aaravi and miranda very much both wanted to actually, you know, have a family. its one of those things where you come from someplace so shitty and so terrible, that you just cannot imagine someone else going through that same thing, and you cannot bear the thought of making someone else go through the same thing. to be fair, they are both TERRIFIED of just repeating the past and ending up in the exact same loop that their parents did, terrified of just heaving back on the same generational trauma and wreck of a childhood, but there comes a point in being afraid of something where you just need to get rid of this fear. its too constant, its too forever, its too eternal. sitting through it and avoiding it isn't making it go away, and they already fucked up avoiding it by finding each other and loving each other, so dancing around the issue isn't helping. instead, what they mutually land on is just... a want to prove that fear wrong. a want to prove that fear wrong, to prove that they aren't doomed to be just a weapon and just a source of death in all its forms, that they can hold something in their hands and make it grow. best way to avoid repeating the past is to take responsibility by the leash, after all. they want to go back in time, to give themselves the childhood that they always missed, and the best way they figured to do that is to give that to someone else.

this is something that very much existed since their relationship started to get serious with each other, and something that's been in the background the entire time since, so its not like its a mystery or anything. if anything, they've been using this want as a motivation, as a need to keep going even at the worst of times. they will have this happy future. they will make it through this together. they will make it work. no more ifs, no more buts, no more doubt. stop living in the doubt and start acting as though their happy end is a foregone conclusion and something that they are going to have no matter what, give no room for fear or guilt or shame or depression or self hatred to sneak in. they will be happy. they will make someone else happy. they will be someplace safe, not just for themselves, but for their loved ones too. they will be good. they will be.

even after everything blows over (mainly from miranda's family, she is still crown princess and stepping away from that was never going to be an option they gave her), it still takes a few years for them to broach the topic of having a kid for-real. just to make sure everything's settled. just to make sure everything's safe.

they have virina later in life than some of their other friends or just in general, but they were planned and wanted for so long that the wait is worth it. the name, as i've mentioned, comes from aaravi. she knows her mom was a... complicated woman, she knows her own raising wasn't perfect and that there were things that she still cant fully forgive her mother for, but she had a hard life too. she too deserved better. despite it all, aaravi still loves her mom, despite despite despite. and so she does the best thing that she can to honor her mom, to honor her memory, to give her the life that she never had the same as aaravi herself, and gives it to virina. the mishra last name was a no-brainer already, miranda already look aaravi's last name and preferred being a mishra over a vanderbilt anyday.

years later, virina also earns the nickname of "froggy" - primarily because of their own love for the animal, constantly finding them and bringing them in from outside. likewise, miranda and aaravi decide to raise them genderless, and to let them decide for themselves how they want to be referred to when they're older.

virina doesn't really take much after either of their moms, though. mostly they're quiet, shy, keep to themselves. where both of their moms are brash and dominant, very confident in themselves and willing to bowl over quieter personalities, virina seldom speaks, and when they do, its soft-spoken. they get easily spooked and cry easily, especially when it comes to other people. they cling to their moms legs, hide behind them when other people come around, prefer the company of animals over other people, tend not to like new things or new people and greatly prefer sticking to their simple, easy routine. they just can't figure out other people, seemingly, not understanding them or how to make friends or even what's appropriate or not to say in a conversation.

this isn't to say they aren't deeply intelligent and curious. they quickly learn to love venturing outside with their moms, playing in the garden or chasing bugs and frogs. they come in with sticks and rocks, make mud potions, try to build things out of sticks and befriend birds. they prefer books over people, ending up much more of a bookworm than either of their moms ever were, and ends up a very big nerd as they get older. theyre close and affectionate with the friends they do make, but this is a small handful of their very most trusted, and they never get much better at figuring out social norms.

in time, they lean a little bit more towards the femme side of things, growing their hair out long and liking long, swishy skirts that they can spin and sway over and over, that doesnt cling too tight to their legs. they end up needing glasses, and end up picking a pair thats large and circular, making their eyes seem all the more owlish. they settle on they/she, but never have particularly strong opinions about gender regardless. they can be blunt and quick to frustration, especially if they feel people arent understanding them, and are forever going to be deeply embarrassed over how their moms dote on them. i very much see them getting intensely interested and starting to study either linguistics, literature, history, geology, or any biology that takes them closer to the marshes and wetlands that they love.

they never think very much about how one of their moms used to be a princess, heir to a kingdom. beyond an instance as a kid that ended with them dropping a training sword repeatedly and crying, they never get very interested in following the slayer line of work. they fuss over small stakes, have their moms grate on them sometimes in both of their old ways, and they live a normal life.

Monster Prom Fantasy AU

Based on the costumes from the auditorium. most of them are written so you could imagine them to be humans or to still be a fantasy society of monsters— whatever floats your boat, I go back and forth myself.

THE PALACE

The Princess Miranda: The youngest of the king’s daughters. Adored by everyone in the kingdom (whether they like it or not). She is rarely ever seen, but people are always talking about her— what she’s wearing, what her favorite things are, who she will marry, what would be the best way to kidnap and/or kill her…

Count de Lioncourt: Another noble, who has only taken up residence in the palace very recently. He is supposedly related to the royal family, but it’s unclear how. He doesn’t want to be king— any fool can be king— but he definitely wouldn’t mind having a comfortable position by a monarch’s ear, safely away from the public eye. And the poor sheltered princess could certainly use someone to help her make… well-informed decisions.

Ser (Dame?) Schmidt: First name Victoria. The newest recruit to the knights of the kingdom; she is very, very eager to work her way up through the ranks. Above all else, she is loyal to the princess.

THE FOREST

The Sting in Yellow: A mysterious, quiet swordsman who travels the wood. They strike fear into the hearts of all who see them… although no one is really sure what exactly they do.

Bruyn the Green: Long ago, a terrible dragon dwelt in the forest. Every year, in mid-April, it would approach the kingdom and ask tribute of the people in form of their crops and livestock. At last, the dragon was slain, but the whereabouts of its body are unknown and legend says it merely slumbers beneath the earth, and will one day rise from the dead.

In the heart of the forest, there sits an enormous tree. It has no name, but according to myth, it dates back to a time before we walked the earth. There once was a curious wolf, who lived in a pack with his brothers. One day, despite their warning, he strayed too far from the rest of the group and became lost in the woods. The wolf spent many nights trying to find his way back to his home, not eating or sleeping until he eventually expired of exhaustion. Roots and wood grew over him that night, and he became a beautiful tree, home to birds and squirrels and insects of all types. At night, the spirit of the wolf leaves the tree to continue his search, but must return before daylight. It is said that the whistling of the wind through the leaves is his mournful howl, crying out for a family long since dead.

