MM Classpecting: Jumin
Zen Classpect
Yoosung Classpect
Jaehee Classpect
Personality/General Info: Likes mature topics, business, workaholic. Has abandonment issues (?) and why he clings to his cat so much. Distrustful and emotionally closed off from women. Quiet, serious, cautious. Still likes to joke and learn slang. Kinda childish with RFA members in a gap-moe way, especially with Zen who he teases a lot (has his own sense of humor). Views situations objectively. Works Jaehee to the bone, but Jumin’s workload is more than hers. Jumin doesn’t care about people’s opinions of him, living his life in the way he thinks is right. Will help RFA members by using his resources with no hesitation. Has an interest in cross-stitching and magic grimoires.
Actually feels too many emotions, but pushes them down to be efficient at work. Is extremely lonely and paranoid because of this, uses work and cat to cope, and views himself as a monster. Trusted V and had feelings for Rika. Cares about family. Trusts Jaehee and Yoosung. Is displeased by Saeyoung's treatment of Elizabeth the 3rd. Considers Zen a friend, even though they bicker.
Role in Narrative: Peacemaker of the RFA with his logical thinking. Uses resources due to his wealth to help members (sending bodyguards to RFA, coordinating Mint Eye mission in secret endings, searching for V in bad endings when he goes missing).
Active or Passive: He is passive. He does things to benefit others. In the CS he gives advice to MC and members, particularly in Zen’s route. Wanted to help him further his career. Sends MC to Zen’s house when he was sad about his injury to take care and cheer him up. Constantly trying to help V regain his eye-sight, offering doctors that could help him.
Classpect - Seer of Light: One who knows Light, or knows through Light for others.
Yes he is Rose Lalonde kin. Spread the word.
How this applies to Jumin: Loves learning new things, even outside of his work in C&R. Loves to provide knowledge to others, and has concrete opinions on things that are not easily changed. He provides advice and resources, but doesn’t get into the action. His view of the world is shattered when he finds out V’s lies, and this shakes him up greatly. His inner world is complicated due to him repressing his emotions. He is lonely and paranoid due to this, fitting with the shortcomings of a Seer. Is open to speak with V and assist him with healing his eyes. Doesn’t force him, just gives him the opportunity to see a doctor for it (passive). Willing to speak to Zen in Zen’s route about their relationship, and offers opportunities (passive), but doesn’t force him to take it. Leads the Mint Eye mission with advice and directs orders from the sidelines. He sees the world in black and white terms when it comes to women. He thinks that all women are only interested in his money, with the sole exception of Rika and then eventually MC. In his route, he has to learn to listen to the opinions of others and to deconstruct his rigid worldview.
This is what the Hiveswap Extended Zodiac has to say about the Light Aspect:
"Those bound to the aspect of Light are the universe's knowledge-seekers. They are, above all, driven to learn and understand. They are great alchemists, able to take multiple sources of information and synthesize them into something useful. They are scholars and researchers, absolutely dedicated to knowledge for knowledge's sake. They are the ultimate students, and although that might conjure up the image of people sitting around peacefully waiting for knowledge to be brought to them, that couldn't be further from the truth. The Light-bound will go after knowledge with a fierce intensity that others may find distasteful. They aren't overly concerned with laws or norms, either. They often take rules as simple suggestions, instead searching for loopholes or work-arounds. At their best, the Light-bound are resourceful and driven. At their worst they can be fussy, pedantic, and insensitive."
I personally think Light symbolizes knowledge, luck and relevancy.
How this applies to Jumin: Dude this man likes sharing knowledge. In DS he even reads MC a storybook (a big reference to Nameless). He reads magic grimoires, likes learning slang, and in general deeply into his interests. Shares this knowledge with Yoosung too, by getting him to work in C&R. Jaehee states in her After Ending that despite how hard it was to work for Jumin, she learned so much about how to manage a business. He imparts this knowledge to benefit others. In Another Story he writes a book series about how he does business! He is directly imparting knowledge on a large scale! Light symbolizes both relevance and luck as well. He is very relevant in the plot, being the childhood friend of V and having a crush on Rika, who are both big players in the main story. He is also relevant in general within the world of MM because he is a CEO-in-line with C&R. ALSO, Jumin seeks to know the truth. He hates being deceived by women for his money. He hates being deceived by V, wanting to find out the truth behind his strange behavior. He actively seeks it out, but not too forcefully.
