percy repeatedly asking annabeth to marry him, even after they’re married
annabeth glaring down at her textbook in college, bags deeper and darker than the mariana trench, hair in a rats nest haphazardly pulled back in a bun that is gonna be infuriating to undo and she will resort to just cutting the tie:
percy, laying in bed next to the desk she’s working at, lovestruck, heart eyes, blushing, giggling, kicking his feet: marry me rn
annabeth covered in flour and sugar bc she set the mixer on too high a setting while making cookies with percy in their kitchen at three am bc they couldn’t sleep, bent over hysterically cackling, tears pooling in her eyes:
percy, covered in flour and sugar, lovestruck, heart eyes, laughing almost louder than her, blushing, mentally flipping through his ideas of rings to find the perfect one to propose to her with: holy shit…marry me
annabeth sat on the couch in percy’s shirt and her own blue shorts, coffee in hand, magazine in lap, flipping through for ideas for their wedding, serene, peaceful even:
percy, attempting to make breakfast but keeps getting distracted by his absolutely stunningly beautiful fiancé (fiancé), definitely burning the pancakes, egg in hand that was ready to be cracked into the pan but instead was squeezed too hard and egg yolk began running down his arm: holy shit you gotta marry me rn if u don’t i’m just gonna stop breathing until you say yes
annabeth sat at a table drinking a glass of champagne, makeup completely ruined from dancing so much she began to sweat and from crying tears of joy, hair still somehow done up in the beautiful style sally had done three hours ago, wedding dress sparkling under the lights, wide smile on her face and hand in percy’s:
percy, breathless, still not completely processing what just happened, heart beating so fast he’s not sure if it’s beating at all anymore, unable to tear his gaze away from his wife’s (WIFE’S) achingly gorgeous profile, rubbing his thumb across the back of her palm, rubbing his ring against hers to feel the clink of the bands: marry me, beth
annabeth sat up in bed reading a book under the light of the lamp of the nightstand, one hand running through percy’s hair, occasionally coming down to rub his neck, hair falling down her shoulders and back in beautiful princess curls, gaze distant as her mind is in a whole other world:
percy, laying down next to her, staring up at her as if she was his god (which technically she is, the way he worships the ground she walks on and would do anything for her, sacrifice anything to ensure her happiness and safety), arms wrapped around her hips, finger drawing invisible images into her thigh, whispers so soft that he can barely hear it yet somehow she does: marry me
annabeth rambling on and on about her new hyperfixation and infodumping on percy over lunch which happened to be a picnic in the park, ring reflecting the sunlight multiple times into percy’s eyes during her rant, hair flying in all directions somehow regardless of the light breeze, a bit of mayo on her chin from her sandwich:
percy, unable to look away or even blink despite being blinded multiple times by her ring, pretty sure a couple of squirrels ran off with his sandwich like ten minutes ago, not retaining anything she’s saying but burning the resonance of her voice and the sparkle in her eyes into his memory: i have a ring, i’m proposing, marry me right fucking now holy shit

Pairing: Minseok x Reader Genre: CEO AU, Office AU, Suggestive, Angst Rating: T Summary: You run out on him only to end up in his office that same day. Word Count: 1.1k ✊🏾😔 another failed drabble Warnings: implied smut, office relations
Inspired by this post.
Tumblr media
It wasn’t often you fucked up this badly. Office mixers tend to end up at a bar with someone table dancing. It was the life of magazine writers. Drink, wake up hungover, drag your ass to work, then do it all over again. But this time was different. This time you woke up naked in a hotel room.
You listened to the shower going with mild panic, unable to remember who you slept with the night before. One-night stands weren’t your thing, so what the fuck, past self? You took inventory of your body. There was a pleasant soreness from your core and thighs, as well as a twinge of pain from the side of your neck. No doubt you had love bites to cover up. Shit, fuck, shit.