THE LANDS BEYOND

Amira, Mistress of the Flames: An evil sorceress in eternal conflict with both the Demon King and His Highness King Vanderbilt. From her tower in the outlands, she controls an army of flaming skeleton warriors and screaming fire spirits. It is rumored that she can scry through any flame anywhere in the world. So the next time you think about lighting up your fireplace, ask yourself: are you really that chilly?

The Demon King: Son of criminals exiled from the kingdom, the man now known as the Demon King grew up in a harsh, inhospitable region of the outlands. By the time he was six, he had killed the leaders of the three bandit groups who controlled the area and formed his own army of scoundrels and brutes. Today, the lands beyond the kingdom are in a constant power struggle between the Demon King’s hordes and the legions belonging to the Mistress of Flames. The leaders of the two factions hate each other with burning passion, but they hate the King Vanderbilt even more.

The Automated Man of Culeicester: The Automated Man is all that remains of Culeicester, an ancient city of wondrous scientific marvels located in what is now the distant badlands of the continent. The Automated Man still remains in the city’s ruins after untold years, continuing to fulfill the purpose for which he was constructed: To tend to the mythically beautiful Gardens of Culeicester. Of course, the land is now so arid that only the hardiest plants requiring the least water remain, but still the Automated Man works, untiring, as the lone bearer of all Culeicester’s lost knowledge. If you can find him (and convince him to step away from his plants), he is a powerful asset.

THE ROGUES

Vera Oberlin: The greatest assassin you’ve never heard of. Those who are unfortunate enough to know of her existence say that she was raised in the mountains by panthers who taught her the savage ways of their claws and teeth. They say she has a city of gold underneath the city streets made from the riches of those she has killed. They say no one has ever seen her face and lived to tell the tale. Whether these things are true, no one can say for sure, but the mysterious Vera seems to be on a meteoric rise through the kingdom’s underworld. The suspicion of most in the know is that she has her eye on the crown.

Doctor Geist: You can call her Polly. A physician and mixer of medicines who recently arrived to the kingdom. Her past is unknown, as she gives a different answer every time. She is quite cheerful, and despite the nature of her profession (or perhaps because of it), has a very carefree attitude towards death, usually only reacting to harm coming to her patients with mild surprise or disappointment. She tends to be rather… experimental with her procedures and concoctions, and self-tests liberally. There are rumors of a connection to the criminal underworld.

Zed, Scribe of the Zoites: An energetic young woman, the church Zed was raised in encouraged her to go on a pilgrimage and learn the ways of the world after she became a bit overzealous in her duties of cataloging information on the group’s members. Because of her close connection to her god, she possesses second sight and can see the alternate paths people’s lives may take, which she dutifully and eagerly inscribes (along with most things she sees) on the scrolls she carries with her. Being a prophet isn’t all fun and games, though— Zed is often tormented by visions of awful futures or dreadful pasts where her god enacts terrible punishment on the world. She is motivated by desire for knowledge and for new experiences of any kind; she wants to learn about and chronicle as much as she can and isn’t about to let silly things like “morality” or “boundaries” keep her from that goal.

Hi! This is where I have info on what I write, who I write, and what I am comfortable writing/what you can request! If you have any questions feel free to ask me!

This is a 100% SFW blog, so no NSFW writing at all. I’m not comfortable doing that for age/pet regression.

(( In a gesture that will surprise absolutely no one: I don’t consider Miranda’s canon VA to be what my Miranda sounds like. I suppose it does work for canon Miranda and her design, but when it comes to the redesign... Well, it just doesn’t work.

Namely, because Miranda doesn’t exactly have the same vocal setup as a human. I still need to more fully decide on how exactly it works in all of the fine details, but her vocal cords include a large, complex organ in her chest that partially extends up her throat, the existence of which partially explains why Miranda’s chest and neck both are so much larger than that of a human’s. Merfolk are pretty big, even if Miranda’s still short and small by merfolk standards — and they’re especially good at long-distance conversation through a liquid medium. They have a wider range of sound than a human, including sounds that are too high for human ears to hear, as well as sounds that are too low for human ears to hear, but most of their sounds do occupy the lower range, for the reasons discussed above.

So I like to imagine my Miranda actually has a fairly deep voice? Hers is more smooth than growl-y, and speaks with a lot of confidence to her words, which is a rather far departure from the more canon-typical voice! I wouldn’t really know how to find a VA to match her, not without mixing something up for her in specific, just because it’s really not a human-sounding voice at all, more like what you might imagine a crocodile and a tiger would sound like in combination, with a little bit of whale sprinkled in for flavor, if any could speak.

There’s also the matter of Miranda’s accent. She does try to hide hers, to more closely match how the people around her sound and how they pronounce words, but you’ll notice that if she ever gets really excited or really upset, she’ll start to gain her accent back again, as she’s not putting in as much effort to hide it. This is another one that’s complicated to explain, just due to us not having anything else to compare it to, but I always liken it to music? As in, she’ll pull out some syllables into sounds that almost sound like musical notes, or she’ll add in little trills and chirrs to make the sounds “dance”, or she’ll switch up how she stresses her words to make them form patterns, like she’s forcing everything she says to take on iambic pentameter. There’s also quite often a lot of growls to her words - where, how they’re normally pronounced, you can feel them vibrate in the throat, but she’ll go a step further and actually growl in her chest, producing a deeper and richer sound. Miranda actually tends to speak a lot more “from her chest” than the others around her, which is partially explained by just how she’s making those words, but also by force of habit and how she’s used to speaking.

That said, however — Miranda really does try to hide all of these little quirks and things about her that make listening to her speak unique. Largely because this is the first time any landfolk are speaking to a merfolk, and Miranda gets REALLY uncomfortable if people make a show of not being able to understand her or acting weird because of how she sounds. Merfolk, being so vocal in nature, tend to really err towards making sure they’re understood, and especially as a royal, Miranda cannot STAND to have herself be misunderstood or misinterpreted. It’s also why she doesn’t actually introduce herself using her real name, and instead settles with “Miranda Vanderbilt” - because most landfolk don’t have the vocal cords to say her name properly, and it’s less rude to just call her something entirely different than it is to mispronounce her title and her real name.

Day 11: Holding Hands

this one sucks but oh well i finally got around to writing some miridami content reeeeallllly hope i'll write more in the future because i love these two so much, but for how we got this :)

“By the way, my dads want you to come over for dinner tomorrow.”

Miranda paused, just for a second, before readjusting herself and putting her fork down on the plate. Damien, who sat across from her, refused to make eye contact. His eyes bore into the lava cake that was in front of him, as he chewed on his fork.

