Namjoon -- Sick at Comeback

Namjoon blows out a slow, deep breath as he puts his mic around his ear. He’s had a long day of feeling nauseous and feverish. “Joon?” Hoseok says, putting his hand on Namjoon’s back. “You feeling alright? You look pale…”

Namjoon nods. “I feel a little sick to my stomach…but I should be fine.” He starts to stand up and Hoseok puts a hand over his forehead.

“You feel so d*mn warm Joonie, maybe you should sit this one out?” Hoseok says. Jungkook walks into the room.

“Everything ok?” he asks, looking at Joon’s sweaty face. “Hyung?”

“He’s sick,” Hoseok says. “Poor thing has a fever.”

Namjoon’s eyebrows furrow. “I can do it,” he says.

“There’s no shame if you can’t–”

“--I can, though.” Namjoon uses his sleeve to wipe the sweat off his forehead.

“Well, we’re coming out now, okay?” Namjoon nods at Jungkook’s words and walks up the stairs to the main area behind the curtain. Suddenly, he feels a pain in his stomach and winces, Hoseok watching.

“Joon…”

“Hyung, it’s o-ok…” Namjoon stutters, putting his hair behind his ear. But it wasn’t ok, he felt like he could puke at any moment.

“Now, hyung~!” Jungkook said, grabbing Namjoon’s hand and pulling him out. The bright lights make Namjoon’s nausea double, and he puts a hand on Hoseok for support. He walks slowly to the front of the stage and listens to Yoongi’s speech before hearing the music start. “D*mn…” he mumbles as he tries to find his place.

When Taehyung starts singing, Namjoon’s body goes into autopilot and he does all the choreography he’s worked so hard on for months. His chest feels tight and he can’t breathe properly. When his verse comes on, he mumbles the lyrics enough to make the backtrack sound fuller, but the backtrack does most of the work for him. At the end of the take, he all but collapses onto the floor in front of the whole audience, facing his back to them with his head on his knees. He’s trying to catch his breath when he feels Jin’s warm hand on his back.

“Joonie, baby, what’s wrong?” Jin asks in a hushed tone. Namjoon feels a tear pricking at the corner of his eye.

“I…” he gasps for air. “I can’t…”

“Joonie, calm down.” All the members are gathered around the leader now.

Namjoon suddenly feels the urge to vomit and springs up to rush to the nearest toilet. His legs are shaky but they carry him to the bathroom. He’s too slow to shut the door before Seokjin is inside with him, and he barely manages to get the toilet lid up before he’s gagging and coughing up the little he could eat for breakfast. Seokjin rubs his back and tells him not to cry, but Namjoon is already sobbing from the embarrassment and pain of it all. He finally finishes and flushes the toilet, then shuts the lid and rests his face on it.

“Oh, Joonie, come on, that’s not sanitary. Let’s get you home…” Namjoon has started shivering from the fever. “Someone get him a blanket!” Seokjin calls, and a few moments later Hoseok returns with a blanket that Seokjin wraps Namjoon in.

“You poor thing,” Hoseok mutters, hugging Namjoon and letting him warm up a bit. “We should get him home,” Hoseok says.

“Bad news,” Jungkook says. “Since we’re on the left side of the stage and the door is on the right, the only way to get him across is to walk him across the stage in front of the fans…”

Namjoon’s breathing picks up with a panic, but Seokjin soothes him. “It’s okay Joonie. We’ll just be honest and tell the fans you weren’t feeling well. It’s ok. Just breathe…” Seokjin rubs circles into Namjoon’s back and uses his thumb to wipe the tears from Namjoon’s eyes.

“Taehyung is already on it,” Jungkook says. “He’s telling the fans that Namjoon has to go home. Can you walk, Joonie? A company car is waiting…”

Namjoon nods. “I need help, though…” Jungkook instantly links arms with Namjoon and Seokjin takes his other arm. They start walking up to the stage when Namjoon hears the crowd chanting,

“Kim Namjoon! It’s okay!” over and over again. When he walks into their sight, applause deafens him and he winces at the sound. Taehyung shushes the crowd. Namjoon can’t bring himself to show his face to the audience, so he turns away slightly so they can only see his hair and cheek. He walks slowly with everyone else as the crowd continues to chant his name, a bit quieter. He feels completely surrounded with love. The members help him into a company car, and Seokjin gets in with him.