Looking at his route, Jumin's arc is about listening to others opinions. This is something that Seers are known to struggle with if their opinion differs from others. He also begins to struggle with feelings of paranoia over MC when Elizabeth the 3rd goes missing, essentially trapping her in his penthouse. Jumin begins to think of all the things that could go wrong if MC leaves. This was brought on since Jumin was unhealthily projecting his feelings for Rika onto Elly. His rationality goes out the window here, and can get worse in bad endings. These are pit-falls Seers must avoid, if Jumin doesn't sort through his 'tangled up feelings', this obsessiveness could harm the people around him. This would of course affect the insight he could provide. How can he give others advice when his vision is completely clouded? By understanding others opinions, his world view can expand beyond its black and white thinking, and develop his insights further. You could say he sort of does this in Zen's route when they both reconcile, reaching an understanding between each other.
As a Seer of Light, much like Rose Lalonde, he would provide advice in areas he is familiar with, and wields his relevance as CEO-in-line, his money and resources, to support Saeyoung and MC on their mission to save Saeran in the SEs.

Hello dear Faye! Thanks so much for all the hard work you put in this blog! Idon't know if it's still free but I wanna try make a request for the event (also congratulations on reaching 300!), so what about Mixtape for Yoosung (maybe about how was for him meeting all the members, especially seven and zen, but I don't know if it's okay, if not, of course, feel free to skip!)
Love ya and thank you!
Thank you! I really love writing for these guys and it still surprises me that so many people enjoy reading what I have to say.
As for the request, I'm so happy I got to write for Yoosung for this event! His relationships with the different RFA members have always been interesting to me, so getting to write about them is a treat.
Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy the fic!

✧ Mixtape ~ Relationship towards their friends
It has always been a point of pride for Yoosung that he was there for the creation of the RFA. That, save for V and Rika herself, he was the first member. It was with him while handing out lunches that she worked out the idea, it was him who suggested the name. He had finally found his joy in volunteering, and the idea of hosting parties to raise funds on a large scale was exciting to him (and, let's face it, more glamorous than the work he had been doing before).
He has vivid memories of his first meetings with each of the members, and how the addition of each new person changed the dynamic of the group.
He still remembers being sceptical when Rika brought up her first idea for a new RFA member: a longtime childhood friend of V’s, apparently someone with money and influence.
She conveniently forgot to mention that this friend was none other than the Jumin Han. The same man whose face had stared up at him from one of his mother's finance magazines this morning. He only wished he had been warned beforehand. He felt very inadequate being introduced to Jumin in his hoodie and sneakers.
On the other hand, Jumin looked as if he had stepped straight off of that magazine cover, with his impeccable suit and not a hair out of place. V was already there, and they stood together in the back of the room, talking between themselves quietly, with a familiarity that Yoosung found baffling.
Despite Yoosung's halting introduction and obvious anxiety, Jumin was polite and kind. His language was strangely old-fashioned for someone his age. He asked Yoosung about his plans for the future and expressed his desire to do good through the RFA.
As time went on, Yoosung found himself becoming more comfortable around Jumin and their conversations carried on more smoothly. To his delight, Yoosung noticed that there were strange gaps in Jumin’s knowledge base. Things like fast food and public transport were mysteries to Jumin, and he would ask Yoosung to explain them to him, as if he had appeared from another world (and, as Rika reminded him, he might as well have).
At around the same time, Rika recruited a young, quiet redhead who introduced himself as Seven. If that name was strange to anyone else, they didn't let on. His eyes were wide behind chunky glasses and unlike Jumin, he didn’t offer much about himself save for his name. He was also strangely comfortable around V and Rika, though, as if they had known each other for a long time. This only confused Yoosung furhter, because neither V or Rika had ever mentioned him before.