She smiled as she placed her hands into her lap. “That sounds lovely! I’m sure Daddy would love the idea; I’m not sure what they want to discuss, seeing as the peace treaty between our kingdoms still has a few decades until it expires, but I’m sure whatever concerns they have will-”

“No no, you’re not getting it. They want to meet you.” 

She frowned. “Damien, I’m sure you know that I’ve met them plenty of times. Do they not remember all the pleasantries that were exchanged at the many galas?”

“I mean, yeah, but they wanna meet you. Like, the real you, outside of galas and parties and nice small talk. They wanna meet Miranda Vanderbilt, not Princess Miranda, the third daughter of the Merkingdom or whatever.”

She paused again. “Oh.”

Damien propped his feet on the small cafe table, nearly toppling over their shared strawberry lemonade. A staff member of the cafe they were at would’ve said something, if not for the time Damien stabbed one of them.  “Yeah, ‘oh’. Anyways, so I was thinking of like, saying Brian got into an accident or something. Or maybe Zoe can drag us into some eldritch shit. Or maybe we can ask the Coven to do some magic shit to get us out of it!”

“Excuse me?”

“All I’m saying is our options are open. As long as we don’t go to that fucking dinner, I’ll be happy.”

Miranda furrowed her brow. “And why wouldn’t we go? I think having dinner with your fathers will be wonderful!”

“Yeahhhhh no. It will not be fun, it’ll be the exact opposite of that. Like, imagine all of the fluffy unicorns and rainbows and sprinkles, and then condense it into a small ball and destroy it. That’s what dinner with them will be like.”

She giggled, and cut off another piece of her slice of strawberry shortcake. “Damien, dear, I think you’re being a tad bit dramatic.”

“Wha-no I’m not! Miri, you don’t know them like I do!”

She tilted her head, and offered a smile. “What will be so bad about it, then?” She reached over the table, and placed her hand on Damien’s, patting it sweetly. “I personally don’t see any problems with doing a proper meeting.”

It was always easy to make Damien flustered. He pulled his hand away, sputtering and refusing to meet her eyes. Her smile grew more.

“I don't get it, Miri. They’re gonna ask you questions, and it’s gonna be embarrassing, trust me. This is them seeing if you’re like, a good fit for me or some shit. As if I can’t pick my own partners just fine…” The last part was left muttered, and he shook his head. “Point is, it’s not gonna be enjoyable or a walk in the park. It’s gonna be the worst thing in your life, the lowest point, the worst fucking thing imaginable.”

“Surely it can’t be as bad as what my daddy would have you do,” she insisted. Damien barked out a laugh.

“What, fighting against ten of your army’s strongest fighters, and saving you from an evil dungeon or whatever? Sounds like a fucking dream!” He twirled the fork around his fingers. “Would love it if my dads did that. But nooooo, they ‘need to get to know my partner’ and ‘want to see if I’m happy’ and ‘support my decision and opinion but still at least want to form their own judgement’, or whatever the fuck they said.”

“Sounds like they just love and care for their only son,” she cooed, causing Damien to scoff and bite into his cake. She clasped her hands together. “I think I should go! Besides, do you really doubt our relationship so much that you don’t want me to meet them?”

“What?” Damien looked up, seemingly alarmed by this. He sat back up, his feet put back down on the ground, with his plate back on the table.  “No, of course not! I mean, I just really like what we have going, and I don’t know if trying to move into something more is something we both want. Not that I don’t want it, I mean, I just know the whole ‘meeting the parents’ thing is stressful and sorta makes things a bigger deal than they actually are. I don’t know how you wanna label this thing we got going on, or even if you want to, but actually going to have dinner with my dads is like a big step, and I know I shouldn’t make a big deal out of it, ‘s not like they’ll actually do anything bad and we can take our relationship at any speed we want to, but-”

Miranda hummed, interrupted her boyfriend. “I think,” she started, “that we should go. I think it will be fun! Your parents are lovely people and I think they will love my company! Who wouldn’t? I’m a joy to be around!” The serfs around her nodded feverishly in agreement. She left an outstretched hand on the table, and gave Damien an expectant look. “And if you are so worried about our ‘label’ as you call it, then we can discuss it afterwards. Okay?”

Damien stared down at her hand, and then looked back up at her. She gave a patient smile. He sighed, and placed his hand in her’s. “Alright,” he said. “We’ll go to that stupid dinner. But afterwards I get to use your hairspray to make a flamethrower.” He then got a little sheepish, and added, “your’s works better than mine does. Makes cooler and bigger flames.”

Miranda Vanderbilt:

“Alright, I’m ready!” Miranda smiles brightly at your reflection in the mirrow, her hands clapping together once as she turns towards the room’s exit. “I’ll see you in the car, honey!”

“Okay!” You speak out as you try to apply some mascara, your face making a weird expression in the process. “I’ll be in-”

She cuts you off before you can finish, her form disappearing in the hallway. “I love you so much!”

You giggle at her words, your head shaking before you continue to apply your mascara. “I’ll be in the car in a bit!”

Silence follow that exchange, to the point where you’d almost believe Miranda already left the house, only for her to quietly walk back into the room with a stern look on her face.

“I said...” She takes a breath in, mimicking her ealier tone of voice with a slight hint of irritation in it. “I love you so much...!”

You snort at her, finishing applying your mascara. “Okay, and I’ll be in the car in a bit.”

She breathes in and out sharply, her eyes almost glaring at you as she starts clapping each syllable of her words. “I! Love! You! So! Much!”

“Yeah, I heard you, honey.” You use your hands to make sure your hair looks nice, your eyes flickering at her reflection in the mirror. “Why are you saying it so much?”

“Because you’re not saying it back!” She huffs, her arms crossed over her chest. “You know I can execute you for breaking my heart, right?”

“I’m breaking your heart?” You can’t help but chuckle, your head turning towards her with a soft look in your eyes. “Aw, babe!”

“Nuh-huh! Don’t ‘babe’ me!” She rises a finger in the air, taking a step back when you approach with pluckered lips. “I won’t forgive you until you say it back.”

“Alright, alright... I love you much more.” She gives out satisfied grin just as you peck her lips with yours, your head shaking at her. “Can we go in the car now?”

“Yes.” She stretches her arm so you can grab it, the two of you walking out of the room together. “But don’t think I won’t take my revenge for this.”

You just chuckle as an answer. Miranda always had a need for a dramatic scene.

Damien LaVey:

A giggle escapes through your lips when his lips tickle your cheek, his arms wrapped around you giving you a tighter squeeze as he speaks. “I love you.”

