is going to be busy trying to find Hawkmoth. He can’t go around Paris, being Dupain-Cheng’s boyfriend. Besides, he can’t be a proper boyfriend even in his most lucid moments. I will be her boyfriend instead.”

Day 18: Reverse Robins - Day 19: Identities

How this came to happen Mari had no idea.

She was leaving Gotham to patrol Paris like usual, but all of her brothers decided that they wanted to go with her. Mainly to get Andre’s Ice cream for breakfast, and hopefully not be yelled at for doing so by Alfred.

One minute she and her brothers were patrolling Paris in the early morning, some time around 5 am. The next they saw a flash of golden light.

"Let's go. Everyone is on comms" Nightwing took the lead. "Rosu how long for your team to arrive?"

At that moment, her yo-yo rung "Hey Bug who do we have this time" Chat Noir answered in that moment Abeille, Viperion, and Ryuko appeared on screen.

"Comms on guys" she took the lead as easily as Dick had. "The bats are here" with that they all logged off and made their way to where the golden lights kept flashing.

"Any idea on the akuma's powers?"Red Robin asked the miraculous team that arrived before them. Ryuko shoot her head.

The akuma then noticed them "Ladybug, Chat Noir everyone's big sister and big brother. Let's see how you feel taking orders now!" A golden light swept thought the area engulfing the heroes.

"Ha! I think your powers are busted. Um... I don't know your name" Chat yelled.

"Chat!" she scolded but her voice was sharper. She looked around and that was when it hit her. Well specifically she saw a mini Nightwing who looked no older than 15.

"What the hell!" was yelled by a younger Red Hood, 16, complete with a voice crack.

"Huh I didn't change" was spoken by Red Robin.

"That is because you are the middle child, imbecile" was said by an older, 27, Robin.

"Why are you older you’re a big sister" the akuma began throwing a verbal tantrum.

"Sorry I'm actually the youngest in my family" she spoke, 30.

"But everyone listens to you" the akuma stomped her foot "All the heroes listen to you since your older" she huffed trying to find an answer.

"Actually, I'm the oldest in the Miracle Team" Viperion commented, seeming to be a year or two younger.

"Besides" Ryuko spoke stepping towards the girl "We listen to Ladybug because we trust and respect her."

"But that's not how it works" the akuma wrung the wand in her hands.

Ladybug knelt next to her and took the wand releasing the akuma and capturing it.

“Chat catch the butterfly when it is released" she ordered, and he nodded his head. "Lucky charm" she called and, in her hand, fell a small tracker.

She released the Akuma which chat caught and placed the tracker on it. She opened her yo yo and saw the blip on the screen.

"Robin" she moved to her brother who removed his hood and handed it to her, which her brothers then formed a protective circle around her covering her completely. She de-transformed, fed Tikki, and transformed again handing her brother back his hood.

"Ladybug what are you planning?" Abeille asked.

"Give me a moment. Kaalki" the little Kwami came out. She held out her hands and the little horse sat down, and she touched their foreheads together.

"Understood" Kaalki nodded and flew through a portal.

"Follow me" she motioned once the little kwami had left.

"Please tell me you are going to fix us?" Red Hood whined.

"Not yet"

"Why?" this time Nightwing asked.

"Because" she held up her yo-yo showing the blip "we can end Hawkmoth right now"

"How sure are you that the butterfly went to Hawkmoth?" Red Robin asked. As if on cue a ladybug landed on her screen, a bee landed on Abeille, and a cat rubbed against Chat Noir's leg.

"Okay point taken" Robin spoke. "Red can you get the coordinates, and we can make plan?"

"On it"

"Azur can you and Chat go inform the police" she said as they both nodded and left." Vipereon and Ryuko do a quick spar with Hood and I'll spar with Robin" everyone nodded.

"Why the spar bug" Robin asked as they began to pass blows.

"Chat, Abeille, Ryuko, and Red didn't change the rest of us did"

"So, this is to figure out the changes, and sending Nightwing off was better because he is more aerial" Robin hummed as she nodded.

Red Robin sent the location to Nightwing and chat as the rest of us stopped to plan.

The storm at Agreste Manor.

Red Robin shut down all security measures. Robin, Vipereon, and Ryuko went in to scan the rooms and that was sent to Red Robin. "Who is inside" Red Hood asked the three who just came back.

"The Agreste bodyguard, Gorilla, is here and these two would be Gabriel and his assistant, Natalie” Chat explained.

"Doesn't Gabriel have a son?" Robin asks "Adrien correct"

"Yes, he does but he is not here " Abeille answered ending that conversation everyone nodded in acknowledgement as they made their final preparations.

They first took out Gorilla and left him with the police instructing than to stay out of sight.

The team split up to converge on the office. She and Chat Noir were the first to enter.

"Good Morning Monsieur Agreste and Madame Sancoeur" she began.

"As much as I appreciate the visit from our beloved heroes" Gabriel started with a slight venom in his voice. "But this is breaking and entering"

"We are sorry for the inconvenience" but Chat was cut off as Natalie lunged at him.

"So, the calm way is off the table" she sighed as the rest of the team crashed into the room. Gabriel took that time to descend by a hidden elevator, which she followed. She watched as Gabriel transformed and akumatized himself.

In the end the fight took no longer than five minutes as the group of heroes escorted Natalie and Gabriel out of the mansion. They found the body of Emilie Agreste in a cryo chamber comatose.

She went back inside to find the butterfly with the tracker, as well as to retrieve the peacock miraculous from the safe. She also found the grimoire and now she had recovered the two miraculous and the book of miracles all before 8 am and everything looked bright.

She stepped outside and was going to cast the cure when the was a flash and a smiling Wonder Woman and a Superboy holding up a phone.

"This is far too interesting to not document my sister, you will send me that won't you Superboy" he gave Ladybug a bright smile and nodded to Wonder Woman and Mari could only smile as she now cast the cure.

"We have a few things to discuss" she motioned to the Miraculous team to follow her. Leaving the Batboys, Wonder Woman, and Superboy in front of the Agreste Mansion.

They landed on the roof of Le Grande Paris. "Now that Hawkmoth was been defeated, and as guardian, I would like to know whether you would like to keep your Miraculous in order to protect others in this world?"

"But I thought" Chat was beginning to cry "Yes I want to keep being a hero." the others seemed to share his sentiment.

"Alright. Tikki spots off." in a flash there she stood as Marinette. "As a means to protect the Miraculous, hello my name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng Wayne, but you guys already know that" she smirked.

One by one they dropped their transformations.

"Figures that the only idiot to be dorky enough to be Chat Noir would be you Adrien" Chloe rolled her eyes smiling.

"Meow-ouch your hurting me Queenie" Adrien feigned hurt.

"Chloe can we go to your room" Chloe nodded and they followed her.

"What is your plan Mari-hime?" Kagami asked once in the room.

"Chloe meet your father and set up a meeting/announcement for noon" Mari started.

"As me or Abeille?" she asked.

"Power up, you too Luka. I need you to go to the police, so that Gabriel and Natalie are present."

"What about me?" Adrien asked.

"You'll be on stage"

"Why?"

She was going to answer but Kagami beat her. "Your father is going to be revealed as a terrorist. Your involvement will be questioned. I assume that is why Wonder Woman is here."

Mari nodded." Everyone but you will be transformed but Chat will still be there"

"Do we want to know your plan, Melody" Luka questioned.

"I think its best you don't" she smiled. “we'll meet up when it's time, stay in touch" she transformed and was about to leave.

“Where are you going?" Chloe asked the question on everyone's mind.

"I need to speak with Wonder Woman then check in with my dad since I'm supposed to be in Gotham."

A collective group of "Ohs" sounded through the room remembering that their friend was supposed to be in America for the break.

She made it to her brothers, Wonder Woman, and Superboy. She then explained the planned conference and why she called Diana and Jon. At noon, the Mayor held the conference in front of City Hall. He stepped aside and allowed Ladybug to command the stage.

"Hello citizens of Paris. This morning my team and I" she motional to the Miraculous team to her left "With the aid of Gotham's vigilantes Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, and Robin" she motioned to her right "Were able to discover and defeat Hawkmoth and his accomplice Mayura.”