“You five keep performing. I have the least lines and the most love for Joonie so I’ll go with him.”

“Most love for Joonie?” Jungkook’s jaw drops. “How could you say that when I’m right here and he’s my idol?”

“How can either of you say that when I’m here and he’s my soulmate?” Hoseok asks playfully. Namjoon smiles a little bit.

“We can discuss this later,” laughs Seokjin. “We’ll see you all in a few hours.”

All the members wave goodbye to Seokjin and Namjoon as the car pulls away. Only five minutes into the ride, Namjoon is sleeping on Seokjin’s lap.

Seokjin pets his hair. “You’re so cute like this Joonie…” Sometimes he wished his Joon would get sick more often so he could cuddle him like this. But he wouldn’t say that when Namjoon was feeling so bad.

Seokjin rubbed Namjoon’s back. It was an hour-long drive. He had plenty of time to go to sleep…but first..

Seokjin snapped a picture of Namjoon resting peacefully and sent it to the group chat before dozing off with his arm protecting Namjoon.

IT’S HERE!!! 🥳 I’ve been waiting for this since you posted that you were part Daddy’s Home Fest. I love me some domestic fics with cutie babies 🥺 I would just like to say that this might be all over the place cause I wrote my comments on my notes as I was reading so please bear with me 😅

Right from the sneak peak you showed us, I knew their bickering was gonna be a fun ride 😂 I can’t really blame them for being mad at the other cause I see both sides and can understand each one.

I love how right after talking it out with Yoongi being told to just not park there anymore, he still calls it HIS parking spot 😂 I mean if there’s no official spots for staff, then it’s the spot of the one that parks first. So their fight over it is hilarious to me 🤣 And why does he keep ruining her clothes?!?!? I can’t really blame MC. Even I would think it’s intentional by now, but knowing it isn’t makes it funnier. He gets annoyed cause he already apologized but it’s kinda hard to accept his apology when it keeps happening. He’s pretty clumsy and unaware of his surroundings, good thing he’s cute 😂

Poor Tae, must be hard since he knows Jimin isn’t a bad guy but also wants to be loyal to his bff 😅 but I love how she doesn’t want Tae to be caught between their “fight”.

I also want a JK and Hobi to give me a basket of products frequently 😫 cause that ain’t cheap and my broke ass could only dream of having friends THAT generous 😳

MC being petty with by taking the last hazlenut coffee and taking her d*mn time to finish making it. Pure evil 😈 there goes being “cordial” 🤭 They’re both so petty, i love it 😍😂

And it’s so cute how Harin and Mc adores each other 🥺

Oh no, MC is upping her game and convinced Tae to help her scheming. And now the prank war begins and no one wants to be the first to back down 👀 Personally, I am not a fan of pranks, especially those being done to me cause I’m also petty and hold grudges 😬

I knew when friday the 13th and the chocolate cake was mentioned that it was Jimin’s bday cake so I was already dreading when MC took a slice of it 🫣 Good thing Jimin laughed it off but I would seriously still be dying of embarrassment in MC’s place 😭

Are Harin and Jimin’s bday the same or just really close?!? And Mama Park setting Chim up with MC 👀 Good thing cause this petty “war” needs to finally be done 😮‍💨

Koo and Yoon are having the time of their lives finding out who MC is and then Jimin and the others finding out too 🤣

They’re flirting 🥴 And they finally apologized, took them long enough 🙄😂 The kiss at the end was 🤌

I really loved this story 😍 That was so good and you wrote 16k worth of it 😳 I really loved the characters you created and hopefully, you can let is see a glimpse of them in drabbles in the future. A lot of schools I worked at as a substitute teacher or tutor (especially our office) had limited parking spots so if you didn't get there early, good luck finding a spot! once i parked, that's where i stayed until I had to leave lmao

Imagine if they're fighting over the spot, and someone else entirely uninvolved took it one day lol they'd be dumbfounded or perhaps think the other got a new car lol i can see them staking out the spot to confirm and be confused af when someone else gets out