He wasn't sure what to make of Seven. It was obvious that he was incredibly skilled (proven by the experimental RFA app they had started using to communicate). But he never flaunted this intelligence, as Jumin was sometimes prone to doing. Instead, he leaned heavily into his sense of humour, spamming the chat with memes and playing pranks on the other members. When he spoke to Yoosung, he kept his tone light, and he rarely discussed serious topics with anyone other than V and Rika.
They became fast friends. Since they were the closest in age, they bonded over pop culture and found out that they were fans of the same franchises. They shared jokes between themselves and eventually started meeting up to spend time together. Seven even offered to help Yoosung with schoolwork if he ever needed it.
Yet, he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something he was missing about Seven.
He had known of Zen for a while before Rika tried to recruit him. She had been a fan of his for some time and whenever they spent time together, he would hear about the latest show, the tickets she and V were trying to get. Finally, she convinced him to join them.
He didn’t want to like Zen, just on principle. Nobody should be, could be that perfect, right? There had to be something wrong with him somewhere, and he was determined to spot it. What he did not expect was to come out of the show speechless. Zen was an incredible singer and actor, and far too handsome for his own good. When Rika brought him backstage to greet him, he was humble and thankful for her praise. It simply wasn’t fair.
It was a surprise to have him become an official member of the RFA a little while later. Yoosung couldn’t imagine him being anywhere other than on a stage, and being in the same room as him was disorienting.
He did not expect to get along so well with Zen. They didn't have much in common, yet they enjoyed talking to each other about their lives. Zen encouraged him to keep working hard and to not go down the path he himself had gone on. He was also always one of the first people to protect Yoosung whenever he had a disagreement with somebody. He had a strong sense of justice and was quick to stand up for the people he cared about.
It was something Yoosung found admirable, even though he sometimes felt like he gained another older sibling to nag him.
After his arrival is when the chatrooms really started to become lively. Jumin would send pictures of his cat, Zen would complain and send pictures of his own. They would butt heads (which Yoosung and Seven found very entertaining), and V would try to step in to mediate. Seven would tease them and spin fantastical tales to explain his long absences from the chat.
They were really starting to feel like friends, and his life before them felt empty in comparison.
Jaehee was a late addition to the group. She remained quiet for a long time, talking in the chat only when she had to (or when Jumin summoned her to). The latest in a long line of Jumin’s personal assistants, Yoosung almost didn’t expect her to last.
However, she did. She even grew a bit more comfortable talking to Zen and Rika, though she still kept to herself. He enjoyed watching her become flustered whenever Zen talked to her, and the first time the three of them met up in person, it was all he could do to not laugh at how excited she was. Perhaps Seven was wrong about her being a robot after all.
That being said, her dedication to her work impressed Yoosung. Jumin could sometimes be borderline unreasonable in his requests, and he had not yet seen anyone as able to handle him as well as Jaehee (save for V, perhaps). He never said it out loud, but he admired her.
He didn’t really get to know her until they did their first party together. They shared the responsibility of decorating the party hall, and he was worried about spending a few hours working together. He didn't want to be a disappointment.
They got along better than he expected to, though. They discussed their favourite music while picking a playlist to put on, and talked about their school experiences while hanging garlands. He asked her the questions he had about working at C&R and she gave him advice about his future. The results of their work made him proud, and he was thankful to have had that time with Jaehee.
With her, the group felt complete. In hindsight, it filled him with awe that a student like him was part of this organization that was clearly destined for good things.
He was proud that he got to call these people his friends, and he was so thankful for their influence on his life.

#MYSTIC MESSENGER !! ♡ — A LITTLE LITTLE MORE LOVE.
Tumblr media
#. synopsis! — sweet gestures from them to you .
#. characters! — hyun (zen), jumin, saeyoung (707), yoosung, jaehee .
#. warnings! — none .
#. others! — navigation & masterlist .
#. a/n! — back in the mm pit because it's summer and it's time for my annual redownload <3 i've also been thinking about opening a discord, so if anyone has thoughts on that, i'd love to hear them! PLUS, i played the free demo for this indie otome-esque game on steam called homicipher, and i am begging for the release of the first chapter, idk if any of you have played it, but i am way too addicted for having only played like half an hour of it. anyway lolol, enjoy!!