There were cheers from the crowd, but many were apprehensive.

Out walked Gabriel Agreste and Natalie Sancoeur being escorted by guards, behind them walked

Adrien and Wonder Woman.

Ladybug moved to stand next to Chat Noir and allowed Wonder Woman the stage. She draped the Lasso of Truth over them.

"This is the Lasso of Truth; it's power compels you to only speak the truth." she started "What are your names?"

"Gabriel Agreste"

"Natalie Sancoeur"

"Were you the villains Hawkmoth and Mayura?"

"Yes, I was Mayura" Natalie answered.

After an internal struggle Gabriel also spoke "I was Hawkmoth, and this is not where I fail Ladybug" he spat towards the young heroine.

"Why is that?" Wonder Woman asked.

"Lila Rossi aided me in creating Akumas as well as took them willingly, she will continue in spreading fear, hatred, and distrust for when I gain my freedom again." He looked smug until he realized he spoke aloud. Gabriel and Natalie were escorted off stage and Wonder Woman beckoned Adrien forward.

He willingly took hold of the lasso. "What is your name?"

"Adrien Agreste"

"Did you know your father was the Villain Hawkmoth?"

"I only learned that today" He answered "But I can totally see it with how neglectful and emotionally abusive he was as a father" he answered still holding the Lasso.

Everyone was now staring at the boy known as Paris' Teen heartthrob and sweetheart with looks and words condemning Gabriel.

Wonder Woman regained her composure and spoke "I believe this is a discussion best had in private." Adrien gave her a sheepish smile as she led him off stage.

"Ladybug, Ladybug, Ladybug" several reporters shouted but she ended on calling on Aurore.

"Ladybug are you, or any of the heroes on your team, going to stay and protect Paris, will the Miraculous remain active?"

"The Miraculous will remain active, if I or my team so wish to continue wielding them." she answered "the same can be said of Paris, if anyone from my team or I wishes to stay in Paris that is their choice, if they decide to protect another city it is within our right to do so. Bug Out." she finished and all the heroes on stage dispersed in every direction.

"You know you really can pull off orange" she hummed.

"I prefer my red and blue" Jon stated as he de-transforms, leaving Super boy in place of the fox.

"Who knew Superboy would make such a good fox" she teased.

"You know both of us can't lie to save our lives" he gave her a grin "but we can see through them much easier than most"

"Come on this go get ice cream to celebrate with everyone, they found Andre."

"Lead the way" he gave her a bright smile and they were off.

Clear a few things up:

1. Lila stayed in Paris but everyone in the school knows she is a liar and take everything she says with a heaping ton of salt

2. Mari’s knowledge and control of her powers granted by the Miraculous were expanded as if she had held it for 15 years, that is reversed when she cast cure but is something she will be able to do later.

Anyways it’s chaos because Jason is causing chaos with his costume of Barry the bee and won’t leave the rest of the batboys alone or Team miraculous

Marinette decides to join Jason but she uses the bee miraculous instead and together they torment everyone and then go and sit outside in the garden with the rest of the bees

Bombshell AU

The Bombshell Dupain-Cheng plot that shouldn't exist. But I have no chill, so...

Long post!

Marinette appears totally different in Paris, after 3 months gone and everyone is shocked.

We have seen all of this in the one-shot/prequel (HERE), so we’re understood so far.

But what happens to make this drastic change in Marinette's look?

Well, let's go back to when Fu makes Mari a guardian for good and loses the memories of the miraculous, in addition to finally meeting his love.

And here the canon dies. RIP

(Going to the current plot.)

Mari is losing her shit, having lost the only adult person who supported her in heroin life and who helped (poorly) in the most complicated situations.

So here it is: Marinette Dupain-Cheng, 13, collège student, part-time heroine, aspiring designer, class representative and now guardian of very powerful magical jewels.

AH! And a nanny. We can't forget that!

The poor girl doesn't have a minute's peace in this house.

She won't even talk about ugh, Lila, because at that moment the Italian was just a fly on the pile of garbage she had to deal with.

So, she turns to the only possible person in this situation, even though she is afraid of previous behavior.

Chat Noir. Yeee

And she's like, "chat, we need to talk." And he: “omg she will confess”

In the end Ladybug tears up Chat Noir and manages to make the hero understand her side, promising to help.

Marinette spends a few months testing the cat, to see if he slips, but to her relief (because she loved that kitty, even if she didn't say it) he remains steadfast.

They reveal the identities and awkward moment omg

Adrien may have screamed a little like a fan with his idol

Mari may have passed out.

(not that any of them will confess that)

They have a heart for a heart.

Mari no longer in love with Adrien and Adrien trying to overcome Ladybug at that point.

When hawkbeetch decides to attack harder, the two agree that they needed help permanently.

Alya was cut off as soon as the idea was put on the table.

The first ones chosen are Alix, Luka and Kagami

Over time Max and Kim also came back

There was uncertainty in choosing who had been chosen before, but magic was able to supply the uncertainties, since when transformed they were no longer the unmasked heroes

The situation with Lila and because of Alya, Nino is also cut.

So, Chloe makes a 160, apologizes to Marinette looking really sorry and wanting to change

Félix also returns to study at Dupont, after Adrien complains to him about Gabriel forcing Lila into the teenager

With that, the team closes on 9 permanent heroes, but that not all of them always appeared in the fights.

They manage to deal with akumas-hawkdude for a while, but when mayura appears more and more in fights things get worse

It was Max's idea to contact JL for help and so they get batfamily's attention

Batman sends Robin and Red Robin to help closely, while the rest were helping from Gotham

There were some disagreements between Ladybug and Robin, since the vigilante was very... annoying. Not to say worse, she had no patience to put up with the boy's arrogant ass.

As for Red Robin, everyone loved him.

(Max may have had some personal discoveries after meeting the guy)

Time passed, Robin became Reynard

And even with the help of the batboys, finding out who the mothman was became increasingly frustrating.

Everyone came to the conclusion that the magic was much greater in camouflage than they thought before

In that they reach half of the Lycée without any advantage over the villain

Alix and Chloe dating since 14

Marinette and Luka started dating when the girl turned 15, Damian joining the relationship a few months later after pining (of the three)

Félix and Kagami only started to see themselves as something more than friends after they turned 16

Kim and Max being the youngest to start dating, at 13

Adrien only met Jon after identities were shared between the team, he was 16 years old

The identities being shared were entirely accidental. All of them having used their powers and without time to hide from each other, the transformations fell

Finding out who the batfamily was, was easy after that.

Things continued at an impasse until Marinette found Diana Prince on one of the galas in Gotham.

And worlds were opened for the little guardian.

"Oh." The woman murmured; her eyes fixed on Marinette.

Bruce had introduced them both after Diana showed curiosity about the two people with Damian.

"Guardian."

Marinette released the woman's hand as if she had been shocked. Panic running through her veins. Damian and Luka stood up alert.

"What- No. My name is Marinette." She replied nervously.

Diana noticed the girl's behavior, as well as that of the other two boys, and relaxed her posture in a more friendly one.

“My apologies, Marinette. I didn't mean to scare you like that.” The woman took the girl's hand again in hers. A kind smile on her face. "I could feel the power in you since my mother was the former bearer of the goddess Tikki."

The three teenagers gasped in surprise.

"Rreally?" Marinette sighed; her eyes wide.

Diana laughed softly, finding the girl cute. "Yes." But the smile gave way to a confused expression. "But you shouldn't be surprised, since you're the guardian."

"Ah..." Marinette was suddenly shy. The eyes across the room, except for the woman. “I didn't get to finish my training. Master F- the former guardian was obliged to pass on his duty before training me.”

Diana's face contorted in regret before her eyes lit up with an idea. A wonderful one.

"Marinette, I believe I have the perfect solution for this."

And the girl felt her heart race with hope.

With that, Diana offered training to her and the other miraculous heroines in Themyscira and Mari accepted after talking to her friends.

Arthur Curry, at Diana's request, also appeared offering training for the boys and a plan was formed.

They just needed a little more luck... or money.

