Sometimes I think about that delulu commenter who purposefully left a dick comment on my Mei/Momo fic about how Mei is satan and the evilest character of the series and how she ruined everyone’s chances of being a credible hero at the Sports Festival and how Momo had no chance to succeed because she “only got 87 hero internship offers, which is clearly lacking”, and this commenter is so notorious for their bad opinions that several readers of mine instantly recognized their bad rhetoric
Anyway. I wonder just how delulu that guy is these days,,,

[Masterlist]
Context: In the peaceful village of Yuuie, you and your best friend, Katsuki, hope to catch the eye of the Alpha of your dreams. Kirishima Eijiro.
Note: This story is OMEGAVERSE. This story takes place in a historical non modern setting so please take note of that when it comes to the jobs in society that the characters take and how they act. Bakugou Katsuki is an OMEGA. Reader and him are AFAB but there IS smut this chapter
Warning: Attempted assault, SMUT, Tribbing basically, slick, wet dreams, big beefy alphas
Alpha warning: Todoroki Touya
“Good job, Momo.” You said as you wiped her forehead of sweat as she finally could breathe and relax for a moment.
The crying newborn pup was already in Gran Chiyo’s hands as she moved rather fast for a small old Omega in wiping the pup clean and making sure she was healthy. Inko took the afterbirth away while Katsuki brought her water, and you helped sit Momo up so that she could drink.
Katsuki rubbed her back as he held the cup for her. “You did so well. You can breathe now.” He told her softly and sweetly as he helped her drink.
Momo let out a sigh moving her head away indicating she had enough water. She gave Katsuki a gentle tired smile. “Thank you.” She sighed out. She then turned to Inko and Chiyo who were busy with the new pup and discarding of the afterbirth. Momo extended her arms to them, motioning for the newborn pup. “Bring him to me.” She spoke with a hint of urgency in her tone. “I want to see him.”
Chiyo gave her an old wrinkled smile as she shuffled over with the new pup in her arms, however upon closer inspection you realised there was an underlying sadness to it. You moved to the side, allowing Chiyo space to move the pup into their dam’s arms. “A girl.” She said. You saw Momo freeze as she slowly felt the weight of the baby in her arms. She looked down at the little girl pup, who cried wishing to feel her mother’s touch. “It’s a girl, Momo. A healthy baby girl.”
You felt the tension in the air shift as she looked down at the red haired Todoroki pup. She was rather small but had round cheeks. She let out soft whine, turning and tossing in her swaddle, searching for her dam’s skin. Momo looked down with an expression filled with anxiety covered up with a smile. “But... but they want a boy.” She stated as she looked up to you all with tears burning in her eyes. “The Todorokis they... they want a boy. Head Alpha wants a boy for his son, I can’t give Shoto a girl.” She let out in quiet fear.
You put a hand down on her carefully, moving closer beside her. You knew how strict some household were, especially how some Alphas were. The likelihood of certain genders ending up Alphas in their bloodline was a heavy factor. You looked down at her sympathetically, Katsuki moving in closer to her releasing more of his sweet scent to try and calm her down. You smiled sadly. “Maybe this is what fate has decided, what the heavens have gifted you with.” You stated optimistically.
Katsuki nodded his head, a look of certainty on his face. “The stars don’t make mistakes. They gave you this girl for a reason.” He spoke with a determined look on his face. “She might just surprise you.” He motioned down to the newborn.
Momo smiled through the tears up at the two of you, before looking down at the little pup. She moved the shoulder of her night gown, allowing her left breast out. She moved the pup to access her chest. Just like you were all taught in your Omegan classes, she managed to latch the pup onto her, allowing the pup to feed. She smiled down at her with a coo, moving her up and down in her arms. She smiled letting the tears fall as she felt the soft skin of her first pup. “Hi.” She spoke softly.
It was a beautiful moment, and you could never get enough of seeing it. The first moment an Omega fed their pup. It was intimate and binding. It was pivotal to the growth of a pup and almost the change into a dam for the Omega. You looked to Katsuki who nodded his head as well.
Interrupting the moment was a knock on the door. Inko looked up from what she was doing and walked over to the door. She opened it to find Shoto and Enji. Immediately Momo froze as she clutched the little girl closer to her. “Head Alpha.” Inko bowed her head. “Shoto.”
Before Shoto could speak, Enji spoke first. “The pup?” He asked loudly.
She glanced back at the two of you, she motioned for the two of you to leave out the room. You nodded. You gave Momo a supportive squeeze and Katsuki gave her a nod as the two of you made your way outside, your jobs done for the time being. You kept your heads down as not to draw attention to yourselves much and not to disrespect Enji. You allowed the two Alphas and their family inside before walking out yourselves.
Inko closed the door for a moment, looking to the two of you. "Well done, you two. We’ll keep an eye on Momo and the pup, you two go get some rest.” She told you with her hands on the front of her apron. Her hair was pushed back with a white cloth, something the four of you had to symbolise that you helped take part in the birth of a pup.
Katsuki hummed with a nod. “Alright. Call us if you need anything.”
She chuckled with an adoring smile over to the blond Omega. “Of course. Now go along home, now. It’s getting late.”
You both grabbed your baskets and headed out of the Todoroki’s residence. The sun had already set and the two of you were headed back to your place. It wasn’t uncommon for the two of you to stay over at each other’s houses. Your parents trusted each other enough to allow you to sleepover.
Katsuki and you always walked close together, arms conjoined not ever wanting to be separated for too long or too far away from each other. “Momo is so blessed.” You spoke softly, being mindful of the soft sounds of the houses around you, families having dinner inside their homes.
Katsuki nodded his head. “She is. A pup with a mate from a strong family like the Todorokis’.” He stated as he focused forward. “Well… strong but not as strong as the Kirishimas.”
You giggled amusedly as he giggled along side you. “Being with a Kirishima would be a dream.” You sighed as you looked up at the endless dark blue sky with stars in the sky.
“Imagine if we ended up as sister wives?” You turned to Katsuki surprised. He had a sort of soft look on his face. “Together, serving our Alpha and our house. Mated together, claimed together, bred together, dams together, always together.” Katsuki had a gentle blush on his face as he tightened his grip on your hand. He looked away from you, blushing up a storm but pretty content enough in the idea not to be embarrassed. He shrugged. “Just… just a selfish dream of mine.”
You stared at him in surprise. You carefully eased as you smiled. “Then let’s be selfish.”
Katsuki turned to you, red eyes wide in surprise. Large beautiful eyes, almost as if art themselves, looked at you. You paused as you looked to him in the moonlight, his sandy blond hair seemed to almost be illuminated by the moonlight. Pale flawless skin, crimson red eyes, soft lips, a beautiful enticing scent. Katsuki was beautiful in every sense of the word and in every sense of his capacity. He couldn’t help but remember that.
You motioned for him to follow you down the dirt road. “Come on. I’ll whip up some nice sandwiches for us before bed with tea to warm us up.”
Katsuki was still for a second before nodding his head with a smile. “That would be nice.”
The Alpha kept his body on top of you, making sure you wouldn’t be crushed by the weight and sheer size of his body. His breaths were heavy and warm, his hot tongue moved over your neck, scenting you in the process. You couldn’t help but to release a keen. A rumble forced its way out of his chest, a loud approving sound at your noises. “Omega~” He let out lowly, his lips trailing your neck. You could feel the tension between your legs growing stronger as your abdomen fluttered in knots. You needed his knot. You needed him. You needed what he could give you. One of his hands moved to trail down your body to your hip. “My Omegas…”
That’s when you felt another set of smaller yet warm hands move over your body. A purr erupted from behind you as you felt a nuzzle to the back of your neck. Hands moved over your breast, pinching your nipples, ripping a gasp from you before moving down again. You pushed into the hands, loving how soft they were and how much they knew your body.
The Alpha was between your legs, his hand gripping your thigh, forcing them apart. You could feel the heat of his thick sex. You just needed him to push in. You needed him deep inside you. He was so close… so close.
You took in a sharp breath as you woke up, eyes wide as you lay in bed. You looked around at where you were. It was still dark, the moonlight still shining into your room as you were wrapped up in the furs and blankets of your nest. Katsuki lay next to you, motionless and seemingly still asleep. You didn’t have as much furs or blankets as Katsuki did for his nest at his home, but he never complained, seemingly preferring to be in yours than his own.
You turned to look up at the ceiling and sighed. Your heart was still thrumming in your chest and you could smell the pang of arousal in the air from your dream and the effect it had on your body. You put a hand to your chest, feeling your heartbeat practical jump out of your chest.
Ever since you presented, the dreams had started. Inko and Yua had told you and the rest of your Omegan classmates that it was normal for Omegas until they found a mate. The dreams started out innocent, all you ever knowing being cute court dates and being kissed under the moonlight by an alpha double your size. Then they started getting more heated the older and more knowledgeable you became. Dreams of an Alpha way too close to make you breath properly for your own good.
Your hear finally stopped racing as you tried to calm yourself down so that you could fall back asleep. As you shifted again, you froze at the feeling. You carefully moved your hand down your white nightgown. You moved it underneath the hem of your night gown, and up your thighs. You paused at the warm sticky feeling at your inner thighs.
Slick.
You couldn’t help but press forward, a finger against your moist slit that was still aching for attention and covered in slick. You closed your eyes with a silent breath.
“You’re thinking too loud, idiot.” You turned in surprise to Katsuki. His eyes slowly opened as he looked to you, tired cat like eyes staring back at you.
You forced a little smile, “Did I move too much?”
He shook his head tiredly. “No.” He let out lowly. He moved in closer to you, putting his head in the crook of your neck. He buried his face there away from your eyes. “But it seems that…” He took your free hand and moved it closer to him. Your face went warm as you felt the warm skin of his thigh, as he moved your hand higher and higher to his sex. Heavy slick doused on his own thick warm lips. “even our dreams are similar.” He whispered against your neck.
“Katsuki…” Your voice was breathy as you weren’t exactly sure on what to say.
He moved a hand to your cheek. You turned to each other for a second, the tension high and the connection between the two of you was desperate.
He leaned forward and placed a kiss to your lips. You let out a held in breath, pushing forward for more. You both weren’t exactly sure how to kiss still, even though you had done so yourselves a few times before, but you got by enough that it was nice. Everything you did was just based off of feeling good and the trust you had in each other and handling each other’s bodies.
You felt Katsuki move to shift over on top of you, straddling you. He moved his lips to your scent glands, kissing over the sensitive area making you sigh. You moved your hands down to the end of his night gown, pushing it up to just his midsection and you did the same with your own. Carefully, Katsuki pushed down against you, your clit against his. You both sucked in a breath at the feeling of your warm sexes against one another.
You furrowed your eyebrows as you slowly felt him, grind his body down against your own. You bit back a sound as you reached up and licked over his scent glands. Katsuki bit down on his bottom lip, a muffled whine coming out. Katsuki was always making a noise, and you both knew you didn’t need to alert the others in your home with your secrets of pleasure.
You pushed up against him, you both grinding against one another. You didn’t know much better or much worse, but it got what you both wanted done good enough. More than good enough. You held his hips down as he moved a top of you. Bakugou moved closer to you, moving to keep his head buried in the crook of your neck to muffle his sounds and to keep as quiet as much as possible. You both had one thought in mind, trying to get rid of the awful tension inside of you, begging for an Alpha.
You heard the soft whines from Katsuki. You wrapped your arms around him, feeling his body as easily as you could. The feeling of his sex against yours was euphoric and enough to make more slick drip out of you. The sticky sound between the two of you was muffled by the blankets around you but was still easily heard enough by the both of you to have you clench on nothing.
You turned your head up to the ceiling, letting your hot heavy breaths out into the open. You felt Katsuki move his hands over to your body, keeping himself pressed against you as his warm skin was up against yours. “Y/N…” He let out in a needing whisper, so quiet and yet so desperate.
“Katsuki…” You whispered back in response as you felt the tension within you build, forcing you to press against him harder. It seemed as though Katsuki was in the same boat, shifting to move your nightgown up and out of the way once more as continued. You groped at his ass hard, the fat of his round bubble butt seeping through your fingers as you did so. Katsuki groaned into the blanket, pushing back into your grasp, wanting.
You were so close. So close. You just couldn’t afford to stop.
Katsuki’s hips stuttered with a keen as he reached his own high first, his hips moving hard against you and that was enough to knock you over the edge. With a gasp you found yourself coming. You wrapped your arms around him, keeping him clinging to you as your thighs shivered and your sex twitched in pleasure.
Finally you both came down from it. Katsuki resting on top of you, with his eyes closed as he lay on top of you. Warm slick dripped from Katsuki’s sticky cunt onto your own making you gasp as your slick mixed together. The air was filled with your scents heavy and laced with pleasure and content morphed together.
Katsuki carefully moved back to beside you, his arms keeping a hold of you to keep you against him.
You opened your eyes to meet his tired gaze. Katsuki looked to you with a crimson half lidded gaze filled of content. He put his forehead against yours, taking a moment with you. You couldn’t help the soft giggles that bubbled out of your chest and neither could Katsuki.
It was still early in the morning when the two of you had gone to the well to fetch water. You carried the wooden water buckets, one each, as you tracked over to a part of the village where the well was.
Most of the village was just waking up and the streets were still mostly empty with the occasional Omega walking by to go do the washing or walking back with their own full buckets of water too.
Katsuki put down the bucket he was holding against the stone wall pf the well. He looked down at the water in the well before looking up at the hook. You handed him the bucket you were holding. He put the handle of the bucket onto the hook.
“There’s more water today.” Katsuki said as he carefully took a hold of the rope and lowered down the bucket to the water line.
You moved over to the wall of the well, looking down with high brows. “There is. That’s good news.” You spoke optimistically.
Katsuki frowned with a hum. “Or a flood.” He entertained as he looked down concerned.
“There hasn’t been a flood in over a decade, Katsuki.” You reminded him as you put your hands to the rope as well. You both started pulling the rope, watching as the wheel turned to slowly pull up the heavy bucket of water.
Katsuki left you to hold up the bucket as he pulled the bucket closer onto the edge of the wall of the well, before unhooking it and lowering it down to the ground.
You both had one more bucket left. Katsuki was about to hook the bucket before you both heard a whistle. The particular tune made the hairs at the back of your neck stand up and made you go stiff. You both turned around to see him. He had his hands in his pockets as he whistled and walked over to the two of you. His white hair was vivid in the early morning light as he seemed to walk rather languidely towards the both of you. A tired smirk was on his face as he faced the two of you. “Well, look what I have here. Two little Omegas all alone.” He spoke mockingly as he walked over to you.
You frowned as you faced him fully. Bakugou put down the empty bucket and let out a hiss to him, in warning for him to stay away from the two of you. You took his hand and moved Katsuki behind you. “Touya.” You spoke softly, keeping your head down.
The only reason you did that was because you knew that Todoroki Touya was the eldest son of Todoroki Enji. He was an Alpha who wasn’t very loved by the Omega population of the village. Although he was rather forceful in a lot of his advances, he was smart and he did what he had to for the village, or at least for his own selfish interest as wanting to be the next Head Alpha.