You hum as a response, still gigling from the ticklish sensation his lips leave against your skin. He takes a pause seconds later, his mind having seem to realized that you haven’t answered him yet.

“I love you.”

“I know.” You gently pat his cheek with your hand, slowly getting out of his grip so you can continue the organization of a shelf you were doing before he interrupted you. “But I’m busy, babe.”

His expression hardens for a moment, his arms crossing over his chest. “So you’re mad at me.”

“What?” You genuinely blink in confusion, turning your eyes to him in an instant. “I’m not mad at you.”

He quirks an eyebrow, not believing your words for a second. “What did I do?”

“Nothing!” You chuckle, turning your attention back to the shelf so you can swap two things. “I’m just busy re-organizing, that’s all.”

“... okay.” A smile of relief takes over his lips a few seconds later, his lips finding their way back to your left cheek so he can press a kiss on your skin. “I love you.”

Your lips stretch into a teasing grin. “Yeah, I know.”

He gives out a sigh of frustration. “You’re mad at me.”

“I’m not...!” You give out a sound of disbelief, looking back at him once more. “I’m not mad at you!”

Your words only seem to bring a wave of confusion upon his face. “Well, if you’re not mad at me, then what’s the problem?”

“I told you, there’s no problem!” You notice that he doesn’t quite believe you, your head tilting at him with a genuine smile. “I’m not mad at you and there’s no problem, I promise.”

“Well... then...” He closes and opens his eyes a few times just as you turn your attention back to the shelf, his confusion increasing with each second that passes by. “Why won’t you say ‘I love you’ back?”

You stay silent after his question, humming a song under your breath as you swap objects. Damien squints his eyes at you, slowly realizing that you’re playing with him.

“Hey.” He interrupts your work once more, gently turning your head to him. “Kiss me.”

You rapidly press your lips against him, giving him a smile right after. “There. Happy?”

“No.” He shakes his head, looking into your eyes with a determined look on his face. “I love you.”

Your smile turns into a teasing grin, the mere sight of it turning his expression to a frustrated one. “I know.”

He gives out a desperate groan as soon as you pronounce those words. “You’re driving me insane!”

You give out a yelp of your own when he roughly grabs you into his arms, a laugh coming out of your mouth when he runs and drags you into another room.

He’ll make you say it back no matter what, even if it takes him all day to do so.

Scott Howl:

“Ah!” Scott rapidly gulps the last bite of his breakfast when he looks at the time, his body soon standing up from his chair and grabbing a nearby coat of his. “I’m almost late; I gotta go!”

“Okay!” You take a bite of your own breakfast, making a wave-movement in his direction with your fork. “Bye bye!”

He flashes you a grin as he steps out of the room. “Love you, bye!”

You hold back a grin from your place. “Bye...!”

His body freezes and his smile drops, a sad expression rapidly taking over his features as he takes a few steps back into the room. “(Y/N)? I love you...”

Your lips form a sweet smile, your cheeks full of food. “Yeah, I know!”

His eyes sadden at your words, and he takes a few more steps back towards the table. “But I’m leaving...”

“Yeah, I know! Have fun at work!” You make anothe wave-movement with your fork, gently urging him to leave. “Go, go! You’re gonna be late.”

You feel your heart drop as soon as you see the tears fill up his eyes, his bottom lip quivering as he whispers out his next set of words. “You don’t love me back?”

Regret washes over you in mere seconds, your hands already letting go of your breakfast.

“Oh, no, Scott!” You rush over to him as fast as you can, your arms wrapping around him in a tight hug. “I love you more than anything! You know that, right?”

“Yeah?” You hum at his question, his arms hugging you back even tighter. “Then why weren’t you saying it back?”

“Forget about it, I was just trying to do a stupid prank.” You slightly move back to be able to look into his eyes, your hand gently holding his right cheek. “I love you. Now go to work or you’re gonna be late.”

“Okay!” A wide smile takes over his lips just as he presses them against yours for a quick kiss, the action making you giggle. “See you later!”

You slowly shake your head at him leaving in a rush, the werewolf’s tears now completely dry when you witness him step out of your home a few seconds later.

In the end, you just couldn’t do this to him.

Liam de Lioncourt:

“I’m gonna go to the store real quick.” You press your lips against Liam’s temple as you speak out those words, grabbing your car keys on your way to the door. “I’ll see you in a bit.”

“Hm.” He barely reacts to your actions, his eyes preoccupied with reading the words poured on his book pages. “Love you.”

“Okay, bye!”

You close the door behind you with a grin on your face, already wondering the kind of face your boyfriend might be showcasing right in this moment. Liam, on the other end, simply blinks a few times in confusion, his eyes looking back at the closed entrance door with an unreadable look on his face.

A light of realization passes through his eyes a few seconds later, his lips forming the hint of a grin soon after.

Oh, you wanna play this game? Well, let’s see who will win.

“I’m back!” You walk into your home with a bag in your hand, your eyes rapidly spotting your boyfriend still reading his book on the same couch’s spot. “Did you miss me?”

Liam slowly turn a page with his fingers, his eyes not even flickering towards your form once. “You’ve only been gone for twenty minutes, (Y/N).”

You give out a frown, wondering if he even noticed that you didn’t say the precious little words back earlier. 

“Hey.” You sit down next to him, dropping your bag on the floor as you give him a grin. “I love you.”

His own lips stretch into a small smile; in the end, you couldn’t even do your prank for more than thirty minutes, and you were gone most of that time. 

“I know.”

Your expression drops, your lips immediately forming a pout. “Liam...”

“Hm?” He looks back at you with his head tilted, a teasing light in his eyes. “What is it?”

You suddenly seem to realize the reason behind his expression, your pout worsening as a result. “Why are you messing with me?”

“Why are you surprised? You’re the one who messed with me in the first place.” He slowly closes his book, turning his full attention to you. “What? Want me to say it back?”

You slowly nod, your cheeks heating up when he approaches his face to yours.

“Try again tomorrow.”

You give out a gasp just as he re-opens his book, the vampire going back to his reading despite your fist gently hitting his arm. “You’re so mean!”

He only gives out a grin as a response; this is what you get for trying to prank him.

Polly Geist:

“Bye, (Y/N)!” Polly screams out those words as she runs down the stairs, her eyes flickering towards your form sitting at the kitchen table on her way to the door. “I’m going to a friend’s party; I’ll be back later!”

“Okay...!” You look up from your paperwork to give her a grin, trying your best not to let it seem teasing. “I’ll see you later!”

She extends her neck back so she can look at you a little longer, the rest of her body continuing to walk out of the room’s view. “Love you!”