Bruce, managed to put Dupont as a priority on the Parisian government's reform list

And with more help, Zatanna agreed to stay in Paris to stop Hawkmoth from attacking.

I'm not going to explain this part much here because I'm writing a fanfiction about it. So let's go to some headcanons about this plot.

In this AU I will be working with the hypothesis that the miraculous have limitations, because the heroes have not yet matured. Whether in age or mentality. They are still "children".

That wielding jewelry has side effects like: slow aging. Too slow. Which ends up affecting teenagers, since most were children/pre-teens when they became heroes.

Kwamis are, in fact, the first gods in the world. They are the origin of the universe.

Each miraculous has a true owner in each generation.

Jewelry, kwami and suits can change forms according to the holder. For example: if Plagg wants to, he can take the form of a normal black cat.

In the case of jewelry, I had this idea because of the monkey's miraculous. It is impossible to use without drawing attention, so here the jewels can change shape at any time. If the holder wants to.

As soon as a true holder wields the jewel, when they are in their majority, the miraculous mark is "tattooed" on the person's skin. (Between the shoulder blades, being more specific). I did a shitty editing on my cell phone. HERE.

If a person who is not a rightful holder should use the miraculous, magic corrupts the person as a form of protection.

Alya, Nathalie, Gabriel and Emilie are examples of this.

There is only one exception to this rule: if the Guardian allows use.

Speaking of Guardian, here, they (Mari) have powers over the box and jewelry.

🐞 How about the MT(Mari,Adrien,Kagami,Chloe,Luka) playing volleyball in a beach and the batboys+Cass or Duke(idk) just happen upon them and see how intense the game is and think 'wow they're good' and challenge them.Damian will probably be insulting and patronizing them until they actually play.After the game the MT invite to their spot for lunch.Idk what happens next i just like the idea of the MT going against the Batboys in a non fighting setting.(Timinette or Jasonette)

I'll be doing both because why not.

Jason was bored. Hella bored. Why? Dick convinced Bruce for a family outing. Where did they go? To the beach. Dick looks excited, why wouldn't he? He is probably looking for some new girl to flirt with. He huffed.

Damian was scowling as usual. Tim was doing his work on his phone. Someone shouted very loud which caught their attention, "Dupain-Cheng, carry your lazy ass here and play with these simpletons. I refuse to bear them alone."

All of them turned towards a blonde shouting at a midnight blue-haired girl who was casually coming towards her.

"I'm coming Chloe, now could you please stop shouting like I'm on the other side of the world?"

The blonde- Chloe, huffed.

The demon brat had to open his mouth right there, "Look how these imbeciles are shouting, I bet I could play better than them as a toddler."

Jason raised an eyebrow. All of them went a little closer to see their match. On one side there was a blonde boy, a boy whose black hair had blue tips, and a boy with a cap? Who wears a cap at the beach. On the other side, a girl he can't see the face of but had blue hair pulled out in pigtails was standing with a girl with brown-red hair and glasses, and the blonde who was shouting earlier. It looked like girls vs boys match.

A redhead boy whistles from the side and they started playing. The whole bat family was watching in awe. The ball must not be visible to a normal person. The bat-family was not exactly normal but they still had to whip their head around so fast, that Jason rubbed his neck after a few minutes.

When they were done, the blonde girl turned to them and said, "How was staring at us?"

The blue-haired girl laughed, "Chloe, be nice!" Then she turned to them.

She just huffed again, "Play against us."

The bat family looked at the blonde like seeing if she was serious. Jason smirked, this is going to be fun.

The bat-clan was on one side while the miraculous team as they were calling themselves were on the other side. The match was hard. Both of the teams refused to give up. Damian had the disadvantage of being a kid. But they had the advantage of having more players on their side. They couldn't use all the skills they had to avoid suspicion but Jason could because he isn't living the rich boy's life anymore so he was the leader of their team.

They were equal on both sides. They decided the team who scored the next point will win. Marinette jumped in the air and attempted to score but before she could do so Jason had a brilliant idea. He winked at her with a flirty smirk which caused her to lose balance in the air and the ball hit the side of the miraculous team. They won.

Then they grouped near the net. Her male friends were glaring at him like he has committed some major crime.

"You chea-mphhh" The blonde boy Adrien was shut by the girl with glasses as Marinette came forward.

"Can we do something else for you gentlemen?" She looked at him.

"Yes," his mouth automatically blurted out. All of his family stared at him like he was crazy.

She stared at him for what felt like an eternity before she winked at him and turned to his family, "How do you feel about getting lunch together?" From her tone, it was obvious that she was talking to him.

All of them looked at Jason who had an easy grin on his face which failed to hide his flushed face. It wasn't his fault that she is so hot! And she is wearing a bikini! Well so is all the other girls but still!

Bruce smiled mischievously at him, "We will love to."

Two hours later they found themselves sitting in a restaurant with the group of youngsters.

Jason slowly walked to the balcony to see the stars. He, of course, noticed the presence beside him. They both sneaked to the parking space where she passed him a helmet as she sat on a red bike. "I'm driving."

He chuckled and moved closer to her face but she didn't back up, "Do I get a choice?"

"No."

"Then let's go." They both went away to an unknown destination ignoring the knowing stares of their friends and family.

It was a fairly normal day for Tim. Well as normal as it can get when surprisingly his eldest brother grabs all of them to go to the beach. He has so much work to do and Dick threatened to ruin all his work if he doesn't come with him.

It is probably a "sibling bonding" trip. There were many people there. If it were up to Bruce he would have just bought the beach for a day. But no. So here he was sitting next to his siblings. They were sitting the nearest to the volleyball nets because..... Even he doesn't know why.

He looks at his phone but he had the feeling so he looks up just in time to see a tiny girl catch the ball just a few inches away from his face. But due to her speed and the momentum she ended up in his lap. He let out a low 'oof'.

She started at him. She had black hair that shone blue in the light, pale skin, her frame was very small, she was wearing a red bikini with black spots which reminded him of a ladybug and he could see that she had some freckles on her face because of how close she wasssss......... WAIT! Why was she so close and why is he leaning forward and she couldn't register anything anymore as he felt soft lips brush against his. They both closed their eyes and just enjoyed the feeling of each other's lips. He touched his lips with his tongue which caused her to squeak. He roamed his tongue in her mouth as she did the same. All he could feel was her tongue and her arms that were wrapped around his neck but- he was brought out of his daze by the sound of camera.

He pulled back which brought her out of her daze. She got off him as fast as she could. Both of their faces we're inhumanly red. They looked to see a group of their age and his family staring at them with their jaws on the ground.

He kissed a girl he never met without her permission in a public place in front of his family. He wanted to hide far away from everything. Why did he agree with Dick in the first place!

They ended up having lunch with them and he got to know that her name was Marinette. They both sat there embarrassed as her friends and his family laughed at them. She slid her number in his hand when no one was watching them. He smiled at her shyly as they made an exit.

He has a mission now "Mission future Mrs. Drake Wayne".

“That is indeed some revelation…” Kagami started, but Tim shushed her.

“That’s not the end. I believe that Chat Noir is now working with Hawkmoth!”

“What!?” Was the most common reaction, coupled with drawing a very sharp weapon.

“Silence!” Tim screamed. Everyone immediately calmed down, awaiting explanation or something. Instead, he just pulled out a small pocket flask and took a deep swing.

“It was coffee, wasn't it?” Damian deadpanned.

“No Demon Spawn. It was the best brandy I could steal from Jason.” He paused for a moment. “Of course it was coffee. Do I look like some barbarian to you?!”

“Just get with the story Poirot.” Chloe urged him while shifting in her place. Inside, she was wondering if Sabine would borrow her some of those weapon of hers.

“Fine. Look. It’s either that or hawkmoth is even bigger idiot than I believed him to be, which is highly unlikely. He akumatized someone who had one thing he desired. Instead of making him hand the ring immediately, he just allowed him to run free. It doesn’t make much sense.”

“Chat got possessed by akuma many times. The always just disregarded it and wanted to take advantage of his abilities to take me out.” Marinette pointed out.