Should you let him know you’re awake? All thoughts stopped cold when you caught the red LED of the clock on the nightstand. You were supposed to be at work thirty minutes ago! You flung yourself out of bed, tripping in the sheets as you fumbled to toss on your clothes and shoes. Ideally, you’d thank your lover for a wonderful night, but Giselle was waiting. Every second was precious and vital to keeping your damn job. With a wince of regret, you snuck out of the room and sprinted away.
Minseok heard the door close and stuck his head out of the shower. Surely, he was hearing things. Maybe he’d forgotten to put the do not disturb sign on the door and a maid had peeked in. He shrugged it off and finished washing his body, lamenting the loss of your sweet scent on his skin but taking comfort that if breakfast went well, he’d get it back and then some. Last night had been a wonder to him, an eye-opening soul-searching experience he wouldn’t forget anytime soon, if ever. The way you’d rode him hard and moaned his name so sweetly had his spine tingling just from the memories. He didn’t believe in love at first sight, especially with drinks involved, but he was sure he’d come pretty damn close. There were no words to describe how he felt realizing you were what he was missing in life. A smart, funny woman who didn’t care for who he was or how much money he had in the bank.
“Hey, wanna go get—” He poked his head out of the bathroom and stopped. The sheets were halfway off the bed. Your clothes and purse were gone. For a few minutes, he was confused. Why weren’t you in bed? Where was your stuff? He stepped out into the room and checked the corners. You were truly gone. What the hell? Minseok was no stranger to one-night stands, but he’d done everything to make it clear his time with you wasn’t that. He had every intention of seeing you again and again. But clearly, you didn’t. And of course, he didn’t get your number since he’d been so confident there’d be plenty of time for that.
Biting the inside of his cheek, Minseok went about getting dressed. He had a magazine interview shortly after lunch and could kill time before it at the office. Though he hated to do it, he pushed you to the back of his mind. No sense in dwelling over mistakes. The show must go on.
Tumblr media
“Mr. Kim is on his way.” The secretary smiled as she led the way to the CEO’s office. “He’s asked to have you wait in his office.”
“That’s fine.” You went through your purse making sure you had everything you needed. Notepad? Check. Pen? Check. Breath mints? Double-check. She opened the door and stepped aside for you. Mr. Kim’s office was bigger than you expected, but then what else would the son of a hotel mogul have? Everything looked so expensive, so far out of your price range. It made you feel out of place. But that didn’t matter. You weren’t here to cry over the class gap. You were here to write a story. Just when you were about to take a seat, the door opened behind you. You straightened up and turned around, only to be met with a vaguely familiar face.
Minseok couldn’t believe his eyes, or his luck. It’s a small world, after all. The two of you stood there in silence before he quietly shut the door behind him. He watched you carefully, waiting to see horror or guilt on your pretty little face, but it never came. Instead, you put on your best professional smile.
“Good afternoon, Mr. Kim. It’s great to finally meet you.”
“Finally?” He scoffed then bit the inside of his cheek, walking around his desk to his chair while pointedly ignoring your outstretched hand. “I get it. You’re working, so we must remain professional, huh?”
“I—” You didn’t understand his attitude but retracted your hand and took a seat. This wasn’t anything like the reports you’d heard. Kim Minseok was supposed to be an angel, an absolute gentleman. The prickly man across from you had so far been anything but. “You must be having a rough day. How about we just skip to the questions and I’ll be on my way?”
Minseok just barely kept his face straight. Now you wanted to skip the small talk and get out of there? He couldn’t stop the words from coming out. “Do you handle everything in life like this? Just in and out, go-go-go? Or is it just with me?”
You eyed him carefully. “I’m…sorry? I don’t believe I’ve met you before now.”
“Oh, really? So I guess I slept with another woman who happens to look and sound just like you?” He leaned forward and rested his elbows on the desk. “You did a great job covering up the marks I left on your neck. But what about the ones on your thighs, hm?”
