Content: [Implied] Monster whumpee, captivity.
Whumpees knew, without a doubt, that they could overpower Whumper. They had the physical strength. They just lacked the confidence. Every time they considered it, the horrors in their mind of what could happen sent them fleeing into submission once more, and it saddened them to know that not one person cared enough to look beyond the outer layer of them. Didn't care to understand why it was so hard. All they saw was a coward.

Hello! I'm Quiet and have been shadowing the whump scene for some time now, so I figure I'd try my hand at it! I'm a big fan of fantasy setting whump but I noticed a SURPRISING lack of it, and I intend to fix that >:) Especially right now as interested as I am in dnd, ha.
"Quiet whispering" will be my tag for original posts methinks. I'll tag all the stuff I like if you want to send writing requests about any of that.

Hi. Since my whump account is gone this is basically both my after dark blog and my whump blog now.
Anyway, got some swamp monster whumper prompts and imagines below the cut. And no. They definitely aren’t with Monty Gator in mind 👀. Don’t be silly!
Mostly pet whump.
Swamp Monster finding you, his new human pet:
- Imagine being out in the swamps when you step into a bear trap. You’re hurt and alone. Then a friendly voice speaks out to you. Cooing you like a hurt little animal.
Even though he was the reason for the traps.
Originally he set them up to eat you when he didn’t feel like hunting himself. But you were just adorable!! Such a cute little human!
You heard someone get out of the water nearby and your eyes widened when a large alligator beast stepped out of it. He was huge! At least twice your size if not bigger!
He offers to help get it off and take you home to clean your injury. Not realizing that his home was now your forever home. He was never going to let you go. You were his pet now. When he got bored with you, he’ll just eat you.
- OR!! Straight up predator/prey. He hunts you down and laughs at your pathetic attempts to hide from him.
Perhaps he’ll let you loose and hunt you again. It’ll give you some exercise that simple walkies couldn’t do.
When he finally catches you, he wraps his big arms around you to pull you up into his grasp. Carrying you off like a stray puppy to his home. Cooing at you the whole way.
Life with Monster whumper:
- Collar time! Once your injury (if any) are taken care of, he places a nice collar tightly around your neck. Mentioning to get a tag once he decides on a name for you!
- He leashes you when outside the house for walks or to tie you up outside for a while. You were miles away from civilization so no one can hear you scream anyway. Still, that doesn’t stop him from warning you to stop barking. Or he’ll put a bark collar on you instead.
- Trains you and gives you little treats as a reward for doing tricks!
- Maybe he doesn’t speak your language so you have to learn his language. Even just a few words like sit, stay, beg, and go to your cage. He could have those pet buttons set up with other things like treat, food, walkies, and playtime!
- He treats you like a dog and plays fetch with you. Always ruffling your hair and telling you good girl/boy/dog.
- Maybe he has monster friends that come over to see his cute new pet! He tells them how he found you injured and took pity on you instead of just eating you up! “Watch them do the cutest tricks for me!”
Escape attempts:
- You try to escape but can never get away from his sharp hearing and enhanced senses. Of course he has to punish you for it.
- Sometimes he beats you, or he just puts you in your cage. Maybe even ties you outside and has you sleep on the patio.
- He is constantly dehumanizing you and trying to condition you to be his pet.
If I think of more and I’ll reblog the post.

