Functional iPad and Keyboard for The Sims 2

This was very challenging but finally I did it! 4to2 conversion from DddaengSims.

This is a tablet with keyboard but I left the cd-rom tray because I don't know how to remove the animation (mouse is still there too but invisible), so in this way you can see actually something happens when sims start to play.

It has all the screens (off, logo, desktop, chat, email, job).

The only flaw is that when you need to repair it, sim will turn around everything except the keyboard and tablet will go far from the sim position. However it will turn as usual when reparation is over.

You will need the mesh for the other recolors to work so make sure to put the mesh file in your download folder.

**NEW** : Added a version with Monique Hacked Computer Menus. You will need the original files installed in your download folder for it to work so download everything HERE. This version doesn't have my screens so it will show default (or replacement, if you have it) screens. Choose only the standard or monique version please.

The Spectre Returns

Summary: The Spectre continues to be the scourge of the art community. You continue your relationship with Billy.

 Written for:  @the-slumberparty​ Week Two: Blast from the Past

 Words: 1568

 Prompt: Write a part of a fic as a sort of one off/what if scenario

 Pairing: Billy Russo x Female Reader  

 Warnings: Use of pet names, maybe an Easter Egg or two

 A/N: I had a lot of fun with Heart Heist so I decided to do a part two

 It had been weeks since the night of your failed heist. You had been seeing a lot of Billy lately and so far had kept your promise to stay away from anything protected by Anvil Security. The party had been a huge success for the company as there had been no sign the Spectre had even been there. The only ones who knew the truth were you and Billy and so far, it had been a lot of fun dancing around this unspoken elephant in the room. You knew there was only so far you could keep your word before you would go on another heist and get in his way.

…

 For a while, you laid low, giving the public the impression that the Spectre had vanished. It would give the rich and arrogant some time to drop their guards and making it easier to swoop in and pilfer their already stolen artefacts right out from under their noses.

 Recently, you had been invited to attend the opening of a Mayan exhibition displayed at a small-time museum. You had heard some rumours about some questionable items on show and decided you needed to check this out. Unfortunately, the security the museum hired to be Anvil.

 You were busy looking around at the various items on display, everything from clay pot to jade jewellery when you walked into the next room, you saw the star attraction. A large stone stela depicting an ancient Mayan warrior locked in a fierce battle with some kind of jaguar or panther.

 “Fascinating piece, isn’t it?”

 You turned to see a man standing behind you. He was a little bit older but still handsome in his own way.

 “I’m Joaquin de Rojas. I’m a professor at a museum down at the Yucatan Peninsula down in Mexico.”

 You smiled and introduced yourself and soon were engaged with a conversation with the professor. He was accompanying the pieces borrowed from the museum he was from but he had doubts on how this museum acquired the stela. He had doubts on its true ownership. As you were talking, a woman with strawberry blonde hair approached you.

 “Isn’t it marvellous? I had a big hand in helping in the acquisition. I’m Joanne Monique,” she preened as she introduced herself.

 You tensed up. During your time in the smuggling world, you had heard the name mentioned many times. She was an art dealer who achieved her purchases often in questionable ways. Your people in the smuggling racket had warned you how dangerous she was. You smiled and did your best to make polite conversation with her and by the look on Professor de Rojas’ face, he was just as suspicious of the woman as you were. Fortunately, Billy chose the right moment to rescue you from the conversation as Joanne’s questions began to turn to your father’s art needs.

 “Planning one of your heists?” he asked, pulling you closer.

 To anyone else, the surface looked just like a couple embracing. To the pair of you, it was another part of your cat and mouse game.

 “It might be a little hard to slip that stone piece under my cloak,” you smirked.

 Billy chuckled and kissed your head.

 “I thought we agreed you wouldn’t hit places with Anvil security…”

 “Think about it, darling. If I avoided all places where you’re in charge of security, people will start making speculations… They might think you have something to do with the Spectre… or that maybe you’re him…”

 “You have a point…”

 You could see the gears turning in his head before he sighed, coming to whatever conclusion he came to.

 “You understand, I can’t make things easy for you. That would look just as bad for me,” he warned.

 “Of course. Wouldn’t have it any other way, babe,” you purred, pulling him in for a soft kiss.