“Yes, but I already established that Akumatization distorts your perception of reality. It makes you focus only on the goal and disregard things like common sense. But hawkmoth has no such thing. He could just demand of him to give the ring and then send him after you. But he didn’t. It’s either that or he was compromised after. But the fact stood that Hawkmoth had to know who Chat was even by simple fact of what he desired. And the new upgrades around the manor. They would not allow Chat Noir or Adrien to sneak out any time and he was sighted helping people around the city several times. He just doesn’t come close to Ladybug or other heroes.”

“So he makes sure people don’t suspect a thing while keeping safe distance from us, acting like he is just throwing a hissy fit about me being married.”

“Mari-san. I still can not believe the feline learned about the marriage before us.” She motioned to her and Luka.

“Sorry. I wanted to get him of me. And it was actually a good strategy to make my secret identity safe.”

“Yes. But if I knew that he would act like this and… betray us, I would not disregard his feelings like that.”

“Is that self-pity I hear Mari-bug?” Chloe suddenly turned to her. “I thought I told you that you are not to do that in regard to that blasted moggy.”

“Sorry Chlo.” Marinette gave her a sheepish smile. Stephanie had to hold back a chuckle.

“Fine. Carry on Dupin.” Chloe waved her hand at Tim, who shrugged at the nickname and displayed another thing. This time it was a video of final moments of Chat d’Amour. He played it whole and then paused and backed it. He played it slowly this time, commenting in real life time.

“The video has no sound recorded and magic of the miraculous makes lip-reading impossible even with strongest software available. But look closely. First, he talks with Hawkmoth through this butterfly connection. Then, the akuma is released. Now look at his expression.” Tim paused and zoomed in, sharpening the image. “He looks disappointed. Not in regretful way. It is more in the lines of ‘I agree with the judgement’. Now one could say that he just made a mistake and was ashamed. But! He runs off in the direction of Agreste Manor instead of facing Ladybug. Think why would Hawkmoth recall his precious Akuma. It was only After Jon arrived. Chat could very well fight on or change strategy. Hawkmoth never cared about casualties in his Akumas. So why suddenly care about this one? Why take the power away and make him run. Chat is fast, agile and sneaky. He could avoid Jon and just deliver the ring. The decision was pretty much worst tactical move ever. Unless! You factor the parental instincts and the fact that he could take the ring anyway. They are working together or at least know each other’s identities!” Tim proclaimed.

“Nice work Veronica. I am actually impressed.” Chloe complimented.

“Veronica?” Sabine looked funny at the mayor’s daughter. The older woman felt a bit strange sitting in there with all the kids.

“Ugh! Veronica Mars! Seriously? It’s a classic! Ridiculous! Utterly Ridiculous!” Chloe complained.

“This is just suspicion. We can’t make a move based on suspicion.” Marinette sighted.

“We can. It is enough to justify storm on Agreste Manor.”

“If we are wrong we risk complete failure. We will alert Hawkmoth about our arrival…”

“Actually…” Stephanie grinned. “We don’t need to risk anything. We know Adrien Agreste is Chat Noir. The hero who’s gone rogue. You are the guardian Ladybug. Isn’t it your job to reign him in?”

“Yes, but…” Ladybug was still unconvinced.

“We will use this as an excuse to enter the mansion. Chat lost the privilege of being a hero long ago. He is no longer helping and to be honest he was never a good helper.” Tim commented.

“Okay. If this is for the best…”

“It is sweety. Don’t cry over the milk spilled by a moggy that will end up skinned anyway.”

“Maman!”

“Fine. But I know where he lives, so he better not try anything else with you.” Sabine threatened.

“It’s decided then. The Miraculous team will enter through the front doors while the batboys and I use the commotion to sneak inside.” Stephanie beamed.

“Yes. If Chat won’t give up his ring, we will have a fight at our hands. It is possible that Hawkmoth and Mayura also get in the fight and they might drag the Gorilla into it. We must be prepared that this is when the final battle happens…” Tim kept his emotions in check by downing another hip-flask of coffee. Where does he even keep all that?

“Papa will help us on this one. And maybe we should call the cavalry from Gotham?”

“Relax Angel. We have two to one number advantage. We can deal with them.” Damian reassured her.

‘Fine. We two weeks until we leave. It is decided then. In one week, we storm the Agreste Manor.”

TIMARI SOULMATE AU THING

-Anything you write or draw on your skin appears on the other’s

--This applies to injuries and cuts

-Tim is older by a few months

-They find out about the connection after Mari’s 7th birthday when they both get sizable bruises on each leg but can only remember causing one

--Que parents explaining what it means and frantic research

--Constant conversations follow

--Both become fluent in the other’s language with in 2 years (and even then people find out after 2 years because sometimes they slip when talking)

--Many inside jokes and weird words they made up trying to understand the other language that only they know the meaning of

-They send notes of worry to the other after bad injuries and notes of encouragement

-Wonder Women basically adopts Mari when she finds out there is an active Ladybug

--Mom used to be a Ladybug so she knows all about the Muraculi

-Mari does still have friends despite Lila’s best efforts

--Lila isn’t a main antagonist though still isn't a good person (I want to focus on more fluffy things so that's why; she is no way a good person or redeemed character)

--Her class support system: Cholé, Alix, Adrien, Kim, Luka, Kagami and Max

--Juleka comes around after hanging out with everyone and talking with Luka

--Nino, Nathaniel and Marc also support Mari but aren’t as open because fear and Nino is on the fence about his Girlfriend

--Jagged, Penny, Clara, Audrey all have a respect and care for Mari

-Tim and Mari have battles of witt on their arms to try to figure out who is smarter

--Mari figures out who Robin is; she forgets that Red Robin is a thing so doesn’t look into finding him out

--Figuring out Robin was an accident so she doesnt looking to the rest of the BatFam

--Tim forgets about all the stuff about Ladybug on his arms because living in Gotham has enough to deal with so he tries not to focus on too much at once/has bigger problems

--“I JUST MEET RED ROBIN/LADYBUG” moment in Paris, after a patrol where they run into each other when the League is investigating the plea for help

--The Wayne’s and Diana are there on “official” business but really it is just a cover so they can investigate

--Diana hears about this from both sides as she befriended Mari earlier and finds this a lovely development

---She also figures out that they are soulmates but doesn’t tell them, it’s better if they figure it out themselves

---Does often have a knowing smile when talking to the 2 of them about it though

-It took years before the team decides that they need to contact the League

--This is a few years in maybe 4 going on 5

--Wonder Woman is the one going through the messages and immediately wants to help

--Tim was never awake so they brought him back coffee and Bruce while he did go, she wasn’t there at the time

--Anytime the bois need help with a really bad puzzle by the riddler Tim asks his soulmate under the guise of a normal “battle”

---There is rarely context but always a fun time

-Both have gotten a lot of big scars that sorry the other but they have comfort in the fact they know the other is still ok and alive

--Small messages and self care tips/messages usually litter their arm after a particular bad injury/scar

--This always makes them feel better and brings a small smile to their lips on both parties once they get the message they are okay

--Lots of check in messages too after big fights and encouragement

-Team Miraculous

--Ladybug is the leader and tends to be point base for public relations (Mari)

--Chat Noir is the second in command, and is the go to if Ladybug isn’t available

---Adrien has matured a lot and is a respectable force to be reckoned with

---Both of them help train the others and often spare together to blow off steam

--Ryuuko is Kagami, she became a permanent holder at the same time Luka did

--Viperion is Luka and it is after the four become a semntited team that Mari decides they should know each other’s identities

--Queen Bee joins a little but after, she’s a reformed Cholé

---While hesitate at first Mari gets them all to be accepting

---Probably changes name and outfit though, but is a permanent holder

--King Monkey and Pegas are semi permanent holders (Kim and Max respectfully)

---Only not permanent because they want to avoid suspension but are full members of the team

---Also work as civilians, helps with the cover

--Alix also is a part of the team but only as a civilian

---They have considered giving her the Fox

----She helps answer questions and acts as a ground base for the hero’s as she is the main “civilian” the government goes to if they need the team

--They are a really tight team and trust each other fully

--The turtle and fox get used but sparingly

---Ivan might be turtle sometimes

---Nino later might be a good choice too, I’m not fully sure yet

----Fox has been used by Alix and maybe Juleka too but unsure about Juleka right now