Touya was slow, his cold blue eyes on the two of you. “You know, it’s not safe for the two of you to be out here all alone. Omegas shouldn’t go out without their Alphas.” He advised as he took another step forward making you both uncomfortable. Katsuki glared as he leaned down forward towards the both of you. “You could run into someone dangerous.”
Katsuki held your hand tighter as he tightened his glare. “We are fine.” He defended.
The taller Alpha tilted his head as he looked down at the two of you. “You know...” He started as he looked at the both of you with a look in his eyes that made you feel uncomfortable. His eyes racking your bodies like you were meat on a silver platter. You moved closer to Katsuki. “As the next Head Alpha of the pack, I need an Omega or two for my benefit...” A low growl was at the back of his throat as he moved in closer to the two of you. “Two beautiful Omegas to keep my bed warm, bare my pups and run my house. So what do you say? Finally want to take my proposal?”
Katsuki barred his tiny fangs as he stepped forward. “We would never serve an Alpha like you.” He defended, stepping away from you to stand in front of you.
Touya raised an eyebrow. Before you could understand what was going on, you saw the white haired Alpha grab Katsuki and force him against him. Katsuki let out a trill in shock as his back was forced against Touya’s front, forced by a firm hand to the neck. Katsuki struggled, gripping at Touya’s warm hand trying to force himself out of his grip.
You trilled out in distress. “Katsuki!”
Touya held onto Katsuki’s neck tighter with a growl, forcing Katsuki’s cheeks together. “You really think you’re smart, huh?” He growled down at him viciously. “You think you have any say on the matter? One word to my father and-” Suddenly you saw Katsuki bite down on Touya’s hand viciously. The Alpha let out a growl, but kept a tight hand on Katsuki. “You little-” With a tight grip to the front of Katsuki’s shirt. The blond tried to tug away, trying to break free of his hold with hisses. That’s when Touya got an idea and ripped open Katsuki’s shirt. Instantly the blond started to freeze as a rush of fear went down his back at the action. His scent went sour as his heartbeat increased. “You want to be treated like a bitch, then I’ll treat you like one.”
You let out a loud trill, looking for something, anything to help Katsuki. You quickly grabbed the empty bucket on the ground and moved over behind him. With all your might you swung it high to hit him in the back of the head. Touya swore as he cupped the back of his head, letting go of Katsuki. You quicky grabbed Katsuki and held him away from Touya, keeping his front to you as the blond tried to keep his shirt together.
You held onto Katsuki possessively. “Leave us alone!”
Touya flicked his gaze back to you, pupils thin in anger as they locked onto you. It felt as though a bucket of cold water went over you both as you slowly retreated back away from him. He let out a low growl standing back up straight as he neared the both of you.
Suddenly you saw a flash of black and Touya was gone. A loud growl rang through the area and finally more bystanders found their way towards you. On the ground nearby was Eijiro and Touya. Eijiro had him pinned down to the ground in pure rage as he held down Touya. Eijiro’s pupils thinned in anger as he kept his gaze stuck on Touya as he barred his sharp teeth and canines in a loud growl of pure rage. Touya barred his canines back, trying to assert back dominance again. Touya tried fighting back against the large black-haired Alpha but Eijiro forced him back on the ground roughly with a loud roar to his face, large canines dripping in venom.
Immediately running over to the scene was the large sire of Eijiro, Takeo Kirishima. The large Alpha who was an older but splitting image of his son, looked over to make sure his son was winning the brawl before turning to the both of you. His ruby eyes stayed stuck on you both as he neared the two of you in worry. He let out a grunt, checking in on the both of you, sniffing close to you to make sure you were both alright.
You let out a chirp, in gratitude. Katsuki opened his mouth to reply but then a whine escaped his throat at the sting in his neck. He clutched at his shirt, trying to stay modest and keep his chest out of sight as he kept his hands to his front. Takeo took notice of it. He scowled, clearly unimpressed with what had happened before him and his son arrived. He knew that Touya did that, there was no need to question who else it could be. You held Katsuki closer to you in worry, rubbing your forehead against him to try and comfort him.
You both watched as Eijiro was punching the lights out of Touya, clearly with the intent of killing. His large body towered over his as his eyes seemed almost made up that Touya was a dead man. His muscles rippled as he pounded at the skinnier Alpha.
Soon running over was Enji as a bigger crowd came into view. He let out a loud growl, quieting the crowd but not stopping Eijiro. Enji scowled as he stood nearby. “Eijiro.” he let out lowly in warning, trying to get the young Alpha to stop but Eijiro didn’t.
Before Enji could get fed up, Takeo stepped forward with a low growl. “Eijiro.” The young Alpha paused as he whipped his head to his sire. Eijiro was breathing heavily as he was hunched over Touya, his large hands gripping the Alpha harshly, knuckles covered in blood that wasn’t his own. Takeo, motioned with his head to come over. “Leave.” He commanded. Eijiro glared back at a bloody nosed, Touya but let go of him and walked over to his sire. The sight made Enji furious.
Although Head Alpha, there was only one person that the Kirishimas listened to and that was the Head of their family, currently, Kirishima Takeo. With a family full of Alpha primes, it was a wonder how come the Kirishimas weren't the Head Family of the pack. It was one of the reasons Enji hated Takeo. The Kirishimas were just a family that had to be respected, just as much and if not more than them. As farmers, the Kirishimas knew what the common family went through and even then only had the best interest of the pack in mind.
Touya got up with the help of Natsuo and Fuyumi, a growl coming out of his chest. Before he could lunge back at Eijiro, Takeo let out a loud threatening growl, warning him not to even try it. The older Alpha glared back at him, his red eyes saying more than he did.  It caused Touya to pause before scowling and looking away from him. Takeo flicked his gaze to Enji, who met his gaze. Cold blue met ruby red.
Takeo scowled. “Meeting, this evening.” He spoke simply. Enji didn’t say anything, but he clearly didn’t ignore what Takeo said either. Takeo didn’t wait for a reply as he moved back to you and Katsuki.
Eijiro let out a soft whine in worry as he neared the two of you. Takeo noticed Katsuki shirt again. He took off his own shirt, finding very little use in the thing and handed it to the two of you. Know Katsuki and knowing how much this situation would affect him, and you, he didn’t say a word, just turning around and folding his arms over his chest as he glared at anyone who wanted to peak at you both. A low growl thrown over at anyone who dared. Eijiro instantly did the same thing, the two Alphas blocking out with their large bodies any peaking eyes to the two of you.
Katsuki let out a breath as he felt finally safe for a moment. He glanced at you. You nodded your head urging him to put it on. Katsuki looked at the large tunic. He carefully slipped it over his own torn one. It consumed him like a dress, but it covered his chest and hid everything away. He lifted up the collar of the shirt up to his nose, before taking an inhale. He then motioned for you to come take a sniff too. It smelled like Eijiro’s scent but not quite. It was warm and felt comforting, like something warm and savoury. It was comforting. It wasn’t Eijiro’s, but it was close enough.
Katsuki straightened up and let out a chirp, taking the attention of the two Kirishima Alphas. Takeo turned back first before Eijiro. Noticing that you were both dressed modestly now and covered, he motioned to the two of you. “Home.” he stated simply. He motioned for you and Katsuki to go first. You then both assumed a place between both Kirishimas. You waddled your way back to the well where one of your broken buckets were.
Ignoring the broken bucket, you moved to pick up the heavy water bucket that was filled. However, Eijiro took it from you effortlessly with one hand. Katsuki stood over the broken bucket that you had used to hit Touya in the back of the head with. He frowned at the sight of it. He didn’t want to be the cause you didn’t have another bucket anymore. He picked up the broken pieces with a bothered look  on his face.
Before he could say anything he set forward again, with you and the two Kirishima Alphas. It was an odd sight. You, Katsuki and two towering thick muscled Alphas who looked like they were ready to attack anything and anyone who came near you two. One could smell the possessiveness on the two of them, almost as if they were on alert for your security. You appreciated it though.
You had heard many things and experienced many things when it came to Kirishima Takeo. He was a lovely Alpha and a loving sire too. You remembered as a pup he used to play around with all of you, chasing you around and rough housing with all of you. He was always so caring, always offering help to people and families that needed it. Even when his Omega was pregnant, you had heard from Inko that he always took the time to rub her feet because he appreciated her so much.
Sooner rather than later, you reached back to your home, faster than it would have to walk to the Bakugous two blocks down. Takeo knocked on the door for your home, waiting for Aizawa to come out.
The first to appear was Hitoshi, who looked still rather tired this early in the morning. However at the sight of you, Katsuki in a shirt that wasn’t his, a broken bucket and two Kirishimas, he knew something was either wrong or it was the beginning to a bad tavern joke. Without even a word, he left to find Aizawa. It didn’t even take a minute and Aizawa appeared at the door. He motioned for you and Katsuki to go inside as he stayed outside to talk to the Kirishimas.
Hizashi was inside as he motioned for the two of you to come forward. Aizawa folded his arms as he talked outside to Takeo and Eijiro. Hizashi flocked the two of you upstairs to your bedroom, away from the Alphas that were talking together. His blond eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he glanced a the two of you. “What happened? Why are the Kirishimas here?” He asked concerned.
Before you could talk, Katsuki spoke first. “Nothing happened.” He stated as he turned to walk back to go to your wooden chest with all your clothes.
Hizashi furrowed his eyebrows before turning to you. You waved it down, silently telling him that you would tell him later. He hesitated but he nodded his head. As Hizashi left the two of you, closing the door slightly, you turned to Katsuki. You were silent for a moment as you put your hands in front of you. You let out a sigh as you walked over to him.
You gently placed a hand on his shoulder making Katsuki pause. “Katsuki…” He was deadly still. You moved another step forward. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine.”
“Katsuki.”
“I’ll make sure to buy you a new bucket.”
“Katsuki.”
“Y/N, I said I’m fucking f-” Just as he turned around you, moved to hold the back of his neck and you pulled him into a hug. You kept him close to you as you buried his face in your neck as you released comforting pheromones. At first Katsuki didn’t move as he was in your embrace, but then you felt him shiver in your grasp. You tightened your arms around him as you comforted him.
Katsuki moved his hands to clutch at the back of your shirt as he buried his face closer to you. You knew how much he didn’t want you to see him crumble but you also knew that you were the only one that he allowed himself to cry in front of other than his dam. You carefully moved him over to your nest. Katsuki held onto you, burying his face in your chest as hiccups bubbled out of his chest. You tried keeping in your own cries as you held him, allowing him to just process what he was feeling.
Hisashi stood outside your door with a frown on his face at the smell of sadness from your scents and the sounds of Katsuki’s cries that he tried to muffle. He frowned as he turned to walk back downstairs once more. Aizawa stood outside with Takeo, their voices low as they spoke amongst one another. To his right, the blond Omega noticed Eijiro had put down the bucket of water that you and Katsuki had fetched. He now stood in the doorway of the kitchen looking up at the staircase at the crippled trills and cries from you and Katsuki.
A whine escaped the tall Alphas throat as he frowned, his large shoulders lowered in sympathy and worry as he looked up. He let out a soft rumble from his chest, looking almost as if he wanted to go upstairs to comfort the both of you.
Hizashi smiled at the young Alpha. He put a hand on Kirishima’s arm, taking his attention. He didn’t have to say much to see the worry in his round ruby eyes. “They’ll be okay.” He spoke gently. “Thank you for brining them back home.” He spoke words that he hoped were relevant. “You did good, Eijiro. Good job.” He praised, patting his arm.
Eijiro perked up at the praise. He smiled. He bowed his head in gratitude before flicking his head back up to the top of the stairs. Without prompt, Eijiro let out a rumble from his chest as he took off his shirt. Hizashi’s eyes widened in surprise at the action. Eijiro held up the soft cotton tunic to his neck. He rubbed his scent on it, a low rumble erupting from his chest as he soaked the shirt in his scent.
He handed over the shirt to Hizashi. “Y/N and Katsuki.” He urged. Hizashi’s light apple green eyes widened in surprise of the gesture. He looked down at the shirt in shock before looking up at the large Alpha again. Eijiro looked particularly eager as he motioned to the tunic again. “Help. I wanna help.”  He urged from Hizashi.
The blond Alpha softened at the gesture. He wasn’t sure if the two of you would accept it, not sure if you would even want it near your nest or not. He took the tunic and motioned for Eijiro to follow him. “Come on, big guy, just be quiet okay?” Eijiro nodded his head eagerly and obediently.
The large black haired Alpha followed Hizashi as quiet as he could for an Alpha of his size. He seemed to be barely containing his excitement as he looked around eagerly. Hizashi paused as he stood by your door. He raised a hand, motioning for Eijiro to stop, making sure that he couldn’t see your nest or anything inside. It was taboo for an Alpha to even see an Omegas nest without permission or without courting one another. Hizashi disappeared into the room for a moment.
Hizashi handed over the shirt to you. You looked up at him in surprise. He seemed rather encouraging of he item, before quickly leaving, as Katsuki had hidden his face away from Hizashi. You watched the older Omega leave your room with confusion written on your face. You tilted your head in confusion as you looked down at shirt.
You didn’t know who’s shirt this was, maybe Aizawa’s? You lifted it to your nose but immediately stilled. Katsuki sensed the change in demeanour instantly. He looked up with red eyes from crying. He noticed your eyes on the shirt in your one hand. Taking Katsuki by surprise, you released a loving purr from your chest. You looked down at the item adoringly. Katsuki shifted closer, taking a sniff. That’s when he noticed the scent coming from the shirt.
It smelled savoury and comforting. Woodland with a hint of something else. Something warm that you couldn’t put your finger on. But you knew this scent. You both adored this scent. It belonged to an Alpha that wasn’t yours but who you both wished was.
Purrs came from the both of you as you put the item between the two of you, loving the third scent missing from the mess of scents that was around you.
You both perked up in surprise at a sound. You both turned to the door. Although closed, you heard a rumble. A deep rumble from the other side of the door that you knew only belonged to one Alpha. Immediately you perked up at the sound, looking to the door as if he would appear at any moment. Katsuki gripped the bundles of blankets and furs underneath you, looking as if he wanted to fly to the other side of the door to Eijiro.
“Eijiro!” Eijiro turned his head back to downstairs, where his sire was calling him. He hesitated, looking between the door and back downstairs. He slowly let go of the door with a soft croon. He turned back to Hizashi and nodded his head. He left the door, heading back downstairs. He moved back outside beside his sire. Takeo looked at his son with a tilt of the head, noticing his shirt was gone. Eijiro tilted his head back confused as to what was the problem, with a chuft. Takeo rolled his eyes and turned back to Aizawa.
“After dinner?” Aizawa asked. Takeo nodded his head with an agreeing chuft. Aizawa nodded his head. “Consider it done.” Takeo motioned to Eijiro to follow him as the two of them made their way away from the front door. “Takeo!” The large Kirishima paused, turning to look back at Aizawa. Aizawa had his arms folded over his arms. “You have my support, and thank you, again. To you and your son.”
Takeo was quiet for a moment before shrugging his broad shoulders. “Were it my daughters in trouble, I would have expected someone to do the same.” He explained. With another nod of his head, he continued on forward with Eijiro following after him.
Aizawa was silent for a moment, watching the two Kirishimas leave. Part of him was worried at what might transpire at the meeting tonight, and yet another part of him didn’t care. It was the Kirishimas who came here to tell him what happened, not the Todorokis and that was enough for him.

