Her name was Samiya and she was brutally stabbed in the neck and chest before she was taken to a New York hospital with her sister Sanyia (who had been stabbed in the arm), where she did not survive her injuries from her neck and chest. These sisters were just at a store, and this predator FOLLOWED them after he was rejected and attacked them. He waited for them -and he's still not caught. This is just absolutely horrifying.

Misogyny fuels violence against women -and this very clear epidemic is killing young girls and women.

I cannot imagine the degree of entitlement you think you have to anyone's time and bodies- that anyone could hold that much disdain for rejection, and is okay with exerting power, control, and violence upon another person because YOUR ego is bruised. Fuck toxic masculinity and dismantle the patriarchy until it burns to the ground because I'm so sick of seeing this.

I wish all the best to the family and loved ones of Samiya. This young teenager should still be here. And I hope the man who did this gets apprehended and faces endless misery and misfortune in his lifetime.

There was a predator in the discord server and instead of asking star giant why they didn't ban the predator or reporting the predator..

Told her repeatedly to end her life

Wish death on her

Threatened to out her bring bisexual to her parents who are her caretakers

Seemingly threatened to dox her

Made fun of her crying and her not fully being able to process what was going on.

Mocked her trouble speaking

Repeatedly made her say she was guilty

Forced her to repeatedly apologize for something that she didn't understand.

That's just the tip of the fucked up iceberg..

There was so much

It was basically them all getting drunk and harassing a disabled woman until she was crying and repeatedly apologize for something she seemingly had no authority over.

No other person in the call spoke up about the wrongness of it all until the very end..

When Rosa tried explaining well anything they'd yell at her, call her slurs, curse at her or use ableist comments until she was silent.

She repeatedly said she wanted to leave the call and they threatened to dox her, contact her family, get her caretakers to kick her out, and even threatened to falsely spread about her town that she was a pedophile.. { she's not } but they threatened her with that and it scared her.

Be careful about how you set boundaries or talk to a dangerous, vindictive, mentally unwell person bc they get paranoid very easily and will take anything you say the wrong way, and if you genuinely word something off on accident an apology won’t suffice bc they will come after you and try to fuck your life up or rape you over it and extreme people like this have no innate morality or heart. Just full of paranoia and anger issues. Best to keep your words MINIMAL meaning just say “leave me be please!” Or “I don’t wanna be bothered, thank you.” MIN-A-MAL.

Even then they’ll find a reason to hurt you;

for an example I set a boundary with a person when I was younger and when I said I didn’t want to talk and was sitting in my history class waiting for my teacher to arrive (to save my ass) the girl gave me a dirty look and accused me of talking shit, when I emphasized I just didn’t wanna talk, she said I obviously hated her bc “everyone did” and I didn’t know how to respond to my intentions being interpreted and my boundaries being set. Toxic response of her, although I sympathized with where she was coming from I didn’t realize the malice intentions this kid actually had.

So when I say mentally unwell, toxic people…if you notice red flags, and they can be subtle, you MUST steer clear of them always, set boundaries as nice as you can, and run! And don’t try to feel bad for them bc that’s a mistake that’ll get you hurt, just LEAVE. Make up any excuse or lie you can if you want, but set HARD boundaries and say you’re simply not interested in talking.

If you feel in immediate danger, esp a man, give a fake phone number if they ask for one (you can have one ready on a fake number app that’s downloadable, and temporary number websites) and act enthusiastic about seeing them “later in the week” bc you’re busy and gotta go somewhere rn and try to stay with a group of friends or family members when going out. Keep mace on you always and even a recording device and dash cam on your car for police evidence.

solangelo was THE FIRST main gay couple I read about outside of reading books specifically for gay couples. Piper and Shel weren’t.

don’t get me wrong, I love Piper and Shel. But we have so much more content, so much more to love, and a deeper connection with solangelo, because they were first.

The fact is, gay couples are first because people can recognize them better. Everyone (straight woman, gay men & women, some straight men,) read about them on their own. Wlw couples? That’s a porn category to everyone but sappics themselves!

As someone who has that connection to solangelo, they will always be special to me. I was never given the chance for that special couple to be a wlw couples, despite myself being wlw, because it just doesn’t sell as much. So, of course, I care more about the mlm couple because of that common base.

I've seen a lot of (usually white) feminists talk about how western/European women should also replicate/do '4B' as well just as Korean women have -without recognizing or understanding the context with which 4B arose.

The current very right-wing South Korean President, Yoon Suk Yeol, is very much responsible for continuing to put the health, well-being, as well as safety of Korean women at risk. Whether it be through him vehemently stating gender discrimination no longer exists to attempting to abolish the ONLY organizing that focuses on supporting women -the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

He has also only added a handful of women into his cabinet AFTER he was criticized for not having done so in the first place. When he was elected back in 2022, my solidarity has and will always remain with women and folks who experience marginalization in South Korea, such as those in the LGBTQIA+ and disability community, among many. I will, nor should NO ONE ever forget how this man campaigned/how he was elected in mass by misogynistic men.

President Yoon Suk Yeol also remarked about creating incentives for MEN by lowering their mandatory military service if they have more children with their wives... needless to say, 4B is specific to the lived experiences and realities of living under patriarchy in South Korea in many elements of her daily life. I stumbled on this video on my fyp, and this Creator gives SO much great context to 4B, and for those who can watch/listen I highly recommend this video as a start to understanding Korean feminism.

The phrase "truly heinous bitch" seems apt.

To go to the most misogynistic and homophobic country in the western world and say “being gay and being a woman doesn’t necessarily mean you are in danger in some countries.
