I love how before he hugged Zo, Joke asked for consent. Yes it was silent but if Zo didn't want it he would have pushed Joke away and he knew that. I also love how Joke always planned on doing this and that is why he took his shirt off and I love him for it.

Can't stop thinking how similar the Collector and Pip are. Neither have developed or grown in centuries. Despite being very physically old, they're still both very young mentally. Both are trapped in another realm, unable to get home. Both want to live an idealized concept of childhood and are willing do anything to attain it. Both have abandonment and trust issues and are so desperate to not be alone. All they do is repeat their past mistakes and get the same results but are unable to recognize what they're doing wrong. Their very existences are stagnant.

he smiles widely when he sees you looking at him. he waves over for you to come out, but you shake your head, subtly pointing at your professor. heeseung frowns, waving you over in a more childish way. you shake your head, frowning. heeseung takes his phone out and you immediately grab your phone, hiding it from your professor.

you put your phone away, looking at heeseung. he stands there like a child, glaring at you with a small pout on his lips. but he gives up and walks past your lecture room.

so, you go back to listening to your professor and writing everything he says. it was going well, every little information was going inside your head, not feeling disorganized or anything. thirty minutes pass by, and a student comes knocking, excusing themself as they talk to your professor.

he only hums, pushing his glasses up higher on his nose. “y/l/n, you’re needed in the guidance office. your aunt called.” he says and you nod, mumbling a thank you as you grab your stuff and dash out of the lecture hall.

why didn’t she just shoot you a message? did you turn your phone off? no. what the hell happened? questions burst in your mind as you run to the office, pushing the door open as you step in.

and there was your answer.

jake sitting on the desk with heeseung in front of him, smiling at you with his adorable doe eyes.

you forgot jake works part time in the guidance office. you glare at heeseung and he only smiles. “hi, flower.” he enthusiastically says. he has no regrets and absolutely no shame. you look at him unamused and jake chuckles.

“i’m sorry, y/n.” jake says.

“i swear to god, lee. if you never had those eyes, i would break up with you.” you say and heeseung giggles, looking at jake, patting his arm.

“you heard that, jake? my flower loves me.” heeseung boasts and jake shakes his head.

“i’m pretty sure she said she wants to break up with you.” jake says and heeseung only smiles, standing up and going to you.

“you’d rather kiss me, right?” heeseung says and jake scoffs under his breath. he cannot believe how big of a simp his friend was. also, delusional. still, you were staring at him in unamused and heeseung smiles, turning his head as he leans his cheek close to your nose.

you sigh, pressing your lips against his cheek. the small sound of smooch made heeseung beam and he pulled away to grab his bag from the seat as he also takes your bag from your shoulder. “bye, jake. thank you!”

“heeseung, don’t forget your promise—”

“what? i can’t hear you, i’m busy hanging out with my flower!” heeseung says, grabbing your hand as he rushes out of the office with you. you look at him and he only smiles, kissing your nose.

“you’re so lucky, i love you.” you say and heeseung beams, going to his car as he puts your stuff inside. you were about to go around, to go to the passenger seat when heeseung grabbed your hand. you turn around, looking at him.

“i really am. thank you.” heeseung says, cupping your cheeks as he presses his lips against yours. you kiss back, wrapping your arms around his waist. “i love you, too.”