Yoongi was trying to be the voice of reason lol but Jimin just would not listen lmao in his head, it was HIS spot lmao maybe they'll carpool after their date. And something i learned in college and later on from working in schools, always have an extra set of clothes in the car, undergarments included bc you never know when you'll have to change. Jimin was so clumsy but it wasn't his fault (okay it was) he wasn't aware of his surroundings and the pudding had a mind of its own 😂😂😂

Taehyung was in a rough spot. He tried not to get involved but he did without being fully aware of what was going on when he went to lunch but overall i think he did a good job trying to stay neutral 😂

JK and Hobi had ulterior motives for the skincare lol they figured if they did it as a friendly gesture, Jimin wouldn't suspect they wanted him looking fabulous before they suggested he start dating, so all in all, they were trying to butter him up. if he hadn't found MC then the next step was a new wardrobe

They did their best to get on each other's nerves lmao MC loves annoying Jimin, especially since he got coffee and pudding on her clothes. so any opportunity to annoy him was a win 😂

Harin absolutely ADORES mc, they get along so well, and Harin is MC's star pupil :)

I wanted the pranks to be as harmless as possible, more of an inconvenience than anything else. i HATE hurtful pranks so I went with the desktop background thing and the googly eyes and fake poop. and Jimin left his car in the lot over the weekend. he was originally going to get picked up in an uber in front of MC but Yoongi was already picking up Lila and Harin, so it made sense Jimin would get picked up too lol

Harin's reaction to the fake poop was hilarious! she's so cute! and Tae immediately realizes that MC has a crush on Jimin! he's been around for ages so he knows how she gets with a crush lol

I loved the Friday the 13th cake incident! i was so excited to write it lmao Harin's birthday is the 14th of October so they shared a birthday party and yes, MC was mortified when she realized she had cut and eaten Jimin's birthday cake. Jimin found it hilarious!

Jungkook and Yoongi were having a wonderful time laughing at Jimin's expense! everything just clicked! and mc can't help but daydream about Jimin lmao she wasn't expecting to meet Jimin's friends and her mom's friend of a friend who wanted to set her up with her son who happens to take her parking spot everyday lol the kiss was my favorite! they were supposed to kiss the second time they fell on each other but i wanted it to be a little more private.

I definitely had so much fun writing this story, i was surprised i hit 16k whoops, editing was rough, i had to do it in sections and then go back and fix a few more things. and then tumblr wouldn't let me post so i had to use my husband's computer lol bless him. i would like to write a few drabbles for them in the future, maybe of their first date and a few of them later on in the future and perhaps Halloween and their first time carpooling lol

This is mesmerizing...

The choreography is so beautiful and elegant, much like that of a swan, yet there are still these moments of clear separation where the turmoil the dancer's facing can easily be detected by and projected back towards the audience. The art form of dance has always been so full of complexity, and I think it's only fitting that such a masterpiece should be paired with a song which equates this characteristic.

"Okay, I get it. Calm down!" You giggled, grabbed his face and pressed a long kiss to his lips, his breathing slowing down and eyelids fluttering shut. "Are you calmed down now?"

"Good because your parlor opens in five minutes."

BTS Reaction: You Have An Ovarian Cyst

Requested: yes a long time ago ;-;

Genre: fluff

Warnings: uh, mentions of ovarian cysts but it's not that bad lol

A/n: I know it's taken me a long time to get something out and I'm sorry about that. But I hope you enjoy this anyway 🙂 love you guys!

KIM SEOKJIN:

I love this man...that is all

"What do you want for dinner tonight, princess?"

Jin looks at you from across the shopping cart between you two as you browse the vegetable aisle. He frowns when you don't seem to be paying attention to him, just keep gently pushing on the avocados to test their ripeness.

"Y/n?"

"Huh?" You finally look up at him and he smiles.

"I asked what you'd like for dinner tonight."

MIN YOONGI:

"Oh, sorry." You laugh quietly, but Jin immediately picks up that something is wrong. He comes around the cart to put his hands on your shoulders, making you face him.

"Is everything alright, princess?"

"Yeah...it's just..." You look around to make sure no one overhears you.

"It just hurts." You finally whisper.

"What hurts?" Your husband whispers back.

You point down at your lower abdomen and it clicks in his brain. You had been having a lot of ovary pain recently, so you went to the doctors to get it checked out.