You chuckle just as she disappears in the hallway, your words coming out a little louder so she can hear you. “Okay, have fun!”

The rapid steps she was taking towards the house’s entrance abruptly take a turn back towards the kitchen, a pouty Polly rapidly arriving into view.

“Hey.” She speaks in a sad tone, her eyes looking at you with an expected glint in them. “I love you!”

You have to bite your tongue to stop yourself from saying it back, trying your best to keep your eyes glued to your paperwork. “Okay! I’ll see you later, babe.”

“(Y/N), I love you!”  Polly takes a few steps into the room, a slight hint of suspicion taking over her mind when she notices your lips twitching into a grin. “Why aren’t you saying it back?”

“Huh?” You try to look at her with a dumbfounded look, already knowing your prank is failing when you see her lips stretching into a wide grin. “Saying what back-”

“I love you!”

You give out a yelp when she throws herself at you, pushing the two of you on the kitchen floor as a result, and you can’t help but let out a chuckle despite the pain of such a violent fall. The laughter increases when Polly presses her lips against your face over and over, her arms bringing you close into a hug.

“I love you! I’m not letting you go until you say it back! I love you!”

“Okay, okay!” You gently push her head back from yours, your eyes staring into hers as you give out a fond smile. “I love you.”

Her grin stretches onto her cheeks just as she presses one last kiss against your cheek. “Thank you!”

She frees you soon after, her feet rapidly taking her towards the entrance door while you continue to chuckle on the floor. You should have known Polly would manage to take the words out of you... she’s even more stubborn than you could ever be.

Vera Oberlin:

Vera rapidly types a message on her phone as she walks into the main living area of your home, her body making a temporary stop next to the couch you’re sitting at.

“Got a meeting in town, so I’ll be going.”

“Okay.” You barely look up from your own phone, your eyes glued to your screen as you try to hold back a smile. “Make sure you come back alive.”

She gives out a scoff, her lips forming a small grin as she walks away. “Can’t promise anything.”

You look at her back just as she reaches the door, your eyes gluing themselves back to your phone when you see her hand reach the door knob.

“I’ll see you later.” She opens the door with one hand while simultaneously typing with the other, already taking a step outside of your apartment. “Love you.”

You bite the inside of your cheek, hoping it’ll be enough to stop you from smiling. “Okay, bye!”

Just as the door was about to shut close, Vera’s hand grabs its handle and slowly pushes it back open, a quirked eyebrow on her face. You look back at her as soon as you notice the shift in the atmosphere, trying your best to showcase a confused expression.

“Um... bye?”

“... bye?” Vera’s upper lip slightly twitches, her head tilting at you. “I said ‘I love you’.”

“Okay...?”

“What, you can’t say it back?” Her eyes squint at you, slight frustration taking over her features. “It’s common sense, hun. If I say it, you say it back.”

You give out a snort, your lips breaking into a teasing grin. “Okay. I’ll see you later.”

“Well, maybe you won’t.” Her frustration increases when she realizes that you’re playing her, not quite wanting to play this game with you today. “This meeting could end badly. I could never come back.”

“Even if you die, you’ll find a way to come back here.” You dismiss her words with a small movement of hand, your eyes glued back to your screen. “You’re gonna be late, by the way.”

She glares at you from her place, her frustration now fully swirling inside her chest. “I hate you.”

A laugh comes out of you just as she steps out with a pout on her lips, your mouth forming an O shape as you give out your next words. “Aw, Vera! I’m sorry, I love you!”

You only hear muffled words through the walls, making your laughter turn into chuckles. You know you’re going to regret pulling this little prank on her; after all, Vera always finds the perfect revenge right on time.

Good luck if you write any sort of crime fiction or horror.

“Do you need to check a scene for realism?” “The scene I’m writing is a murder.” “I know.”

Really though, Damien wants to help however he can (even if ‘checking the arson scene for realism’ is his favorite.)

If you can’t think of a word for a scene he’s already going to grab some human dictionary out of the pits of hell to give you the right word.

(The guy is in hell because he used his huge vocabulary to correct people in Youtube comments like an asshole- it works out well for you, at least, because he can’t spend more than ten seconds listening to you try and remember the word before snidely telling you what to use. Damien throws him right back into the fire the second you’re done.)

He’s also a very good beta reader.

He cries very easy at all that soft shit in movies and he isn’t any less responsive to your writing.

Sometimes you’ll give him an unfinished draft to gauge how interesting it is to read and he comes back with red eyes and drapes his arms over you all pouty.

“That one wasn’t even sad, it was just friends to lovers-” “Yeah, exactly...”

(He bounces back pretty quick when you tell him you’re writing a fight scene.)

Very protective of your work- sometimes if he wants to punch somebody he’ll just scroll until he finds a hate comment on your writing and he’s off to cure his boredom.

Also promotes it everywhere

He’s not very good at keeping his mouth shut, so he’ll be bragging about you and how talented you are whenever he gets the chance.

If you tell him not to he’ll hold it back, he loves you and doesn’t wanna make you uncomfortable, but if you’re okay with it he wins every one-upping contest through bragging about how talented you are (and how happy he is to be with you I mean what-)

When you’re writing he likes sitting beside you and listening to the scribble of pen on paper or the clicking and clacking of the keyboard while you type.

His tail always finds itself curled around your leg or waist (or even wrapped around one of your arms, which... Gets in the way on occasion.)

You’re pretty sure he’s not aware of it when it happens, but every time you ask he rolls his eyes and acts like he did it on purpose to get your attention.

... Despite the blush you can see on his face and the way he looks away when he sees that yes, his tail is coiled around your dominant arm.

Miranda

Miranda’s first question would be if you’ve written anything about her.

If you have, she wants to read it.

If you haven���t, she wants you to and will probably offer some kind of gift if you do.

Her second question would be why you don’t have serfs to write for you.

It’s endearing how confused she is about why you’d let your hands get sore writing when you could just have someone else do it for you.

After a lot of explaining she concedes that “I suppose it’s alright... As long as that’s what makes you happy.” She’s not a fan of the thought but you seem to like it so she simply must give in to see you smile.

Once that all gets cleared up, she becomes absolutely infatuated with your writing.

The process of creating it, reading it, everything about your writing is suddenly fascinating to her.

She, like Damien, enjoys sitting with you while you write, but she’ll watch the whole time.

She likes to watch the letters appear, knowing that they’re coming straight out of your mind and your hands.

Sometimes she’ll try and guess which word you’re writing before you finish it.