Sokka’s sexism was not an important growing point for his character - an Essay
I’ve seen all the discourse online about people up in arms about the toning back of Sokka’s sexism in the Netflix ATLA. (Almost everyone I have spoken to have brought it up as a reason to hate the Netflix ATLA) I think that anger is knee jerk, and misguided. It never mattered WHAT the Netflix adaptation was changing, people were always going to be angry about it. They could have announced Momo is a girl now, and people would have raged. Momo being a girl would have changed NOTHING about the series, but people would have been outraged.
Just like I believe Sokka being sexist or not being sexist really changes nothing in the scope of the story, themes, and is not the character growth people claim it to be. Hear me out. Let’s break it down and think about it in terms of themes and character development and how it affects the entire plot.
Sokka is introduced as being cartoonishly sexist in the very first episode of ATLA. As a device simply to make Katara rage. He keeps this trait for a grand total of 3 episodes until episode four when a girl whoops his ass and his sexism is cured forever onward. In the span of a 30 minute episode Sokka’s sexism was given a what for and through that he was transformed into a better man?
Imagine if Zuko’s mental and emotional journey had been solved in a 30 min episode, and wasn’t a lessen he had to repeatedly fail and try and fail and try time and time again. Imagine if Katara’s waterbending journey, or obnoxious controlling nature was just solved in a 30 min episode and not something she struggled with and fought for the entire series.
But let’s say his sexism is super important as everyone claims. Let’s explore it.
When is it challenged ever again in the entire series?
When Sokka leads the invasion on the Fire Nation, there aren’t a bunch of women in that army. He leads an army of men.
When Sokka needs to find a sword master to teach him the art of sword play, it’s a man. He never needed to overcome sexism to accept a non-traditional master.
Nearly all women, sans Toph and Katara, that have any long lasting influential moments in Sokka’s character development are women he has a romance with. Woman whose motivations and agency rely on a man.
The Kyoshi warriors that kicked his ass? What of them? Sokka has to rescue Suki from prison. It’s not tackling some gender equality issue. Suki is a woman in distress and Sokka is the man who comes to rescue her. (Cute and romantic, but hardly tackling a gender cliche.)
Do the Kyoshi warriors ever engage in any actual battle that matters to the plot and win? Not really. Instead the important role of the Kyoshi warriors is to be nurturing to Appa while he’s lost. A traditionally female role. And to provide a way for Azula to overtake Bah Sing Sei. (Don’t get me wrong, I love the girls, but the show never again utilized them in a way that challenged sexism.)
Sokka didn’t need to overcome sexism to respect Azula. Azula commanded and earned all the respect she needed. Sokka didn’t need to overcome sexism to respect Toph. Toph earned his respect by kicking the ass of everyone around him.
At no point in the rest of ATLA was Sokka’s sexism ever challenged after episode 4. It never helped him become a better leader because he never had to lead women whose respect he needed to earn. It never helped him develop his warrior skills. It didn’t affect the plot and his growth as a character any farther than getting a hilarious butt whooping in the fourth episode.
Sokka overcoming sexism wasn’t well written, it was a GAG. A goof. Ha ha funny, man got his butt beat by women and was forever cured.
If we really think about it seriously, as character growth, people who have had sexism so rooted into their beliefs don’t just overcome it because one woman broke the status quo and kicked their ass. That’s lazy writing. It was lazy in the cartoon and it would have been extra lazy in a show that had even less time to explore the issue.
Sexism, if they REALLY wanted to tackle it as a serious issue, should have been a problem Sokka had to challenge several times, and have his preconceived notions proven wrong and dismantled. It should have made him a better leader, or a more respectful fighter.
Instead it’s treated like a joke.
The Netflix ATLA decided to tone it back with Sokka, because from a writing standpoint it made more sense thematically for Katara to challenge sexism with the Northernn water tribe. They didn’t have the time or the budget to poorly tackle the issue of sexism twice, so they focused tackling the issue where it mattered to the plot and where it mattered to KATARA’s character journey more.
I’m tired of people screaming how much they loved his sexism and how the Netflix adaptation is rotten without his sexism. It’s not a lack of media literacy that it was cut. It was media literacy that led to it being cut. A writer recognized when the message was important and when it wasn’t.
That’s all I got to say. You don’t have to agree with me. But these were my thoughts on the matter.

