Imagine the plot of Amphibia, but the Hermits end up stuck there as well, somehow.

Chronicles Logos (Neon Genesis Evangelion/Misc.)

A record of all the logos I've made while co-writing the MST3K-style fic Chronicles with my buddy @bgc-592.

I also have active projects that currently lack an index, such as the Hermit Tales AU (Hermitcraft), The Immortal Marcy Wu AU (Amphibia) and several minor Amphibia or Hermitcraft related ideas.

INACTIVE PROJECTS:

Voided AU (Hermitcraft)

A shelved AU about Zedaph breaching a hole in bedrock and unleashing the smog of the Void onto the entire Season 7 world.

I also have inactive projects that lack an index due to either being old or very short, such as the Broken Falls AU (Gravity Falls), Season β AU (Hermitcraft), Overrun AU (Hermitcraft) and Hermitverse AU (Hermitcraft/Misc. MCYT).

A Welcome Reprieve — Older Brothers Version

Mc begins to worry when they notice that the demon brothers are showing signs of stress and exhaustion.

Lucifer:

As usual the prideful demon spent every waking moment dealing with problems that had been caused by his unruly brothers or burying himself in his work until he finally hit his limit and succumbed to exhaustion — unsurprisingly, Lucifer is an extremely overworked demon.

When Lucifer wasn’t dealing with the tedious shenanigans of his brothers or cooped up in his office until the early hours of the morning, he could be found at Diavolo’s side — whether he was helping with the planning of RAD festivals or simply discussing current events and the exchange program, there doesn’t seem to be a time when Lucifer’s brain isn’t ticking.

So it was only a matter of time before his workload caught up with him, right?

It was late at night and you were just heading back to your bedroom after fetching a glass of water from the kitchen when you noticed that the lights were still on in Lucifer’s study.

After all this time in the Devildom, you were familiar with Lucifer’s busy schedule but you noticed that the eldest brother had been spending more and more time working lately so you decided to poke your head through the door and check up on him.

You were surprised to find that Lucifer had crossed his arms on top of the paperwork on his desk and was resting his head on top of his arms with his eyes closed and his hair fell into his face while he held his pen loosely in his hands — you weren't sure at first but the slow, steady rise and fall of Lucifer’s shoulders confirmed your suspicions that the prideful demon had fallen asleep while working at his desk.

He had the usual signs of burnout; his hair was unkempt — no doubt from the amount of times that he had run a hand through it in frustration or while he was deep in thought, the dark circles beneath his eyes that were accentuated by his pale complexion, and you were certain that you could see where small, red pressure areas had formed on his index and middle fingers of his hand where he had gripped his pen too tightly for too long.

You frown with a pensive expression as you retract from the room and head back to your bedroom, where you place the glass of water in your hand on your bedside table.

After grabbing a soft blanket from the end of your bed, you quickly returned to Lucifer’s study and crossed the room — making sure to be as quiet as possible in your movements so that you didn’t wake the demon. As soon as you were stood next to his sleeping form, you carefully placed the blanket over him.

Lucifer’s eyes flew open and found you standing over him the instant the blanket touched his shoulders, he quickly lifted his head off of his arms and sat up properly in his chair — he barely noticed the blanket that slipped off of his shoulders and pooled between his lower back and the backrest of his chair, nor did he notice that his pen had fallen out of his slackened grip.

“Mc?” Lucifer spoke with a voice that was thick with sleep as he swiftly looked you up and down, taking in your nightwear. “What time is it?”

“It’s late, you should go to bed and get some rest.” You replied.

“I’m fine,” Lucifer said dismissively as he straightened himself up, fixed the collar of his shirt and massaged his aching hands, “I just needed a little break, I really should get back to work now” he added as he reached for his pen once more.

He paused for a moment with a thoughtful expression as he met your disapproving stare while the frown on your lips deepened.

“Though I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to stop for tonight,” he smiled with a weary sigh as he set his pen down again, “I’ve been neglecting you lately, haven't I?” He pushed himself up from his seat and beckoned you towards a pair of comfortable looking armchairs near the fireplace. “Would you mind having a glass of demonus with me before we go to bed, Mc?” He asked as he reached for two glasses and a bottle of dark crimson liquid.

You watched as Lucifer placed the glasses on the low coffee table between the two armchairs, poured out the demonus and set the bottle down too before you quietly approached him and pulled him into a hug.