Your face chilled as the color drained from your face. Now you knew why his voice sounded familiar. The hotel you left this morning was from the Kim chain. The room did look ridiculously luxurious. How in the world did you end up in bed with a fucking hotel mogul?
Minseok’s grin grew with each passing second as the situation became clearer to you both. He was delighted to know that you genuinely didn’t know who he was when you slept with him. Even if you’d only considered him another body, you weren’t after his fortune or assets. He could work with that. After all, there are no accidents. He lowered his voice to a whisper when he asked, “Will you tell me why you left without saying goodbye?”
You bit your lip as your cheeks flushed. “I-I was late to work. My boss is very strict with tardiness and I had to prep for this interview. If I had known…”
“Hm. Well, lucky for us, we have a second chance.” He propped his chin up with his hand. “So, how about I order lunch and we start over?”

I'll Always Wait For You
Model O! JM x CEO A! JK
Jimin has always known his inner wolf was picky and would let him know when it found the mate it wanted. They had a deal
It agreed for him to follow his dream to be a model by relocating to Paris in his teens provided that when Jimin achieved super model status he moved back to Y-City to go hunting for a suitable mate among the eligible bachelors.
That time had finally come and he was getting ready for his first mixer at Taehyung's house when his bestie casually mentioned Jungkook.
The pretty CEO had graced the cover of a business magazine but made it look like a high fashion shoot.
Despite their own agreements to wait for a fated mate, both Jimin and his Omega were willing to play around just a little bit to see how JK's tattoos looked when he flexed his arms.
On meeting Jungkook's gaze however his inner wolf suddenly was in a tizzy.
O!: Oh fuck.. It’s him. I can't believe it’s him.
JM: “Why are we panicking?”
O!: It’s my husband.
Jimin suddenly had a sinking feeling that his Omega had skipped out on some crucial information ...

Hi. So. I'm missing my Grandma. I moved a few months ago and she's not a place she can do really any traveling, and I'm not making it back home this year for various reasons but. Idk I just miss her, even talking on the phone isn't the same as when I lived with her. And I miss her food like crazy. So I thought I could share some of her recipes, if y'all want. Some of these she learned from her mother in law, and a couple of these are just from her family and she always loves getting recipes so she hoards them. I think she has every cook book and cooking magazine to ever exist; we have one from the 1800s that tells you how to cook bear lmfao. But they're all pretty fucking amazing so. Yeah.
I'm gonna put these under a read more for you guys ^^.
Frosted Sugar Cookies
Sugar Cookies
1 cup crisco.
1 cup margarine.
1 cup white sugar.
1 cup powdered sugar.
2 eggs.
1 tsp baking soda.
1 tsp vanilla.
1 tsp cream of tartar.
4 cups flour.
Mix and chill for one hour. Roll out and cut with cutters. Roll into balls, roll in sugar, and flat with a glass bottom dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 and babysit the cookies; start them on the bottom rack (do everything on the bottom rack) and then move them to the top shelf just as they start to turn and when they're browning at the bottom, remove them from the oven and let cool.
Powdered Sugar Frosting
1 stick of margarine.
1 tsp vanilla.
1 ½+ cups powdered sugar.
“A little bit” of half n half.
Melt margarine just a little bit. Mix with vanilla and powdered sugar, which you may have to sift. Add half n half (or milk), beat by hand (do not use a mixer), and mix until you reach desired consistency and flavor.
-
Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup butter, softened.
¾ cup sugar.
¾ cup brown sugar.
2 eggs.
1 tsp salt.
1 tsp vanilla.
2 ½ cup flour.
1 tsp baking soda, dissolved in.
1 tbsp hot water.
1 pkg chocolate chips.
Mix ingredients. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 375. No timer needed, you have to babysit the cookies until they’re done, just as you do with the sugar cookies.
-
Frosted Brownies
Brownies
1 stick margarine.
2 cups sugar.
5 eggs.
4 tbsp cocoa.
2 tsp vanilla.