Let's talk about Spacetoons Mineta...
Tumblr media
Spacetoons is an arabic channel that semi-recently dubbed MHA. Some may call it "Arabic 4kids," but as someone who watched a substantial amount of shows in a 4Kids dub. (namely SonicX), that's not a fair comparison. The only 4 kids dub I actually enjoyed was that of "Kirby: Right back at ya"
Anyway, the BokuNometaAcademia sub brought to my attention the way that Mineta is written here. I have always hated how Hori used Mineta to live out his weird fantasies. The inclusion of Mineta's "comedy" turned a lot of people, me included off and honestly, why wouldn't it.
Spacetoons is more child-tuned so they did a lot of censorship, for example, look what they did to Momo
Tumblr media
(They also greatly improved her character)
You may be asking, "What did they do with Mineta?" Valid question considering 70% of his character is horny jokes. Well, the completely removed the perv aspect and made him a loveable kid who wants to fight his insecurities and be great hero.....
Tumblr media
I have always said it, Mineta holds some great potential. His moment during the USJ arc was a great stepping stone for some great character growth. The idea of a coward pushing to become a true hero is so different from the norm, but as we know, when it comes to MHA, potential don' get used.
From what I hear from spacetooneta, he is actually really likeable. He is so different from Canoneta that people mistaken him for a girl. The scenes where he is being pervy are either edited out completely or altered convincingly.
Tumblr media
They changed the scene from season 3's filler episode so that the context is as follows:
Kaminari and Mineta want to goof off at the pool
Mineta has overheard that the girls have booked the pool too
They convince Izuku to come w/them so that they can get there before the girls
Izuku invites Tenya and the others and Tenya makes them train instead of goofing off
The girls are here, goofing off while they have to train
The most nuts part is that viewers of that dub absolutely LOVE HIM. He suprassed Bakugou in popularity even. This shows that Hori could have made one of the most loveable characters in Shounen. Think about it, his design is already cute, just slap a cute personality on and everyone would love him. But no, he had to be a creepy perv.
Canon Mineta sucks man

MHA 2.22 - Yaoyorozu: Rising - part 2
Tumblr media
I want a Todoroki pinata for my birthday party.
Tumblr media
She really has a high opinion of Todoroki, doesn't she? That's sweet and all, but Momo, you are one of the smartest kids in your class, you got this!
Tumblr media
HE VOTED FOR HER! SHUT UP! THAT IS SO STINKING CUTE! It is like a literal 'vote' of confidence.
Tumblr media
I have no reason for putting this screenshot up other than the fact that looking at it makes me tingle.
Tumblr media
Speaking of tingles. Is Momo BLUSHING? Do I sense a crush in the air? If she doesn't think of a good plan quick, Todoroki is going to get strung up like a pinata again.
Tumblr media
She missed the switch! Girl, you have GOT to work on your hand-eye coordination. Pulling a catapult and a whole pile of metal out of her booba is a unique talent. Paired with her brains (if not her spatial awareness) her potential sky high.
Tumblr media
Look! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it Superman? No. It's a hot burrito flying in the sky! I love this funky shape changing metal. It looks kinda snug, but being encased in hot metal is a nightmare actually.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why does it look like Aizawa is taking a power nap? He would though. OR is he looking down so that Momo cannot see his face as he LIES like a lying liar.
Tumblr media
"Do you feel sick?" - Hahahaha! Sometimes I think Todoroki is a low-key unintentional comedy king.
Momo can't handle any blows to her confidence right now. Aizawa knows that, so he is letting her small mistake slide. It isn't truthful, but it is what she needs to hear to support her growth right now.
Tumblr media
Oh my god, Todoroki you absolute donut. Who sees someone cry and thinks, I know what will fix this, pressure points! So practical and yet so clueless.
Tumblr media
Granny is onto you Aizawa. He looked so excited to beat up his students, but when it comes down to it he is a sweetie.
I have gotten a tag request, @jessiedead If anyone else wants to be tagged I can start a little taglist. Let me know!

The Crossroads of Destiny
Strap in folks it's finally finale time!
I'm getting a bad feeling from the 'previously on' segment.
Tumblr media
*gasp* Song's bird horse!?!?!
Toph gets some serious speed with that earth tongue walking.
Ty Lee's flattery gets less and less subtle. I get the feeling that a lot of Azula's more worrying tendencies could have been curtailed if someone had stuck her on stage as a child.
Tumblr media
Is Zuko taller?
The cuts between these scenes are getting ridiculous. Some of these scenes are maybe 15 seconds long.
Zuko knows what's up. He and Iroh have teamed up on that particular fire breathing party trick before.
"It's time I face Azula." Buddy. No.
"You're so dramatic." POT. KETTLE. BLACK.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The last time Iroh and the Aang Gang teamed up, it was also against Azula. She has a way of uniting enemies.
Tumblr media
The longer I stare at this the more I giggle.
"Good inside him isn't enough. Why don't you come back when it's outside him too, ok?" Congratulations to Sokka for articulating one of the fundamental human truths. Intentions can go take a hike when all that's visible are actions.
I love that! Iroh says he brought someone along in a tone that very much implies that he asked for help from a friend! Then you go outside and see he kidnapped a dude! And then they just leave him there!
Tumblr media
I see your fake meditation. No one as rotten inside as this guy actually meditates properly.
Tumblr media
The Dai Li be like
Katara? Why are you ripping into Zuko? Why is Season one bitchy Katara back? I don't want season 1 bitchy Katara to come back.
"No offence." "None taken." Iroh loves his nephew, but Iroh knows his nephew.
The one time Iroh's advice is explicitly solicited is the one time his advice is corny crap. That sucks.
Ba Sing Se is a tel? That's neat.
Tumblr media
Hey Toph? Now would be a great time for that new metal bending trick of yours.
Tumblr media
Avatar inadvertently validating my fear of subway grates.
Tumblr media
I know this is life or death serious and all, but isn't the Sokka and Ty Lee dynamic cute?
Tumblr media
MOMO!
This episode's thesis statement boils down to "what happens when you cancel arts programs and theatre kids don't get a chance to monologue in controlled conditions."
Honest question: Is Azula actually so deluded to believe that Divine Right of Kings crap she just spouted, or is she saying what the Dai Li needs to hear to side with her? Usually I think everything out of Azula's mouth is a calculated statement for manipulating others, but the way the show framed that monologue makes me think she actually believes what she's saying.
This conversation between Katara and Zuko, aside from showing that Katara is as capable as Sokka at sticking her foot in her mouth, is actually showing Zuko's growth well. So many of the things that he waves away with an "it's ok" are things that would have made him explode back in season one. It's about time he redefined that scar of his too.
"Aang! I knew you'd come!" "Uncle! The fuck?" Zuko truly has a way with words.
Hey Iroh maybe save your heart to heart until after you've exited the prison?
Wait so this episode is named after Zuko's arc? It's Zuko's destiny this finale is dealing with? Poor Aang's not even the main character in his eponymous show's season finale? Dang.
Tumblr media
What was I saying about waiting to chat until you're outside the prison?
So every word out of Azula's mouth here is definitely a lie. She doesn't need Zuko at all. She's got a whole army and already has possession of the throne. What does she need with someone she considers to be an inferior firebender?
Father's love? That guy who burns off faces? The audacity.
"You are free to choose." Is it really freedom of choice if choosing the answer Azula doesn't want to hear ends with Zuko in a crystal cage?
Gotta say I'm intrigued by how quiet Zuko's being for this whole episode. Compare it to the volume of his confrontation with Azula at the Spa place at the beginning of the season.
This is so awful. This is so skin crawly. This is so going to end badly.
Toph can turn doors into ping pong balls. I like that. And what does she need Sokka scouting for Dai Li agents for? She can sense people for miles.
I love the line read on the "I'm not leaving without Bosco!" But does this guy really think he's in a position to make demands, after all the stuff he's ruined in the last, what, two days?
Tumblr media
This is a cool move. Full body air bitchslap.
Katara cut her hair! That's kind of like what she did to Pakku with the ice disks.
How has no one been knocked out yet? Everyone in this fight should have at least 5 concussions by now.
I don't know what to make of it, but when Zuko says "I have changed" he sounds more calm and confident than he has all season.
I love the dynamic between Sokka & Toph and Mai & Ty Lee. Everyone involved knows they're second string and no one's really that invested. So they're all kind of chill.
I don't know what's going on in this fight, but Zuko is far too talented and Katara and Aang are both going down too easily.
Tumblr media
And this right here is why this fight is only going to end badly for Aang. As soon as Azula's tired of playing, she'll call in reinforcements. Aang doesn't have those.
I hate Azula so much, which means I'm very annoyed to say that she and Zuko actually make a good fighting team. Did they practice drills together or something back in the day? They way they tag out and back in, and exchange fights, flows so well.
Jesus
Crap ok
She nerfed him in the power up sequence! That's not allowed!
Tumblr media
So help me god if the writers hook these two up after pulling this crap I will riot.
Iroh could have been helpful if he'd been there earlier. Guess it takes a while to break out of crystals. Although I do like the detail that he stops fighting as soon as Aang and Katara are out & safe.
Tumblr media
I was wondering why the magic water was randomly brought up earlier after disappearing for the entire season. I figured it had been lost in the desert with the rest of the stuff on Appa's saddle.
I'm so sorry, but the way Aang's arrow flashes once to confirm that Katara's saved him makes him look like an external USB device confirming successful connection.
I'm loving how immediate the regret from Zuko is. Proof that he has learned over the last two seasons.
"The Earth Kingdom... has fallen." AND WHOSE FAULT IS THAT? This King rubs me the wrong way. Consistently.
I'm fascinated by the fact that they managed to securely transport a bear on Appa's back.
Final Thoughts
Poor Aang has been demoted to secondary character in his own show. This finale was all Fire Nation.
Well done Azula. No matter which way you look at it, she won. If Azula was the main character, this episode would be the crowning glory series finale.
Sokka and Toph spent the whole episode running around putting out fires, only for five more to spring up in their place. I honestly don't know how they and Appa reconnected with the rest of the Gaang to fly out at the end. There's this feeling the whole episode of being consistently one too many steps behind, and I think it's most obvious in their incessant side quests.
Poor Katara went through about seventy billion emotions this episode. I take back my anger at her bitchiness. She deserved a vent session, although I don't think Zuko quite deserved to be the recipient of it. But he took it well.
Congratulations to Zuko for falling backwards into the only right choice for all the wrong reasons. This episode was only going to end with Azula victorious. She recruited an army and successfully executed a coup without breaking a sweat - that is not a level of enemy that Aang and friends has ever faced before, and not one they can realistically win against. Like with Long Feng, this is not a threat you can hit. You can't bend at ideologies and loyalties.
Zuko was going to end this episode siding with the Fire Nation as a free man, or in Fire Nation custody. This way, someone with an actual semi-functioning conscience now has access to the upper levels of the Fire Nation. This could be really interesting.
To be clear, I fully believe that Zuko chose to side with Azula because he swallowed her offer hook, line & sinker. For the guy who invented "Azula always lies" he sure does fall for her lies a lot, especially when she's saying exactly what he wants to hear. I believe Zuko believed her about getting his honour back bla bla bla, chose to follow her because of that belief, and has already realised at least some of what she said was lies by the end of the episode. Which is promising! It looks like there's potential for a Zuko mole next season!
I'm worried for Iroh. Firelords who burn their children's faces off with no shame don't strike me as the type to shy away from executing their brothers.
The Aang fakeout death at the end was not remotely believable unfortunately, mostly because kids' cartoons don't ever pull a Psycho and kill the nominal main character half way through. It probably would have freaked me out if I'd seen this episode as a kid though.
Azula hitting Aang during his power up sequence was inspired. A very well done subversion of expectations, which finally validates my frustrations with the concept of power up sequences in general. Few things bug me more than the mooks politely waiting their turn while the good guy does a quick wardrobe change.
So... is the war over? The Earth Kingdom's fallen, the Southern Water Tribe have been functionally out of the game for a while now. There's only the Northern Water Tribe left, which are only still standing because of a Hail Mary that I very much doubt Aang can pull off twice. So is next season's focus going to be defending the Northern Water Tribe from a final Fire Nation push? I think that's the only place that isn't conquered by the Fire Nation in name at least. On the bright side, this means the Gaang won't be returning to Ba Sing Se. Good riddance. I hate that place.
I've never seen a show with a finale that focuses so intensely on the conflict of someone other than the main character. I don't really know what to make of this episode. I think I liked the one before it better. To be clear, everything that happened made sense - characters were in character, events unfolded as expected (if you handwave an elite force of earthbenders preferring a 14 year old over their seasoned leader), but something about this episode is just a bit boring to me. Maybe they telegraphed it too hard in the previous episodes? I don't know. I'll have to chew on this one a bit.