Tumblr media
# HYUN (ZEN) !! ♡
Hyun, who buys bouquets of flowers every now and again on his way back home from rehearsals. He does his best to match the colors to your needs, —yellow on sad days in hopes they might lift your spirits, blue when you’re frustrated so that it might calm you down, etc.. They always smell so sweet, and you cherish them deeply. They always live longer than they typically should as a result of how well you care for them, and he loves to see the bashful smile tug at your lips as you accept them gracefully, even if you always tell him that he “really shouldn’t have” or that he “didn’t have to.” He does it because he loves you, and he thinks someone as beautiful as you should be presented with something just as gorgeous every now and again (even if he admittedly thinks you’re worlds prettier than flowers could ever be.)
Tumblr media
# JUMIN !! ♡
Jumin, who writes little notes on the corner of the napkins he rests your coffee or tea on each morning, delicate and elegant handwriting in black ink sinking so perfectly into the ivory material. They’re never the same, always a different expression of his love or his admiration. You like to tear them off and keep them safe in a little box, and you open it up to read them when you’ve had a hard day or when you’re just not feeling your best. He always tells you that you don’t have to keep them, that he won’t be offended if you simply toss them away after you’ve read them and they’ve made you smile, —but you can never bring yourself to do it.
Tumblr media
# SAEYOUNG (707) !! ♡
Saeyoung, who folds little origamis for you when he gets the chance and leaves them somewhere around for you to find. It started with a tiny paper star he was folding for the heck of it, but you liked it so much that he decided to do it again, and again, and again. So now you have a neat little stash of different animals, shapes, and otherwise cool-looking creations (all of which have silly, blank expressions drawn onto them as faces that really add a sweetness to their personality.) You like to sit and fiddle with them every now and again, just to feel the sharp edges of the crane’s beak against your fingertips or to split the little heart apart and see the “i love you <3” written on the inside.
Tumblr media
# YOOSUNG !! ♡
Yoosung, who buys sticky notes for his studies but ends up using most of them to leave you little notes with cute messages and silly doodles. He likes to think this is a better usage for them, especially when he watches you spot one out of the corner of his eye, and you hold it in your hands like it’s some kind of love-stricken poetry from a wordsmith he knows he’ll never be. They might be simple and straightforward, but there’s not much room for stanzas of prose on these little post-its, and reminders that you’re doing a good job or that you look cute are so much more than enough.
Tumblr media
# JAEHEE !! ♡
Jaehee, who bakes you little desserts for you to eat when you get home, often heart-shaped or dusted in romantic colors, —always in your favorite flavors. Cookies with little jam hearts in the center, cupcakes with heart sprinkles and a cream just to your liking filling up the inside; each and every one made with so much love that you can practically taste it on your tongue. There’s no one else she’d rather bake for, and no one else she’d rather spend the rest of her days with. Sometimes words are hard to come by, and she worries she won’t always get it right, but when you kiss her on the cheek before taking a bite of her treats, well. . . She thinks things will be alright anyway.

Okay, okay, but can we talk about the implications of the RFA preparing us these gingerbread cookies? I know they made it look all neat and tidy for us (Saeran and Jumin wouldn't have it any other way), but there is definitely a story of a completely destroyed kitchen behind them.
Tumblr media
I can see it going two ways: Either they each made a cookie individually, or they mitigated responsibilities between one another. For the sake of this being funnier, let's go with the first option!
Yoosung is likely to take a few attempts to complete his cookie. Not because he is bad at it (he was forced to help out making gingerbread cookies with his family almost every Christmas), but because he wants to make it perfect! After all, it's for their party coordinator! And he wants to impress you! Overall, he does a clean enough job, and his cookie turns out in a way that leaves him proud. If only Saeyoung didn't prank him once or twice in the process, that redheaded rascal!
Zen will definitely need some help. I'm sorry, I know he can cook and he is willing to learn for you, but as of now, he is rusty as heck. Surviving on nothing but salads, beer, and occasional snacks will not turn him into a good baker. He will try to follow the recipe, but he will either end up messing up, or he'll get all huffy about the cookie not looking right, and not representing his true beauty. He wants his cookie to be as handsome as he is! (Jaehee will enthusiastically agree to this statement) Actually, I can see Jaehee being the one to help him out. Maybe even in secret from everyone else, so he wouldn't get teased about it. Plus, Jaehee is just as motivated to make this cookie perfect!