1 cup flour.
½ cup chopped nuts (optional).
Cream butter and sugar. Adds eggs and cocoa, then the rest. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes in a 10x15in pan.
Side note: There is also an additional measurements for an 11x18 as follows: 1 ½ stick margarine, 3 cups sugar, 8 eggs, 6 tbsps cocoa, 3 tsps vanilla, 1 ½ cup flour, and ¾ cups chopped nuts.
Frosting
1 stick butter.
2 tbsp cocoa.
⅓ cup milk or cream.
1 cup sugar.
2 cups powdered sugar.
1 tsp vanilla.
Extra milk, if needed.
Melt butter in a saucepan, then add cocoa. Stir in milk & sugar. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, then beat in sugar and vanilla.
Side note: The aforementioned 11x18in measurements for the frosting are: 1 ½ stick butter, 3 tbsps cocoa, ⅓ cup milk/cream, 1 ½ cup sugar, 3 cups powdered sugar, and 1 ½ tsp vanilla, with extra milk if needed.
-
Chocolate Fudge (from her Mom)
3 cups sugar.
1 envelope unflavored gelatine.
1 cup milk.
½ cup light corn syrup.
3 squares (3oz) unsweetened chocolate.
2 tsp vanilla.
1 ¼ cup butter or margarine.
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts.
Butter an 8x8x2in deep pan. In a 3 ½ qt pan, mix sugar with dry gelatin; add milk, corn syrup, chocolate and butter. Cook over med heat, stirring frequently to 238 degrees on candy thermometer or until a little in cold water forms a soft ball that flattens when removed from water. Remove from heat. Pour into a large mixing bowl. Stir in vanilla. Cool 25 minutes. Beat with wooden spoon until candy thickens. Stir in walnuts. Spread in prepared pan. Let cool, then cut into squares.
-
Chicken and Noodles
Cover one whole chicken in a large, heavy bottomed pot with water. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, chicken bouillon powder, onion flakes, a little bit of celery flakes and garlic salt to your hearts content. Bake until chicken is done (stick a fork into and if it slides out clean and easy, it’s done).
Remove chicken from the pot to a platter and cut up, then pull apart and shred the chicken.
In the meantime, dump in 2-3 cups of elbow noodles [probably more -- I think we use like 2 boxes at least]. Use 1 large can cream of chicken and add the meat. Stir together and enjoy.
-
Cheesy Chicken Rice
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts.
1 (10 ¾ oz) can Campbell’s cream of chicken soup.
1 ⅓ cups water.
1-2 cups Minute Maid white rice, uncooked.
2 small cans corn, drained.
2 small cans peas, drained.
2 small cans carrots, drained.
8 oz or more shredded fiesta blend cheese.
½ tsp onion powder
Stir soup, water, rice and veggies together in a 12x8 shallow baking dish. Season chicken as desired, and top the rice mix with the chicken. Cover the dish with aluminum foil. Bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes. Uncover, top with cheese and put back in the oven for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
-
Banana Bread
3 ripe bananas, mashed.
1 cup sugar.
½ cup crisco.
2 eggs.
3 tbsp buttermilk.
2 cups flour.
1 tsp salt.
½ tsp baking soda.
½ tsp baking powder.
Nuts (optional).
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
-
Biscuits (from her great-grandmother)
1 cup crisco.
1 ¼ cup buttermilk.
2 ½ cups self rising flour.
Put Crisco in mixing bowl, then add buttermilk and flour. Take a tablespoon and mix until it is mixed well. Pour out onto floured paper or board, and cut or roll dough over; pinch smaller pieces and roll in hands, put onto greased pans. Bake at 450-500 for 20-45 minutes.
-
Dinner rolls (from her great-aunt)
1 ½ cups boiling water.
½ cup sugar.
1 tsp salt.
¼ cup crisco.
1 egg
1 pkg active dry yeast or compressed yeast.
½ cup lukewarm water.
