How do people even get rejected by Astarion because I have no idea- in each playthrough I have now he's the first to ask my Dark Urge out 😭😭 even on good alignment and even having him constantly disapprove (still having good - very good - perfect relationship though depending on save)...

#for some reason everyone at the camp are always thirsting over my dark urge. in each save. in each fucking playthrough #and what pains me is that now I have astarion brainrot and can't romance anyone but just HIM because he's now everything to me #and he fucking wants it too. 😭😭 dying over it because I planned on having different romantic interests but I guess now I just can't #I can't reject him!! i haven't been liveblogging my dark urge playthrough(s) because i don't want to spoil anyone, but i've gotta say i'm so obsessed with the durge/astarion dynamic

#thrice i have romanced this man. god help me #though for what it's worth impulse's astarion romance isn't their canon anymore. [REDACTED] is their one and only <3 #but seriously their arcs are so parallel whatever path you take #some vague spoilers for their quests follow #embrace-the-durge/ascendant astarion is fucking insane. pushing each other deeper & deeper into violence and cruelty and continuing cycles #redemption durge/no-ritual astarion is both of them learning to be more than the monsters they were made. the most mentally ill bitches in #camp finding peace in each other's arms. i'm unwell ok #i'm only just starting my redemption durge run though so we'll see how it goes #personal ramblings #i am 100% recommending a dark urge playthrough to everyone btw #just go in with absolutely no assumptions or ideas about who they are/were #their backstory is *very* pre-defined and you start piecing it together later in the game #anything you make up will probably be contradicted. so just enjoy the ride!

Uhhhhhhhhh talking about Sweet Home season 2 brb

I managed to convince the family to watch Sweet Home with me since season 2 came out last December and honestly? It's kind of been a dud so far

Like season 1 FUCKED HARD and there's a reason I binged the whole lot in one night the first time round. But this??? Who the fuck are any of these new people and why should I care about them. Why should I care about Chief Ji or her daughter and weird friend, or the new priest that is so clearly just a shady grifter, or ANY of the soldiers except the one that brought the OG group to the shelter in the first place. Where is Ui-myeong and the rest of the monsters he set loose? You're telling me they wouldn't have followed the soldiers out to the hideaway and tried to make an effort to break in? The crazy scientist is the only guy holding my attention at the moment

The timeskip of almost an entire year without doing even a smidge of establishing setting up in the underground has really fucked it up I think. If there'd been even like a series of quick flashbacks to show some stuff like why Chief Ji and the military leader are at odds, what proper went down between Ji's husband and Eun-yu etc it would have helped massively. But as it stands it's just kind of a nothing burger. The bloody soldiers get more screentime than the actual OG survivors who managed to make it, why is that allowed???

Ey, finally got this pair on my seventh run through this game.

Really weird to not hear Jack's voice from Cal or the Killer but this a probably My best run, Oz had a really cute moment in the mirror house and They actually gain some self-confidence and became a parent to Cal's kid (kind of a follow up on the Fatherhood ending meaning Cal's kid looks like this to me) :

It's cute (The two bonded over Cute dog's pics) even if it follows the pattern with Cal between all three of these games that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover...While Cal is a cinnamon roll is definitely not innocent if you know what I mean and He can kill you in the second game even if it doesn't make sense how He was able to kill Oz or Zoe.

Roadtrip feels new while keeping the old stat system but feels way more important to check on other stats than compared to the first two games since you can game over very easily if you're like me and got game over on week 2 because I'm dumb and didn't pay attention to other states besides the one I was mainly after (Milo may or not may have saved two of my runs). so far I do like it, not sure if it's my fav yet and I prefer It over the camp as it feels like a step up from it also save states are nice.