At first you felt Lucifer stiffen in your embrace, but he slowly relaxed into your embrace, wrapped his arms around you to return the hug, pulled you closer and placed a gentle kiss on your forehead before he rested his chin on top of your head with a low chuckle.

“I don’t feel so tired anymore, it seems that spending some time with you is the perfect way to rejuvenate. Would it be selfish of me to ask you to stay with me, just for tonight?”

Mammon:

Despite being a demons with a lot of stamina, Mammon can become worn out and fed up too — whether it be physical exhaustion from chasing after his younger brothers to keep them out of trouble, running away from Lucifer’s punishments and working long hours to pay off his debts or emotional exhaustion from the toll of snarky comments and being the brunt of all jokes from his brothers, there was only so much that Mammon could handle before he hit a breaking point.

It was at these times that Mammon’s smile never quite reached his eyes and his mischievous demeanour became incredibly subdued — you quickly noticed that Mammon went from being one of the loudest demons in the room to very quiet and, at times, become blunt or dismissive in his responses.

So it came as no surprise to you when you were stretched across the sofa in the common room at the House of Lamentation with one of Levi’s manga one day only to have Mammon walk in without noticing that you were there and let out a frustrated sigh as he began to pace around the room and run his hands through his hair with a tense expression — letting out murmured swear words under his breath.

“Stupid grades… stupid witches… stupid Lucifer… ‘s not my fault I can’t do nothing right…” he muttered bitterly, “... ‘s not my fault I ain’t perfect…”

You were about to clear your throat in an attempt to subtly warn Mammon of your presence, but he quickly spotted you when he pivoted on the spot to walk the length of the common room and froze in his tracks.

You could see the cogs whirring in his head as he tried to work out how long exactly you had been there as he stared at you with a strained expression while you offered the avatar of greed a small, sympathetic smile.

A smile that slowly slid off of your face as Mammon quickly shifted his gaze towards the floor to hide his face.

“How much did ya hear?”

You hesitated for a moment as you studied the demon in front of you and carefully contemplated your answer.

“Only as much as you wanted me to hear,” you finally replied.

“Thanks.” Mammon gave a small, appreciative nod.

You swung your legs off of the sofa, set the manga down on the table in front of the sofa and gave the seat next to you a pat as you stared at Mammon expectantly until he complied with your silent invitation and perched himself on the edge of the sofa with his eyes trained on the floor and the same troublesome expression on his face.

“Are you in trouble again?” You asked in an attempt to get the avatar of greed to open up.

“It’s nothin’ I’m not already used to,” he shrugged dismissively.

A few moments of silence passed between you as you decided not to push the matter.

You gave the shoulder of his jacket a tug and let the demon’s head fall into your lap and rest on your thighs.

“H-hey, whaddya think you’re—!”

Mammon quickly fell quiet as you gently combed your fingers through his hair and met his gaze with a kind smile.

You watched Mammon’s cheeks turn red and his eyes flutter closed at your touch, and before long you felt the tension begin to leave Mammon’s body as he slowly made himself more comfortable with a content sigh.

“You’ve got some nerve, human. Do you know that?” Mammon murmured.

A smile tugged at Mammon’s lips as he leaned into your touch and the frustrated Mammon from before suddenly seemed like a distant memory, but the smile was short lived as Mammon stared up at you with a crestfallen look on his face.

“Why have ya always gotta be so nice to me? I ain’t as smart or great as my brothers, y’know.”

You felt a pang in your chest and your hand faltered in its movement at his words.

“Because you’re my great Mammon,” you replied simply, “you’re perfect just the way you are.”

Mammon’s blush deepened and his eyes widened at your words before he turned his head to avert his eyes from yours, but you still caught that smile that spread across his face this time.

“So… uh… can we stay like this for a little while longer?” Mammon asked.

“We can stay like this for as long as you like,” you said with a chuckle as you resumed combing your fingers through his hair.

Mammon entwined his fingers with yours of free hand, brought your interlocked hands to rest on his chest while he maintained his smile and closed his eyes to your touch once more.

Leviathan:

For a poor, shut-in otaku like Levi, it really doesn’t take too much to drain his social battery and it’s not unusual for Levi to shut himself away in his bedroom — even for days at a time sometimes — what wasn’t normal was for Levi to completely ignore multiple group chat messages and invites to join in with games nights with his brothers or his favourite human exchange student.