5-6 cups flour.
Pour boiling water over sugar, salt and crisco; stir until dissolved and cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in ½ cup of lukewarm water. Add yeast to above mixture, add egg, mix well. Add flour to make dough soft. Rub surface with crisco. Place in a bowl, cover tightly and refrigerate until ready to use (will keep for about 1 week). When ready, knead and punch down dough. Roll out on floured board until ½ thick and shape by hand. Brush with butter. Allow to raise double in bulk, about 1 hour. Bake at 425 for 20 minutes.
-
Lasagna (from her mother-in-law)
1 ½ lb ground beef, ground and drained.
1 lg can canned tomatoes, blended.
3 8 (oz) cans tomato sauce.
1 lg dry pkg McCormick spaghetti sauce.
½ tsp salt to taste.
2 8oz pkgs shredded mozzarella
Grated canned parmesan.
Mix together ground beef, blended tomatoes, sauces and salt together and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until thickened. Cook 8 lasagna noodles as directed on the package and rinse in cold water.
Put a thin layer of sauce in a glass 9×13in pan; then a layer of noodles, and on top of that, half of the remaining sauce. Sprinkle 1 pkg mozzarella, and a cup of parmesan over it. Add another layer of noodles, then layer the rest of the mozzarella, then parmesan and then finally the rest of the sauce on top of that. Bake at 350° for about an hour, until the cheese is bubbly. Serves best if you let it stand for 15 minutes.
-
Pancake Mix
2 eggs.
2 tbsp margarine, slightly melted.
2 cups buttermilk.
2 cups flour.
½ tsp baking soda.
1 tsp baking powder.
5 tbsp sugar.
½ tsp salt.
Mix until creamy, but batter may stay a little on the lumpy side.
-
Waffles (from my Grandpa!)
2 cups flour.
½ tsp salt.
4 tbsp baking powder.
1 ¾ cups milk.
2 eggs, beaten until light.
½ cups melted shortening.
Mix together.
-
Deviled Eggs
1 tbsp vinegar.
1 ½ tbsp mayonnaise.
1 tbsp sugar.
½ tsp mustard.
12 boiled eggs.
Cut eggs in half length wise. Scoop and mash the yolks, then mix with the vinegar, mayo, sugar and mustard. Put in egg whites. Refrigerate.
-
Stuffing
4 skinless chicken breasts.
1 cup chicken broth.
1 can cream of chicken soup.
1 box chicken stuffing mix.
½ cup water.
Put chicken in a slow cooker, and pour broth over the chicken. Next, place the soup, stuffing and water into a bowl and mix. Put on top of chicken, cook on low for seven hours.
-
Banana Split Salad
1 can eagle brand milk.
18oz carton cool whip.
3 bananas, cut up.
1 can cherry pie filling.
1 can crushed pineapple (drained).
1 pkg nuts.
Mix milk and cool whip together until stiff. Add remaining ingredients by hand. Blend well. Chill.
-
Zucchini Bread
3 eggs.
2 cups sugar.
1 cup oil.
2 cups zucchini, ground.
3 cups flour.
1 tsp salt.
1 tsp baking soda.
¼ tsp baking powder.
3 tsps vanilla.
3 tsps cinnamon.
½ cup nuts.
Mix together first 4 ingredients, then add remaining. This will make about 2 pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
-
Raw Apple Cake
Cake
½ cup oil.
2 cups sugar.
2 eggs.
1 tsp vanilla.
3 cups apples, sliced.
1 cup raisins (optional)
1 cup chopped nuts.
1 tsp baking soda.
3 cups flour.
½ tsp salt.
1 tsp cinnamon.
In a large bowl, beat oil, sugar, and eggs until well beaten. Add remaining ingredients, and mix with spoon. Pour into a greased 9x13in pan, and bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
Butter Sauce
1 cup sugar.
2 tbsp corn starch.
½ cup butter.
1 cup milk.
1 tsp vanilla.