KlubOutside Q&A 401-500 [Translation]
Translated by @reikorun
Q401.
2022.10.24
I'd like to ask you a question about BTW! Given that "Bruno" means "bull" (*buru = bull in Japanese) and the crest which represents "The Inks" is also reminiscent of Taurus, are you perhaps using the zodiac constellations as a reference for the names of characters?
A401.
No, that's not the inspiration. I didn't even consider the "bull" in "Bruno"…. Now that you've brought it up, it does appear as though I used that as source material, LOL.
Q402.
2022.10.31
It is said that the Gotei 13 constitutes just under 3000 people, but with this many Shinigami, is it possible that this can result in Zanpakutō with the same names? Also, will it ever have the same name as a Zanpakutō that existed in the past?
A402.
No two Zanpakutō can ever hold the same name in the same era. It may, however, share the same name as a Zanpakutō from the past.
Q403.
2022.10.31
What is the name of Ryūken's mother?
A403.
I have passed on background details to anime staff so depending on the composition of the story, it may appear in the anime.
Q404.
2022.10.31
Do you have a favorite character among the Dragon Quest heroines? I like Jessica.
A404.
I guess the childhood friend from Dragon Quest 4….
Q405.
2022.11.07
I have a question. Is the horizontal line running across Hisagi's nose a tattoo or tape…? In the anime, it was drawn to look very tape-like, but the one Kubo-sensei drew in color on the cover of the novel, for instance, is expressed with the same coloring as his "69" tattoo, so personally I assumed the anime turned it into something that was tape-like for a certain reason, but is it in fact a tattoo?
A405.
Did it really end up looking like tape…? It's a tattoo.
Q406.
2022.11.07
What is your favorite traditional Japanese sweet? Alternatively maybe I can ask, do you prefer sweet or salty?
A406.
I like sweet foods more, and I like almost all traditional Japanese confectionery made with Tsubuan (*chunky sweet red bean paste).
Q407.
2022.11.07
Will Ichika's Zanpakutō turn out to be Mirokumaru, the same one owned by Senna?
A407.
That won't happen. They're two different people and Mirokumaru isn't a name I came up with.
Q408.
2022.11.14
The certificate of residence bonus was wonderful! I'm a huge fan of the actual contents of course, but the red seal which secured the envelope and the "KOS" design representing the name of this fanclub is so cool.
A408.
This was Ishino-san's design proposal. Isn't it great?
Q409.
2022.11.14
About the Shiba siblings and Ichigo, are they cousins?
A409.
That's how it is.
Q410.
2022.11.14
The Granz brothers share the same birthday, height and weight, but are they considered twins?
A410.
They are.
Q411.
2022.11.21
What kind of dog is Uni-chan?
A411.
Pomeranian.
Tumblr media
Q412.
2022.11.21
I would like to learn more about the mechanics of Shunpo. Unlike teleportation, if you come under attack while moving, will the attack successfully land?
A412.
If it can keep up with the movement speed, the attack will land.
Q413.
2022.11.21
In volumes 15 and 32, Hitsugaya Tōshirō is seen making fun of Hinamori, calling her "bedwetter Momo", I believe this indicates that he's old enough to remember Hinamori from her early childhood. In the general overview of the Gotei 13 from "KaraBuri+", it's mentioned that his current concerns include the sluggish rate of his growth. Furthermore, in volume 26, Hinamori says "I don't need to be given advice about growing by Hitsugaya-kun!!" Judging by this, it seems that Hitsugaya has been experiencing a longer period of halted physical growth compared to others, however is it possible that he is older than Hinamori?
A413.
He's older.
Q414.
2022.11.28
I like the atmosphere of Soul Society's architecture. Are there any places you used as reference?
A414.
Other than Louis Kahn and Oscar Niemeyer which I mentioned in a previous Q&A, I like Brutalist architecture and have been aided by, or rather, influenced by the Royal National Theater in England, Corbusier's chapel in Ronchamp and the Trinity Church in Vienna to name just a few. Additionally, I also like the residence of Luis Barragán.
Q415.
2022.11.28
In chapter 302 of volume 34, "Pride on the Blade",  specifically on the double page spread where Byakuya says "because you aimed your blade at my pride", Rukia is drawn pressing a sword against her own neck through Zommari's ability. However, Rukia is seen clasping Senbonzakura rather than her own sword, a fact that has no direct relevance to the contents of the main storyline. Did Kubo-sensei draw it that way because you wanted to convey something?
A415.
I commented on this at the BLEACH exhibition.
Tumblr media
Q416.
2022.11.28
Since assuming the role of Captain, did none of Rukia's comrades tease her by calling her "Captain Abarai"? I'm curious if she's being called "Captain" in the first place, considering that the nickname "Kuchiki" has become commonplace among those around her.
A416.
Shunsui immediately began addressing her as "Captain", so calling her by the title of “Captain” very quickly caught on among everyone else. Shunsui has always been the type that would make an effort to immediately call a newly appointed Captain by their title and help them get used to the new environment quickly.
Q417.
2022.12.05
Sensei, is there a character from BLEACH that you would like to see made into a figurine, or do you have a favorite among those that already exist?
A417.
I think it would be great if a figurine of a scantily clad female character was released. If they have big boobs then anyone will do.
Q418.
2022.12.05
The following information has been recorded on Wikipedia regarding Ichigo's Zangetsu after the conclusion of the series:
"On top of being able to fight by choosing between single blade style and dual blade style while in Shikai (through changes to Reiatsu), while in Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu can be used in either a katana state (a combination of Tensa Zangetsu from the beginning and middle stages of the series), or in a large sword state (after special training with Urahara Kisuke and Hyōsube Ichibē of the Zero Division respectively)." Is this accurate?
A418.
Let's refer to official source material, not the wiki.
Q419.
2022.12.05
In the scene where Kenpachi meets Yachiru, Zaraki asks her "where did you come from?" Yachiru touches Zaraki's Zanpakutō, was this foreshadowing that Yachiru = Nozarashi?
A419.
Since I've already talked about Yachiru here, I can give you an answer: yes, you are correct.

Regarding the advertising slogans on the character cover art at the time of the Jump magazine publication, in addition to the catchphrases which accompanied the Captain & Vice-Captain cover art illustrations that were printed in the art book "All Colour But The Black" and the Jump special issues, are they created by Kubo-sensei rather than the editor? Are there also any other slogans devised by Kubo-sensei that were not included in said cases?
A420.
My editor writes all the slogans. The editor who did the work around the Captain and Vice Captain title pages, is Nakano-san who is currently the editor-in-chief of Jump.

Where in the body is the location of the "Saketsu" and "Hakusui", often referred to as "the heart of a Shinigami"?

In the context of acupuncture points, I imagine that the Saketsu is the equivalent of "Jade Hall", and Hakusui is around the "Heavenly Pivot". ×[1]

What was the most stressful event in your life?
A423.
I guess it was when I first appeared on stage at Jump Festa. It was before the series had an anime adaptation, so there were only three of us: myself, my editor, and the female host, it was tough. I think it was at this time that I did my first ever autograph session.

If anything, it always bothered me to no end that there was a certain air about the BLEACH anime where it appears to be trying to make it look as though Ichigo and Rukia were in love with each other. How much did you tell the anime staff about your vision for the final landing spot of the original work?
A424.
I didn't tell them anything because no one asked me about it. Before the anime aired I was only told “the entirety of the Soul Society arc should be covered in one year”, so I thought "oh, the anime will end in a year." I can't remember very well whether or not the anime tried to turn Ichigo and Rukia into lovers.

Akon's skin tone is painted in a different color between the Thousand-Year Blood War arc color pages and KaraBuri, is this something intentional? I remember his complexion being quiet pale, so it caught me by surprise to see him painted with some color in his cheeks in the Thousand-Year Blood War.
A425.
At the beginning of TYBW, I used a color that gave him a bit more of a typical human complexion as it creates a contrast with Mayuri. Was the color choice really that dark…?
Q426.
2022.12.26
Has Kubo-sensei checked the lines in the English-language edition of BLEACH? Are the nuances and so on reflected in the English translation?
A426.
I like the English language, but it's not like I can read it so I don't check them.

A question regarding Findorr. During his conversation with Hisagi, the way in which there is a repeated exchange of questions and answers, until finally Findorr makes a serious attempt at his life after an incorrect answer is given, in addition to Pinza Aguda, it reminded me of the Yōkai Kanibōzu. I was wondering if that's where sensei also developed his ideas from.
A431.
When I looked it up, it turned out there is indeed such a Yōkai! That wasn't the source of my inspiration, but I love Yōkai so I'm glad to have learned about one I had no idea existed.

All four of the Seireimon Gatekeepers have gigantic bodies, but I wonder if they have increased in size naturally or if they are using a kind of enhancement drug or something in order to serve as Gatekeepers.
A433.
Being a Gatekeeper of the Seireimon is an occupation only held by those who possess a huge physique on an exceptional scale.

If Shinigami had a driver's license, who would you say is the best driver and who is the worst?
A435.
I suppose it depends on what measure of skill we use, but if we're talking about safe driving, then it's Isane, if it's about mastery, then it's Kisuke, as for those who are bad at driving… I get the feeling that a lot of them would be quite bad…. Kenpachi would probably crash first….

I think the Espada, Nnoitra Gilga, is an Arrancar who embodies an abundance of praying mantis elements, both in terms of his Zanpakutō name and its release call, but also in terms of his personality which appears to fit the idiom "praying mantis's axe" (*courageous but doomed resistance). The other day, a program called "Amazing Insects!" featuring Kagawa Teruyuki-san was being rebroadcast on TV, and I learned about a praying mantis called "Peruvian shield mantis" which is characterized by its round thorax. Is this praying mantis the original motif for the round part of his clothes behind his head?
A436.
When I searched it up, it really did resemble Nnoitra! Interesting way of looking at things but it's just a coincidence.

It seems that Yammy's Fracción Kukkapūro was left in the spot where Yammy died, but was he safe when the Quincy launched their assault in the final arc?
A437.
He's safe. Well, to be honest, if you had asked me this before I got my dog Uni, I would probably have said that he's dead…. But now, I can no longer bear to watch any form of entertainment where an animal dies, so Kukkapūro is fine.

Sensei, although you draw BLEACH as a battle-themed manga, do you always bear in mind that it also has aspects of horror manga while writing it? I ask this question because I read the new one-shot and it reminded me of the consistent presence of horror elements which has been there since the beginning and that made me curious.
A439.
Wherever it was that I felt "it might be more interesting if it was slightly scary here", I would go ahead and draw it with a slight touch of eeriness. Though, I don't have any particular intention of drawing manga in a horror-like style. I'm not good with scary stuff. I can't handle scary stories or movies at all, but I'm fine with the ones I've drawn myself.

Within the story of BLEACH, multiple anesthetic drugs were presented such as Shinten, Gaten and Hōten, but are drugs like Gaten and Hōten effective even on people with high Reiatsu?

That's correct. Out of those Shinten is the weakest, followed by Gaten, then Hōten which has the strongest effect and can even come to take effect on individuals who possess a powerful Reiatsu.

Kubo-sensei, do you use BLEACH LINE stamps?
A441.
Deciding whether or not to use stamps from one's own work is a matter that varies among artists, but I'm the type who's too embarrassed to use them. My editor and my friends often use BLEACH stamps.
Q442.

Did Kubo-sensei come up with the novel titles, like "The Honey Dish Rhapsody" and "Can't Fear Your Own World"? I'm especially interested in the "knot" from the title "We Do knot ALWAYS LOVE You" because it reminds me of Yumichika's line "it's much harder to tie than to untie."
A442.
"Can't ~" was suggested by Narita-san and I gave it the okay, the rest are titles I came up with. The "knot" from "We Do knot~" as you correctly pointed out, was extracted from Yumichika's line.

Sensei, does Orihime still work at the bakery? Or has she become a housewife and is occupied with raising her child?
A443.
By the time of the one-shot, Kazui has grown somewhat and Ichigo also has a job that allows him to stay at home a fair amount, so she works part-time at the bakery every now and then.
Q444.

What exactly did sensei do in order to improve his drawing skills? Did you do things like drawing rough construction lines, or did you try copying your favorite pictures?

Of course I tried drawing by imitating my favorite manga, but it was never something good enough to be called a 'copy'. I still don't know the proper way to draw construction lines.

When did Ichigo get his hair cut short? Was it Yuzu-chan who cut it for him at the time as well?

The subtitles of chapter 129 and chapter 130, which were included in volume 15 of BLEACH, were titled "Etude of Transcendent Technique" when they were published in Jump magazine. Does Hinamori Momo's theme music comprise of "glass elevator", which was unveiled on the JET special website, in addition to the fourth étude "Mazeppa"?
A448.
That is a title dedicated to Ichigo's training. When putting the chapters into a tankōbon, I thought the main focus here should be Hinamori, so I changed the title in that direction. Wow, I never would have guessed that I'd receive a question about the subtitles at the time they were being published in the magazine.

