The dissonance jars Adrien’s ears, and he can hear a displeased, Plagg-esque squawk from somewhere in the room; but rather than chide, Adrien simply smiles at the little boy whose chubby fingers are responsible for the racket. “What’s this one called?” “Robot Smash,” Louis says, very seriously. His black hair, as straight and glossy as his mother’s, is growing long; his bangs are starting to fall in his eyes. “Make it echo, Dad!” Adrien grins and obliges, stretching his leg to the damper pedal, far past where his son’s dangling feet can reach. Even if Louis hopped off the bench and stood up, it’d be impossible for the four-year-old to comfortably press the pedal and the keys at the same time. “One echo coming right up.” Louis tentatively presses a pointer finger to the G under middle C. When, upon releasing the key, the note lingers in the air at Adrien’s command, Louis perks up. He eagerly bounces his fingers around, generating sporadic staccato; seconds and thirds and sometimes accidental seventh chords ringing like harsh, chaotic bells with no evident tempo or pattern. It’s strikingly terrible, but Adrien closes his eyes and lets each note sustain, only occasionally lifting the pedal when the dissonance becomes too overwhelming. The notes, horrid as they are, nevertheless compose a familiar song. He remembers his fourteen-year-old self slamming tightened fingers on pristine white keys in anger, banging the piano in his prison of a room as hard as he possibly could, demanding—no, screaming to be heard, to be seen, to be acknowledged. One of the few acts of rebellion he dared commit against his father, knowing that Gabriel would never completely forbid him from touching the piano no matter how harshly he treated it. One of the few songs that past Adrien could pour his heart and soul into, because it was the only one that truly captured what he was feeling at the time. A particularly jarring bass octave—is the piano starting to go flat?—rattles Adrien out of his melancholy thoughts. With a start, he opens his eyes. “BOOM!” Louis exclaims, his legs swinging back and forth excitedly. He lets go of the octave, which, of course, required the effort of both his hands. “That’s the big one,” he says matter-of-factly, sliding on the bench to get closer to his father. “And now the robots ’sploded.” “You bet they did!” Adrien laughs. “That was crazy.” “What on earth are you teaching him to play, Adrien?” At the accusatory tone, both father and son whirl around, though only Louis can make a full one-eighty. In the doorway connecting the living room and the kitchen, her apron dusted liberally with flour, Marinette stands with one hand on her hip. Her head is tilted sternly, but telltale merriment shines in her eyes. Adrien grins at his wife. “Don’t worry, Marinette. We’re having a blast.” “BOOM,” Louis repeats, with a giggle. She snorts, and waves them into the kitchen. “I’m sure. Well, the dough is ready if you want to help me make rolls for dinner tonight.” “All right, Mom,” Adrien calls, with a brighter grin and a cheery salute. “Come on, Louis, let’s roll.” His wife groans, his son laughs, and Adrien lets go of the damper pedal at last—the final echoes of the song fading into memory once more. ~

It was a little hurt/comfort thing about Luke/Callista from Children of the Jedi, because I’m nothing of not predictable.

Stupid thought because I am very sick right now and just swigged a shot of dayquil straight from the bottle like a somehow even more faggoty version of a sick Jack Sparrow - I wonder how accurately I could measure volumes of liquid in my mouth and how well I could get calibrated if I practiced for a bit? Songbird's Possible Powers

As Bagua is planned to have 2 powers, to avoid doing multiple polls, I'll have it set that the winner and 2nd place winner of the polls will be the 2 powers.

Pitch Perfect: have influence over sound, can be used once to muffle the whole world for a short time or be a big sound burst, or could use it more often and selectively, adjusting the noise you and your allies can make.

Little Birds: arrows you fire turn into little birds (what kind depends on the user), the birds can be used for long range communication and spying, able to echo what they hear. All are magically connected and act as semi sentient walkie talkies.

Second Wind: give a literal second wind, someone wore out will be reinvigorated, someone scared will find their courage, and hero wise, have the ability to reset/restore another hero's power even when they should be used up.

Freestyle: have the literal ability to walk (and run) on air, go where you please in the open air.

Hi, I did this sketches of Eagle and Uncanny Valley from Miraculous New York. And I think that I have an idea of who and how would have the miraculous. First of all: Aeon Hill aka Uncanny Valley wishes could have the thunderbird miraculous.

You would think why? She’s a machine. She couldn’t see the Kwai or hear them.

I’ll tell you why: even though she’s an androide, she is capable to think and learn as a human, the only thing is she thinks that is all machine created by Majestia, but what if I’ll tell you that she couldn’t be made by her own mother, I mean she made clear that she’s not human, so she could have another origins like outer space, maybe she could be sort of alien or even she could be more person that’s machine. But that’s the thing: she has to believe that she is her own person with her own ideas, and once she recognizes herself not a human, a living being. Then she would be able to see the kwamis. And she would use the thunderbird that represents the “will” or “libre albedrío”.

Besides in the episode of Startrain, Markov didn’t say anything about not being able to see Kaalki, and even he seemed he was able to see the Kwami, so I don’t matter if you aren’t a machine what if matters if you are capable of feel. And Markov had showed that a couple times, even he was able to make a wish with the miraculouses of ladybug and cat noir.

Besides, searching about the name of Aeon, which means “unlimited power that long last ever” and Uncanny valley that’s means “not at all human because of the theory of th Uncanny Valley in robotics”

And searching about the thunderbird, is a mythical creature of great power, beyond the earth and it was the messenger of the gods, and that made me remind about the special of New York that she acted such as messenger between ladybug and cat noir.

I’m still thinking on the design.