Speaking of Jaehee, just like with everything else she does, she will do her job quickly and perfectly. No fuss, no muss. She'll be very clean about it too. It's like she wasn't even there in the kitchen. I don't even have much to say about her, because she's just too responsible and diligent for her own good. No silly gags, just a perfectly baked delicious cookie. She'll be very proud of it, too. Make sure to compliment her! She'll get all giggly about it for sure.
Jumin is... He can bake. In fact, he is a very good baker due to his natural ability to follow given instructions precisely. But, the problem with Jumin isn't that he can't cook or bake, as it's often assumed, it's that he gets too damn curious for his own good. He is like a cat. A creature of curiosity. Will try doing different techniques and adding new things, just to see what will turn out. He finds baking to be like a science and is captivated by it. Everyone in the RFA are horrified. It's like watching the ticking bomb go off. Everyone except for Jihyun. That man is just chuckling away in the corner and occasionally poking fun at his friend, because he knew it would end up that way. Although he will have to step in, once Jumin decides to try something a bit too crazy. Can't have their party coordinator shocked in a not so pleasant way! Jumin will still present you with an entire collection of gingerbread cookies later, though. He's too proud not to. What an absolute dork.
Speaking of Jihyun, I don't know why, but I always pictured him as a pretty bad cook and baker. I don't have any canon evidence for it, this is just pure headcanon territory. He will try. Dear Lord, he will try his absolute best for you. But, his gingerbread cookies will turn out looking just as sad and skrunkly as he is. It's like a curse. He might just come to terms with his cookie looking as miserable as ever, but I like to imagine Yoosung helping him out in the end! Just because I'd like to see them bond in a cute and happy way for once. Who knows, maybe this will become a new tradition of theirs! Yoosung teaching Jihyun an art of cooking and baking. And, I think Jihyun really does view it as an art. Then again, his artistic nature can make even the most mundane of things into a beautiful metaphor for something. He just needs someone by his side to watch out for any smoke.
Saeran is one step behind Jaehee when it comes to getting the job done. He's a bit more messy, because he likes to have fun while baking (especially when he's preparing something for you), and he will definitely prepare a good batch of different variations, before he decides on the final one. Funny thing about Saeran is that the kitchen will be squeaky clean, but he will be covered in flour, frosting, and other things. He doesn't know how it happened. No one does. But, it does give his brother some opportunities for playful teasing. Much to Saeran's exasperation (but there is a smile on his face as he huffs and puffs at Saeyoung's jokes, and it melts his twin's heart for sure). Also, he will prepare gingerbread cookies for Ray and Suit, but will leave them to give those two to you later in person. These are special.
And, last but not least, we have the final boss. The one who turns a cute idea to surprise you into a raging disaster. The man behind the slaughter. Saeyoung Choi. Boy, oh boy. It's true that no one wanted to allow him to bake. Everyone was aware of what was to come. But, once they saw that painfully familiar sparkle of inspiration in those golden eyes of his? That wicked grin that just screamed of mischief? His numerous babbles in the chatroom about 101 facts regarding gingerbread cookies? It was obvious. There was no going back. Only forward. He would bake that cookie with or without them. And, Saeran would much rather be nearby if something caught on fire. The cookie you see on the plate is adorable. It's perfect. Tasty. But, there is a story of true terror behind it. Dozens of fallen gingerbread cookies, lost at the hands of a mad redheaded genuis who was having way too much fun mixing ingredients that should never be mixed. How in the world did he get flour onto the ceiling? No one knows. Why is there a batch of Dr Pepper flavored cookies laying on the counter? Why, that's another mystery added to the pile. Did he create some kind of ungodly invention or a full on robo-arm to make cookies for him? Ask Vanderwood for that.

