Louis Tomlinson's impressive music has once again sent fans wild.
The chart-topper has today announced a brand new album following days of speculation. Tomlinson, 32, has had fans involved in a global puzzle over the past few days, with secret locations across the world revealing hidden messages. But more information has since been released and fans struggled to contain their excitement.
News of Louis' latest record, LIVE, comes two days after the Doncaster-born musician bagged Artist of the Year at the Northern Music Awards, which has been dubbed the 'BRITs of the north'. Since releasing his debut solo album Walls, in 2020, Louis has gone on to achieve success outside of his former band, One Direction.
His debut record was certified Silver, having peaked at Number 4 on the Official UK Charts, as well as bagging two Top Ten singles and a Number One album, Faith in the Future. But he's set to continue smashing boundaries with LIVE. The 15-track record features a song recorded in different cities at different shows from the past three years.
Over the course of three years, Louis has performed over 170 shows, flying to 47 countries and five continents for his Louis Tomlinson World Tour (2020 - 2022) and Faith in the Future World Tour (2023 - 2024). LIVE, features some of his biggest tracks including Out Of My System, Walls and We Made It, as well as various tracks loved by his fans, Louies, live for the first time.
Speaking about the record, Tomlinson commented: "I've been lucky enough to spend the last 3 years touring the world twice over. The feeling I get sharing those live moments will be with me forever. To be able to record these songs from all over the world and put them out as an album like this feels so special, and a real tribute to the fans who make each and every show feel unique and incredible. Thank you!:
But adding to the mystery, Tomlinson is releasing in both digital, which is out now and physical form. The Physical edition which is released on August 23 includes a double CD and LP picture disc vinyl, along with a Tour Book, with fans being able to submit messages to be included in the publication.
One track which will certainly delight fans is a recording of One Direction's mega-hit, Where Do Broken Hearts Go. Fans have since shared their excitement, with one writing: "'This record is a true collaboration between me and you', SCREAMING, CRYING." A second penned: "I'm fully sobbing right now."
"This live album is a celebration of you coming so far, performing in arenas like O2 and now some of the largest stadiums, and the artist-fan relationship we share. I'm so proud of everything you have achieved," commented a third.
Louis, who has experimented with his sound, including punk rock, indie pop, EDM and soft rock is currently preparing for the final shows of his Faith In The Future World Tour which he kicked off on May 26, 2023, with his final show being on September 8, 2024, as part of Superbloom Festival.

'Louis Tomlinson has proven he's not just an ex-boyband star, he's a rocker'
Some know him as 'that guy from One Direction', others, including myself know him as arguably one of South Yorkshire's finest exports but Louis Tomlinson is only getting better, writes Daniel Bird

Louis Tomlinson may only have two solo albums but he's proving to be one of the artists people should keep an eye on.
Having burst onto the music scene in 2010 as one-fifth of One Direction – a band created by Nicole Scherzinger on The X Factor after all five members were rejected, he's proven he's not just an ex-boyband singer. While singers from bands tend to keep a low profile and venture into other industries after a split, Louis is on a one-way ticket to becoming a mega-star in his own right.
Known for never losing his Doncaster accent and humour, the 31-year-old is currently embarking on his Faith In The Future World Tour, performing to thousands of die-hard fans every night – which he deserves credit for.
Although he may have come from one of the biggest bands of all time, the cheeky chap isn't afraid of getting up close and personal with fans – much to the dismay of his security who leap into action when he jumps off stage and runs to the barricade to see fans. In recent weeks, Louis has seen his expensive vests ripped off him, with fans even going as far as tickling him.
This, however, hasn't stopped him from putting on an incredible show. Despite only releasing two studio albums as a soloist (his second topping the Official UK Charts), he's pushing himself to the limits and playing arenas across the world. Most recently, he performed to around 21,000 fans at Manchester's AO Arena on November 11.
Walking onto the stage may be daunting for some, but Tomlinson showed no signs of fear as he opened with The Greatest – ironically, perhaps the greatest opening track. Throughout the night, he performed hits including Kill My Mind but also paying tribute to his One Direction days, belting out Drag Me Down and Where Do Broken Hearts Go. But since his pop days, Tomlinson has edged towards a more EDM and synth sound before finding his comfort in rockier tracks. He'd previously stated he'd taken inspiration from the likes of Sam Fender, Amy Winehouse, Arctic Monkeys and Manchester legends, Oasis.

Nowadays, fans can expect the odd pop hit but also enjoy punk rock as well as indie pop and soft rock.
However, despite being in the business for almost 14 years, Louis remained grounded and acknowledged that Manchester was the start of his career. Between songs, he recalled his first audition for The X Factor in front of Simon Cowell, Scherzinger and Louis Walsh, being in the city. He told fans: "This is where I did my very first audition, so to be back here on my own it definitely feels full circle and I couldn't have done that without you.

Louis Tomlinson is finally set to play his UK album launch gig next month after needing to reschedule the original date.
The former One Direction man, 30, recently released his second solo album titled Faith In The Future, much to the delight of his adoring fans who helped catapult it straight to number one spot in the charts.
The sold-out gig at Shepherd's Bush Empire will give his fans their first chance to hear the tunes live in the UK and joining him on stage will be up and coming North East singer-songwriter Andrew Cushin.
Speaking to the Mirror about being chosen to open for the world renowned star, Andrew, 22, admitted he is thrilled to have the opportunity.
The talented Geordie chanter is making waves of his own under Libertines legend Pete Doherty 's Strap Originals label and has already supported the likes of Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller.
He explained how the latest link-up came after the Out Of My System singer got in touch with him following a successful performance on Sky One's Soccer AM.
He revealed Louis messaged him during the ad break to tell him he sounded great and to say well done.
The Where's My Family Gone singer said: "He then followed me [on Twitter ] and because his fans are so passionate, I got bombarded with fan pages and all these messages. It was class. I didn't really think anything of it and then when he announced his gigs, you know, it just sort of came knocking. It's great."
And he now believes the gig will help showcase his talents to a new audience after he successfully toured the UK last month, culminating in a rip-roaring hometown gig at a sold out NX Newcastle.
"I'm looking forward to the challenge," he revealed. "We're going to try to capture the imagination and emotions. It's gonna be class.
"He's got a younger demographic which is something I'd love to tap into. I'm looking forward to it and it'll be good to play at Shepherd's Bush as well. It's a venue I've wanted to tick off."
He added: "It's going to be a different experience."
Andrew is set to take his music - including latest tune titled You'll Be Free - to Italy for a short tour this week as the mad Newcastle United fan continues to build on his recent success.
He revealed there are plans in place to release his own debut album next year and is excited for what is to come as he continues to push for his own rise to the top.
