Get to know you - Sims Style

Thank you to @rstarsims3 for the tag! 😊 What’s your favorite Sims death? None, I never let my sims die anymore because I get too attached to them 😂

Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I prefer Maxis Match, but I don't mind throwing in a bit of Alpha here and there.

Do you cheat your sims weight? I've only ever made one of my female sims less buff, but she proceeded to get very buff again so I just left her.

Do you move objects? Yes, but mainly just decorations and things like that.

Favorite Mod? I don't really play as much anymore, so it's hard for me to tell but I definitely cannot live without NRaas Mods and LD's Smooth Patch that's for sure.

First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack? Probably the first EP that I actually wanted was either Generations or Pets, because my mom already had other ones that I wasn't interested in enough to remember (definitely Late Night though, I do remember one time randomly turning one of my mom's families all into vampires when I was like 7 or 8 😂).

Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE.

Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? My most favorite would be Mari Martinez, who was a gen 3 sim from my old legacy save from a couple years ago that I happened to really like. She went through a few changes though 👀 Left is how she is now and the right is her from the legacy save. The one on the bottom is her and her husband Enzo 🥰

I do love this family right above as well though, I used to play them a lot before and occasionally now 😄 Have you made a simself? I have, my profile pic is actually supposed to be me and my dalmatian dog Disney (who's passed on now). It doesn't really look like me at all though because my sim making skills are pretty bad and even the hair color is too light but you get the general look 😅 Which is your favorite EA hair color? I've always preferred brown hair, but I like any hair color.

Favorite EA hair? I like a lot of hairs, I don't know which one to choose from.

Favorite life stage? Young adult and toddler stage 😄

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? I'm actually more in it for the creation of mods hehe, but I do like to just sit and play sometimes, especially in TS2, and I do love building houses but mostly in TS2 as well because it does get a bit frustrating with TS3 and how laggy it can get with the create-a-style tool.

Are you a CC creator? I've made a few things here and there, so I guess so!

Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad? I have a couple friends, there's definitely a lot of lovely people here as well and if anyone wants to be my friend I'm open to it 😊 Do you have any sims merch? Sadly, no 😔

Do you have a YouTube for sims? I did once upon a time, it was mostly just me sharing my process of creating animations but I kind of just left it. How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing? When I first started playing probably over a decade ago I just used to create couples and make them have like 5 kids, then kick the kids out when they reached adults then make the couple have more kids and the cycle pretty much never ended 😂 Then I started to play more legacies and tried challenges, but as always I got too attached to my sims and I couldn't continue them. Then I got into making mods and so here I am, I don't really actually play much anymore. Who’s your favorite CC creator? I love most of the stuff from @xiasimla, @sim-songs, @johziii, @nectar-cellar and a few others.

How long have you had Simblr? I think 2 years now? I just used to lurk around and download CC at first but then I decided I wanted to post my things here too 😄

How do you edit your pictures? Sometimes I don't edit them, but if I do I use Photoshop to enhance the vibrance and add in a bit of depth of field. Though I've finally gotten reshade to work now so I probably won't edit them anymore.

What expansion/ gamepack is your favorite? My favorites are Generations, Pets, Seasons, Island Paradise and Master Suite Stuff. I'm sure most people have already done this but if you haven't then I'll tag you! 😄

So, it's been a while since the end of TRW and I still don't understand why people went (and still go) "they clarified that Deli's lover is not his aunt" like, who's "they" bc the only "they" who said that are the Discord mods, who are not in the production, and the mods didn't "clarify", they claimed there were two women in the Enzo Carbano scene when there is no evidence, and the mods never confirmed anything, they said they were not sure.

The text suggests that Ariana is Deli's aunt, bc she referred to Enzo as her father, and (afaik) nothing from the text nor the production has said otherwise. And it's really weird the fandom has a persistent "they confirmed that was a mistake" without, like, anyone remembering that that came from people who aren't actually on the production outright speculating.

And it's trivial bc it ultimately doesn't matter. But the sticking point here for me is that people keep saying it authoritatively when, like, it didn't happen?

