Everyone always gives Hannibal hell for refusing to acknowledge that his trauma had any impact on him, especially since he's a skilled psychiatrist, but imagine if he did admit that to himself. Then what? Then, all illusions of being self-made disappear. He won't be the serial killer who chooses to kill out of curiosity and appreciation for the art of death. He'd just be a product of his trauma. Everything that he assumed control of, even the ritual of eating his victims that he'd carefully cultivated, all of that would just be a byproduct of that winter. He would be completely at the mercy of that memory, his whole life dictated and warped by that incident. And he would lose himself. Better to believe this was all his design. Better to dismiss that winter and say that it was determined to happen from the beginning. It would have happened anyway. The teacup would've shattered anyway. He had made it shatter. This was his design.

I know very little about Mischa, aside from the fact that she’s one of those models from that era of nude models with a bunch of different pseudonyms on different sites. Mischa seems to be her most popular one. Occasionally she’ll pop onto my dash and I’m always like, oh there’s that girl with the nipples. Not that she’s the only girl with nipples, just that hers are somewhat memorable. Like, they may have played a role in her deciding to be a nude model. She might have been like, wow I have awesome nipples, people might want to see that. This person def does that’s for sure.

The choir didn't know how much more they could take of Mischa’s rambling. (y/n) this, (y/n) that, you’re what he talks about 90% of the time. And as bad as it made them feel, the choir just couldn’t believe that you were real. So they decided to ask him a few questions about you.

The questions ranged from, “What color is their hair” or “what is their favorite food.” This went on for weeks until Ocean just couldn't take it anymore.

“So Mischa,” Ocean began “have you ever met (y/n) before?”

“Of course.”

“She means face to face. Like in person?” Noel said.

“Not yet.” Mischa replied

“What if they’re cat fishing you! They might not even be who they say they are!” Ocean said

“Well, I will know tomorrow.” He said

“What do you mean by that Mischa?” Jane asked

“(y/n) is coming to Canada tomorrow.”

Que the whole choir breaking into incomprehensible screaming.

Ocean is grabbing onto Mischa’s shoulders and shaking them, Noel is trying to find out what time you’re coming at, Jane and Ricky are excitedly talking/signing about meeting you, and Constance is trying to calm everyone down before they get in trouble for being so loud

Which leads us to where we are now. The whole of the chamber choir stands at the small airport located by Uranium. When they hear over the intercom that your plan finally landed, they all start to get even more excited. Once Mischa spots you he’s practically running to where you’re standing.

As soon as he reaches you it feels like a Disney Movie. Mischa pulls you into a hug before placing a soft kiss on your lips. Meanwhile the choir is just watching as their friend finally can hold the girl of his dreams, finally excepting that you were real.

“Hello my love.” Mischa said in Ukrainian still holding you.

“Hello Mischa.”

“My choir friends would like to meet you, they’re standing over there waiting for us.”

“Oh are they now?” You said while looking over his shoulder.

“Yes. They did not believe you were real.” Mischa said.

“Well I guess they’ll have to believe I exist now.”

Surely enough, Mischa introduces you to the choir one by one. You’re just as excited to meet the choir as they are to meet you. Even though he may try to not show it, you could tell that Mischa was so happy that his online, and technically real life, girlfriend gets along with the other members of his choir so well. By the end of the day its like you had always been friends with the Saint Cassian High School Chamber Choir.

a few nischa headcanons from my ever-growing list of them because i <3 them

noel is a massive theatre kid and since uranium is a very small town and st cassian is an even smaller school noel gets cast in like everything and mischa is always in the audience to every single one of his shows with a whole boutique of flowers each time

mischa taught noel a bit of ukrainian so they could communicate in mischa's native language

there are a lot of days when it's just the two of them (at mischa's house in his basement, in noel's bedroom, the choir room before or after their meetings, it depends) where they will just put on some music and dance with each other! they switch who gets to choose what music they dance to and noel usually either picks some slow, romantic song that may or may not be in french or songs from various musicals he likes (those come with a full performance from him too). when mischa picks, it is such a fucking wild card because he likes every single genre of music ever

they're so physically affectionate it's SICKENING they're constantly touching each other in some way and it's usually subtle but other times one will just be fully putting all of their weight on the other

frequent sleep overs! it's usually at mischa's house because he has a large basement and his parents generally don't care (which makes noel sad, so he always offers to hold the next sleep over at his house. mischa usually says it's fine but he does give in sometimes because noel's mom is very nice). they usually sleep right next to each other but both are so restless and they move around SO much. mischa has woken up with noel fully laying on top of him and noel has woken up with mischa's arm on his face

speaking of sleepovers i think mischa usually sleeps without a shirt on (he always asks noel if it's okay before he takes it off though, he doesn't want to make him uncomfortable ever and he would die if he did) and he's so WARM noel loves cuddling to him normally but especially when he's without a shirt because he's just very warm

matching jewelry. noel gets them matching necklaces like decently soon after they started dating and soon after mischa was DETERMINED to hand-make matching bracelets for the both of them and both of them silently agree to never take off either piece of jewelry

noel broke a bone in his arm once when he was a freshman and the first person he was like "...do you wanna sign my cast?" to was mischa. it was a messy signature but it meant a lot to noel, who had a VERY strong crush on him

Mischa has been a staple of the corners of the internet where you go to look at naked girls for a long time. I don't really know who she is, or what she's up to now, as I'm sure she has long moved on from doing this work. I'm fairly certain Mischa isn't her real name, as it was only the name she used with certain studios—she had other aliases, as was the fashion for girls who did these kinds of shoots. I hope that like one of her colleagues—the incredible Ryonen—she's moved on and found happiness doing something she's really passionate about and good at. There's something awesome about a girl who just shows up, spends a couple years dropping insanely hot pics of herself on the internet, and then dips out into the sunset, remaining a mystery.