MM Classpecting: Jaehee
Zen Classpect
Yoosung Classpect
Jaehee:
Personality/General Info: Kind and hardworking. Independent, serious, and caring. Has own sense of humor. Organized. Dislikes when things are not according to schedule, or receives extra work. She is responsible, so she deals with it anyway. Works at C&R with Jumin, her boss. She is Catholic. Likes Zen and his musicals. Likes coffee, to the point she develops a big enough passion to open up a cafe in her route. Hates cat hair. Is the most suspicious member of MC when she first joins the RFA. Becomes protective over Zen’s career. Jumin trusts Jaehee, but she gets frustrated with him. Still loyal though. Doesn’t like Yoosung’s game addiction, but cares about him. He sees her as an older sister. With 707 she respects his work abilities, but is exasperated by his jokes. Short hair and glasses due to her job, because Jumin is worried that his father would flirt with her otherwise.
Jaehee’s mom married her father, who was 20 years older than her. He dies, then her mother when she was in the 9th grade. She is sent to be raised by her aunt and uncle. Gets scholarship to university and graduated early. V talked to Jumin and proposed the idea of hiring Jaehee into the RFA.
Role in Narrative: She is far away from the main plot, due to her lack of connection to Rika/V/707. In her route, her character arc is taking a risk and following her dreams. Stability may be safe (Job at C&R), but it’s killing her. Following her passion for coffee is risky, but having freedom to do what she wants matters more. Her childhood led to this need for stability, losing both her parents made her want to not be a burden to her uncle and aunt. She tried to do everything right in life: study, get into a good university and a good job. She has stability but she isn’t happy, slaving away at a demanding job for both C&R and RFA. She is the player’s breather route between the madness that is all of Mystic Messenger. In main story she supports the RFA with tedious paperwork matters, helping in the efforts for the Mint Eye mission. A supporting role along with Jumin.
Active or Passive: She studied hard, got a scholarship and started working at C&R all for the purpose of supporting herself. This is a selfish act (not the negative connotation of the word btw). She defends Zen often and supports him relentlessly, buying tickets to support him, which is selfless. She does a lot for the RFA and C&R. She does alot in the SEs with the Mint Eye mission, not for her sake, but for the RFA’s. Purely looking at what she does in the main plot (DS, 707 Route and SE), she is passive.
Classpect - Sylph of Mind: One who makes Mind, or makes through Mind for others.
How this applies to Jaehee: Jaehee does want to know what is happening around her, being the one who is most concerned about MC joining the RFA, for example, or needling Jumin if he fails to show up to work, trying to figure out wth is going on. In Zen’s route, she pries into his business alot when MC and Zen start showing romantic interest, even though Zen’s relationship is up to him, and she should have stayed out of it. Constantly suggested to go over to Zen’s house to help him when he was injured, even though MC could go instead. She is passionate about his musicals, excitedly rambling about it if MC shows interest in it (its so cute when she does this in phone calls <3). This is in contrast to how she usually is like to people she is not close with, formal and rigid. Same goes for coffee, where she obsessively starts researching deeply into it. Compared to the other RFA members, her relevance in the main story is little to none, being the farthest from Rika and V. Still, she is an indispensable member of the RFA, keeping a lot of it running in the sidelines.
A restrained Sylph can fade from relevancy, and I think she is looking at the main story. Her full potential can be seen in her own route. Working for C&R doesn't give her the chance to shine completely.
This is what the Hiveswap Extended Zodiac has to say about the Mind Aspect:
“Those bound to the aspect of Mind are-you guessed it-the universe's great thinkers. But don't for a second think that means that they have all the answers. They are very concerned with remaining rational, and they have such a firm hold on the constant conjunction of their thinking that it's easy for them to see the multitudes of the choices laid out before them, which often leaves them frozen and unable to act. That said, when a Mind-bound finally launches into action, they can execute a plan with unbelievable grace and precision. Their identity is fluid-it can change from day-to-day, from thought-to-thought, from interaction-to-interaction. Remaining logical is more important to them than building up a solid foundation of "self." At their best they are great innovators, architects, and creators. At their worst they can be nasty, inflexible, and indecisive.”
I think Mind is all about choices, thoughts, apathy and another way of viewing 'identity'.
