Greetings Harmonia anon! I admittedly have been neglecting Coil a bit since his return.

I should absolutely draw him more, that is my bad!! But, I will say I am working on redesigns of my Sun Down 2/3rds, and I will hand over Coil from an alternate timeline

And his very normal companion, Ozymandias, who is definitely not sleeping so hard he faded from existence and their conciousnesses lightly melded through a link to form a guy who named himself Xenon.

He really is such an abnormal Mind though! Far more willing to listen than usual, but that's due to the whole "got shot and realized he made mistakes" thing. Which he did spend most of his floor time witnessing Yarn and Twine being very abusive to one another and feeling as if there should've been something he could have done to avoid it. So he listens now, and he really tries to help.

Not that he is devoid of the Mind typical "my way or the highway" at times, nor the stern or critiquing voice. He is just very wary about it because he doesn't want to get injured further (and every time he has tries to be forceful or do it again, he's been once more injured by a Heart.)

Hopefully this suffices... I have again realized I neglect my little guy too much.

it is becoming Increasingly Clear to me that i can no longer be taken out into public because i will start doing to fonts what jirt would do to the rocks and plants whilst on little walks

Honestly I like Yuki's technique too, idg why people are complaining after just one chapter? Even if it's straightforward it can have some really cool and unique applications. Like Uro's ct or Blood Manipulation.

The destructive power Yuki can have by simply dropping from a high place is insane, she or Garuda can easily become nukes if they have enough mass, and even Garuda is incredibly deadly since they're so tiny, they wrap around someone and it's goodbye!! Even for defense, more mass without growing in size should make Yuki dense enough to be pretty much invulnerable. And Kenjaku's gravity technique wouldn't really affect her if her mass is infinite, not to mention a battle between gravity and mass COULD mess up the fabric of space and time ahdosjdj. I don't know if Gege will go there, but he does like his science sometimes so I'm hoping to see some wild shit in the coming chapters assuming Tengen's intervention doesn't take the spotlight from Yuki, fingers crossed this fight lasts till the end of the volume, so until ch 209-210.

I am having The Most fun writing a fanfiction right now

Part of the Skulduggery Pleasant series is that the magical community has just come through a multi-century war and everyone lives for 500+ years so they’re all traumatized by living half their years in a war and the society is very fragile

And this twelve year old girl gets pulled into this messed up society (metaphor for something something generational trauma of colonization) and fails to realize that most of the adults around her are acting from a place of trauma

ANYWAYS all of this to say that I’m writing a pre-war fic focusing on a) the ways the characters were changed by trauma, b) the loss of the traditional mage society through the war/colonization, c) worldbuilding the fuck out of the mage world by doing a lot of research on Irish historical society and fashions, and d) how the tensions in magical society slowly led to war instead of the ‘war just happened one day’ story we get in the original books

okay i decided to do a random number generator and some tarot cards so uhm. lets see. this is just spitballing ideas under the cut btw not an actual fic

for the characters i got yuzuru and mao, and i pulled the chariot, the three of swords, and the magician. so i think this is a deviation from the canon of the game in the ! era, at least in my mind, though i'd need to read more trickstar and fine stories to really do this idea justice and clean it up so just take this as me word vomiting a plot onto a post.

there are minor parallels between mao and yuzuru and their roles in their respective units, given that both of them take on more work than they should and are in the student council, combined with yuzuru's being tori's butler. they get along well enough and mao calls yuzuru by his given name now so its not like they get along poorly. this is all i have gathered just from quickly skimming mao's wiki page and their section on the relationships page.

i think...this fic would be a deviation from the canon in that trickstar doesnt come out on top and are defeated by fine and their counterparts from it (ie hokuto and eichi, wataru and subaru?, mao and yuzuru and i guess that leaves makoto and tori but i am not versed in trickstar lore very well so take this with a mountain of salt i never said this was going to be good) but which happens after they have developed this relationship where at least mao consideres yuzuru a friend and now that's just. shattered.

yuzuru doesn't necessarily realize in the moment what their relationship was to him until its broken before him on the stage as he pushes forward with fine until the very end, and it sinks in a little afterwards, maybe a few days, when mao is suddenly very very cold to him at the student council meetings. whatever amiability there had been before is gone, and there's no getting it back any time soon.

Recently I was with my buddy who has a car and I put my hand on the road and asked him to to drive through it with his jeep and my bones didn’t even flinch. Literally not even one of them was broken.