Vrye and Ophelia, two beings who are QUITE indifferent on eachother, find themselves trapped inside an old temple when the entrance was barricaded by falling rocks. They now seem to be hearing the 'voices of the gods' (anyone who puts in asks!) And are answering their questions.

The End of an Era

While I was having Enzo run here and there thru the house avoiding the Zombie forces, one of them turned Marla. I locked Enzo behind closed doors in a bedroom and he left the room . . . bad idea, Marla was outside the door in wait. None of the people on this lot were doing well - all sick, etc. While going through my downloads folder later, I discovered that I never took out the mods for the Dead Simple Zombie Challenge that have been in there for years. There's one for "Real Sickness" that makes it all worse on everyone - no wonder my sims are constantly hacking out a lung. Let's just say the Zombies didn't do well in the end . . .

Mod opinion: I haven't read this book yet, because my copy hasn't arrived at my bookstore yet, but I'm super excited for it. Update: Oops missed that one in the queue, I read this one in the mean time & its very good! My copy hasn't arrived yet, but my library got an ebook copy so I could read it :3

100 Baby Mama Challenge (Life Of An NPC Edition)

You've heard of the 100 Baby Challenge, but what about the 100 Baby Mama Challenge? It sounds crazy but I've crafted an interesting way to twist the challenge into a fun and wild experience! Custody battles, Child Support, Baby Mama Drama and MORE!

Challenge Aims:

Have 100 Baby Mamas

Raise 100 Children

Just impregnating 100 different sims is TOO easy! This challenge requires you to raise 100 children too, but in order raise them you have to win the custody battle first! If you lose the custody battle, you have to PAY child support for ANY child you don't have custody of until they are a young adult!!!

General Rules:

You can't get a job

Start with $20,000 to build/buy a house or play rags to riches style

You can have any lifespan you want and if you wish, you can even turn off aging - have fun and play how you'd like!

Only children from won custody battle count towards your raised children

Similar to the 100 baby challenge - kids and teens need an A in School to age up, toddlers need level 3 in every skill to age up, if you have growing together, infants should have reached 3 milestones in each category before aging up, if you DO NOT have growing together, infants need to be infants for at least 3 days

Custody Battles:

After the birth of you child/children, spin a wheel with 3 win entries and 6 lose entries (mothers tend to be more likely to win custody battles)

If you have multiples (twins or triplets) you can choose whether you spin the wheel for each child or you spin one wheel and either keep or lose all the children

Child Support:

With SNB Bills Mod:

Child support with this mod is all set up for you, for more info on how it works check their website HERE

I recommend changing the percentage to 1%

Without Mods:

Use the cheat 'money -[child support amount x number of children]' child support is 1% of your household income per child (to work out 1% do [household income] x 0.01, that's how much each child not in your custody gets.

EXAMPLE if your household income is $20,000, each child gets $1,000 (20,000 x 0.01 = 200) if you need to pay child support for 10 kids then you pay $2,000 (200x 10 = 2,000). Finally You would type in the cheats console 'money -2000'

1% may not sound like a lot now but when you've lost 40 custody battles... yikes!

And that's it for rules! You have creative freedom to develop storylines and create as much or as little Baby Mama Drama as you want! The story I'm playing live on YT at the moment is about Enzo who wants to be a world famous Music producer. He lives in a dingy shack in the "ghetto" (the industrial district of evergreen harbour) and he is on the come up! He has one gold chain that he wears on ALL of his outfits (inducing sleep)!

Steddie Sims

So I've created a full save file for my Stranger Things sims, and specifically to live out my Steddie dreams, lol. So I thought I'd share some of it with all of you. (this is attempt 2 because apparently the pics I tried before were too spicey, so, here's a tamer version)

First, I just gotta show off in general. I'm so happy with how the save turned out.

Eddie kept giving Steve looks, according to the pop ups, then asked Steve out.

Luckily, Eddie was happy about the news when they went to Enzo's.