(She doesn’t usually get it right, she can’t think of one fast enough to beat your speedy hands and when she can her guesses are always... Very different in style compared to what you’re writing. It’s adorable.)

Sometimes if you’re at a loss of where to go with a story, she’ll try and help you think of a direction to take.

Her suggestions are usually things like wiping out all the bird people, or punishing a character for planning a surprise assassination, or making a poorly planned and designed to fail coup, or-

Yeah, you can’t really use any of these in your slice of life story.

You thank her for the suggestions, though, and some of her more wild ones help get you to your next inspiration, so you consider it absolutely worth it.

(You would’ve considered it worth it regardless, though, listening to Miranda get excited talking about something is always worth it. Even if those things are... Dubious.)

She loves reading your work once you finish it, the way you write can conjure such vivid images in her head and she adores how clear everything is.

She requires all of her serfs read it too.

And anyone else she can convince.

She makes special waterproof copies of everything, too, so she can get everyone in her kingdom to read your expert writing.

She just really wants to share everything you create and her favorite method of getting people to do things is obligation.

Sometimes she’ll tell you she wishes there was a princess character with her personality that the main character fell in love with. It’s adorable. Yes you’ve written her her own self-insert stories with your characters. You couldn’t say no to the request.

Plus she squeals and kisses your cheek when she reads about the beautiful, pink-haired princess who marries her favorite of the main character. That’d make anything feel worthwhile.

He’s never been a big fan of swimming until he met you, but now it’s one of his favorite things. With cannon balls, seeing how deep he can dive, and splash wars, he’s more than willing to go swimming with you and damn do you look good in a bathing suit

Swimming with Damien isn’t quite as peaceful as it usually is in your kingdom, but surprise kisses and being randomly tugged into the water is some fun you just get used to 

Also: Water. Gun. Fights you almost always win and he’s highkey jealous, but you’re too pretty to get mad at

Flicks your pointy ears when he teases you 

Finds it absolutely adorable how your ears perk up when you’re happy and turn a deeper shade of blue when you blush 

The first time he saw your ears turn a darker shade of blue and tilt down as you blushed he would not shut up about it, and went out of his way to make you blush just to see it again

He’s possessive because he knows he isn’t the only guy heads over heels for you, and will not hesitate to fight anyone who tries flirting with his girl 

Usually keeps an arm around you just to make it extra clear that your his

If any suitors come for your hand, or worse, the Interdimensional Prince, he will absolutely wreck them  

His dads were proud of their little prince catching the attention of a princess

Yeah, she thought you were gorgeous from the start, but it took her awhile to realize “oh shit I caught feelings for the water nymph princess”

Either through more underhanded methods or pure talent and charm, she managed to out-do any of your possible suitors and you became an official couple… looking back on it, she definitely used some connections to get your suitors… out of the way

Vera isn’t one to get jealous, but she knows a beautiful princess like yourself is bound to catch some attention, which makes her a bit more possessive than usual 

Even though she isn’t royalty herself, she spoils you like she is one 

She buys you water based stuff that reminds you of your kingdom, like pearl earrings, necklaces with little shells on them, and traditional food from your kingdom

She’s never been a big fan of swimming, and it takes your puppy dog eyes at 110% power to convince her to swim with you

You are the one person who’s ever gotten away with splashing Vera and lived to tell the tale

Her snakes are more susceptible to your pouts and pleading eyes than she is, so if she tries to say no to you, she has to deal with them nagging her too

He’s never been a big fan of swimming or water in general because of how much sun that involves, but seeing how happy you are splashing and diving through the water is enough to make him come with you

You end up going to bodies of water at night or ones that are in shady, maybe cavernous areas so he doesn’t have to deal with the sun

He prefers relaxing in the water rather than really playing in it, but your pretty eyes and cute smile can usually induce him into a few splashing wars

Pointy ears club! Liam didn’t really see it as anything special, but the way your ears perked up and wiggled happily as you pointed it out made him automatically agree that yes, it was adorable that your ears were similar to his

Calls you dewdrop. It was a pet name that he’d been calling you in his head for awhile and it just slipped out one day. You seemed to like it, so he continued to use it from then on

He likes to hear about your kingdom and would be more than willing to visit it, albeit a little nervous and awkward

He lowkey has no idea how he ended up dating a princess and he does his best to spoil you however he can

Is easily flustered by how beautiful you are. Like all you have to do is smile or giggle and he’s fighting to hide a blush, and it seems like no matter how many times he reminds you how gorgeous you are, you easily forget the effect you have on others him, specifically

I mean you’re both beautiful princesses from water based kingdoms, so it was basically a match made in heaven  

Chances are you actually grew up knowing each other, so it was a friendship that evolved to a romantic relationship

Both of your family’s were more than happy at the prospect of forming an alliance between them, so they were very supportive of the relationship they’re already planning the wedding

You both love swimming so visits to the beach or cavernous lagoons become regular dates. Whether you’re diving far under the water or splashing like kids up above, it’s always a good time

You both understand the struggle of finding water-proof make-up that’s actually water proof, so you can suffer together

You have very similar tastes so shopping sprees together are very common, and so is sharing each other’s clothes and jewelry 

You buy each other cute plushies of your favorite sea creatures 

Miranda is a bit oblivious to others trying to flirt with you, but that doesn’t happen too much because… well… all it took was one little incident with the Interdimensional Prince for everyone to realize you don’t flirt with Miranda’s princess

You visit each other’s kingdoms all the time too. Miranda’s family is always thrilled to see you and make sure you always feel very pampered there

You two are such a sunshine couple together, it’s almost too cute

When you’re both really happy, your ears wiggle as happily as his tail and it is so p r e c i o u s

You both love swimming and plan to go to some body of water whenever the weather is good. He’s always down for a water balloon fight or just splashing around. He tries to be really careful though, because the last thing he’d want to do is accidentally hurt you

His fur is super fluffy after its been wet and then dried, which makes cuddling 10x better

He literally cannot get over how pretty you are?? The first time he met you he just stopped and stared because how??? Is that even possible??