The front cover of volume 70 features Haschwalt, but why is the illustration different when the book jacket is removed? Is this something sensei intended? I was curious because the book jacket of the other volumes was the same as the inner cover illustrations. I mean, his expression on the book jacket looks like a cold stare, but when you remove it, you can see a little light in his eyes and his expression is also somewhat melancholic…. To go further, in the opening poem, his eyes are closed. When you follow that sequence, like the fluctuations in the emotional state of Haschwalt himself, you're left with an indescribable feeling. I was observing, thinking how amazing it was that the sequence of facial expressions synchronized with the opening poem!
A450.
The variations are intentional.

Is the reason why Nemu's breasts have gotten so big a side effect of changes in Kubo-sensei's art style throughout the series? Or is it because Nemu has developed? Or perhaps Kubo-sensei finds it more fun to draw them bigger?

I love Kitarō as much as I love Bleach, so I get excited every time Kubo-sensei talks about it. I love Mizuki Shigeru-sensei's manga of course, but I also love the Kitarō anime, has Kubo-sensei ever watched it? I like the sense of distance between Yōkai and humans in the second season (70's).
A456.
I've only watched the third season. (It's not that I dislike the others.) In the third season, there was a guest appearance by an original character known as Yumeko-chan, so it appears to be an unconventional choice among fans, but I like her. The rendering style for Kitarō is completely different from the original work (like his hair type), but when I was in elementary school, I used to draw Kitarō in both the style of the anime and the original work.

I would like to know if there are any painters that Kubo-sensei likes or any that have influenced him. Thank you.

My favorite painter, or perhaps I should say, my favorite painting is 'Flowers In a Vase' by Édouard Manet (or more accurately, it's something like 'Carnations and Clematis in a Crystal Vase'). When I was a student, I tore out a calendar page which had that picture printed on it and pasted it to the wall of my room.

It seems possible to interpret it as the form of Yoruichi-san being sealed into a different one, that of a black cat, however it also appears to be fundamentally different to Hadō and Bakudō. Is it a power that diverges from Kidō? Or perhaps it's some kind of technology belonging to Urahara-san?

In the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, when they gathered energy as part of the world distortion repair team, and in the novel CFYOW, after the battle with Tsunayashiro and company had concluded, Hiyori came to the Soul Society in a normal manner. Does that mean the other Visoreds who remained at their base of operations are able to travel back and forth between Soul Society and the Human World like normal now? Are they opening the Senkaimon by themselves? I assume if they don't have a Hell Butterfly, they'd be sent through the Dangai…. When Ichigo addresses members of the Gotei 13, regardless of their rank, he either drops the honorifics in their name, or attaches the polite suffix '-san', like "Byakuya" versus "Rangiku-san" for instance. Does he have some kind of criteria? I can understand dropping honorifics if it's an opponent he once fought or something, but for example, when he interacts with Tōshirō for the first time in the story (with the Hitsugaya advance party), Ichigo was already calling him just "Tōshirō!", so that got me curious.

When Grand Fisher confronted Isshin in his Shinigami form, he made a statement along the lines of "Kurosaki Ichigo is a Shinketsu (*true blood)", but what exactly did he mean by "Shinketsu". My prediction is that the word refers to a being who happens to possess all the elements of "Shinigami, Quincy, Hollow and human", or perhaps a being born between a Quincy and a Shinigami.

"Shinketsu" refers to a Shinigami who was born from a Shinigami, not an individual from Rukongai who became one.

I like Hisagi and always look forward to seeing his Zanpakutō in action ever since its first appearance, but the phrase "a shape that reaps life" appealed to me so much that Kazeshini became my favorite Zanpakutō. Hisagi exudes a strong impression of a character who is often toyed with, so I recall being very happy because he was surprisingly cool. Nevertheless, it's because my mental image of Hisagi was just as the aforementioned, that I also remember being taken by surprise after seeing Kazeshini. There are some characters whom I think have a Zanpakutō that is different to their image, and some characters whom I think have a Zanpakutō which suit them perfectly. So, I'm curious whether sensei creates a character first and then thinks about their Zanpakutō, or if it's the other way around.

Off the top of my head, they come after the character. The same goes for Hisagi, of course.

This is a question regarding Ōetsu's line, "I know the whereabouts of every Asauchi" which appears in volume 59. I considered that perhaps this so-called "whereabouts" has three components:
1. Physical location ①
2. Physical location ②
3. Psychological & spiritual location
First of all, "1. physical location ①" is the storehouse where the Asauchi are kept, which will be distributed to those who will soon enter the Shin'ō Academy and become Shinigami or members of other organizations. Even in this case, it certainly would be surprising for Ichigo, but I don't think it's something to be that boastful about. This is because it is (most likely) a teacher from the Shin'ō Academy who takes out Asauchi from the storehouse and then distributes them, so it's not Ōetsu's privilege.
Next, "2. physical location ②" means that, similar to GPS, he can perceive the current location of all Zanpakutō which have been released from their Asauchi.
Finally, "3. Psychological & spiritual location" is the key point where Shinigami who possess Asauchi liberate their Asauchi. I believe there is a standard which dictates how far a Shinigami needs to go before they are able to release it, and I wonder if Ōetsu knows what that standard is for all Shinigami. Knowing the key point for the release criterion of all Shinigami extending from Soul Society let alone to the various locations in the Human World is truly an extraordinary feat which deserves to be called 'god-like'.
It's not the best idea to base things on personal impressions, so I would appreciate your opinion or answer regarding this analysis.
A488.
What Ōetsu meant is that he knows "who owns the Asauchi and what kind of state it is in" so no. 3 is the closest.

In the story of Isshin and Masaki-san's chance encounter, we observed an injury, received from a Hollow, which had undergone treatment. But, I wonder if it involves the Kishi being treated directly, or if the soul is treated after being extracted from the Kishi, or perhaps the soul is treated directly through the Kishi? Which one is it? Since Shinigami do not harbor Kishi in the first place, they only have a method of treatment for the soul, and since the Quincy are living human beings, I think it was necessary to establish a treatment method that directly affects the soul through the Kishi.
A491.
There are Quincy who treat only the Kishi, and there are Quincy who have the ability to treat even Reishi alongside the Kishi.

The art exhibition was so amazing! I would like to know about three characters in particular who appeared in the exhibition illustrations. Is the man wearing glasses next to Ikumi-san her husband?? Is the boy in the suit next to Nelliel Shishigawara-kun?? I also want to know about the pink-haired woman to the upper left of Uryū. It took me 20 odd hours to put the puzzle together, but I finished it without incident so now it's displayed in my room!
A492.
The pink haired woman is Riruka. You are correct about the other two.

It's something I noticed when looking at the newly drawn illustrations made for the art exhibition, but has Kubo-sensei never drawn Harribel outside of her Espada look (such as in a swimsuit)? I wound up paralyzed after seeing all the different versions in Brave Souls. There are swimsuits for Nelliel and Riruka, but now that I think about it… I started to wonder about something. Is the reason why there were few opportunities to draw Harribel, because it's difficult to integrate her with other characters?
A493.
It doesn't seem like Harribel would be willing to wear a swimsuit, does it?

The back of Kisuke's haori from volumes 2 to 5 has a circle with the character "喜" (*ki from "Kisuke") within it, but it disappears from volume 6 onwards. Does this design change have any significance? Or does Kisuke wear two types of haori that he made himself?
A494.
I got rid of it because it was too tedious to draw, but maybe I should just pretend that he has two? Well, from a design perspective, I prefer for it to be simple without that particular aspect to it.

What will happen to the returned Zanpakutō of Shinigami who have left their position in the Gotei 13? Will Ōetsu turn them into Asauchi again?
A495.
After being stored for a fixed period of time, they are returned to Ōetsu and made into Asauchi again. The length of this "fixed period" depends on the owner.
Q496.

When a child is born among inhabitants of Soul Society, does that soul belong to someone who died in the Human World? Or, is it that inhabitants who died in the Human World are mixed together with inhabitants of Soul Society who were born and raised there?

All newly born children are inhabitants of Soul Society.

Is there even the slightest possibility that Luppi could be a girl? When I first saw Luppi I thought "she's super cute"…. So I was shocked to hear a male voice actor perform the role in the anime. Up until then, I had been calling him "Luppi-chan".
A499.
Even if there isn't the slightest chance, please keep calling him "Luppi-chan".

Towards the end of Volume 55, Mayuri remarks towards the Captain Commander: "that time, 1000 years ago, you failed to kill that man", but the words "that time" suggests that Mayuri also happened to be present on that occasion. Do his words actually carry this nuance?
A500.
Mayuri found out about it in the course of researching other things. He was not actually present.

Most hated characters according to the internet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reasons:
1.Mahito
(I) Pleasure in Battle: Mahito draws pleasure from fights, making him an extremely dark character in the series. It’s frustrating to face an adversary who fights purely for the thrill, rather than any noble motive
(ii) Cold Rationality: Unlike other villains who lose their rationale easily, Mahito remains cool-headed and highly rational. His portrayal as the embodiment of human fear and hatred leaves no room for emotion. This lack of empathy makes him even more unsettling.
(iii) Nihilistic Philosophy: Mahito adheres to nihilism, believing that life lacks inherent meaning. His chaotic worldview stems from evil desires, resentment, and the corruption of humanity
(iv) Manipulative Sadism: Manifested out of sheer hatred and human suffering, Mahito thrives on manipulating human emotions. He takes pleasure in making those around him suffer, adding to his sadistic natu
2. GABI
(I). Sasha’s Tragic Death: She killed Sasha, one of the most beloved characters in the franchise. Sasha’s death was a heartbreaking moment for audiences and other characters in the story.
(ii) Eldian Identity and Marleyan Influence: Gabi is an Eldian, but she despises her own heritage. Born and raised in Marley, she has been surrounded by people who convinced her that Eldians are devils. Despite being one of them, she wishes she were Marleyan.
(iii) Hypocrisy and Aggression: Gabi’s constant aggressive display of hatred towards Eldians, despite being one herself, is seen as hypocritical and annoying by some fans. Her sass, badassery, and frequent screaming have divided the fandom into two camps: those who empathize with her and those who find her irritating.
3. SAKURA
(I) Inconsistent Character Development: . Despite her raw strength and impressive medical ninjutsu, she frequently relied on stronger characters to save the day. This inconsistency frustrated fans who wanted to see her shine consistently.
(ii) Swinging Between Independence and Dependence: Some fans find Sakura’s character frustrating due to her oscillation between wanting independence and relying on others. This inconsistency can be annoying and contributes to the mixed feelings about her.
(iii) Treatment of Naruto: Early in the series, Sakura was often mean to Naruto. While Naruto’s behavior was initially obnoxious, Sakura’s treatment of him didn’t endear her to fans.
(iv) Obsession with Sasuke: Sakura’s infatuation with Sasuke Uchiha was a point of contention. Her unwavering loyalty to him, despite his actions, frustrated viewers who wanted her to focus on her own growth.
4. Shou Tucker
**Shou Tucker**, the infamous character from *Fullmetal Alchemist*, has earned a special place in the hearts of fans—for all the wrong reasons. Let's delve into why he's so widely despised:
i. Unforgivable Experiments:
- Tucker's most heinous act was fusing his own daughter, Nina with their pet dog, creating a horrifying chimera. The Elric Brothers witnessed Nina's suffering, and her loss became deeply personal for viewers .
- The fact that he did this twice (once with his wife and then with Nina) is chilling.
ii. Lack of Remorse:
- Unlike other villains, Tucker shows no remorse for his deeds. Even the homunculi, with their twisted natures, exhibit some human-like faults. Tucker, however, is a cold sociopath who killed his daughter out of fear of poverty .
5. MINETA
(i) Perverted Behavior: Mineta’s disturbingly immature and perverted tendencies are a major point of contention. His attraction toward girls, particularly Momo and Tsuyu, is often expressed in a creepy manner. Fans find this behavior off-putting and cringe-worthy.
(ii) Lack of Character Development:. Some viewers argue that he lacks significant growth or development throughout the series. His perversion tends to overshadow any positive moments he has
(iii) Groping Incident: During the U.S.J. Attack, Mineta’s inappropriate behavior reached a peak when he groped Tsuyu. This disrespectful move upset many fans and intensified their dislike for him.
(iv) Creepiness with Momo: Mineta’s tasteless behavior extends to Momo as well. His use of his sticky grape Quirk for a piggyback ride on her was both weird and uncomfortable. The fact that he didn’t seem to learn from these situations further fueled fans’ frustration.
6. YUNO
(I) Lack of Personal Screentime and Character Development:
In the manga, Yuno’s character development is somewhat delayed, with significant focus on him occurring around 300 chapters in.
While it’s been stated that he trains hard and achieves much, the audience rarely witnesses this firsthand, except for filler episodes in the anime.
His sudden power-ups can indeed make him appear overly perfect and less relatable.
(ii) Relationships and Detachment:
Up until a certain point in the manga, Yuno’s significant relationships are primarily with Asta and Bell. Yuno’s introverted nature contributes to the perception of him being boring. While he cares about others, his interactions primarily revolve around Asta.
Fans notice that Yuno’s soul seems to exist only within the context of Asta.
(iii) Overpowered Status:
Yuno’s strength is intentional, serving as a foil and rival to Asta.
However, this can frustrate Asta fans who closely follow his self-improvement journey.
As Asta grows stronger and understands his abilities better, the gap between them narrows.
(Iv) The Spade Arc and Missed Opportunities:
The Spade Arc disappointed you due to unexplored emotional depth.
Yuno’s identity crisis, his royal lineage, and his mother’s survival were intriguing plot points.
Unfortunately, these aspects remained largely unaddressed, leaving fans wanting more.

