You guys have NO IDEA how much I loved The Amazing Digital Circus’s pilot…. I’ve probably seen it like, what, 10 TIMES since it released?? Never gets old

Anyway, have my first contribution to the TADC fandom. My fave character is actually Zooble, but Jax is way easier and more fun to draw, specially if you add in a pinch of existential horror into the mix (mmmm my favorite kind of horror flavor). This ain’t the first fanart I’ve made, as I have (of course) done some doodles of the entire gang already, but I made this one with mixed media and wanted to share.

Also: mad respect to those who draw digital using a mobile device and finger, you guys are incredible idk how you keep yourselves sane

PS: have the original hand drawn doodle, as well as an edited version in black&white that tbh deserves a mention cause it turned out a bit creepy too. If you wonder what the text bubble is, it’s part of another drawing… ^_^;

Ugh. I really, really dislike what Tumblr has done to the desktop version of the website. (I feel like they've gotten rid of the desktop version of Tumblr because the interface these days looks and feels very mobile-like.) Not everybody uses their phone to view Tumblr and its content. (Where I can turn off this mobile-like interface on my desktop or is it even possible anymore?)

For the apk version, will there be an option to play in either portrait or landscape mode? Or is it switching to portrait mode only? I honestly prefer playing in landscape mode on mobile

Unfortunately, it's only in portrait mode because I changed the layout in the code 😊 You can still play the game on itch.io (online version) on landscape mode. The apk is coded in portrait mode only.

What’s the premise of this AU?

Belos dies several years before Luz steps foot on the Boiling Isles, and Lilith becomes Hunter’s Regent for the first 6 months of her reign, due to some extremely convoluted succession rules.

(To be clear, Lilith didn’t marry Belos. She just happened to be head of the Emperor’s Coven at the time of Belos’s death.)

What are the succession rules on the Boiling Isles?

These are the succession rules according to Boiling Isles law, they’re extremely simplified.

1) Emperor’s spouse

2) Emperor’s eldest child (or nephew, in this case)

3) Golden Guard (Tristan, deceased)

4) Head of the Emperor’s Coven (Lilith Clawthorne)

Since Belos wasn’t married, the previous Golden Guard was killed (Tristan), and Hunter was 2 when he died. Lilith initially took over as Hunter’s Regent for the first 6 months of her reign.

Is Belos a Bastard in this AU?

Yes.

What are the ships in this AU?

The main ships in this AU are Huntric (Hunter Clawthorne x Edric Blight), Lumity (Luz Noceda x Amity Blight), and Raeda (Raine Whispers x Eda Clawthorne). There will be other ships as well, but I will put them here as soon as I figure out what ships will be in this AU.

When did this AU diverge from Canon?

Technically this AU diverged from the Canon Timeline around 400 years before the show proper, but I can’t share too many details, as it has something to do with Hunter and Corvin. Although from Hunter and Lilith’s perspective, this AU diverged when Belos died.

(This AU is still developing BTW. So some of the exact details might change here and there.)

Anyways, @pastraspec’s Iron Lung video was really cool and after the credits rolled and saw who was acting Impastra I just had to make this joke.

For a second at the beginning of the special (or well, after the Iron Lung half was done) I was genuinely worried for Pastra because I remember their X (cough*twitter*cough) thread on people acting creepy. But around the second “entry” I understood it was part of the Halloween special.

Oooh bein on the same wave length about dogday though. 👀 I feel like the moment you take him home he'd take up hobbies that help around the house like a veggie garden and learning how to make clothes by sewing,crocheting, knitting, etc. I also feel like he would have a sketch book and itd be filled with moments he admired angel.