How this applies to Jaehee: Jaehee is a logical and practical person. That is what lead her to where she is in the beginning of MM: working for C&R. She gets sick of all of the work she must undertake, but she she is frozen, afraid of quitting the stability of her job. When she does take action, though, she gets things done. Her role in backing up Jumin for the Mint Eye mission is indispensable. Not only that, but her management of the affairs of both RFA and C&R cannot be understated. She isn't easily replaceable either, as seen when Yoosung or MC tries to take on her role in some bad endings. She can be inflexible at times, an example being in Zen's route and her staunch refusal to let Zen date MC. She thinks its for his own good, but in this case she should listen to what Zen wants (traits seen in Sylphs as I've said before).
As the person furthest away from Rika and V, she has the least emotional investment in all this. This could be part of why she can make decisions without letting emotions cloud her judgement, like Yoosung. She encourages the other members to not be rash, to think through their decisions, even when everything gets intense with the hacker situation or Mint Eye.
Jaehee's Aspect is the opposite of Yoosung's, but both Aspects seem to focus on 'identity' or 'the self'. In Jaehee's case, her sense of self does fluctuate depending on who she speaks to. When MC brings up her love of Zen's musicals, her demeanor switches completely, absolutely elated to discuss her interests (attributes of Sylphs too). With Yoosung, she is gentle, treating him like a younger brother. With Jumin it is all professional, because he is her boss of course. It's difficult to tell which of these are the 'real Jaehee', when in reality her identity is just fluid like that.
Another point to how she acts based primarily based on logic despite her actual wants: Her wearing glasses and her short hair is all for the sake of her job. Jumin instructed her to do this so that Chairman Han doesn't flirt with her. She agrees to this as we see, because it is the logical thing to do. In order to have this job she must meet this dress-code, and she is willing to do this regardless of her real preference. And I do believe her REAL preference is having long hair and no glasses. We see this in her route when she stops wearing her glasses, since she never needed them to see. In her AE and Valentine's Day DLC we see her grow out her hair, showing that now outside of C&R this is how she prefers to present herself. She even looked like this in older pictures of her in-game, back when she was living with her aunt and uncle.
Looking at Jaehee's route, we see how she finally finds a passion for a coffee project, obsessively researching into it (Sylph). Jumin tells her to stop working on it and to focus on another project, but she has difficulty letting it go. For once, she is hesitant to just do what is asked of her, wanting to pursue this coffee interest. Her route focuses a lot on choices, and how Jaehee is at the cusp of making a big one: quitting her job to start-up a cafe. The logical part of her knows how risky it is, and struggles to decide on what to do. She is at a loss, but Zen and MC are there for her, helping her come to a decision. Zen gets her a coffee machine, and ultimately gets her to become less detached to her situation: the fact that she isn't happy with her current place in life. Jaehee reflects on all the choices she's made up to this point, thinking that that was what she was 'supposed' to do, according to society, in order to be happy. In a way, she thought that life was happening to her, when in fact she does have a choice. Her life was shaped by all the decisions she has made, and now it is no different. She gains courage and eventually does start that cafe with MC. In fact, it is successful. In the VD DLC, MC and Jaehee are constantly coming up with new menu options, and Jaehee looks at the recipes and logically thinks about the amount of ingredients, the ratio of them, etc, etc. She wants to improve on everything constantly by adjusting it. She is able to use the knowledge and experience she accumulated from C&R to her benefit.
Her route is less relevant to her role as a Sylph, since in her character arc she is more Active, where she is starting to become more selfish and less selfless. She is more of a Maid of Time/Maid of Mind solely based on her character arc. Though, her Mind Aspect is very prominent here, which is why I wanted to highlight her arc.
As a Sylph of Mind she is making, expanding, improving her Aspect. Since Jaehee is Jumin's assistant, you could say she improves Mind (I.e decisions for the Mint Eye mission). When she sees a lack of Mind somewhere, she will fix it.
Jaehee is a good example for why I think focusing on the character's role in the main narrative is so important. If you only look at Jaehee's route, you can easily gives her a different classpect. A Maid of Time suits the Jaehee we see in her route, making more Time for herself. Or a Maid of Mind, making Mind for herself, essentially making good choices for herself, which we see.
All in all, Jaehee Kang as Jumin Han's assistant is a Sylph of Mind.