Unveiling Secrets
➥ summary: Class 1A discovers something new about their class president
➥ Tenya Iida x Reader
➥ one shot
Tumblr media
Within the bustling halls of U.A. High School, Class 1-A buzzed with activity, a vibrant group of young heroes-in-training. Among them, Tenya Iida stood as a beacon of discipline and focus, always the embodiment of a model student. Yet, unknown to his classmates, his heart held a secret—an unspoken connection that would soon come to light.
The morning sun cast its golden glow through the classroom windows as Class 1-A settled into their seats, eagerly awaiting the start of another day of training and learning. As the room hummed with anticipation, the door swung open, and a figure stepped inside.
All eyes turned towards the newcomer, surprise etched upon their faces. It was (Y/N), a second-year student, her presence adding an air of intrigue to the room. Tenya, taken aback by her sudden arrival, couldn't help but feel a mix of nervousness and excitement.
Ochaco Uraraka, her eyes wide with curiosity, spoke up first. "Since when did you have a girlfriend, Iida?"
Tenya's cheeks flushed with a hint of embarrassment, but he held his composure, his voice steady. "Actually, (Y/N) is my fiancée."
Gasps filled the room as Tenya's revelation sank in. The concept of an arranged marriage within their class seemed almost surreal, yet the truth of their connection began to take shape. The air crackled with a mix of shock, excitement, and a touch of envy.
Izuku Midoriya, his eyes shining with admiration, couldn't help but ask, "How did you meet, Iida? And how did your relationship come to be?"
Tenya smiled warmly, his gaze shifting towards (Y/N). "We were paired together since we were children, destined to be married to strengthen the bond between our families. But as we grew older, our feelings blossomed into something deeper. We realized that our connection went beyond duty and tradition. We fell in love."
Momo Yaoyorozu, her voice filled with awe, couldn't hide her fascination. "That's incredible, Iida. To have a love that's both rooted in tradition and genuine affection—it's truly something special."
(Y/N) stepped forward, her presence commanding attention. "Our relationship has been a journey of growth and understanding. We've learned to navigate the expectations placed upon us while honoring our individual desires and aspirations. Together, we support and encourage each other to become the best versions of ourselves."
As the realization settled upon the class, they exchanged glances filled with newfound respect. The concept of love, rooted in tradition yet blossoming with genuine emotion, was a testament to the complexities of the heart. Tenya and (Y/N) showcased a deep understanding and commitment, proving that love could evolve beyond initial circumstances.
Eijiro Kirishima, his voice filled with admiration, spoke up. "Iida, you've always been a model of discipline and focus. It's inspiring to see that even within the constraints of an arranged marriage, you've found a love that's true to your own hearts."
Tenya nodded, gratitude shining in his eyes. "Thank you, Kirishima. Our relationship has taught me the importance of staying true to myself while embracing the responsibilities that come with my family's traditions. It's a delicate balance, but (Y/N) has been my rock throughout it all."
The class, their initial shock giving way to understanding and acceptance, shared a collective moment of reflection. They realized that love could take many forms, and Tenya and (Y/N)'s connection was a testament to the depth of emotions that could develop even under the weight of expectations.
As the day progressed, the students of Class 1-A forged a newfound bond of respect for Tenya and (Y/N). They understood that love could be a powerful force, capable of transcending societal norms and traditions. It was a reminder that their own journey of self-discovery included not only becoming heroes but also nurturing the relationships that held importance in their lives.
And so, within the walls of U.A. High School, Class 1-A continued their journey, their hearts enriched by the understanding that love was a vast tapestry of emotions, intertwining duty and genuine affection. As they honed their powers and skills, they also learned the importance of nurturing the bonds that connected them, cherishing the complexity and beauty of love in all its forms.
And in the heart of it all, Tenya and (Y/N) stood as a beacon of hope, demonstrating that even within the constraints of an arranged marriage, love could flourish and ignite the brightest flames in their hearts.
•••
Time had flown swiftly, carrying Class 1-A into their second year at U.A. High School. The vibrant group of aspiring heroes had grown both individually and as a team, their bonds strengthening with each passing day. Amidst this bustling atmosphere, (Y/N) had become a third-year student, poised to embark on her own journey of growth and discovery.
On a bright and bustling day, (Y/N) found herself standing before the classroom where Tenya and his classmates convened. A smile played upon her lips as she clutched a carefully prepared bento, a tangible representation of her enduring love and support for Tenya.
As (Y/N) entered the room, the class turned their attention toward her, their curiosity piqued by her arrival. Tenya, his gaze meeting hers, felt a rush of warmth spread through his chest.
Ochaco Uraraka, her eyes wide with anticipation, couldn't help but blurt out, "Hey, (Y/N)! It's been a while. What brings you here today?"
(Y/N)'s smile widened as she held up the bento box. "I made this for Tenya. It's a small gesture to show my support and love."
Tenya's eyes sparkled with a mix of surprise and gratitude. "Thank you, (Y/N). I appreciate your thoughtfulness."
As Tenya accepted the bento, the class watched with a mix of awe and curiosity. Their intrigue had grown since learning about Tenya and (Y/N)'s arranged marriage, and witnessing the continuation of their traditions was both fascinating and heartwarming.
Mina Ashido, her voice filled with excitement, couldn't contain her curiosity any longer. "Tell us, (Y/N), what's it like being in an arranged marriage? How do you navigate the balance between tradition and your own desires?"
(Y/N) took a moment to gather her thoughts, her eyes filled with a mix of nostalgia and determination. "It's a journey of self-discovery, Mina. Our arranged marriage has been both a challenge and a gift. We've learned to find our own voices within the framework of our families' expectations. It's about cherishing tradition while staying true to ourselves."
Izuku Midoriya, his eyes filled with admiration, spoke up. "It sounds like you both have grown so much. Your love is inspiring, (Y/N)."
(Y/N) nodded, her voice gentle yet resolute. "Love is an ever-evolving journey, Izuku. We're constantly learning, adjusting, and supporting each other through it all. Our shared values and commitment to one another keep us grounded."
As the conversation continued, Class 1-A listened with rapt attention, captivated by (Y/N)'s insights into their unique relationship. They realized that love had no set path, and its manifestations were as diverse as the individuals experiencing it.
Shoto Todoroki, his gaze thoughtful, interjected, "Do you ever feel constrained by the expectations placed upon you, (Y/N)?"
(Y/N) met Shoto's gaze, her voice tinged with honesty. "At times, it can be challenging, Shoto. There are moments when the weight of tradition feels heavy. But love is about growth, and our relationship has allowed us to redefine our roles, navigate the complexities, and carve our own path within the arrangement."
Momo Yaoyorozu, her voice filled with admiration, spoke softly. "You both truly embody the spirit of heroes, embracing challenges head-on while remaining true to yourselves."
(Y/N) smiled, her heart warmed by their words. "Thank you, Momo. We strive to be the best versions of ourselves, not just for each other but for the world we wish to protect."
As the classroom settled into a comfortable silence, (Y/N) took her leave, bidding farewell to the class and leaving Tenya with the bento. She left behind a sense of awe and inspiration, her visit a reminder that love could transcend societal expectations and empower individuals to create their own narratives.
Tenya, holding the bento close to his heart, gazed at the doorway, contemplating the love and support he had found in (Y/N). Their bond, forged through tradition and nurtured by their own commitment, had shaped their journey in unexpected and beautiful ways.
Class 1-A, now even more aware of the depth of Tenya and (Y/N)'s love, exchanged glances filled with newfound respect and understanding. They had witnessed firsthand the power of tradition, the beauty of love, and the unbreakable spirit of their classmate.
And as they continued their second year at U.A. High School, the students of Class 1-A carried within them the lessons of (Y/N)'s visit—cherishing tradition while forging their own paths, embracing love in all its forms, and allowing their relationships to shape their journeys as aspiring heroes.
For within the halls of U.A. High School, the heroes of tomorrow learned that strength lay not only in their quirks but also in the love and support they offered one another. With (Y/N) as an emblem of the enduring power of love, Class 1-A embarked on their path, united by bonds that surpassed expectations and embraced the beauty of shared traditions and new beginnings.
•••
Time had flown swiftly, carrying Class 1-A into their third and final year at U.A. High School. The once-inexperienced heroes had evolved into formidable individuals, their dreams and aspirations within reach. Amidst this season of growth and transition, Tenya and (Y/N) prepared for a momentous occasion—their upcoming wedding.
In the common room of the dorms, a table was adorned with wedding magazines, fabric swatches, and carefully crafted invitations. Tenya and (Y/N) sat side by side, their eyes sparkling with excitement and anticipation. They were lost in a world of plans and possibilities, weaving their dreams into reality.
As they pored over the details of their special day, the door swung open, and the members of Class 1-A filed into the room. Surprise filled their eyes as they took in the scene before them—a tableau of love, dedication, and commitment.
Izuku Midoriya, his voice filled with awe, was the first to speak. "Tenya, (Y/N), I didn't realize you were planning your wedding already. Congratulations!"
Tenya's cheeks flushed with a mixture of excitement and slight embarrassment. "Thank you, Midoriya. We've been making preparations over the past few months, taking the time to ensure every detail reflects our shared vision."
Mina Ashido, her eyes wide with anticipation, couldn't contain her enthusiasm. "Can we help? We'd love to be a part of your special day!"
(Y/N) beamed, her heart touched by the support from their friends. "That would mean the world to us, Mina. We'd be grateful for any assistance you can offer."
As the class gathered around the table, the room filled with excitement and the scent of love in the air. The students eagerly poured over magazines, discussing ideas and sharing their own suggestions.
Ochaco Uraraka, her voice filled with enthusiasm, held up a fabric swatch. "What about this color for the bridesmaid dresses? It would complement the theme so well!"
Tenya and (Y/N) exchanged glances, their hearts swelling with gratitude. Their friends' involvement in their special day only deepened their appreciation for the bonds they had formed at U.A. High School.
Eijiro Kirishima, his voice filled with determination, chimed in, "We'll make sure your wedding day is as memorable as possible, Iida. We're a team, after all!"
Tenya's voice carried a mix of gratitude and sincerity. "Thank you, Kirishima. Your unwavering support means the world to us. Our wedding day will be a testament to the bonds we've formed at U.A."
As the planning continued, the students of Class 1-A took on various tasks, each contributing their own unique talents. Momo Yaoyorozu lent her keen eye for design, crafting elegant decorations, while Katsuki Bakugo tackled the task of organizing the explosive wedding fireworks.
Days turned into weeks, and the wedding day drew closer. The dorms became a flurry of activity as Class 1-A dedicated themselves to ensuring every detail was perfect.
On the day of the wedding, the air buzzed with anticipation and joy. The U.A. High School campus was adorned with flowers, and the chapel stood as a symbol of love and unity. Class 1-A stood proudly as witnesses and supporters, their hearts filled with love for their dear friends.
As the ceremony commenced, (Y/N) walked down the aisle, her radiant smile capturing Tenya's heart once more. Tenya stood at the altar, his eyes fixed on (Y/N) as she made her way towards him. Their love shone brightly, a beacon of hope and devotion.
The vows they exchanged were heartfelt and sincere, evoking tears of joy from the gathered friends and family. The couple sealed their union with a kiss, their love celebrated by the cheers and applause of those around them.
As the reception unfolded, the students of Class 1-A reveled in the joyous atmosphere. They danced, laughed, and shared heartfelt moments with one another. The bond they had forged over the years had only grown stronger, and the celebration of Tenya and (Y/N)'s love served as a reminder of the power of friendship and unwavering support.
Amidst the festivities, Tenya and (Y/N) took a moment to steal away, finding solace in each other's arms. They looked out at their friends, their family, and their journey at U.A. High School, overwhelmed with gratitude for the love that surrounded them.
Tenya's voice held a mix of emotion as he whispered, "Thank you, (Y/N). Our love has overcome challenges and surpassed expectations. I am forever grateful for your unwavering support."
(Y/N) smiled, her gaze filled with love and tenderness. "And I, Tenya, am forever grateful for your dedication and the love we share. Our journey has been a testament to the power of love and the strength of our bond."
And so, within the halls of U.A. High School, a love story unfolded, entwined with friendship and support. Class 1-A celebrated the eternal bond between Tenya and (Y/N), a testament to the enduring power of love and the beauty of shared dreams.
As they danced the night away, the students of Class 1-A reveled in the joy of their friends' happiness, knowing that love, unity, and the bonds they had forged at U.A. would forever shape their lives as heroes.