He eventually began to miss classes at RAD and student council meetings, and your concern deepened when you had tried to reach out to the avatar of envy yourself through private messages but often found your messages left unread.

You decided to take more direct actions and soon found yourself standing in front of Levi’s bedroom door.

You gave the door a gentle knock before you cleared your throat and began to recite the phrase you so often used to gain permission into the third-born’s room.

“The second lord…”

You waited for a few moments and listened carefully to see if Levi would respond.

“... attempted to steal the Lord of Corruption’s platypus, which could lay golden eggs…” you continued, “... having incurred the wrath of the Lord of Corruption for this misdeed, it was ordered that the second lord would forever be dubbed ‘The Lord of Fools’.”

An uneasy feeling came over you as you finished the phrase but was still met with silence.

You pushed the handle down and Levi’s bedroom opened a fraction before you peered inside only to be met by dimmed shades of blue and purple lights that emitted from the decorative jellyfish that hung from the ceiling, and the glow of a small console screen that barely illuminated a hunched figure who was shrouded in a blanket and sitting in the bathtub in the centre of the room.

“Levi?” You called out in an uncertain voice as you pushed the door further open and stepped into the room as you kept your eyes trained on the shrouded figure.

The muffled sound of rustling fabric and you could just make out the demon’s face in the dull lighting as Levi turned to face you, lifting a cushioned ear cup from one of his ears and pausing his video game as he did so.

“Oh, it’s you Mc,” Levi said as he pulled the headphones down to let them hang around his neck instead before he turned his attention back towards his video game, “did you need something?”

“Nothing in particular,” you replied as you let the door close behind you and stepped further into the room, accidentally knocking something over with your foot and giving a startled jump when the object clattered against the floor.

If you wondered how Levi had managed to sustain himself while he had been cooped up in his room, the numerous wrappers and empty drinks cans that littered the surface and floor around his glass table answered your question. You stopped down to pick up the empty can that you had knocked over, placing it precariously amongst the rest of the clutter on the table before you spoke up to address Levi again.

“I just wanted to make sure that you’re okay,” you said, “we haven’t seen you for a while, everyone’s worried about you.”

“Who would bother worrying about a yucky otaku like me?” He grumbled bitterly as he began to press the buttons of his console more forcefully.

It wasn’t long before his screen faded to black and the avatar of envy drew the blanket that was draped around his shoulders closer to himself and over his head like a hood before he slumped back in the bathtub with an irritable sigh and let the handheld console fall into his lap where you caught a glimpse of the ‘you died’ message that was now displayed in red words across the screen.

“You shouldn’t have to waste your time on a worthless nobody, I’ll only drag you down too so I’m better off alone.”

Levi’s voice was slightly muffled by the blanket, but you quickly picked up on the change in his tone from bitter and blunt to quiet and dispirited.

You cast your eyes around Levi’s bedroom in hopes of finding something that might lift his mood when your gaze finally found a set of familiar leather bound books resting on the bookshelf slightly apart from the collections of manga.

You soon found your body moving by instinct as you stepped closer to the bathtub, perched yourself on the edge and pulled Levi towards you into a hug.

“Henry is a sworn friend of the Lord of Shadows.”

You felt the demon give a small jolt at your words.

“Mc…?”

“I don’t spend time with you because I have to, I spend time with you because I want to,” you said in a firm voice as you broke apart from your embrace and leant back to meet Levi’s gaze, “when the Lord of Shadows is feeling down, Henry is always there to encourage him, right? So that’s what I want to do too.”

You began to worry that your words had been a bit too much for the poor otaku when Levi continued to stare at you as a deep blush crept across his face.

“You… you really mean it?” Levi asked in a murmured voice.

“Of course I do,” you nodded and offered him a sincere smile.

You inwardly heaved a sigh of relief when Levi shuffled forward and rested his head on the side of your abdomen as his arms snaked around your waist while you patted the top of his head.

My username is a play on the Sherlock Holmes story "Adventure of the Dancing Men".

Even though I'm not active in the Sherlock fandom anymore, I decided to keep the same username because dancing is part of my IRL identity and I didn't want to keep track of a separate account. Also, Mina is my dancing (alien) queen so the name still works.