Cook over low heat until thickened. Add a few drops yellow food coloring. Serve on cake while warm.
-
Hamburger Spaghetti Casserole (from her mother in law)
Small pkg hamburger meat.
1 lb box of Great Value spaghetti.
Small can whole kernel corn.
Large can cream of chicken soup.
Pack of Kraft cheese slices (I personally use shredded fiesta blend cheese instead, I think it tastes so much better but that's what the recipe calls for)
Cook noodles, brown hamburger and drain corn, then add it to the meat. Drain noodles. Mix noodles, meat and corn in the pan and add the soup. Mix. Spread mixture into a casserole dish. Cover and bake at 350° for an hour, or 45 minutes if it's a glass dish. 10 minutes before the timer goes off, layer the top with cheese and place back into the oven without covering it again.
-
Potato Salad
1 dozen boiled eggs.
1 stick margarine, softened.
1 tbsp mustard.
6 tbsps dill pickle juice.
1 tbsp sugar.
10 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and chopped finely.
½ dill pickle, chopped fine (use grater).
¼ cup cream or milk.
1 cup mayonnaise.
Salt & pepper to taste.
Onion flakes (optional).
Boil eggs, cutting in half lengthwise. Put the egg whites in a large bowl and the yolks in a medium bowl. Mash the egg yolks with a fork. Add margarine, mustard, pickle juice and sugar to the yolks, stir well. Add mayo to the egg yolk mixture, then stir in the cream/milk and the dill pickle. Set mixture aside. Prepare potatoes, add to egg whites bowl. Pour mixture over potatoes and egg whites and stir together. Salt and pepper to taste.
-
Lefse (from her mother-in-law)
8 cups potatoes, mashed.
1 tbsp salt.
¼ cup margarine or butter.
½ cup rich cream (or half-n-half).
2 tbsps sugar.
1 ½ cups flour.
Cook 5 lbs potatoes (8 cups), keeping skins on and running through a potato ricer before mashing. You can clean the skin out of the ricer with a fork. Add in the salt, margarine, sugar and rich cream. Set aside to cool. Once cooled, work flour well into potato mix. Take a small mound of the mixture and roll it out on a pastry cloth until thin. Only take so much out or it will get sticky. Bake it on a lefse iron/griddle; brown lightly on both sides (not brown completely; it’ll be brown spots).

Barbara Elaine Smith (August 24, 1949 – February 22, 2020), professionally known as B. Smith, was a restaurateur, model, author, businesswoman, and TV host. She began her career in modeling; participating in the Ebony Fashion Fair and signing with Wilhelmina Models agency. She was the first African-American model to be featured on the cover of Mademoiselle magazine. She made two appearances on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, once as a model for Queen Sara's wedding dress and once giving a tour of her restaurant, B. Smith, and making raspberry custard with Fred Rogers and her head chef, Henry. She taught child viewers about the importance of washing hands and shared the excitement of using huge bowls and mixers. She said her dream was to feed people, which began at an early age when she fed her dolls. Her weekly half-hour syndicated television show, B. Smith With Style, debuted in 1997 and aired weekdays on BTN and Bounce TV. It featured home decor and cooking segments. She accepted a role in the Off-Broadway play Love, Loss, and What I Wore. She owned multiple restaurants called B. Smith. The first opened in 1986, on Eighth Avenue at 47th Street in New York City, and moved around the corner to Restaurant Row on 46th Street; followed by another one in Sag Harbor, Long Island. She owned a restaurant in the historic Beaux-Arts Union Station In DC. She married twice and although she had no biological children, she was stepmother to Dana Gasby. Ingredients
185g unsalted butter
185g best dark chocolate
85g plain flour
40g cocoa powder
50g white chocolate
50g milk chocolate
3 large eggs
275g golden caster sugar
Method
STEP 1
Cut 185g unsalted butter into small cubes and tip into a medium bowl. Break 185g dark chocolate into small pieces and drop into the bowl.