Thinking about Hiyori again and how much more her character could've been explored and developed. For example, how did she survive those 20 years without anyone ever recognizing her seeing as she's the very image of her mother, and if some did recognize her, did they ever try to talk to her? were they on Oden's side? Were they killed by Danjiro by trying to give away who she is?
Another point is the men she robbed. Why those men? Did they do something to her specifically? Were they avid supporters of Orochi? Why those men in particular did she robber and what did she do with the money? Was it given to poorer areas of Wano or perhaps she endorsed the witching hour boy (danjiro) in his exploits?
And what about her relationship to Momo? Their reunion was so very rushed and it doesn't make sense to me that she'd want to keep away from Momo at first by fear that she would get in the way when she's the one who's been fighting the longest, albeit in her own way. And what were the thoughts on her head to see her brother still as a child? How shocking was it to see how suddenly he aged those 20 years in the blink of an eye? How will their relationship change after everything she's gone through, all the growth she's done over the years while Momo remained the same 8 years old child she probably didn't even remember very well?
And talking about Momo, was there ever resentment that he was sent to the future and didn't have to live through 20 years of Kaido while she was left behind? Was it their mother's choice to leave her behind or was it by chance? Did she ever resent her mother for it?
And how could there be no resentment at all when she had no qualms about giving her sword away to Zoro? Even if it was to get Shusui back, even if it was because Zoro saved her or she recognized him as powerful and a good person, it's not normal to give away the only thing she had left of her father that still connected her to him, and was, undoubtedly, a treasure of wano.

Jesus fucking Christ, Izuku & Momo vs Midnight would have been 10000× better than Izuku & Bakugou vs All Might.
First off, like you said, it would have better developed Izuku's interpersonal relationships with his classmates by having him work with someone outside his group of friends. 2nd, Momo is stated to see Izuku as a kindred spirit due to his low self-esteem (at least in the Smash comic), so developing their friendship would feel more organic. Three, think of the genius. Four, it would have better developed Midnight's relationship with the students - Momo in particular.
Instead, we get the royally idiotic decision to pair a bully and his victim together against a man who nearly paralyzes his protoge (still love All Might though), and said bully outright saying he would rather fail than work with his victim. And you know for a damn fact that Aizawa refused to acknowledge how horribly his little plan wound up backfiring after the fact, because all it did was make things WORSE between Bakugou and Izuku
Hi @nutzgunray-lvt 👋,
All of this is why Momo and Izuku vs Midnight would have worked 100x better than what we got.
Momo and Izuku being friends due to understanding each others issues could have worked so so well. Especially in a situation like this where Izuku's tactical intelligence and Momo's academic intelligence combines to make a deadly duo. That moment in Smash where Momo realises how alike Izuku is to her is very sweet - therefore it's a shame that Hori literally does nothing with this.
Additionally, it would have added so much impact to Midnight's death later on if we had got a chance to see her teach and properly bond with the students (especially Momo who she is meant to be close with.) Plus this move would have made Midnight feel more of a 3D character in her own right rather than a prop for Aizawa / 'Miss Sexy Bondage teacher.'
Now with the canon fights, like you mentioned, Bakugou and Izuku vs All Might in canon was a mess. As much as I like All Might he went too hard against them (he nearly broke Izuku's back!) there plus what was Izuku meant to learn in that fight? That whole mess was for Bakugou's benefit only and I remain mad about it.
Then Aizawa vs Momo and Shoto. The fact that Aizawa only doing something about Momo's self confidence issues NOW, when she is a student proud of her grades and at the top of her class on top, is just cruel... Most people perform worse under pressure not thrive and grow like she did.
Finally, Midnight vs Mineta and Sero. I'm not mad at it, the good thing that came from that fight in canon was showing Mineta's growth past being a coward. And while thats good it was too little too late in the story to save him from many fans seeing him as a one-note perv because that's what Hori has made him for too long. I do wish Sero had more of a chance to shine but I feel like he shouldn't have failed here since he did save his partner (which is more than what Bakugou did.)

I think the thing that people are overlooking is that. Momo was written as in love with her best friend Mirena, who died as a consequence of the war… and Fine was in love with HER best friend Aria, who DIED AS A CONSEQUENCE OF THE WAR. This is the parallel the show is trying to draw between Fine and Momo - not that they’re in love with each other, but that they’re both lesbians who have lost the person they love the most and they have managed to find comfort in each others company and friendship.
The way they portrayed the relationship of an older lesbian & a young lesbian comes off as so truthful and respectful of reality. The mentorship, the safety, the protection - vampire in the garden is a love story, but it’s not about romance at all, it’s about acceptance, it’s about growth, it’s about finding your people, your family, in the middle of the chaos of war and hatred and people who don’t understand you.

Dandadan and its Ability to go Outside the Standard Shonen Battle Manga Tropes:
I love Dandadan for many reasons: insanely good artwork, wild situations, beautifully choreographed fight scenes, its ability to drop my jaw in some way every chapter.
But something that set it apart from most shonen battle manga is how it adds characters to its roster, and how it develops relationships between its characters through the use of Harem tropes.
After Aira's initial introduction into the manga, we see the first use of "comical misunderstanding" or "unlucky timing", where Momo sees Okarun on top of Aira outside the school. In most harem settings, this would be used to set up a love triangle, and keep the main pairing away from actually developing romance. But Dandadan instead uses it as a springboard into another action filled arc: the Serpo Arc that happens in their school. More supernatural hijinks ensue, and so many wild and crazy "even in context this is insane" situations occur that wouldn't be outside of a wild Harem manga situation. But what makes Dandadans use of these tropes different is how it subverts them: By the conclusion of the arc, Momo asks for an explanation of the initial situation that kicked off the arc, and Okarun speaks honestly: He was trying to train to become stronger for her. And Aira herself, instead of sticking to her popular girl schtick of talking smack about Momo, admits to an entire group of classmates that *she* was the one who made up the lies about Momo. Dandadan subverts the harem tropes and uses it to develop their characters relationships.
At the end of the Serpo arc we meet Jiji, Momos childhood friend and "first love". The tone of everything in Jijis debut makes the audience assume that this will AGAIN be the introduction of a love triangle that stunts the growth of the main pairing. Except this time it will be Okarun and Jiji fighting over Momo. But the well already begins to be poisoned in the next chapter: Jiji is a huge goofball. Its not out of the well of possibility that a love triangle might happen, but it subverts tone and establishes Jijis personality. The next few chapters continually set up the potential triangle, and starts up the events of the Cursed House arc. We see Okarun clearly uncomfortable with Jiji and Momos relationship, and is rapidly falling for Momo. But during the bus ride to the Cursed house, we see Okarun and Jiji begin to become friends. And their interactions together when Momo leaves to relax at a hot spring deepen their friendship, and everything culminates upon the fight between Okarun and Jijis transformation: the Evil Eye. Okarun is not only enraged that Evil Eye for hurting Momo, but for taking Jiji away from them.
"give him back! Give me back my dear friend!"
And then Okarun proceeds to double-fisted uppercut the Evil Eye 20 times into submission, capping off one of the best fight scenes in manga. But all of that was just to subvert the love triangle, at least initially. After the arc, Jiji is a part of the group, and Aira comes back to help with dealing with ANOTHER harem trope: multiple personalities that trigger from hot/cold water, a classic trope started by Ranma 1/2. Specifically, the Evil Eye that is inside Jiji. This entire arc serves to deepen character relationships, and drive character development. But while it simmers the love triangle, its never diminished: Okarun still feels nervous that his friend will overtake him as Momos male love interest. But as always, it serves to deepen the relationship between Momo and Okarun instead of stunting it. It always struck me how relatable all of this was. Throughout all of these wild and crazy "it could only happen in a manga" situations, the solid foundation of character relationships always shines through as a driving factor to the manga. These teenagers actually act like teenagers, they interact as teenagers. And its the main reason I'm still so attached to these characters.

NORITOSHI WHO.. PT2 yay!
Noritoshi who is full of ‘whys’ and ‘hows’ in his head every single time. He is just a confused and curious guy.
Noritoshi who always wanted to have a new haircut but thinks too much of what his Kyoto mates will say of him. especially Momo and Mai who always throw glances at him and whispering.
Noritoshi who constantly judging Todo in his mind. He looked up Takada (or whatever her name is) and thought that Todo would have no chance with her and his obsession is a waste of time. But he didn’t say it out loud.
Noritoshi who has a subtle dimple on his left cheek when he smiles which he rarely does around people. (This is so random)
Noritoshi who would have a hard time understanding puns and silly quizzes but sees it as something serious — so he would work his brain out thinking about the answer.
“what can we never eat for breakfast”
“…” *thinks for the whole day and refuses to know the answer*
Noritoshi who is seen as the older brother amongst the Kyoto team, and is the most responsible and trusted by Utahime to look after the others especially in a mission. He cares about them but didn’t show it. Even though his judgements are harsh but he never noticed it. ( Mai’s the main victim )
Noritoshi who stresses over Todo recklessness in his decisions, harsh language and loud personality. Despite that, whenever Todo isn’t around for more than a week, he would start to feel his surroundings becoming more quiet than it used to. But if Todo isn’t around for a few days, he would feel glad lol.
Noritoshi who believes in Miwa’s improvement and growth as a sorcerer. He observes Miwa’s practice a few times and thinks that she has a potential. Again, he never say it out loud.
(Spoiler? if ykyk) Noritoshi who grief over one of his Kyoto team members. He felt like he failed as someone who is trusted to guide his team.
Noritoshi who isolate himself whenever he’s sick and thought ‘it will go away’. When Utahime notices Noritoshi isn’t seen outside the school ground, she knows what is up. He would get lectured by Utahime for not taking care of his own health.
(Culling game arc?) Noritoshi who has this habit of moving his hair strands behind his ears and would still do it despite having his hair cut. When he realised, he laughs to himself.
maybe i’ll do another parts? that depends (^ν^)
