One of my favorite patterns I've ever done, but working on this fabric was a nightmare 😅 It was my first linen and I think it was just slightly too loose of a weave. But I'm so glad I pushed through and it's so amazing finished! I made the shiny gyarados and magikarp in etoile so they're actually shiny!

I finally got a chance to frame this gorgeous Umbreon art print by @missypena and I knew I had to hang it above the “be good shelf”, where the Cryptids come to say goodbye to me and be told to “Be good!” every morning when I leave for work (there’s Dearborn demonstrating). Now Umbreon watches over them!

So I just finished cleaning my “croffice” (craft room/office) and I think my favorite part right now is that I have a wall across from my armchair that’s dedicated to art. I’m kind of letting the display grow organically, so it’s not “perfect”, but I like it this way.

It is seriously looking like I might do all four.

Based off @missypena’s official character art, here’s Night’s of Eveningstar’s Marcel as Garchomp. A steel/fighting type.

This started out with Tarkhal/Torkoal, so I wanted a Pokémon whose name sounded the same as the character’s. That turned out to be hard. So the criteria I came up with were:

1. Has to sound vaguely the same,

2. preferably a type swap, and

3. ...well whichever Pokémon I felt like, after that.

(Twenty minutes after deciding Garchomp was the one I felt like I was deep into “how the hell does that head even work? And why did I decide to draw him crouching when there’s no reference pics for that whatsoever? Ah yes because it’s Marcel and he’s waiting for people to decide things so he can go fight things” problems.)