--All holders have slight effects from their miraculous

---Mari and Adrein have the most as they’ve had theirs the longest

---Mari has good luck and is able to embed some of that luck into what she makes

----She also doesn’t do well in the cold

----Things tend to grow more around her, especially flowers, almost like they are growing toward her

---Adrien has bad luck (thanks to Mari’s gifts this isn't really bad though) and if not careful can break anything

----Likes to take naps in the sun and is very protective

----Cats like to gravitate to him

---Kagami has lots of extra body heat

---Luka can sometimes predict what is going to happen, can predict a lot of normal everyday things

---Cholé can easily knock people out now, she knows all the right places to hit to incapacitate someone

---Max (weaker cause hasn’t had as long) knows the fastest way to get places and shortcuts basically anywhere

---Kim (weaker cause hasn’t had as long) is able to freerun and parkour with little training

----Can also sense when some chaos is about to happen, however it isn’t to sting yet but does get stronger the longer he has his miraculous

---Alix (has the weakest, but still strong) has the ability to tear apart half truths and lies, she gets this from the fox but also works on it herself after vowing to not let Lila fool anyone she cares about again

-After Hawk Moth is defeated Adrien moves in with the group

--Mostly stays with Mari and Kagami

---Considering moving with Mari when she leaves Pairs

-Mari becomes the Guardian before Hawk Moth is defeated

--It is about when she makes a real team, Fu gives her the knowledge and training she needs

--He’s been doing it indirecting since the beginning (well a few months in) but after she takes initiative with making the team he is more direct

--He waited to make sure she as ready and she is

-Mari plans to move to Gotham to properly meet her soulmate after school

--This is to move the Miraculous and to further her career

--This is one of the biggest motivators to contact the League to get help defeating Hawk Moth

--The team is more than onboard with going with her and follow where she goes

---They are basically family, and family supports family

--This move would also help them with Uni and furthering their potential careers, so it is a win-win for everyone

--They do want to stay a Superhero team after Hawk Moth but more low-key, the move would also give them a chance to be more open about wanting to do this

---Partly due to the whole secret identity thing

--Despite never getting much from his soulmate Adrien always leaves messages of encouragement and validation

---He starts to leave some in Englsih too, just in case his soulmate only knows Englsih

---He often apologies of injuries he gets

----Conner doesn’t usually notice the injury but the note afterward

-----part of his alien blood is why he doesn't usually feel

------When he does notice he does worry a lot because if he feels it what must have happened to this other person (is under the impression it is a normal civilian)

--Adrien is so happy to know he is loved by someone else, because as Conner may not show it, he has a feeling his other half cares

---Mari is so happy that her best friend has gotten what he needed to know he was loved she cries with him too

----It happens a year or so after being heros so they are close but don’t quite know each others identities yet, but that happens not long after

--Conner is convinced to go and help when the Justice League goes to Paris

---He goes and stays with Tim most of the time

---Tim is the one who convinced him to go and acts as a translator, as Conner has a grasp of the language he isn't too confident

---He does meet Chat Noir but only briefly; both are more focused on the bigger picture

----Both act like lost puppies with Mari and Tim respectfully; and when they get together this doesn't change too much

----They are a really fluffy couple, Adrein needs physical affection and Conner accepts

-How they meet (Tim and MAri) [finally I know]

--They meet as heros before they meet as civilians

--They meet as heros on a patrol before the final battle with Hawk Moth

---This is where the “HOLY SHIT I JUST MEET RED ROBIN/LADYBUG” moment happens, after they get back from patrol they indemnity write the other

-----they both know the others identity because Diana told Mari so she would trust her because she knew Mari because of her connection with the Miraculous, instant connection

----Wonder Woman figures out they are soulmates through this (Tim had a mini crisis with her that night)

--She “may or may not” leave hint to Bruce to set something up for them

--The 2 are to focused on the final battle to worry about the potential revelations

---While fighting they have instant synergy and chemistry that goes unnoticed by them at the time but everyone else notices and takes note

--Bruce decides to “spontaneously” sponsor a trip for a class to go to Gotham, as a senior/graduation reward for a class that has done a lot for their community

---It is also a way to give a break to the poor kids who have been dealing with this for far to long

---The “contest” is announced about a week or so after the final battle

---Wonder Woman tells Mari about it

---Mari then proceeds to write far more than one would have expected, she really wants her class to have something good finally, and even excluding all the hero end stuff they do it is close to being a novel

----She would have won even if wasn’t a set up

---Wonder Woman tells Bruce which class to choose and doesn’t question it as he trusts her judgment, he also doesn’t question why she is so insistent but completely agrees with her choice

----Diana is the one to tell Mari who instaly is giving her a bone crushing hug which Diana returns in fold

---The whole squad is hyped

----Luka and Kagami pulled some strio “happen” to be going to Gotham themselves

----This is also seen as a great opportunity for them to scout places for them to consider moving after school is done

--They meet at Wayne Enterprise building

---Dick is leading the tour

----Diana may or may not have given him some hints that Tim’s soulmate is in the group

--Lila’s empire is destroyed that week, she tried to lie about the Waynes to the Waynes

---Tries to say she is dating Damiain who is way younger than her and knows nothing

---Conner is staying with Tim because his soulmate said something about Gotham and figured spending time with Tim isn’t bad either

--Identity get revealed on purpose during the trip (probably near the end)

--When Mari sees the boys she is confused but happy to see her new friends again so soon

--Diana is a good support for Mari and a “wing woman” of sorts

--Jason is so happy to she his new “sister” when he crashes the tour to mess with Dick

--Tim is passed out in his office when they pass

---Mari writes a note to her soulmate about how funny it is, this makes Conner look up as he is watching Tim and sees the note appear in his arm

---Mari doesn’t notice but Dick and Jason do

---This leads to the 3 trying to get them to talk

---Adrien catches on and instantly wants to help his bestie meet her boy

----Adrien then tells his soulmate about it later because he wants to and Conner sits straight up and has a huge revelation

-----The boys along with Diana and Mari’s squad set them up and they have a good time and it is really cute

Ugh I can’t turn off my brain, I’ll just be reading Super Sons or rewatching Young Justice or something and it’ll be like “ya know what’d be a great idea?”

Anyway here are some of the ones I couldn’t get out of my head, feel free to comment or use the ideas for fan fiction (if you do please tag me because I want to read it!!!) also tell me if I should write any of them (I might wait until after my Teen Titans AU is finished, it is extremely close to ending though).

Mari as a part of the Young Justice team

Most likely season 1 lineup (no Rocket or Zatanna though)

Marinette was a protégé of Wonder Woman after the defeat of Hawkmoth

She got fed up with being a sidekick and she and Diana talked it out and decided for her to go to Mount Justice

She attends Gotham Academy with Dick and Artemis, she figures out Artemis’s identity quickly (you know because they literally have the same name), but not Dick’s

Most likely a Dick x Marinette ship

Love square shenagind probably, because Dick won’t be able to figure out Marinette’s super hero identity (I was considering having her be Scarlett Cat or something and have the Ladybug miraculous merged with the cat) because the miraculous magic thwarts all of his and Batman’s attempts to figure out who she is and Marinette doesn’t know who Robin is because she’s blind af.

Mari in Metropolis!

This fic would include original characters (Kay would make an appearance as one of the main characters)

Marinette gets picked to go on a school exchange trip in America (Metropolis specifically) for a whole year.

She meets Kay Khan on the plane and they hit it off right away, she was the other girl who was accepted to the program for the Metropolis branch so they would be living together.

The host family who takes them in is none other than...the Kent’s- hahahaha just kidding I’m far more evil than that.

The host family who takes them in is none other than...Lex Luthor!

He heard a little about what was happening in France, not a lot because miraculous magic and the mayor trying to keep things under wraps, but he knows that the jewels the heroes have can grant wishes and hold immense power, so he wants to exploit the kids he takes in to learn more about the miraculouses and situation in Paris.