I LOVE your monster x hero series! Maybe a pt. 5, if it isn't to much trouble? Would love to see villan fall under the monster's influence (villain being taken care of? Anyone?)
Hi Lilsoni3xx! I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Here is part 5 of Hero x Monster!
part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4
Hero ran into the city outskirts, not daring to look behind them. They ducked into a phone booth and dialed 911.
“911, what’s your emergency?” the dispatcher asked.
“There’s a monster after me, and it’s coming for the city,” Hero panted, “we need to take it down now before it hurts someone.”
“Slow down now, what’s your name?”
“Hero.”
“Hero!?”
“Yes, I need a SWAT team to my location stat, I’m at the city outskirts near the woods.”
“I’m sending them over now,” the dispatcher said, “where have you been? The whole city’s been looking for you.”
“In a cave outside the city,” Hero said, looking over their shoulder, “how long until the SWAT team arrives?”
“They’re en route now,” the dispatcher replied, “they should be there in about three minutes.”
Hero didn’t have that long. They heard the sound of metal being uprooted and shrieked as the monster cast the roof of the phone booth aside.
“You can’t hide from me, little one,” the monster rumbled, “and your friends can’t help you.”
The monster lifted its tendrils to reveal Villain entangled in them, thrashing and struggling to get free.
“Let them go!” Hero cried.
“Are you going to come home if I do?” the monster asked.
“Don’t answer that, Hero!” Villain shouted, “I’ll be fine!”
Hero watched as Villain released a shockwave that rippled through theirs and the monster’s bodies. The monster shrieked and dropped Villain. Villain scrambled to their feet and ran to Hero. Hero looked Villain up and down for any injuries.
“Are you alright?” Hero asked.
“I just used the last of my electricity reserves to get free, it’ll be a few minutes before I’m charged again” Villain said, panting, “…and I think I short-circuited my earbuds.”
“What a shame,” the monster rumbled, causing Hero to jump.
Sirens wailed in the distance, getting closer and louder. The monster noticed this and looked down at the pair before them.
“Villain,” the monster drawled in a hypnotic voice.
Villain’s gaze grew vacant as they looked up at the monster.
“Keep Hero safe,” the monster sang, and it bounded toward the SWAT team approaching.
Hero was about to run after the monster when Villain grabbed their arm, their grip like iron. Hero turned to Villain, who was expressionless.
“Villain,” Hero said, “let me go.”
Villain shook their head and pulled Hero in closer.
“This will only hurt for a second,” Villain said in a monotone voice.
Villain let a trickle of electricity spark from their hand and touched Hero. Hero cried out as the weak bolt surged through them. Hero fell into Villain’s arms, unable to move. Their limbs were twitching slightly as Villain lifted them in a bridal carry and started to head back to the forest.

Hi hello here’s a new one
Warnings: Royal whumpee, shapeshifter whumper, broken bones, mentions of death, fantasy whump
—————————————————————————————
The young Prince ran dawn the long twisting hallways desperately trying to find an escape the foul castle. A Tremour shook walls causing the the Prince to stumble to the ground,
The monster, it's noticed him.
Pushing himself back up he continued his frantic search for
an exit. Taking a sharp turn the Prince cracked his face against a sudden wall, clutching his now bleeding head the Prince turned to go back the way he came finding a new wall. The world was closing in leaving the Prince with no chance of escape except for… the window..
Rather than taking his chances with the monster the Prince threw himself out of the window, Crashing into the dark forest below.
The Princes leg shattered on impact, pain flared through his body causing him to Collapse. The Prince bit his lip as his scream echoed through the forest. The Prince's body shuttered with pained breaths as he laid on the cold mossy ground, vurnalble and open.
There was suddenly the sound of something very big landing, and a chill filled the forest.
Panicking, the Prince tried to push himself up forgetting about his leg which quickly made itself known again. There was the sound of something tearing, the prince gasped in pain as he turned to look back at his leg, there was something sharp poking out from the fabric of his trouser leg. Bone. The Prince gave a shuddering laugh, Fuck he’s never going to leave this place is he.
Then he heard the footsteps, but the didn’t sound like a beast they sounded almost…human? Taking a quick look behind himself again the Prince noticed a figure emerging from the shadows.
“Enjoying my forest, your highness?”
The voices spoke right in the Prince’s mind sending a shiver through his body. The figure smiled down at him but its mouth never moved.
“Hmm what’s this?” Purred the voices as shadows yanked the Prince up by his Borken leg, holding him upside down. The Prince screamed in agonizing pain as he felt the ligaments in his leg tearing from the weight of his body. Tears trickled down his face and into his hair.
“Such a silly prince, trying to flee. Now you wont be able to run again.” The shadow snapped dropping the Prince flat on his back, spots dancing in his eyes. The Prince’s chest heaved as a sob broke through his lips “Please, i-if you’re here t-to ki-kill me, jus-just do it. P-please”
“Kill you?”
A massive claw like paw appeared from the dark, pining the Prince down
“Do you want to die?”
Not wanting to see his death. The Prince squeezed his eyes shut, Turing his face away, as he felt the monsters maw rest inches from his face.
The paw pressed down harder, the Prince could feel his bones creak under the weight. The monsters snout nuzzled his neck as if determining wether to bite or not.
“No, you don’t. Now do you? I can feel it. You don’t want to die. What are we going to do about that?”
The wight lifted from the Princes chest, allowing him to heave pained breaths. Suddenly hundreds of hands shot out from the dark, grabbing the Prince to lift him high up into the air. Only to slam him back into the ground but the ground fell away dropping the Prince into the shadows. The Prince tried to scream, but it was as if his voice was sucked out of him, he could feel all his life draining away as his vision grew darker and darker until there was nothing left.