…

 Just like you had done on other occasions before, you slipped into the museum silently. The room with the priceless artefacts would be heavily guarded but those weren’t your main concern. Given your conversation with the professor, you knew that all the pieces on loan from the museum in Mexico were here legitimately albeit temporarily. Your main concern was the stela. Now, there was no way in hell you were getting that big slab of stone out of there. For starters, no human being without super strength would be able to lift it on their own. Secondly, even if you did have some sort of device to lift it, there’s no way you could get it out unnoticed, given the sheer size of it. And if it got damaged in the process? Forget about it. No, your goal was to steal the provenance documents for the stela.

 The museum office had nowhere near the level of security the rest of the place had which made getting in there a breeze. All you had to do was pick the lock and you were in, taking care to shut the door behind you so as not to provoke suspicion. You searched through the filing cabinets until you found the one you were looking for. Using a small light, you read through the documents. The records went as far back as to when it was first discovered in 1939. There were also documents from 1962, 1988 and 2004. As the documents started getting closer to the modern age, something struck you as odd but you weren’t an expert. If you wanted proof, you were going to need help.

 The next day, you paid a visit to Billy in his office.

 “This is a pleasant surprise,” he smiled as you greeted him with a kiss.

 “I must confess, I have a reason for coming… other than stealing a kiss or two…”

 “Hm… Stealing artefacts, hearts and now kisses?” he playfully teased.

 You grinned as you pulled out a folder containing the documents.

 “I need your help,” you stated, giving him the folder.

 “What exactly do you need my help with?” Billy asked, looking through the papers.

 “I need someone to look for inconsistencies. Something isn’t adding up with these dates but I’m not a professional. I can’t find the odd one out…”

 “And where do I come in?”

 “I thought maybe you could help me find someone. If I go around snooping, people are bound to start asking questions. If you do it, you could say you’re doing some due diligence or something like that. I know it’s a lot to ask but I don’t have anyone to look into this kind of thing. I’ve got plenty of smuggling guys but no loophole guys…”

 “Until now?”

 “Until now. Exactly…”

 Billy raised an eyebrow, posing some unasked question.

 “Okay, so I’m working two different angles. One; the stela goes back to the Yucatan Peninsula where it belongs and two; I take out a potentially dangerous enemy. I’ve heard about this Monique person before. To her, this stuff is nothing but profit to be bought and sold. It’s very possible that she could interfere with my goal to get the artefacts back to where they belong, take them and forge documents to sell them off…”

 “I see you’ve given this a lot of thought,” Billy sighed, putting the file on his desk.

 “I have, Billy. I can’t do this without your help…”

 Billy walked over to you and pulled you close to his body.

 “I’ll do what I can but you owe me…”

 “Of course… shall we discuss the terms of our arrangement?” you smirked.

 “Sounds like a plan,” he purred, kissing you deeply.

…

 It took a few weeks to see the effects of your work. Billy called in a few favours and helped find those inconsistences you mentioned on the down low. As the Spectre, you made a rare set of circumstances in which you crept back to the scene of the crime and returned the documents to where they belonged. Fortunately, they hadn’t given those papers a second look since the stela first arrived. You called in an anonymous tip about your concerns of the provenance documents which were investigated. With this proof, Joanne Monique was arrested. The museum was sad about the loss of the stela but with your help, you organised a deal where the artefact would remain on display until the end of the exhibition and go back with Professor Joaquin de Rojas when it came time.

 This was one of your greatest feats as the Spectre, yet the world would never know it and you took a potential enemy in the process. You and Billy would continue your game of cat and mouse until either you got caught or something else happened. You both got a lot of entertainment out of your relationship and were both unwilling to lose. It was your secret agreement that nobody else would ever know about. You’d help each other where you could but only as long as it suited your individual needs.

1. What’s your favourite sims death? Cowplant! On my current uberhood Olive is growing her garden with her new pet Cowplant that also grants her to live forever (since she drinks their life essence)!

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? Maxis Match all the way, always and forever.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? I'm gonna be honest, I don't cheat but I don't like the Sims 2 fat body type, it doesn't represent a fat person imo. Any other sim game is better regarding this.