Kay and Marinette at first think he’s amazing but when they go to Metropolis high (where they meet Jon Kent) Jon tells them Lex sucks

Marinette does some digging and realizes he does suck, she snoops around with Kay and finds out the real reason he took them in

Can they thwart his plans from getting the miraculouses? (Wiggles eyebrows)

Marinette is Mar’i Grayson

I briefly discussed this with some of you, basically Mar’i was in Paris because her parents (Starfire and Nightwing) were on a mission for the Titans.

When they left her with a babysitter while they took down a drug cartel, the babysitter and her go out to the park where a criminal in the cartel shoots the babysitter causing Mar’i to flee in a panic

Mar’i flies to a bakery because she smells sweets and assumes she’s safe there

Sabine and Tom take her in when they realize who’s daughter she is (they are actually the heads of the cartel, but Kor’i and Dick did not know that)

They basically grow to love her and tell her her old parents abandoned her, so Tom and Sabine raise her as their own

She ends up with the Ladybug miraculous, and she’s happy because she can fly around without people suspecting she’s an alien, all she has to do is say that it’s part of her miraculous powers

Dick and Kor’i never stopped looking for her but they were extremely broken and depressed.

The batboys get called on a mission in Paris, Dick almost doesn’t go because too many bad memories, but he does hoping he might see his daughter again.

Damian goes to DuPont high school as a cover and meets Marinette, he gets a teeny tiny (gigantic) crush

Miraculous and the Batboys - Week 3

So i am back(ish) and I bring the Update. Editting is for those with patience and time that i lack. ao3 link HERE

A weekend dodging Gina was… eventful. Even moreso when celebrating ‘No More Gabriel Brand’ time was cut short by a barrage of akuma.

All weekend.

Marinette is convinced the man has too much free time.

She would admit (ONLY when no one else was around) that having someone else checking info during battles was nice. Out of the visiting bats, she had come to rank them from least to most irksome: Red Robin (most helpful), Nightwing (helpful), Red Hood (… he was slightly less annoying—he seems to understand she is the leader of the team) then Robin (who can’t get that she knows what she’s doing, AND hurts the minions more than necessary).

Okay, maybe she’s holding a grudge from when they first met (Tikki enjoyed reminding her of that new found habit—grudge holding) but you don’t go around calling a bunch of magic jewelry powered superheroes incompetent before finding out what they’re fighting and how they have to fight!

And yes, this is a hill she will die on.

Chloe and Adrien are in full agreement, well, Queen Bee and Chat Noir are.

“Are you sure we can’t just…” Chat gestured with his eyes to where Robin was perched at the edge, “just a little?”

Marinette didn’t answer him. She turned to Queen Bee. “You need to influence chaton less.”

“Never.”

Tim almost collapsed when he saw Marinette on her own. Why?

Because he was Certain that he saw a, a red thing—creature? Poke something out of her purse.

Red was Ladybug’s color. Yep. She’s. Yep—mini Red Robin hard since he’s pretty sure she’s avoiding someone too.

She was too—he knew for a fact she’s avoiding Gina excellently (either hiding at the hotel with Chloe, the teashop or one Adrien Agreste and his… legal cousin but Tim is certain there is something off about that with the Holy Doopleganger Batman! Vibe he got from checking out the pair’s apartment. He now had a fun thing to look into when he’s bored and tired of Hawkmoth Shenanigans).

She’s also… yep. Dodging a bunch of teens he’s certain are her classmates.

And… Damnit demon spawn!

Marinette managed to disentangle herself from class parkour (miraculous training as civvies) when she got a text from Damian.

Apparently he wanted to ask how she was handling the whole… Thing with Bustier and Lila.

She wonders if he’s dealt with bullying too, and was looking for advice. She was certain hers was crap, but she did say she’d be around so…

She met up with Damian not too far from the park at a café, nothing fancy, and waited for him to start once they’d placed their orders.

“I know it is a personal matter and not my place to ask, however I would like to know how you have managed to endure the repugnant behavior of our teacher and the harlot.”

Marinette forgot she should think before responding.

“Pretty sure whores and sex workers are paid. She’s more con artist for attention than anything else.”

She missed Damian’s response as the waiter put down their drinks and raised an eyebrow at them.

“Remember the girl that framed me a while back and tried to expel me the first Scarlet Moth round?”

“Ah.” The waiter turned to Damian then. “Don’t insult whore by putting them in with that, well, work and I see my boss so I can’t say what I want again, but we both know what she is, and whores are no where near that level. Politicians, most, whores? No.”

Marinette snorted into her drink as they left.

“And to answer your question, well, I don’t really have a choice.”

Damian narrowed his eyes at that.

Marinette could feel his eyes on her, but couldn’t meet their gaze with this topic. (It still hurt, even though it’s a been years since it began.)

“Lila had everyone charmed or uncertain if she was lying until two weeks ago. Bustier said I had to be a good example and class representative putting that above everything else in my life. Even though everyone knows I’ve been helping run three different businesses on top of handling my program and own business and clientele, and help take care of Fu with a few other small business kids. Nothing could come before the class’s harmony—nothing.”

Marinette took a small bite of her pastry.

“So I saw someone who could force her to listen or have to deal with actively and knowingly violating anti-akuma laws—something she’s only managed to narrowly avoid since, well,” Marinette gestured to herself. “I got tired of constant akumas in class and managed to convince the school board as my last act as class rep to require daily and weekly mental health checks and mitigate potential akuma triggers during weekly checks, daily being more ‘answer these questions honestly’ for stress levels. The system flags major changes, and the students affected see one of the counselors immediately to find ways around what’s bothering them.”

Marinette missed Damian staring at her for that, or how his mouth opened ever so slightly.

“When I stepped down, everyone noticed I wasn’t comfortable alone with Bustier, so it became a rule to stop it whenever they could. The other classes are field specialty and ours is the only one for people doing more than one program or close to.”

Marinette looked up at that with a smile. “Fashion is my official program, but since I do so much business outside of school, I kept having to take classes to help out early on. I never enrolled in the program officially like Chloe did, but the school has me credited as able to graduate with both programs, so until they can justify opening another multi-program class, I’m not allowed to transfer out of the class and stay in Dupont.”

Her eyes hardened when she said, “And I’m not letting a liar and a Bustier be the reason I left the only school that’s willing to go as far as they have for me program-wise—especially not when I only have a year left.”

Damian nodded at that, deciding he’d have to sic Drake on the harlot either way… perhaps Todd and Gina too. He was feeling spiteful.

Marinette decided that when she meets Hawkmoth, she is not only punching him in the face, she is going to do, she doesn’t know exactly what (Tikki has a few ideas that Marinette is certain involve torture) but it will hurt.

Why?

Third akuma on a Sunday. THIRD! What is this man not doing that he was before? She wants to know since whoever freed up his time is on her list now.

Robin was being less annoying (re: tracking the akuma and leaving the minions less battered than usual) while Red Robin was helping the police evacuate affected areas with Nightwing. Somehow Red Hood got it in his head to stick with Chat for “on the job training” her team is trained asshole and she is debating how far she should go when they finish off Hawkmoth for good.

Monday was… interesting. The emancipation was approved—Adrien Agreste legally required no legal guardian.

When Gabriel tried to fire Gorilla, well, Adrien pointed out Gorilla had been in Adrien’s employ this whole time as mother hired and paid him from her accounts. Which transferred to Adrien when she was declared dead.

Marinette dreaded the akuma Hawkmoth might cook up using Gabriel. How he wasn’t akumatized again was anyone’s guess.

Class was…

“So last night Damiboo said—“

Marinette put her head on her desk, and decided to raise an eyebrow at a… for some reason ill-looking Damian.

“Is it because you guys share a name?”

Damian blinked.

Adrien turned around then. “Or because someone has commitment issues.”

Marinette squinted at Adrien because… “What?”

Nino sighed. “Adrien is on another MatchMaker spree.”

“ah. Who are the victims?”

“Not touching it dudette, not touching it.”

Marinette snorted. “It’s not like he’s going to match anyone with well,” Marinette gestured at herself.

“Your infamous army.”

“They are not an army.”

“How many ‘relatives’?” Nino used air quotes.

Marinette narrowed her eyes. “Well under a hundred thousand, so not an army.”

“I am counting the fans.”

Marinette scoffed. “They do not count.”

