Questions:

1. What do you have for breakfast in the morning?

I usually have an egg, sometimes with bread, and some 粥/zhou (I don’t know an english food equivalent to it but it’s like a soup with rice, beans, sweet potatoes, and peanuts). I don’t really eat fruit, yogurt, or cereal in the morning.

2. When you’re sad, what’s one thing you do that always makes you feel better?

I like to watch videos on Youtube or a movie or read something. Typically, I’ll watch something funny or interesting on Youtube as a distraction. I don’t really talk to my friends when I’m sad because I don’t want them to be involved.

3. What is your happy place?

My room because it’s comfortable and private, school because I have some really amazing and funny friends, and yeah.

4. Where did your passion for what you’re studying come from?

I don’t know what I want to study since I’m still in grade 9. I mean, I really like chemistry, biology, history, and business. My passions for those classes are because a) they’re interesting, b) some of their concepts are like really mind-blowing?? if that’s a thing or like out of this world?? idk, and c) I really like the teachers b/c they seem to really have a passion for the course.

5. As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

My memory of my childhood is pretty bad but I think my careers always circled around a doctor, astronaut, science-y or math-y type of career. I’m Asian so you can guess why they were my career choices just kidding.

6. What are your study habits/patterns like?

My study habits and patterns are really, really, really bad. Like, you’d think I study at least somewhat but sometimes I don’t even study at all or do like minimal effort. I don’t have an exact study routine or plan and I often find that it’s hard for me to keep up with one (aka my previous exams plan). It’s really just sporadic. 

As for other habits, I 95% of the time listen to music (chill playlists on Soundcloud or kpop) and I mainly work at the desk in my room. There’s always water nearby, but not so much food.  

7. Who do you look up to?

Hmmm, this one is kind of hard? Like, I look up to different people at different times. I look up to my parents because they’re extremely hard working, to my smart, organized, and charismatic friends since they work 110% and they can communicate their ideas very well, and to people who are extremely passionate about something. 

8. When did you join tumblr? Have you been apart of any other blog styles/communities?

I originally joined the studyblr community in, I think, 2016? However, I never posted anything and just browsed for like inspiration. I created a new account (this one) at the end of March this year/2018. As for any other blogs/communities, not on tumblr but I have been part of the minecraft and art communities. All of which I am not a part of anymore. 

9. What do your parents do for work?

I’m not very comfortable revealing too much information, but one of them is a business partner and the other works for the city.

10. What is one thing that you wish you were really good at?

There’s lots of things that I wish that I was good at because I’m not good at very much, but if there was one thing then I would boil it down to being a charismatic and organized leader. Like, I’m not really shy but it still is tough when presenting or leading something. I want to go into business too so I really need to improve on this.

11. Top 3 things on your bucket list?

#1: travel to countries in Europe (Greece, Italy (due to mythology), Germany, and the Netherlands) and Asia (S.Korea, Japan, and somewhere in South Eastern Asia).

#2: similar to the first one but to go traveling with friends!! 

#3: a more realistic and short-term one but to get a job!

08.09.17 feat. cutie minghao again: so i changed bullet journals and i think i'm gonna stick with this one for a while. this is the kokuyo a5 soft ring notebook and i really like it so far. i didn't like my last bullet journal very much (i picked it up from daiso idk the actual name). the quality of the paper wasn't very good and i don't like writing in grids unless its for math lol.

Hi everyone, I’ve quite recently joined the studyblr community and wanted to make an introductory post just so you can all get to know me!

Reason I think this is quite similar to everyone else in that I simply find it difficult to sit down and start studying, and being a visual learner, and with my AS exams coming up veeeeeery soon (eek) I thought it would be a good idea to start a studyblr just to see content from other students and push myself that little bit harder!

About Me My name is Beth (as you might have been able to tell) I’m seventeen years old and I’ve lived in Ireland all my life. I’m currently in year 13 which means I’m doing my first year of A-levels and have 1 year left of school after that! (yippee!!!) I spend a lot of time watching old films, reading my horoscope and drinking literally any hot drink I can get my hands on!

Subjects I study English Literature, Geography and Religion for A-level and for GCSE I did these and additionally, Maths, Science, Business, Spanish, French and photography! Although my knowledge may be limited and I am in no way an expert in these fields I would be happy to help/give any tips/resources to anyone where I can!
