I’ve been listening to a lot of TalkArt podcasts lately and they always wrap up by asking ‘what’s your favorite color?’ I’ve never been able to answer that myself, until yesterday in the studio when it hit me—this particular neon lemon yellow / Pantone safety yellow / fluorescent chartreuse / yellow green / neon lime… It represents modern life to me, and I love using it as a kind of personal code in my work, juxtaposed with vintage things as if to say ‘I am here’. Last thing I googled:  Sam Jackson’s imdb: A movie came on that the husband and I weren’t sure what it was that he was in so I was googling to figure it out. It was S.W.A.T.

Dream trip: Pretty much Europe would be very cool. Japan would be high on the list too.

Anything I want right now: I’d like to know what the hell is going on with my husband. Doc’s are flummoxed. He’s in the hospital again. He spent six days there at the beginning of the month. We’re way too young to be dealing with this crap.

Thank you for the tag @percyjacksonfan3! I decided to make a new thread since the other one was getting a bit long!

Rules: answer the questions and tag fifteen mutuals.

1. Are you named after anyone? Not my first name, but my middle name is a variation of my mom’s middle name.

2. When was the last time you cried? I actually don’t cry very often at all, but I did in fact happen to cry last night haha.

3. Do you have kids? Nope!

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Some would say too often 🤷‍♀️

5. What’s the first thing you notice about people? Honestly I think it depends on the person! As a whole, if we’re going by physical appearances, I tend to notice noses first. But also, as someone who is quite introverted and quiet when meeting people, I really zero in on other people’s tone of voice. Whether they’re welcoming, serious, happy, closed-off, etc., it’s something I definitely notice and will shape my entire demeanor around during our interaction.

6. What’s your eye color? Brown

7. Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings always! I can’t really watch scary movies.

8. Any special talents? I mean, one could argue that everyone has special talents, even if it might not seem like one to them lol. A kind of fun “party trick” one that I have yet to meet another person who can do it (even though I know many of them exist) is that I can fold my tongue in half. Not just in the hot dog bun or clover thing, but like, tip of my tongue to the back of my mouth haha.

9. Where were you born? Washington. The state, not DC. If I had a dime for every time I’ve had to clarify that...

10. What are your hobbies? Horseback riding, reading, writing, hiking, fandom. Also been a bit into gifmaking lately!

11. Have you any pets? I have a cat and I am probably a bit too obsessed with her.

12. What sports do you play/have played? Dance (ballet, tap and jazz), gymnastics, horseback riding (dressage, jumping, cross country, and a tiiiny bit of polo and vaulting), baseball/softball, karate, soccer, cross country and track and field. These days I just stick to horseback riding and running though!

13. How tall are you? 5′5″ 

14. Favorite subject in school? Biology, english, and creative writing.

15. Dream job? I’m still figuring out my life and don’t have a specific dream job at the moment, but something within equine genetics and/or repro would be ideal for me!