Reminds you of how beautiful you are all the time because he doesn’t ever want you to forget it

He had the biggest grin and happiest tail wag when he got to see your kingdom for the first time. It didn’t even matter that he’s not royalty because he was too adorable for your family to say no to 

He doesn’t pick up on flirting easily, but when he does notice some suitor trying to get his precious princess, he’ll get you out of the situation asap

When she gets drunk and brags about how her girlfriend is a hot af water nymph princess most people don’t believe her until they actually see you two together

And due to how often Polly gets drunk and brags about her amazing princess, this incident happens more often than you think

She absolutely adores your pointy ears and literally everything about you because you’re so gorgeous. She lowkey will not shut up about it

Is absolutely down to visit your kingdom, especially to see what the parties are like there

And she loves swimming almost as much as you do! All you have to do is breathe the word beach, and she’s already packing her bags

Very mischievous in the water, comes up from below and splash attacks you a lot

Chicken fights definitely happen a lot and you two definitely win a lot 

With you and Polly teamed up, you become well known for your beach parties and water related pranks

Will personally fight whoever tries to flirt with you. By the time Polly is done verbally destroying them, they’ll be lucky to have even one shred of pride left

Can I request some headcanons for Miranda Vanderbilt, Damien LaVey and The Interdimensional Prince (there are prob more Royal characters but I forgot so-) with a super fxking charismatic, playful & flirty arranged marriage S/O who’s actually not playful & flirty around anybody but them? Sksksk *insert Character* is just talking to their friends like “bla bla bla S/O is so silly-“ and their friends are like,, “You mean the scarily apathetic yet charming Royal?? Them?? They’re silly???”

Miranda Vanderbilt

* Miranda honestly would be very oblivious when it comes to you being flirty with her. She would believe that's completely natural behavior and she would start flirting with others, thinking it was okay, and would only stop if you sat her down to explain it to her why it wasn't exactly okay. * When people would tell her that you act differently around them, she would be confused. How could that be? She had never seen you act like what they are saying you are acting. Did they know that lying to royalty was a crime? She wants them executed, immediately!

Damien LaVey

* Damien would be completely happy to flirt back with you. Honestly, the flirtier the better. He has some killer lines that he wants to practice on you, so he would love to try them out and see if you would be able to one up him or if he would be left into a blushing mess. * Damien would honestly be shocked, but also flattered at the same time. Does that mean that you really love him and show him a side that nobody else knows about? Stars, he really needs to step up his game, as you're melting his heart already.

The Interdimentional Prince

* Bob would honestly be quite happy with it. I mean, having someone charming is absolutely fantastic. He has been always a gentlemanly person who is pretty good at flirting, so he would adore for his partner to be able to give the same energy back to him at the end of the day. * Bob would be shocked. He never knew that the person that he was to marry was such a cold person. It made Bob very afraid. What other sides were you hiding from him? He simply didn't know if he wanted to know anymore.

Miranda with an S/o who has long hair

A/n: Just a little warm up for today, woke up with some writing steam, and wanted to try writing Miranda! Hope you all enjoy! Reader is gender neutral in this as per usual! Tbh, I just had the thought of Miranda sharing hair accessories with an s/o, and was like “oh that’s cute,,” and this was born! A lot of these headcanons would probably apply to people with shorter hair as well, (the sharing hair clips). I had a lot of fun writing this! Expect another request to go up later today!, hope you all enjoy!

Miranda with an S/o who has long hair:

-First off, Miranda would *ADORE* their hair. (Really though, to be honest she would be utterly enchanted by her S/o no matter what they looked like)

-She’d 100% offer hair care tips, seeing as she herself has long hair too. (Though to be fair it may just be “Make sure your serfs know what they’re doing”)

-If you’re okay with having your hair touched? She’s 100% going to play with it. Twirling it around her fingers, braiding and styling it (or…. attempting to, but she’s trying her best, and you can’t be mad at her), she would just admire it a lot.

-Probably comes to you with different hairstyle pictures like “Hello, (S/o)! I was perusing a tome of hairstyles, and thought this would look positively splendid on you!”

-Probably has a rather large collection of fancy hairpins and clips and accessories and the like, and will most definitely wish to play a bit of dress up with you, and put them in your hair. (Also the hairpins and clips are a silent warning for potential suitors to back off- You’re with the princess of the merpeople, after all~!)

-If you come to school without your hair brushed, Miranda will make one of her serfs brush it for you, and potentially style it.

-Will gift you a *lot* of hair clips and hair accessories, as well as hair care products if you’re into that (:

-“I saw these hairpins, and thought them to be quite cute! Perhaps you’d like to share? It would most certainly be lovely if we could match, my love!”

Im not gonna lie, this one was quite challenging, but I really enjoyed it

Polly Geist

Her infatuation started because of her boredom; yeah, parties and drugs are fun, but they become so cliche after some time. Thats when she decides to look for someone to satiate her boredom.

She may be looking for someone, but her obsession will start out of nowhere. She will start following one person around instead of looking for people to mess with, and after that she goes on full on stalking.

She will follow them everywhere they go, making sure to not be seen by them. To her, it's just like a super interesting documentary, even the times where they are doing nothing or are just sleeping are incredibly gripping.

To her, the saddest thing would be if they died, because that would mean she has to find another way to pass the time. But still, it was good while it lasted

Vera Oberlin

This is one of the worst things that could have happened to her. She needs to be a ruthless bussines machine, she can't have the need to focus on someone other than herself.

Her darling would start receiving weird mail at their doorstep, like blank checks, weird letters that show bank transactions and most peculiar of all they would get on the mail pictures of a Gorgon going about her daily routine. Those weird things they get delivered at their doorstep is actually Vera's attempt to flirt.

When her affection starts affecting her bussines decisions she will decide to kidnap her darling. And when I say "she" I mean the people that she hired to do that.

She will be really sweet with her darling, almost begging for them to spend time with her. If they don't want to, she will respect their decision, but it won't stop her from trying again the next day.

If the darling decides to be cooperative with her she will come up with a deal that allows them to have a normal life while giving Vera her "daily fix" of their love.

Zoe

Falling in love is something every highschool girl does at some point, so naturally it happens with Zoe. The emotions that a Eldrich god feels are way stronger than the ones that a mere mortal feels, and her actions reflect that.

It would start with her doing what she normally does by writing FanFiction about them and shipping them with her classmates, until she realizes that no ship is better than ZoexDarling an that it shouldn't just be fiction, and it should be a reality. She would start with her normal Zoe behaviour to try and win her darling over, and if it works that's it, they get a normal and happy relationship.

If the darling rejects her, it's not a problem at all for her, she can't just change her mind when we she wants, she is insanely powerful after all, so just one quick eldritch spell and boom! They are a lovely couple. Of course, the effects of this spell will deeply affect the darling, to the point where they can't function or even survive if they aren't with Zoe at all times. But that's ok with Zoe, since it's only fair that they feel the same kind of love she feels for them.

