So at first I kinda felt bad for Chiwa Saito, voice of Patty for Tales of Vesperia. It was her first Tales of Festival and she was kinda forced into being assistant announcer just because they needed someone to do it. It looked like she had fun though and I was really happy to see her. After my recent replay of Vesperia I really like Patty a lot! Still, she was kinda flustered at times I think.

But Noriko Shitaya was also there voicing Lailah, who took over for Miyu Matsuki after she passed away. She really looked like she wanted to be there, she never thought they would ask her to come, and she was so happy people welcomed her and screamed "LAILAHHH!!" And at the end, she had this whole speech about how together the two of them are one Lailah.

And then immediately after that Onosaka asked Chiwa Saito how her first Tales of Festival was, the camera switched to her and she was crying. She was really moved by Noriko Shitaya and it set her off on a really rambly speech about how she didn't feel like she was a team member of Vesperia for the longest time since Patty was a character added later. It was only recently, at her first event (the Vesperia anniversary party) that she started to feel like she was finally a part of them.

Personality: Miyu is very sweet and caring. Sometimes she is overprotective with Mikleo and Sorey

Biography: Miyu was created for being a malak (or seraph) of an exorcist. Since she was a malak of an exorcist she knew Laphicet (or originally called Nigou), she knew many malak like her. But, her exorcist wasn’t kind with her, if she failed a mission or something, they will hit her. At first she didn’t care because she hadn’t emotions (and for who played Tales of Berseria can understand why). But one day, her exorcist hit her with their weapon, almost killing her and abandoning her. She was found then by Velvet and co. who healed her. Miyu recognized Laphicet and for thanking the group she decided to help them with her mission. Staying with them makes Miyu feel emotions, mostly thanks to Laphicet who taught to her. They become more close than before and, at the end of their adventure, Laphicet gave his pendant to Miyu as a sign of their friendship. After that Miyu decided to protect the temple where there was Laphicet, so she lived in the future country that will be Camlann, and in there she will know Michael and subsequently Mikleo and Sorey.

Curiosity: -her name is for remember Miyu Matsuki, a girl who dubbed Lailah in the game of Tales of Zestiria, she died some months later the game come out

-Laphicet is like a little brother for her

-in the age of Tales of Berseria she will use only mystic art, after some years she will start to use the stick(?)

The official website for the Tales of Zestiria the X anime series began streaming two versions of a promotional video on Saturday for the anime's second season.

The first video below is for those who haven't yet seen the first season, and the second video is for those who have already seen the first season. Only the last 40 seconds of the two videos differ.

The season will premiere on the Tokyo MX channel on January 8 at 11:00 p.m., and it will also run on BS11, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, Okayama Broadcasting, Kochi Sun Sun Broadcasting, and TV Aichi. The anime will also stream on the Niconico and Abema TV services for free in Japan, as well as on various video-on-demand services.

Daisuki will stream the anime worldwide outside of China and Japan, starting on January 8. Funimation will stream the English simuldub starting on January 22 at 10:00 p.m. EST.

The cast is returning from the original game and the first season, except Noriko Shitaya has replaced Miyu Matsuki as Lailah in both anime seasons. Matsuki passed away in November 2015.

Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Zestiria: Dōshi no Yoake, Tales of Symphonia the Animation) is directing both seasons at ufotable, and ufotable is also writing the scripts. Akira Matsushima (Tales of Symphonia the Animation, Tales of Zestiria: Dōshi no Yoake) is adapting the original game character designs from Mutsumi Inomata, Kousuke Fujishima, Daigo Okumura, and Minoru Iwamoto for animation, and Motoi Sakuraba and Gō Shiina are composing the music. Singer Minami is performing the new season's opening theme song, and FLOW is performing the ending theme song "Innosense."