4. Do you use move objects? I do, but I'm more of a functional player, I want every animation and routing to be perfect, so I avoid using it every time.

5. Favorite mod? New Lifetime Wishes, ACR (gotta try this edit version!), Community Time Mod and Monique's Hacked Computer.

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? Here in Brazil, especially back in the day, you would find pirated Sims games more often than originals. It wasn't different for me! I got Sims 1 Pets because I was an animal lover gal 💖

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I don't like creating Sims on Sims 2 very much, but I love to create myself and set it as a random townie on my hoods. :)

9. Have you made a simself? When I used to play Sims 4 more often I used to, a lot! On Sims 2 I'd say I'm a very FaceType 01 or 02 girlie, no fun face very standard. I'm often said irl I do look like a Sim, which is funny to me (because I agree).

10. What sim traits do you give yourself? Creative, Cat Lover, Kleptomaniac (sorry I like to steal from big corporations), Loner and Eccentric.

11. Which is your favorite EA hair color? I love them all, but I'm a simp for black hair.

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? A lot, I've been playing this game since 2002, I believe. I try to stay out of downloading a bunch of things since it kinda makes the game laggy and me not likey laggey gamey.

24. How do you edit your pictures? Photoshop, but mostly I only use the reshaders in the game and am ok with how it looks.

yay, i've made another monique hacked... laptop, as suggested by multiple anons! this is again from ts4's discover university expansion pack: the mycomputer uog x19 athena, now converted to ts2! 🌟

once again it functions as a monique hacked computer and is just 176 polys. there are 6 swatches in total and you can find it under the electronics category for $4250. to match the original hacked computer it was cloned from i ended up just deleting the mouse, so animations might come off as a bit... wonky. however, to make up for that, i've made the keyboard glow in the dark using @pforestsims' tutorial!

Hello I made a another headcanons about @artzychic27 ‘s class + the Austins again but they are not sad this time and I even have a little surprise in the end. I hope you enjoy these headcanons and if you have suggestions or questions you want to ask I’ll be happy to hear them and answer them! Anyway on to the post!

Zoé gets a grunge aesthetic when she becomes friends with the class.

Denise and Jean are not a big fan of horror movies but they both try to watch them for their friends. Don’t worry the class recognizes their fears so they don’t watch horror movies that often for movie night.

Marc is really good at video games since he’s Marinette's cousin.

Lacey is a terrible singer and used it to annoy their friends when it comes to karaoke nights.

Reshma and Mireille are really good singers but are too scared to sing in public but in front of their friends they are fine with it.

Cosette is surprisingly a good singer but doesn’t sing that often and just sings to themselves when they're alone but when Zoé finds out, they start to sing little duets together.

Aurore took ballet as a kid and still dances to this day.

Austin T’s favorite dessert is mint chocolate brownies.

Denise’s and Simon's first date was going to Andre’s ice cream vendor where he was in an amusement park and they got the sweethearts ice cream.

Austin Q is very good at playing baseball but is a control freak when it comes to it.

Ismael’s favorite candy is Reese’s and anything that has a peanut butter flavor.

Austin A is the shortest of the Austins and has the shortest temper.

Both Marc and Zoé can’t cook so the class doesn't let them near the kitchen.

Austin B and Simon are terrible dancers. They have the case of having two left feet.

Austin B is a big comic nerd but doesn’t want to admit it.

Marc is a big goosebumps fan and loves the musical and the series.

When Jean and Austin T start dating, Jean always makes big romantic gestures for him and Austin T is a blushing flustered mess.

Cosette and Nath get along pretty well since they are both fans of cartoons. So they have bisexual friendship with each other.

Zoé is a bit overprotective of Cosette but Cosette doesn’t mind at all sometimes.

The class doesn't do game night often but when they do, Marc becomes very scary especially during monopoly.

Lacey brings her friends to rock climbing whenever she can and the class loves it.

Mireille loves wearing sweaters, especially sweater cardigans.

Reshma’s favorite movie is Bambi and Alice in wonderland.

Jean’s dad was a magician and taught some tricks to him and Jean became a fan of magic ever since.

Cosette’s favorite horror movies are body horror.

Aurore has a lot of stress balls to help her with stress and anxiety.