Their day to day life would be quite normal, except for the fact that her S/O feels the need to scream their lungs out from time to time, but Zoe is always quick that sudden outbursts whenever it happens, she is living a fluff/slice of life scenario here, no room for angst in her perfect and healthy relationship

Miranda Vanderbilt

I believe she would become yandere even if she is already married to someone. Sure, she married that heir to the throne, but that doesn't mean she loves them, the only one she can't wait to spend her days with is her darling. Even if someone has a problem with her spending more time with her darling than with the person she married, they won't have the courage to say anything, no one is that stupid brave

She would be quite ruthless, everything must be how she expects it to be. She will hire all kinds of "serf trainers" to keep her darling acting just like she wants them to. Her darling would always be on their toes, not knowing what she expects them to do, her mood changes even faster than the waves of the sea, so they have to keep guessing.

If her darling isn't pleasing her that day, she just orders that they are taken to the "fun and happiness room :)" so they can reflect on what they did wrong. All the time she spends with her darling are to please her, she doesn't care about their happiness or well being, she is the princess, not them.

Vicky Schmidt

Her obsession would start with a very toxic mindset that she developed after working so hard in her studies for so long.

"I study so much every single day, I deserve to have someone..."

This would lead her into being quite clingy to her Darling, not wanting to see them with other people at all. She would even start spreading the rumor that they are in a relationship with her. She would continue being pushy and overbearing until her darling tells her off. That's when things go downhill very fast.

Vicky would feel extremely heartbroken for being rejected just like that, so she would take drastic actions to ensure she gets what she wants. If they won't give her their heart, she will take it herself, quite in a literal sense. Using everything she learned in monster high, she would do her best to keep her darling alive even if their spirit is trapped inside her body; that's at least how the rumors goes. All the evidence points to the fact that a gang murdered Vicky's darling for no reason, but some say that you can hear two hearts beating inside Vicky's chest at all times.

General Dating Headcanons

Miranda:

I,,,, sincerely hope you don’t have pet birds. If you do she’s gonna be constantly giving them shady looks.

Regardless, she loves to spoil you with almost anything you could want! She has all the money she could need, and she absolutely loves buying you new outfits!

You forgot to do your homework?? No problem!! Her serfs will do it for you. Her serfs will do anything for you. She demands it.

As long as you’re okay with it, she’ll probably be holding your hand constantly. Very cuddly and protective.

Will text you at midnight asking if you want to go swimming with her. She somehow always get you to say yes, but it's always super fun despite how tired you are the next day.

Damien:

He gets jealous easily, but is actually surprisingly laid back about you being around others even if they try to flirt with you (or if he thinks they're trying to flirt anyways). If he notices someone flirting with you, he’ll pay close attention to the conversation and your body language so he can step in if you're uncomfortable, but trusts you to not flirt back, yanno?

He gives you his jacket when you first start dating so people get the hint you're a couple pretty quickly. He wants his jacket back tho please return it.

Walks you to class and usually has his tail wrapped around your wrist or leg. You're pretty sure he doesn't even know he does that tbh.

He plays with your hair a lot regardless of its length or style. Which is sometimes relaxing but other times has you sitting there in fear just praying that he doesn't accidentally light your hair on fire.

Will cry while watching emotional sappy movies with you but immediately puts on a horror movie and laughs through it. He gives you whiplash I stg.

Scott:

Whenever he sees you his tail just starts waggin at light speed.

Everyone knows that he likes being pet and getting bellyrubs because of his wolf qualities, but sometimes he subconsciously pets you back?? He just kinda thinks “well I like this and it makes me feel appreciated so I'll show you affection in the same way!!”

If you speak another language he can catch onto it surprisingly quickly, and if you don't know another language hell probably try to convince you to learn one with him. He needs something he can focus on learning while being interested in it, and I feel like languages fit that pretty well??

Would absolutely LOVE to work out with you!! Any sport of your choice!!! He’s just a simple man who loves some good old sportball!!!!

Assuming he’s taller than you (which is probable since he's pretty tall), be prepared to be picked up into the best bear hug of your life.

Liam:

He’s the kinda man who will be so dedicated to taking aesthetic pics of you that he gets his knees locked in an uncomfortable position for those Good Angles.

He’s not too big into PDA, but he constantly shows other romantic gestures. Like memorizing your favorite foods and bringing it into school for you, leaving sticky notes with cute poems in your locker, and resting a hand on the small of your back if he notices you are uncomfortable in a conversation.

Will draw you a lot for art practice as long as you give your okay, and loves to sit and draw with you or teach you some drawing basics.

He can give you whiplash by going from quiet and reserved to fuckin shotgunning a can of blood or whatever gets him drunk at a party depending on how comfy you are with partying.

I imagine he’s very skilled in time management so like as much as he loves you he can and will threaten to literally throw you into bed if you're not getting enough sleep or literally drag you out of bed if you constantly oversleep.

Polly:

LOVES PDA!! Like she totally respects your opinion on it but she l o v e s showing you off to others and just giving you constant affection.

She’s p chill about your opinions on most things and won't force you to do anything you don't want to but like,,, if you want some drugs,,,,, she's got you covered bby.

She can and will jump on your back so you can give her piggyback rides into class.

Constantly asks to cheat off your homework but makes it up to you by getting you free drinks at parties and bars, along with cuddles while you're hungover the next day.

She is your own personal hype man for any and every occasion. Constant praise. A ghostly embodiment of the “fuck it up Kenneth!!” vine.

Vera:

Spoils you to the hundredth degree, but wants you to be financially stable on your own. Will gladly help you come up with a business of your own.

Her snakes actually like you after a while, and they'll his at anyone who is rude to you in any way shape or form.

Will make sure you are constantly feeling and looking your best, because you are the best. No arguments.

Takes you on very extravagant dinner dates or on a mission to assassinate a rival company. No in between.

Kisses the back of your hand a lot? She's not too big on PDA but she’ll constantly kiss the back of your hands when she's able to.

Damien:

- Slightly protective of you, really

- If anyone tries to pick a fight with you, he is absolutely there to defend you

- Calls you pet names religiously

- ABSOLUTELY makes you a switchblade that’s engraved with your name 

- Lends you his jacket if you even THINK about mentioning that you’re may be cold

- Acts like a boyfriend to be honest

Vera:

- Leaves you gifts 

- Compliments you frequently

- You’re trying to pay for lunch?? No. 

- You’re trying to pay for clothing? No.

- Around you a lot, really

- Blushes very easily if you compliment her back

Polly:

- VERY clingy

- Always touching you in someway

- Invites you to every party as her date/+1

- Always making sure you’re happy

- Makes up nicknames that are unique to you 

Liam:

- With your permission, he takes a lot of pictures of you

- Also pays for you lunch daily

- Calls you “darling” and such

- Honestly? He’s very suave about the whole thing

- She honestly hires royal guards just to keep an eye on you
