Imagine Harvey's enemies thinking that kidnapping soft fragile, soft papa towards his kids Bruce Wayne would be easy and that it would get Harvey to drop them immediately

Instead they get this-

Bruce is already out of binding and beating the shit out of everyone in the background.

This Civilian Bruce has so much anger welled up inside him hidden behind sweet smiles and all sugary talk.

You would think twoface is scary but his husband is much worse. he has judo flipped lex Luthor, been in so many fights with so many parents and even villians, this man is pure anger fuel.

Compared to bruce Harvey is the sweet and collected one who has to carry his husband away from beating the shit out of the Riddler for "Making fuck eyes at his man"

He's also run over the joker multiple times.

I also imagine TJ being the resident vigilnate instead and that bruce loves to get lovey dovey with Harvey infront of his brother to piss TJ off.

Civilian!Bruce is a menace to society. That will be all your honor.

Cuteness is what mainly prevents Bella and Jim from doing something about their resident wet cat billionaire.

Sure, Jim is salty he can't bust Dent, and that Bruce bails him out everytime, but he can't take it out on the Wayne boy. Plus. He's seen Maroni's hands after the acid incident.

It wasn't Dent wearing the thumb necklace, It was his sweet little husband, with red smudging the corners of his mouth. It could be lipstick. Jim doubts it. Its not the same shade Two Face shows off proudly, on his neck, when they take him in.

He almost looks like Martha when he's wearing red.

So, pros and cons of The Flash (Dawn of DC) #1

Pros:

The kids are in middle school! Glad to see they're being allowed to grow up.

The horror stuff is really cool and I'm enjoying it a lot

Really good art

The narrative style is fun and creative.

Cons:

Wally feels OOC in his treatment of the Speed Force, insisting it has to be scientific which has never been his thing.

Wally is also written as way too oblivious and dismissive of Linda trying to tell him what she needs.

Off of that, Spurrier feels like he's trying to make Wally and Linda's relationship fail in a forced way. If he does that it will ruin this book and be a massive middle finger to the entire fanbase.

Silly nitpick, but how TF does Michael fucking Holt need to be reminded of PEMDAS???? Also him being a distant, unavailable dad makes zero sense given how he was shown in the previous run or how he was JUST reunited with his son who he thought was dead.

They're trying to make Jai a future supervillain again.