STEP 2
Fill a small saucepan about a quarter full with hot water, then sit the bowl on top so it rests on the rim of the pan, not touching the water. Put over a low heat until the butter and chocolate have melted, stirring occasionally to mix them.
STEP 3
Remove the bowl from the pan. Alternatively, cover the bowl loosely with cling film and put in the microwave for 2 minutes on High. Leave the melted mixture to cool to room temperature.
STEP 4
While you wait for the chocolate to cool, position a shelf in the middle of your oven and turn the oven on to 180C/160C fan/gas 4.
STEP 5
Using a shallow 20cm square tin, cut out a square of non-stick baking parchment to line the base. Tip 85g plain flour and 40g cocoa powder into a sieve held over a medium bowl. Tap and shake the sieve so they run through together and you get rid of any lumps.
STEP 6
Chop 50g white chocolate and 50g milk chocolate into chunks on a board.
STEP 7
Break 3 large eggs into a large bowl and tip in 275g golden caster sugar. With an electric mixer on maximum speed, whisk the eggs and sugar. They will look thick and creamy, like a milk shake. This can take 3-8 minutes, depending on how powerful your mixer is. You’ll know it’s ready when the mixture becomes really pale and about double its original volume. Another check is to turn off the mixer, lift out the beaters and wiggle them from side to side. If the mixture that runs off the beaters leaves a trail on the surface of the mixture in the bowl for a second or two, you’re there.
STEP 8
Pour the cooled chocolate mixture over the eggy mousse, then gently fold together with a rubber spatula. Plunge the spatula in at one side, take it underneath and bring it up the opposite side and in again at the middle. Continue going under and over in a figure of eight, moving the bowl round after each folding so you can get at it from all sides, until the two mixtures are one and the colour is a mottled dark brown. The idea is to marry them without knocking out the air, so be as gentle and slow as you like.
STEP 9
Hold the sieve over the bowl of eggy chocolate mixture and resift the cocoa and flour mixture, shaking the sieve from side to side, to cover the top evenly.
STEP 10
Gently fold in this powder using the same figure of eight action as before. The mixture will look dry and dusty at first, and a bit unpromising, but if you keep going very gently and patiently, it will end up looking gungy and fudgy. Stop just before you feel you should, as you don’t want to overdo this mixing.
STEP 11
Finally, stir in the white and milk chocolate chunks until they’re dotted throughout.
STEP 12
Pour the mixture into the prepared tin, scraping every bit out of the bowl with the spatula. Gently ease the mixture into the corners of the tin and paddle the spatula from side to side across the top to level it.
STEP 13
Put in the oven and set your timer for 25 mins. When the buzzer goes, open the oven, pull the shelf out a bit and gently shake the tin. If the brownie wobbles in the middle, it’s not quite done, so slide it back in and bake for another 5 minutes until the top has a shiny, papery crust and the sides are just beginning to come away from the tin. Take out of the oven.
STEP 14
Leave the whole thing in the tin until completely cold, then, if you’re using the brownie tin, lift up the protruding rim slightly and slide the uncut brownie out on its base. If you’re using a normal tin, lift out the brownie with the foil. Cut into quarters, then cut each quarter into four squares and finally into triangles.
STEP 15
They’ll keep in an airtight container for a good two weeks and in the freezer for up to a month

@whitelace label holiday mixers where the best and worst parties. on the one hand, you had the chance to meet fellow rockers you've admired along side your face in the magazines. corroded coffin opened for a couple of the shared label musicians, so not all attendees caused the members to be starstruck. the worst part was the inevitable business sprinkled in by producers and reps for the upcoming year's line up. it was never enough your band topped at NO. 6 worldwide. you had to land such and such cover to nail a different demo and pump up ticket sales. you had to team up with such and such hot new producer to evolve your sound, keep with the ever changing times.
ed managed to escape the leeches by the skin of his teeth and retreat to the open balcony overlooking the twinkle lights of the city. the only signs of the season's merriment was the awful rock covers of classic tunes at his back meeting the icy chill of a winter's breeze tickling his nose. bringing a whiskey sour to his lips, he gulped it down. a grin curled over his mouth in such a way to remind himself of a familiar green holiday figure. " do you think they know that christmas doesn't come from a store? that christmas perhaps means a little bit more ..." hand to his chest, he mimed the growing of the grinch's heart three sizes.

