Once again thinking about au’s of other heroes trying to figure out Spidey’s identity and getting way off base:

MJ has a stint as a fashion model for a bit and only trusted Peter to take her photos (worried about being sabotaged by other people in the industry)

And she makes sure to drill into his head all the stuff that she’s modeling as well as any other fashion things she thinks he needs to know about (a mix of what she just wants him to know, and so that no one can try and say he doesn’t belong there)

So it keeps coming out every now and then that Spiderman is weirdly knowledgeable about fashion trends and designers and stuff, and everyone has different theories for why he would know all that

Harry Osborn fundamentally comes accross to me as emotionally mixed up. I don't think he can fully understand or express the full breadth of his love and anguish, and so his bottled up emotions come out as bitterness and anger. And who can blame him after years of his youth were spent grief stricken, pained, and isolated? I mean, things were going so well for him! But suddenly, from his point of view, everything he wants is within his view but so out of reach; the Emily-May Foundation, his own health, his father's love, and most of all, Peter. Everything he covets is being taken away. Then he hears his mother tell him to make his dream come true. The same woman that said Harry and Peter make each other better. It kills me that the integral caveat of Harry's dream is that he wants–or even needs–to be united with Peter. To heal the world together. He finally has the chance to be strong and change the world for the better, but that's not enough. It means so much that his pain manifested through Venom not as a need for vengeance, but as a sheer certainty that he and Peter will be together. Peter is undeniably Harry's favorite person, and "brothers" is probably only a sliver of how he feels. Either way, it's evident that Harry loves Peter, terribly. His love for Peter gave him the strength to suffer through years of medical treatments, and it gave him the strength to fight past Venom and tell Peter that he doesn't want to suffer anymore. I think he already knew that Peter loved him, but at the end, he got to hear it. And in his last fading moment, he is united with Peter, and they heal the world together.

I have nothing more to add. I'm just speechless at this point. Their love healed the world. Thank you Insomniac Games.

In an AU where everything is the same except Tony survived the snap in Endgame, MJ and Ned are both very aware that something is up with their memories. Huge, overlapping chunks of their lives are gone. And Spider-Man has something to do with it.

The only public figure Spider-Man has ever been closely associated with is Tony Stark. In need of answers, and not the types to just let something like this go, the kids hack and heist their way somehow onto Tony Stark's secret lake house property. It's weird that no alarms go off when they get close, but they manage it. They're about to knock, when Tony Stark, savior of the universe, opens the door.

He does not look great. Aside from the general post-battle healing and the fact that they have literally caught him at home, there's just something...off. It doesn't take long for them to realize that it's the same thing that's off with them, too.

Something important has been taken from all of their lives. Someone.

After Tony calms down from his initial freak-out, MJ and Ned (though mostly MJ) manage to convince him pretty quickly. The fact that FRIDAY never alarmed because they're in her system already is a huge point to their side. 

And, the fact that he agrees with them. He survived the battle, everything should be fine. But something is so, very wrong. He's grieving someone he doesn't even know.

So, a new team is born. A trio united to find their shared missing person, the eraser mark in their memories none of them can bear to lose, all for different reasons.

They don't have much to go on, but Tony agrees with them on one thing: Spider-Man is involved somehow. And that's a good place to start.

ended up doodling a design for my newrival fankid, kaho ( she / they. ) she'd be around 5 years old in scarvio, but i also drew what she looks like during her pokémon journey.

they quite a lot like wally when he was younger, being on the shyer side and struggling with self-confidence. a lot of people expect her to follow in her parents' footsteps by either becoming a gym leader or champion, but she's always dreamed of becoming a top coordinator like her auntie lisia. the only issue is that they suffer from stage fright so their journey focuses on them learning to overcome their fears and achieve their dreams with the help of their friends, family, and pokémon!

“BioWare Continues to Refuse to Pay Severance On August 23 of this year, BioWare eliminated “approximately 50 roles at BioWare”. Following the layoffs, seven ex-BioWare employees engaged the services of R. Alex Kennedy to represent their interests, stating that the amount of severance offered was insufficient under Alberta common law. Counsel for the employees has attempted to reach a compromise that would avoid requiring lengthy court proceedings, but BioWare’s lawyers refused any offers to negotiate and settle out of court. The basis of Kennedy’s claim is that according to Alberta precedents and under Canadian law, these employees should be receiving approximately 1.7 months of severance per year of service they gave to BioWare. BioWare has now filed a Statement of Defence, which argues that the seven terminated employees are only entitled to two weeks of severance per year spent in service to BioWare, because of a contract provision that Kennedy says is not enforceable. The filing means BioWare will be taking these former employees to court rather than working towards finding an out of court resolution. The developers involved in the suit have expressed their disappointment: - “We are disappointed that BioWare prefers stalling and intimidation tactics to fair dealing with people who have given years, and in some cases decades, of dedication and hard work to the company.” - “We believe they are using intimidation and stalling tactics to try and get us to drop out. Tactics like that sure make me think that BioWare knows it is in the wrong.” - “Despite what they publicly announced when they laid us off, this process has been anything but empathetic, respectful, and communicative.” The latest BioWare layoffs were the third round so far this year, and many of the developers affected even in earlier rounds are still searching for work, though some have started to find new positions. Regardless of employment status, the members of the current lawsuit state they remain determined to pursue BioWare in court, regardless of their employment status: - “We strongly believe that if Dragon Age: Dreadwolf does not do as well as BioWare or EA wants at launch, there will be more, even larger layoffs. I think it’s be funny to have a Spider-Man that is genuinely just a kid, not like a teenager or a kid who understands the gravity of his abilities but a kid who does heroics simply because that’s cool to a kid.

The gimmick is that the villains think it’s a gimmick and Spider-Man(?) fucks with them by acting like a kid to make ‘em feel bad or embarrass them only for them to realize he’s a literal child due to a forced team up where they like offer him a brewski afterwards and he’s legitimately like “Mr I am 9 years old, I just do this cause my aunt can’t take me to the park every afternoon.” And they grill him on adult things and he sits there just blanking cause he’s fucking 9.

Gwen's awkward behaviour with Rio and Jeff makes sense when you consider that she a) has no other friends and her Peter's Aunt May was regularly at her home, there was enough familiarity that she was on a first name basis with May, and b) the only other adults in her life are her work colleagues in the Spider Society and everyone is on a first name basis there

she's 16 and has exactly no idea how to approach Miles' parents because her social circle started off extremely limited and then went straight into the outright bizarre after she ran away from home - it makes sense for her to have a skewed sense of what would be polite when introducing herself to a friend's parents

Ngl, I usually get disinterested in romantic fanfics/fancomics/etc... after the two main characters get together because to me the fun is all the shenanigans that come before that point... Ask-spiderpool is one of the only exceptions I've found because everything after is still so interesting !! The drama ! The miscommunications ! These boys still have a long way to go and the plot is still alive and well and I am here for it <3 You just make them so interesting. They have so many issues. I love them