“They do, and I’m pretty sure Adrien’s fan girl army is applicable.”

“Okay, just because they made up titles and help out during akuma evacs does not make them an army—they’d need weapons training, clear chain of command, coded strategies—”

“And the fact you know this only proves my point, you have an army.”

“Who has an army?” Chloe asked as she walked over.

“Marinette.”

“I do not!”

“You do,” Chloe agreed. “Kim!” the boy looked over at that. “Marinette’s ‘family’ is a small army.”

“I, yes?” Kim’s face scrunched up in confusion. “Any one that picked her up had how many knives on them when we were kids?”

Damian turned to her with a suspicious eye.

She blushed. “Nonna’s friends.”

Damian nodded slowly.

Marinette wondered if the earth could just… swallow her up now.

The rest of the week was in a similar vein. Constant attacks, the batboys helping, her class being weirdly fixated on her family (they aren’t violent, just… prepared.)

Her gymnastics classes were a godsend, and her instructor was checking up on her more than usual, but that might be her more or less running her own classes and lessons as she worked out her routine, music choice, and requirements for her teammates and partners for her routines on trapeze.

Tim was around more. He got it in his head that she needed “guidance” (and okay, she does) on how to conduct corruption investigations into the whole company’s practices and staff.

Then there was Damian being… distant? She was busy but they weren’t talking as much as they were at first and fine, whatever, she got it. She’s not someone he wants to be around…. It happens.

It just… hurts a little is all.

At least she had Adrien and less secrets there. He was fixated on Damian having “commitment issues” and she thinks he’s trying to set him up with someone (Chloe maybe? Why else would he be this focused…. It’d be interesting explaining she’s pretty sure Chloe like girls better than boys and that Damian isn’t her type. At a later date—she’s too busy to now).

Then she had chores and was called in for a hearing on Bustier which was… interesting…. (her duties weren’t too bad for class president. she wasn’t making lesson plans or anything. The role model and forgiving everyone for hurting her and being told to let Lila walk all over her for years was not okay at all, but any teacher would have said that, right?)

Oh and Gina was now convinced Marinette needed protection and now semi-stalking her (Jason was weirdly close to Jason now and talking to him a lot). So random Grandma Attacks when she wanted to draw in Peace.

Lord Murder was her best stress buddy, and Gina is now well acquainted her. She was also given Gina’s Seal of Approval to take over her house for the purposes of keeping Lord Murder and staying there once her current tenants were out (no seeing it until then… unfortunately. She did get dimensions for cat things though. she may browse a bit obsessively… only a bit.)

Tim froze when he ran into Jason with Civilian Chat Noir. And a giant man (Gorilla). At their base. Playing videogames.

“Hey Tim, this is Adrien, Adrien, Tim. Adrien is your mini’s buddy and this is the guy that keeps the harpies away, Gorilla—yes he refuses to tell me his real name—and they’re family now. B can suck it.”

Adrien waved at him before turning back to the game. “I have no idea why he keeps saying that.”

Tim took a deep breath. Apparently adopting strays was just another Bat-thing. “So its nurture, not nature.”

Damian came out, sighed when he saw the group still there, and took a drink into his room while saying. “I did not adopt him.”

Adrien looked back at him then. “You have too many commitment issues to. Don’t worry, though, I’m good at destroying pesky problems like that.”

Tim blinked at that.

Damian sighed as they had this conversation too often now. At school and apparently, his home now. “I am not going to—”

“That’s just your fear talking—we both know that.” Adrien spoke like he was talking to a petulant child. “Why don’t you text your friends and see what they think since I already know the answer and you need more convincing.”

Damian narrowed his eyes. “Jon thinks you are annoying.”

“I’m a delight.” Adrien turned back to his game then.

Jason grinned proudly next to him. A bit too much like a proud parent for Tim’s comfort. (He may also be realizing his keep-his-mini-from-Damian-dating may end up in vain thanks to one Adrien Agreste(?))

Dick sent Bruce exactly (1) update: You are a grandpa now—Jason has a blond cat-hero son who can’t dodge.

Bruce may have had a small heart attack as now he has a magic grandson that he never met, apparently controls raw destruction, and is deeply traumatized. (It was the grandpa part that freaked him out—the rest is par for the course as Batman. He’s a Grandpa Alfred—he’s too young for his children to pull a him and adopt tiny traumatized children and train them into (heroes) vigilantes. Alfred stop laughing, he’s being serious!)

HEY so thanks for patience with the updates as life is Extra Hell now between puppy training when i'm finally home and work being Extra Hell with longer shifts and more to do during.

And before anyone asks about the peacock!marinette thing, look at the two series I have going with Bronywn as those are ongoing as my stress writes.

Any preferences for next update? Open to ideas as my mind is too stressed to do more than work off a prompt of some kind for the time being, and next to none of this story has been planned so far, so ideas are very welcome to keep it moving forward.

You Had Your Chance To Help Years Ago And You Blew It

Chapter Seven: Stubbornness And Accidents

Summary: Dick and Tim arrive in Paris. Dick's annoyed that Bruce isn't leaving the Paris heroes alone while Tim is annoyed he has to go to school while in Paris.

Author's Note: Short chapter I know but hopefully, the next one will be longer.

"So, let me get this straight, you dragged us to Paris in order to investigate the miraculous team even though you were told to leave Paris alone by those heroes and the government" questioned Tim who was drinking his second coffee this morning, the only response he got from Bruce was a grunt as he was detracted by the news report showing the fight from the awards show.

"Did you learn nothing from me and the titans?" exclaimed Dick who had been reading through the file of Paris's heroes,

"not to mention you're making me go to school even though I surpassed to be done with school since I help you run the company" grumbled Tim who hadn't fully woken up.

"I'm not going to ignore this, Paris has been in danger for four years already with only inexperienced heroes to protect them due to an incompetent member of the league" responded Bruce, "and they said heroes were unwelcome not the Wayne family also Tim you're only going to school so you can investigate the so-called Akuma class so don't complain".

Dick responded with a growl of frustration knowing that Bruce wasn't going to change his mind while Tim just slurped his coffee loudly and turned to look at the clock. "Tim, let's get going so we're not late for the meeting at your new school" Dick announced as he turned to leave the hotel room, grabbing the school file on the way out, "enjoy your meeting with the mayor, B".

After Dick made sure that Tim was following him, he left the hotel room but froze when he heard a small yelp of surprise. "Mari, be careful," a deep voice said from behind the door, "I was being, Luka" responded another voice much higher pitch than the last.

Peeking around the door, he saw a tall boy with blue spiky hair and blue eyes wearing black ripped jeans, white top, sneakers that were white and blue, a blue hoodie and a black choker, he was carrying a guitar case on his back and a cardboard box. The higher pitch voice must have belonged to the girl, she had black pixie cut hair, brown eyes and was dressed in pin shorts with black tights, pink sneaker, a black top with a pink jacket on top, the girl was carrying a tray of four coffee which were on top of a bakery box along with carrying a satchel which had fabric coming out of it.

"Shit, I'm so sorry" exclaimed Dick and Tim made it out of the hotel room turning to stare at the pair,

"It's ok, sir, I'm normal clumsy" the girl replied,

"no it's my fault, do you need any help with those boxes," asked Dick,

"don't worry about it sir, it's was just unexpected" the girl responded while the boy just stared at the brothers.

"Are you sure?" asked Tim who shifted uncomfortably under the blue-haired boy's gaze.

"We're fine, don't worry about it" the girl responded,

"We better get going Mari before Jagged starts to search for us" the boy continued still staring at the brothers,

"Good point Luka, sorry about that sirs" the girl now named Mari replied as the pair set off down the hallway. Looking at the pair as they left, Tim could see the girl's jacket had a flower pattern on the back which he sure he had seen before but didn't know where it was from.

Author's Note: Back again.

I made Marinette's hair Black and eyes brown so she wasn't as recognizable if you saw a photo of her and ladybug next to her like I'm going to be doing with Adrien who had long messy hair as Chat Noir but has a comb-over fade and a brushed upfront while being a civilian.