It turns out you have an ovarian cyst, but it wouldn't require any surgeries. The doctor just told you a few things that might help ease the pain until it goes away.

Jin has been a saint this whole time, doing everything he can to make it better for you. Now, he nods and pulls you in for a quick kiss on your forehead. Then he whispers, "I've got an idea."

At Seokjin's urging, you end up buying chocolates and almonds and a few other foods that are high in magnesium. The doctor told him that magnesium high foods should help the pain. When you get home, he makes you sit on the couch while he gives you some chocolate and almonds as he puts the groceries away.

When he's done, he comes over and sits next to you, pulling you in and kissing your cheek. "You just snack on those, sweetheart."

"Thanks, Jinnie."

"Love you, princess."

"Ouuuch, Yoongi!"

At your call of distress, your fiance runs into the living room from where he was producing in his studio. He sees you all curled up on the couch, your face twisted in pain as you clutch your abdomen.

"Yoongi it hurts." You whine.

"Oh, baby." Yoongi comes around the side of the couch and sits on the floor where he can be face to face with you. He gently takes one of your hands away from your stomach and holds it close to his chest.

"Have you taken your supplements today, love?"

"No." You say weakly.

"Ok, I'll be right back." He lets go of your hand to go and grab the supplements your doctor told you to take every day.

You gladly move and smile softly when he cuddles into you, nuzzling his nose in your hair. "I'm sorry you have to deal with this, baby."

He comes back with them and a glass of water, and then helps you take it.

After you've chugged some of the water and taken the supplement, Yoongi has you scoot over so that he can lay on the couch with you.

"It's not so bad when I get to cuddle you like this." You whisper tiredly.

He smiles and kisses you gently, "Try to get some sleep, love."

JUNG HOSEOK:

KIM NAMJOON:

"Is it still hurting, babe?"

You can hear the worry in his voice clearly. You clear your throat and whisper into the phone, since you're in the middle of your workplace.

"Yeah, but it's probably nothing." You hear him sigh at that.

"Y/n-"

"Sorry, Hobi. I have to go, my boss is coming."

You hang up and quickly get back to work before your boss catches you slacking off. The rest of your work day goes by rather painfully, with your worried boyfriend constantly texting you to make sure you're still alive.

By the time you're home, your lower abdomen is in so much pain its taking all you have not to burst out crying. You unlock your front door and walk in to plop yourself on the couch in a heap of misery.

Then a series of quick knocks sounds on your door. You barely have enough time to lift your head before you hear it unlock and your boyfriend comes in, his brows creased in worry.

"Babe, I've been worried sick about you all day!" He cries as he hurries over to you. "That's it, I'm taking you to the doctor."

Not even half an hour later, you're at the doctors and explaining everything that's been happening. They do an ultrasound and it turns out that you have an ovarian cyst on your left ovary.

No wonder.

Hobi is diligent on taking notes about how to help you, he listens to the doctor intently, madly scribbling everything that's important.

When you're back at your place, Hobi gives you some painkillers and cuddles you in bed.

"Are you doing okay, Jagi?" He asks every few minutes. You can't help but laugh at how worried he is.

"I'll be okay, Hobi. Thank you for everything."

"You can always count on me, Y/n."

PARK JIMIN:

"Are you okay, y/n?"

You turn to your husband at his question. He's holding your hand gently as you two walk through the park with ice cream in hand.

You hadn't realized that you were zoning out. The truth is you aren't okay, you're miserable. You found out last week that the pain you've been having is an ovarian cyst. Namjoon has been a sweetheart and taken care of you as best he can. He's always trying different ways to help you cope with the pain.

"It just hurts a bit." You admit after a moment of silence.

Namjoon nods understandingly, "Do you want to head home?"

You nod and he kisses your forehead gently before tossing his empty ice cream cup in a nearby trashcan.

It only takes a few minutes for you to get home. Once you're there, you pull off your shoes and groan as you hold your abdomen and stumble to your bedroom.

"I'll be in there in a minute, sweetie." Namjoon calls after you.

A few minutes later, the bedroom door opens and you peek your eyes open to see Namjoon slipping inside. He's carefully carrying a little tea cup, walking slowly and sitting next to you as softly as he can. Then he hands you the tea cup when you sit up.

"What's this?" You ask sleepily.

