本気で怒ること

デ～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～モンだ！！！
我輩はとても怒りっぽい。
いや、怒りっぽかった。
いや、やっぱ今も怒りっぽい。
どっちやねん。
我輩がその太古の昔、
まだ結婚していたころ、
我輩は妻に対し、たくさんたくさん怒った。
離婚したその当日も、これ以上ないほど激怒し、その勢いのまま市役所を訪れ、離婚届を提出した。
その後「とうとうやってしまった」「とんでもないことをしてしまった」「これから自分の人生はどうなってしまうのか」のような不安で心細い思いに駆られるのだが、今は離婚したことを全く後悔していないし、元に戻る気もない。
とてもカッコ悪いことを言うが、我輩は離婚した後、住んでいた家を出るまでに、２回ほど妻に「もう一度結婚してくれないか」と頼んだ。
みんなと、もちろん妻とも離れるのがとても寂しくて、「もう一回結婚してくれないかな」と妻に話したら、ぽろっと涙が出てしまった。
カッコ悪い。
情けない。
男らしくない。
そんな我輩を見て妻は、きっぱりと断った。
できません、と。
我輩はそのことに、心から感謝している。
我輩が激怒した、
怒り狂った、
発狂した、
テーブルを破壊した、
会社を休んで市役所に行った、
そこまでやってしまった我輩は、
それ相応の現実を受け止めねばならぬ。
厳しい現実を受け取らねばならぬ。
そこをごまかして、
そこを甘やかして、
我輩を許してしまっては、
我輩と再婚してしまっては、
我輩のためにならないのだ。
我輩は自分のやったこと、
やってきたことに対する責任を取らなければならなかった。
そして妻は、我輩にその責任をとるチャンスをくれた。
我輩の、復縁の望みを蹴ることで、我輩にチャンスをくれたのだ。
責任を取るチャンス。
現実を生きていくチャンス。
もっと良くなっていくチャンス。
新しい人生に向かっていくチャンス。
あのとき妻が我輩を受け入れ、
また結婚してくれていたら、
我輩は今、ここに立っていないだろう。
またあの家で、
同じようなことで、
同じように怒っていることだろう。
２０年近く繰り返してきたことが、
今も続いていることだろう。
それこそが、悲劇なのだ。
妻は、我輩に新しい人生をプレゼントしてくれた。
寂しいときもあるが、それは結婚しているときも同じだった。
人はいついかなる状況であっても、
寂しさを感じてしまう生き物なのだ。
それは人間の宿命なのだから、仕方ない。
我輩は今の自分が大好きだ。
離婚した自分が大好きだ。
離婚の際に、我輩が我輩に見せたもの。
こいつは離婚するとき、
離婚した後、
元家族にこんなふうにするんだな。
それは紛れもなく、希望であり誇りであった。

窮地に立たされたとき、
大ピンチに陥ったとき、
悲しい現実に直面したとき、
コイツが見せる輝きが大好きだ。
妻はそれを引き出してくれた。
本当に離婚して、本当に離れなければわからない、
我輩の知らない我輩の一面を、わからせてくれた。
だから妻には感謝しかないのだ。
実は今でも、
ちょっとだけ、
ほんのちょっとだけ、
「なんでいつもそんなにおれに無関心なんだよ」
って悲しい気持ちもあるんだけどね。
それでもやはり、その何万倍もあるのが、
「ありがとう」って気持ち。
おれと出会ってくれてありがとう。
おれと結婚してくれてありがとう。
おれの子供を３人も産んでくれてありがとう。
いろんなところへ連れて行ってくれてありがとう。
社会不適合者のおれと仲良くしてくれてありがとう。
いろんなことがあっても、楽しそうに笑ってくれててありがとう。
いろんなことがあっても、離れずにそばにいてくれてありがとう。
離婚してくれて、ありがとう。
我輩が今、ここに立っているのは、妻、
もとい、元妻のおかげだ。
我輩は彼女なしでは、ここに辿りつけなかった。
２２年も我輩と一緒に生きてくれた妻と、別れる。
そのことで我輩は我輩のことが、もっともっと好きになったのだ。
そして妻のことだけでなく、
悲しいときに本気で怒れた自分のことも、
我輩は誇りに思っている。
我輩の怒りは、すべてを破壊した。
すべてを台無しにした。
しあわせな結婚生活を、我輩は自分でめちゃくちゃにぶっ壊したのだ。
しかしたったひとつだけ、守れたものがある。
たったひとつだけ、救えたものがある。
我輩の中にいる、小さなこども。
「バカにしないでよ！」
「無視しないでよ！」
「なんでそんなに冷たくするの！」
「なんでおねがい、きいてくれないの！」
「なんでぼくのこと、傷つけるの？！」
「ひどいよ！！！」
そんな自分勝手でわがままで、
どうしようもない子を、我輩は助けることができた。
この子は、我輩にしか見えぬ。
この子の声は、我輩にしか聴けぬ。
つまりこの子を助けることができるのは、我輩しかおらぬ。
これを専門用語でインナーチャイルドという。
誰にでもいる。
内なる子供。
突然ここでニュースに戻るが、
怒り狂い暴言を吐いたコーチは、こうして世間様に対し謝罪をし、反省の弁を述べることになったが、きっと彼は、誰かを救ったのだと思う。
それが誰なのかはわからない。
それはどこかのいちファンかもしれないし、
彼のインナーチャイルドかもしれないし、
デッドボールを受けた村上宗隆選手かもしれないし、
チームメイトの誰かなのかもしれない。
彼のその怒りは、きっと誰かのことを、
たったひとりの誰かのことを、救った。
『ぼくのためにそこまで怒ってくれてありがとう』
誰かのために真剣になって、我をわすれるほど怒ること。
それは神性な行為だ。
「感情をコントロールできないヤツは最低だ」だと？
はあ？？？
感情のままに突き進まなければわからないこともあるだろう。
感情のままに突き進まなければ辿りつけなかった場所もあるだろう。
感情のままに突き進まなければ助けられなかった人がいるだろう。
おれたちは、生きているんだよ。
なにが「感情をうまくコントロールする」だ。
生きるってことは、そんなすまし顔でやっていくようなことなのか。
きれいごとだけで成り立っていくようなものなのか。
われを忘れて、
夢中になるから、
一生懸命になるから、
怒るから、
笑うから、
冷静じゃないから、
バカになるから、
だから生きるってことは、素晴らしいんじゃないのか。
冷静さは必要。
聡明さも必要。
コントロールも必要。
でもそれだけじゃダメであろう。
ときには、ちゃぶ台ひっくり返して、
ビルをしっぽで叩き壊して、
口から放射能を吐いて街を破壊する。
徹底的に破壊する。
そういうことも、ときには必要であろう。
たったひとりの誰かを守るために。
たったひとりの誰かを救うために。
小さな小さな、自分にしか視えない、なにかのために。
幻想のような、なにかのために。
そういう、か弱いもののために生きられないのだとしたら、
みんなに見えるものしか見ようとしないのだとしたら、
貴様が貴様として生きている意味などないであろう。