I choose Dick and Tim as the ones to join Bruce since Tim is going to be the same age as the miraculous teens and is known to being as good as a detective as Bruce so he would be the best suit to help gather information. Dick was chosen as well because from what I've seen he has the best control of his emotions when the situation calls for it along with the fact that he has worked and befriended multiple hero teams along with founding the teen titans so would most likely understand the Paris Heroes better than batman or superman.

Also, I'm not the biggest fan of the ml x dc crossovers that just shove Dick aside and present him as just the sunshine of the bat family when he is a lot more than that. I'm not saying those stories are not good since I know they do that to focus on the main batboy they choose to have in that story, it's just that in my story I didn't want to do that (along with the fact that Nightwing is one of my favourite heroes).

Titan’s Truth Or Dare

Original Idea: Just thought of it in the shower.

Notes: (Masterlist)(By Character)(About Me) This is from a time when Cloudburst at least doesn’t know everyone’s real names. This could be considered how Cloudy and Robin initially get together in the “And They Were Schoolmates” two-parter or it could stand on its own. @batboys-and-other-messes @welovegroot I don’t know who’s on the Teen Titans team rn so I just kinda made it up for the sake of the story.

Rule Number One of Teen Titans’ Truth or Dare was Never ask for secret identities or anything that would risk that identity. Almost anything else was fair game.

I sat on the floor in the circle with the other Titans—Robin, Beast Boy, Raven, Superboy, Blue Beetle, and our “adult supervision” Starfire. Beast Boy bent forward after Blue Beetle dared him to order pizza for dinner and spun the bottle to see who would go next.

It landed on me for the first time of the night.

Everyone cheered. “Cloudburst! Cloudburst! Cloudburst!” they chanted—except Robin and Raven—pounding their fists on the floor in rhythm.

“Alright, alright!” I exclaimed to get them to zip it.

“Okay Cloudy,” Beast Boy said with excited pleasure. “Truth or dare?”

The thing about being on a team with teenaged superheroes was the general answer was “dare.” I was fairly certain Robin hadn’t told us a single truth about himself, but he had grapple-hook-swung from one side of the T of Titan’s Tower to the other with an open can of soda in one hand and not spilled it.

But I wasn’t that brave and really didn’t have much to hide.

“Truth,” I said.

Beast Boy’s eyebrows scrunched, like he was anticipating I’d say “dare” and he could dare me to do something involving my powers. Instead he just looked at me for several long seconds. I’d temporarily stumped him.

“Hmph,” he grunted, looking around at our team as though searching for ideas. He seemed to think of something, because he lit up. “Do you want to kiss Robin?”

The question was unexpected and took me aback. “Uh… I’ve never really thought about it,” I said.

Superboy and Robin were our lie-detectors. Superboy could tell from listening to heart rates, and Robin… well. He was Robin. He could just do stuff. No explanation. They glanced at each other and then at the group. “Telling the truth,” Superboy said. I nodded appreciatively to him. He gave me a happy grin. As the youngest Titan and newest member, he was definitely Mr. Sunshine. I thought he was adorable.

“Okay but it’s a yes or no question. Now that you’re thinking about it, do you want to?” Beast Boy pressed.

“No,” I said flatly, looking him dead in the eye. When I looked away, I muttered under my breath, “Not here in any event.” No one heard me. Or, if Superboy did, he didn’t indicate that he had.

“Telling the truth,” Robin said before Superboy could. I caught them sharing a look I couldn’t read and then leaned forward to spin the bottle.

It landed on Blue Beetle.

“Truth or dare?” I asked.

“Dare,” he said immediately.

I bit my lip. I really should have made mental lists of dares for these guys. “I dare you to breakdance in that open space right there,” I said.

Beast Boy leaned back in exasperation. “C’mon Cloudy! Your dares are always so safe!” he complained.

“Zip it, Beast Boy, or I will shred you,” I snarled.

He backed off immediately. I’d earned my stripes on the team and they knew I was the type to follow through with my threats. Usually my threats weren’t so violent but I didn’t need everyone constantly nagging at me.

Blue Beetle got to his feet and went over to the open space. He did a little, awkward breakdance and returned to the circle.

So the game went. I kept miraculously getting missed by the bottle—and I swear I wasn’t using my powers. They didn’t work that way.

Until Superboy spun the bottle and it landed on me. I trusted him more than my other teammates because they were all mischievous, but then I remembered that he and Robin were best friends and Robin was a bad influence on him.

“Truth or dare?” he asked.

“Truth,” I said.

“If someone dared Robin to kiss you, would you consent to that?” Superboy asked.

Robin smacked him in the arm.

“How come on the rare occasion that someone else answers truth they get asked about their music tastes but when I do I get asked about kissing a teammate?” I complained.

“Because you and Robin keep giving each other longing glances in the monitor room,” Raven observed.

“And we’re all sick of it,” Beast Boy added. I shot him a glare. He shut his mouth again.

I looked at Superboy. “For the sake of the game, sure,” I said. I spun the bottle.

Lo and behold, it landed on Robin. Everyone looked at me in expectation.

“Truth or dare?” I asked.

For the first time since I met him, Robin looked a bit apprehensive. I could practically see the debate going on in his head. After Superboy’s question, it would logically follow that I’d dare him to kiss me (yeah right—whose logic is that?). But if he answered truth, I could ask him if he wanted to kiss me the way Beast Boy had done.

While he sat in thoughtful silence, I kept my gaze level and thought of what to ask him for both options. I wasn’t going to ask him to do a triple backflip off the top of the Tower. Last time someone did that, he dislocated his shoulder when his grapple hook yanked him to a stop. But my brain wasn’t coming up with any good dares that Robin would find challenging. The last time I’d been foolish enough to answer “dare” I’d had to perform my go-to karaoke song (Holding Out for a Hero by Bonnie Tyler) in front of the team. Embarrassing much?

But it did give me an idea.

Robin finally sighed. “Tru—Dare,” he said, changing his mind.

I looked Robin dead in the eye. “Play the violin for us,” I said.

His entire body went rigid. “How did you know about that?”

“I dropped off that box to your room yesterday and I saw the violin case on your desk.”

He glared at me through the white eyes of his mask but got to his feet and left the room. He returned a few moments later with his violin. “Any preferences?” he asked me, not looking at anyone else. The implication was clear: I dared him, so I got to pick.

“Whatever your favorite piece to play is,” I answered.

Robin, still standing up, set the bow to his strings and began to play.

It was a piece I’d never heard before but instantly knew I wanted to hear again and again. The melody was almost haunting, and I was completely enraptured by it. I closed my eyes and listened to it, sitting utterly still. I had no idea how the other Titans were reacting, but I was being transported to another world by the song.

I opened my eyes. Everyone else looked impressed, but not entirely surprised. The look on Superboy’s face said something along the lines of, It’s Robin. Of course he knows how to play the violin, with more sarcasm than I’d ever seen on his face.

When Robin finished, he set the violin down and resumed his seat in the circle and spun the bottle.

Again, the game went on for a little bit with little to report on. Starfire got dared to burn a marshmallow and eat it with a s’more. She didn’t seem to mind it too much.

When the game was over because the pizza arrived—the delivery guy was used to showing up at Titan’s Tower at this point—everyone filed into the kitchen.

Robin grabbed my wrist and pulled me to a stop at the back of the group until everyone had gone without us. “‘Not here in any event’?” he quoted. “Does that imply that you would kiss me somewhere else?”

“I, uh, didn’t think anyone heard that,” I admitted.

“Superboy did and told me,” Robin said.

“Of course,” I muttered, rolling my eyes.

“Well?” he pressed.

I sighed. “I don’t know,” I said. “I never thought about it until you guys brought it up, but I certainly wouldn’t want to kiss you in front of the entire team.”

Robin looked thoughtful. “You enjoyed my violin.”

“It was beautiful. You play very well.”

“May I kiss you? To… express my thanks?”

“Uh… sure?”

Robin leaned closer to me and pressed his lips to mine. Both of our eyes closed. I tilted my head just a little for a better angle.

“GUYS! IT HAPPENED!” Superboy shouted.

Robin and I both sighed. “Teenagers,” I muttered sarcastically.

“I wholeheartedly agree,” Robin said.