"Ginger tea. It'll help with the pain. I did some research." He laughs shyly at the smile on your face.

You take a sip of the hot tea and hum in satisfaction, "It's amazing. Thank you, baby."

"Anything for you, babe."

KIM TAEHYUNG:

Jimin is practically in tears himself watching you cry over your period pain. He knows cramps are painful, but this seems like it's so much worse than usual and he's really worried. But you insist that it's normal for periods to hurt as you lie on his bed in tears.

"But not like this!" He cries, wringing his hands. "You've been unable to move for hours I think we need to call the doctor."

"Jimin, I'm sure it's nothing." You sniffle tearfully and wipe your nose with your shirt sleeve.

He sighs and lies next to you, cuddling into your side in hopes of putting you to sleep. But a few hours later, he's awaken by the sound of your crying. He sits up and gently pulls you to sit up too.

"We're going to the doctors, right now."

The doctor told you that you have cysts on your ovaries and that's what's been causing your horrible pain. He gives you a few tips to help and Jimin listens intently.

Jimin drives you back to your apartment and helps you to the couch, then he grabs a fluffy blanket and drapes it over you. After that, he runs to get some pain medicine and comes back to give it to you with some water.

"Thanks Jimin." You croak tiredly. He smiles at you and brushes your hair out of your face, "I'll always be here, Jagi. The medicine shouls kick in soon." Then he leans down and kisses your forehead.

"Get some sleep."

JEON JUNGKOOK:

You smile half-heartedly at a text message from your boyfriend. You checked your phone immediately after you got out of your doctor's appointment. And of course, Tae had already messaged asking if everything was alright and if the doctor had given you any diagnosis.

He was going insane watching you in so much pain every day for the past few weeks. He kept insisting you go to the doctor and you finally did it today. It's a good thing you did, because apparently your pain isn't all in your head like you thought it might be.

Your doctor let you know after some ultra sounds that you have an ovarian cyst on your right ovary. He gave you a few things to do and some supplements to take to help ease the pain, but that's really all he could do until it went away on it's own.

You send Tae a quick text, telling him that you just got out, you're okay, and you will tell him about it at home.

When you get to your apartment, Tae opens the door before you even get a chance to fish your keys out of your purse. You laugh at his wide eyes, "Hey Tae, when did you get here baby?" You ask as you make your way inside and take your shoes off.

"Oh, I came over right after I got out of practice. I've been waiting for you, are you okay?" He asks worriedly, taking your hand as you walk over to your couch and plop down.

"Ohh, I'm fine. It's an ovarian cyst."

The look of horror on his face makes you laugh again. He isn't laughing as he kisses your cheek, "I'm sorry baby, is there anything I can do to help?"

You think for a minute before nodding, "Can you actually grab me the heating pad? It's in my closet."

"Of course!" He jumps to his feet and hurries to grab it. When he gets back, he cuddles into your side and gently puts the heating pad to your abdomen.

"Thanks, Taetae."

"I love you."

"Oh baby, is it bad right now?"

Jungkook hurries over to the side of your shared bed the moment he sees you curled on your side, your eyes squeezed shut. You nod, feeling your husband tuck your hair behind your ear and put his hand to your forehead. "What can I do to help you, honey?" He asks desperately.

"I don't know." You whisper hopelessly.

Jungkook bites the inside of his cheek in frustration. He doesn't understand why the doctors can't just fix everything and help you to stop hurting so much. He knows it will go away eventually, but he can't stand seeing you in so much pain right now.

He sits next to you and continues to brush his fingers through your hair, hoping it'll at least distract you. While he brushes your hair, he calls his eldest hyung. Seokjin always knows what to do.

"Jin hyung, what do I do?"

A few minutes later, you feel Jungkook shift and get up from the bed. Then he goes into the bathroom and you hear the tub start running. A little bit after that, your husband comes back in and kisses your cheek, "Come on, baby." Jungkook whispers as he practically carries you to the bathroom, where he helps you undress and step into the warm bath. You sink down, grateful when you realize he sits outside the tub and keeps holding your hand.

"I put some epsom salts in, it should start helping soon." Jungkook whispers softly.

"Thank you, Kook. I love you."

"I love you too, sweetie. Now, just relax." He reassures you, kissing your lips gently.