Dazed and Confused - Shooting
Tumblr media
For this shoot, I had a planned for a ‘Mean Girls’ inspired cover. Taking from the film, I wanted to have as much pink on set as possible, and had asked my model to dress as such. In post I found I had struggled with the exposure for the models, having not been checking the photos while shooting. However, this was quite easily fixed in the edit for the magazine cover.
Example of contact sheets -
Tumblr media
In retouching I of course brightened the image as well as neutralised any pink colour cast from the background. I then used the spot-heal tool to erase bumps in the skin while focusing on avoiding an ‘airbrushing’ effect. I also used the colour mixer on cheeks to bring down any facial redness.
Final cover -

Interior Designing
Lighting The right lighting system can really make or break any space. A good lighting system makes a room feel brighter, bigger, and more spacious. There are many different types of lighting systems out there that range from fluorescent lighting, halogen lights, and LED bulbs. Each type of bulb offers something unique and each requires specific attention to detail. For example, LED bulbs offer a clear and bright light while still giving off less heat than traditional lighting options. However, they require some upfront cost and need to be carefully installed with proper ventilation. Fluorescent lighting provides a softer glow than its counterpart, however, it does not always provide consistent results. It also tends to cast shadows and can overheat furniture if not properly vented. Halogen bulbs produce a warm, yellowish-white light. These bulbs tend to look cheap but are commonly used in older spaces where aesthetics are not necessarily an issue.
Paint Color Choices When choosing paint colors for your home, it is important to consider what mood you want to create. If you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere, then choose soft pastel shades. If you’d rather have a bolder look, go for vibrant colors like orange and red. You can also play around with color combinations to give your space a unique feel. If you’ve got a lot of white space, then try using gray tones instead. Gray works well for spaces that don’t have tons of furniture or décor. To learn more about interior painting tips, check out our blog post here!
Cabinets Cabinets are one of those things that people often overlook when purchasing their first home. That’s ok though, since cabinets aren’t just for storage – they actually serve a purpose that goes beyond simply keeping items organized. Depending on how much time and money you plan to spend on them, cabinets can be used as a way to add texture or character to a space. Additionally, they also help define the space by serving as a visual barrier. Here are a few ways to use cabinets to your advantage: Add a touch of vintage charm - Go classic and simple with solid wood cabinets with old school hardware. Use darker colors like black, dark brown, or even dark blue to offset the lighter tones in the rest of the room. Make your kitchen more functional - Consider adding shelves below your countertops. Not only do these take up valuable real estate, but they can also help separate items that are being prepared at the same time. Shelves can also be used to store small appliances like blenders and mixers. Hide unwanted objects - Get creative with your cabinet doors. Instead of having plain, flat doors, consider getting unique ones with interesting textures. Or, if you already have boring doors, get new handles to change everything up! Keep your dining area clean - When you sit down to eat, you’ll notice that your table may be covered in crumbs and spills. Having a place to put those items away after eating helps keep clutter at bay. Also, have a trashcan nearby. You don’t want anything blocking a door or window, especially if you’re planning to leave the house soon. Use your cabinets wisely - Don’t forget about the backs of cabinets either. While your eye might be drawn to them, they are equally important to use. Think about organizing books, magazines, and knickknacks in the back. Another idea would be to install racks or hooks to hold extra linens. Just think outside the box when considering ways you can utilize what’s already in your cabinets. We hope these ideas inspire you to rethink your current storage solutions!
