Hello Tumblr!
With our first post on the platform, we would like to introduce ourselves and what we do!
We are Reward Services, a content-driven organization focused on delivering consumers tips, tricks, and ideas on utilizing internet technology to aid in everyday tasks involving online shopping, in-person shopping, searching for deals, and general fiscal management.
Looking forward, we are excited to start our tenure here on Tumblr with our first very simple tip: Lists.
It’s an extremely simple and often overlooked concept that many still discount even though countless other blogs go over the topic at large. That’s not going to stop our overview of the subject, however.
Lists can come in many different shapes and sizes and can be managed in many different ways. From simply scrawling what you need on the back of an old receipt, to keeping a written booklet, to even utilizing an app such as Google Keep to keep track of your lists; it’s hard to go wrong in organizing the purchases you need to make.
Websites and apps like Amazon or Walmart.com have shopping carts that can act as temporary lists until you checkout, or alternatively have their own built-in list managers. All in all, there is very little that a list can’t do to help your memory in the moment, and can do a lot to reduce stress on long shopping trips whether virtually or not. There are so many options regarding keeping track of the items you want to purchase that you could almost make a list of them!

Thinking I am not Negative is not enough
Tumblr media
There is a correlation between ‘What we Hear’ and ‘What we Say’.
Many of us know negative thinking and any negative environment are not good. But we do not realize, how much of negative thoughts our mind has consumed already and how those thoughts are accepted by our belief system, hence reflecting in our daily life!
It is hard to find out, I agree. Sitting on a closed-door room, you cannot imagine how beautiful is the outer world unless you come out of that room.
You think, you are very positive and what we are discussing here is not true? I wouldn’t blame you; it is natural. Let me prove you with an example.
Many of us know that 60 is the age for retirement (at least in India. Some companies have extended that to 65 years). This number sixty has stored in our mind in such a way, we all try to plan our retirement from 30’s. We get married early, then a house, a car etc. If someone doesn’t achieve it within 40’s, becomes tensed and terribly worried for his future days. There are enormous discussions happen at family level to corner that person as he hasn’t achieved them all within time and he is also being compared with other folks in the family who is settled already. That person becomes so thrilled, he tends to avoid taking new risk after 40’s and maintain a traditional life. He scares to take more challenges in job or business, scares to apply for an abroad venture, scares to buy a house or go for a higher study etc. However, doing something different isn’t the solution of his problem?
Yes!
But, that number 60 continuously chases his mind and discharges all his positive energies to do something new and innovative.
There are many examples where people have married at the later age and gave birth of a baby successfully. There are examples where people have reached at the peak of their career after 60’s and earned millions after retiring from a regular job. There are examples that someone who have never thought of his age and just focused on his duties (Karmayogi as per Vedas), survived more than 100 years! There are many such examples!
Then why we are so worried about 60?
It is hard to throw our negative believes and understanding because we can’t recognize them.
Just hearing from some motivational speakers in TV channels, social media, corporate trainings and continue to do what we are doing, is not the solution to our problem. We need to evaluate our thinking process rationally every time without believing our contemporary thoughts blindly.
It is not possible to comprehend the subtle problems of life unless our thought is tranquil and our energy is concentrated. Until our mind is withdrawn from varied distractions, we cannot enter into the spirit of higher success! Hence, all we can do, is to learn from the books, mentors and most importantly from our life experiences. Nature teaches us more lessons than any school or college.

The nature of online friendship is that you're a week in, and discussing the failings of capitalism and modern society in between sharing art projects and offering critique and ideas for each other's yuri works, and you learn that they are part Cherokee before you learn that they actually use any pronouns whatsoever (he/him).

I wonder if the future will be more or less frenetic than the present. Keeping up with the Joneses feels like a relaxing pastime in comparison with keeping up with all the crap of 21st century, late-stage capitalism minutiae needed to live.
Also Across the Spider-verse was too long.
Also more people need to see Hedwig or watch it again.

Bringing on a New Dawn of Reason
As the world evolves, the luminaries and radical thinkers of previous eras have either faded away or have been silenced. Yet, we, the younger generation, are the inheritors of their spirit—the new wonderers. But in this ever-changing landscape, we are faced with a question: Are we wondering in vain, chasing after illusions, or are we wondering for the greater good, to carry the torch of progress for those who come after us? Aaron Bushnell, a beacon of free thought, performed an auto-da-fé against the very powers that are supposedly fighting for an all-loving God. This act of defiance will echo through the ages, urging us, the new ones, to wonder, to question, and to challenge the status quo.

a random midnight thought -
The system of free markets is competitive, helping support efficiency and innovation.
However, have we confused and wrongfully applied the same principle to human beings? We live in an age of social darwinism, with cut-throat competition. Everyone is a competition and we are taught to go forward by pulling others down. But humans are no markets. We're social creatures with a heart, soul and a longing for fellow beings.
Personally, I have felt that I have innovated the most when I was in a relaxed state. Of course, we require certain scrutiny by others to keep ourselves in check but hasn't it gone too far at this point?
I am aware that there are loopholes in this idea and the other side holds valid arguments but the current state of things, with life being so fast-paced, does not sit right with me and I hope with many others.
P.S. For sure I am going to regret writing this post in the morning. Just a random rambling.
Good Day

The Art of Slow Living: Embracing a Life of Intention, Meaning, and Love
Unlock the secret to a happier, more fulfilling life with the art of slow living. Learn how to prioritize quality over quantity, nurture deeper relationships, and find balance in a chaotic world. 🌱 #SlowLiving #Mindfulness #Wellness
In a fast-paced world where success is often measured by how much one can achieve in the least amount of time, the philosophy of ‘slow living’ emerges as a countercultural concept that is as radical as it is refreshing. With roots going back to the ‘Slow Food’ movement in Italy during the 1980s, slow living has evolved as a way to counteract the frantic pace of modern life and find more meaning,…
