Scars like a Red Thread

Marinette Dupain-Cheng hates Damian Wayne with a passion. Firstly because of their shared past, and secondly, because of the scars they had on their hands: a tiny pale line on the skin between their ring and pinky fingers. If one of them dies, the other's scar bleeds and burns as a symbol of their marriage bond. One day, Ladybug dies for the first time at the hands of an akuma.

So I feel like some important context for the Second Chances fic idea (see my earlier poll) is that it's also a symbiote!miraculous fic, in addition to being a bio!parents fic:

clearly people want to see the end of As Luck Would Have It, so I've been working on that one to finish up what I already had written and clean it up to publish. but. but-

I am gleefully excited by the idea of a fic where Tikki is an immortal symbiote creature who's just half sage advice and wisdom from extended life experience and half just like: this is my emotional support human. I apologize if she sometimes reacts erratically. I'm told it has something to do with these "emotions". I don't really understand it either.

Chloé focused - Lots of ballet-heavy scenes when it's focused on her life outside of Honey Bee. She'll probably also frequent Boulangeire Dupain-Cheng often, just to see Marinette.

Emo x Prep, "She was a punk, she did ballet", DUH. Chloé is the head-over-heels sunshine who likes to look on the bright side of things, Marinette is quiet and pessimistic and is intimidated/put-off by Chloé's positivity rather than a victim of 'bullying'. Chloé tries very hard to be Mari's friend and Mari has none of it.

Other Lana songs? why not.

*Depending on whether this is pre- or post- paris special, Honey can either work for the Resistance or Supreme, whatever the opposite of Shadybug is. Or maybe they work together, and she doesn't fall for the enemy after all?

FIC SERIES IDEA: MIRACULOUS PRIMORDIAL UNIVERSE

For awhile now I've been thinking about a fic series idea for Miraculous. Initially, I've thought about setting it in the movie-verse by expanding it but now I think I'd like to create a universe inspired by the concept art and ideas for Miraculous. The backgrounds and characterizations heavily lean more to the Awakening movie-verse though (which seems to be more inspired by the initial concept art). As well as some details, elements and events in the show

It's neither a fix-it nor a rewrite. It's just gonna be me going crazy and having fun world building a different universe entirely since y'know, the Paris special confirmed that there's a multiverse and everything now

So if anyone's interested, I hope you'll enjoy the ride one day and even if you don't, that's okay. I'm just gonna keep on vibing and have fun with my crazy ideas

And of course, the Love Square is gonna be endgame but it's gonna be one hell of a roller coaster ride for them. Nonetheless, they'll get there because they are and always will be Stronger Together

Miraculous AU where after Gabriel made a wish, Felix replaces Adrien as the protagonist.

Everyone lost their memories. They're all like NPCs. They don't remember anything, but they feel like they do. Things are new only if you remember they didn't happen.

The only one who remembers anything is actually Marinette.

Resurrecting both Emilie and Nathalie didn't directly kill anyone, but took a few years from everyone. All citizens are unaware they lost a part of their lives. Some people even died early.

And the new Monarch (surprisingly not Lila) wants to bring back the old world.

I could go on, I think Mike being spiderman is fun too cause he's definitely the type to bug Will randomly hanging upside down in front of Will when he's not patrolling and Will wouldn't be the usual happy cinnamon roll that he is, he would just glare at Mike because in Will's eyes, he's not Mike. I want a multi-crossover miraculous au where the "big bad"s of the other fandoms consistently kidnap Marinette. But Marinette (aged anywhere between 16 - 26) has OP Guardian Powers™ and escapes every time.

Bonus Points if the kidnappers have varying relationships with Marinette:

- Kidnapper 1 uses threats and Marinette is very tired of it

- Marinette, however, will stay and have tea with Kidnapper 2, who tries to gain her favor through flattery and bribery. (At this point, it's less of a kidnapping and more of a hangout with a friend. It's a scheduled event in Maris calendar, every Wednesday at 4 pm.)

- Kidnapper 3 fights Marinette, claiming that if they win, she'll work with them/hand over the Miracle Box

- Kidnapper 4 hangs her over a vat of acid. Marinette does not like Kidnapper 4.

When the heroes/protagonists of (selected crossover series) find out about this, preferably via a nonchalant Marinette, they're reasonably horrified.

The problem with babysitting your siblings during patrol is that they get reckless. Just because there's an unknown force saving them without them realizing it, they get complacent.

For example, they lose their fair share of Batarangs.

More specifically, Damian loses a lot of Batarangs.

Inari scowls when she finds another one sitting near the edge of a rooftop. Isn't a Batarang supposed to come back to you?! Why don't you ever pick up after yourself Robin?

She slips it into her collection and jumps down into a street to follow Robin. Casting her invisibility, she waits until he's in an alley with a dead end before flicking the blades one by one.

Fwoop.

One pins down the corner of his cape. Robin halts, pinned into place. "What---" He draws his sword. "Who's there?!"

Fwoop. Fwoop. Fwoop.

Before he can register what's happening, more Batarangs fly by, attaching him to the wall until he can no longer move. His katana drops to the ground when one of the Batarangs catch his gloves and trap him to the wall.

"Show yourself!" Robin growls.

Inari doesn't move from her hiding place. Instead, she snaps a photo with her staff and turns on her earpiece to secretly tune in the family comms line. Unfortunately for Robin, he's not able to turn on his comms.

"Has anybody heard from Robin?" Batman asks.

Inari watches with amusement as Robin tries to reach for his ear but fails miserably.

"He went west, right?" Says Red Robin.

"Red Hood, you're nearest. Check in on his location."

Inari grins and leans back to wait for Jason. Red Hood drops into the alley in no time, takes one look at Robin, and doubles over laughing.

"What---what happened to you?!" Red Hood cackles.

"They appeared out of nowhere!" Robin struggles against the Batarangs. "I am guessing that they are my lost Batarangs."

Red Hood snorts. "They came back to haunt you?"

"This is not a laughing matter, Hood! Free me!"

Red Hood snickers. "Hold on a sec." He puts a finger to his helmet. "Hey, Replacement? Yeah, I did. You have to come here . . . No I won't say why. Just come here."

Next, it's Red Robin's turn to laugh at Robin, who glares and flails.

"Take these away!" Robin yells.

"Yeah, yeah, in a minute." The two vigilantes move to his side and Red Robin snaps a quick photo.

Inari smiles to herself proudly. Lesson learned, Damian.

Miraculous Awakening was absolutely amazing. The lore? Amazing. The characters? Wonderful. The animation? GORGEOUS! And as a musical lover, I was pleasantly surprised, and while Marinette's voice was jarring at first it was still beautiful.

Also the memes. The inclusion of memes. It was wonderfully chaotic.

Look, I have not seen season 5 of MLB yet (I will when I have the time to bing), but this movie was more satisfying than the seven years I have been watching the show.