A whumper who is also the caretaker. I’m not talking care whumper but like a Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. The whumper hurts the whumpee and caretaker cleans up the mess. Whumpee begs and begs caretaker to help them. Help them escape. Caretaker can’t because they know what whumper would do when they find out.

Whumptember 2023, Day 21
“Take me with you”
Failed escape | Stumbling | Too weak to move
The Bee's Whumptember Masterlist
~1080 words
CW: (implied) inhuman whumper, knife to throat, brief passing out, claws, blood, death threat
------------
Whumpee felt the cool steel of a blade pressing into their throat, not quite enough to draw blood, but more than enough to keep their rigid back pinned to Whumper’s chest as the beast’s other arm snaked under their armpit, clawing into their chest with unbelievably sharp nails and barely restrained strength. Whumpee held their arms out shakily to the sides in a show of surrender, stock still so not to agitate the various sharps threatening their bite.
“Seems we’re at a crossroads, then, doesn’t it Leader?” Whumper drawled, eyes flashing. Scientist cowered behind Leader until only their eyes were visible, trembling, staring straight at Whumpee.
Leader crinkled their nose at Whumper, putting a hand out protectively to shield Scientist while the other leveled at Whumper, blue sparkles and lightning bolts dancing threateningly across their fingers.
“We aren’t here for Whumpee. We’re here for Scientist.” they said through clenched teeth.
All the air left Whumpee’s lungs. “W-wait, wait… Leader, you’re not… You…”
Whumper tilted the blade of the knife upward, and Whumpee’s chin was forced to follow suit. Whumpee felt Whumper’s own chin tilt up in regard to Leader, snarling, teeth bared.
“You would trade the life of one team member for the intellect of another?”
Whumper’s hold momentarily relaxed on Whumpee, but they were too busy fighting off the throbbing in their ears and sudden encroaching darkness at the edges of their vision to take advantage of it.
“Yes.”
The knife hit the ground with a deafening clatter. A quiet growl sounded from Whumper's throat, primal and all-consuming as it rumbled through Whumpee, straight through their bones and into the core of their being. Their claws bore into the soft flesh of Whumpee’s chest, and Whumpee cried out, arms flying up to clutch at the huge arm now squeezing their sternum so hard their ribs may as well just shatter.
“Leader! Leader please!” they screamed, broken out of the stupor that had previously enchanted them, tears mixing into the blood now streaming down their. “Don’t leave me here! I can’t–”
Whumper’s arm tore out and toppled Whumpee to the ground, somehow landing them on their hands and knees at Whumper’s feet. Whumper grabbed their jaw before they could even hope to recover and forced their gaze into their own.
“If you’re going to beg,” they growled, eyes filled with what could have been actual fire. “Do it right. On your knees. Get me my scientist.”
They shoved Whumpee’s face away and Whumpee swiveled around on their knees to face Leader. Leader just stared at them, eyes as steely as if they were still glaring at Whumper, save the slight wince when Whumpee let out a whine. The sparkling magic at their fingertips had turned a dangerous dark purple, still aimed right at Whumper above them. Why hadn’t Leader just left yet?
They strained to face Whumper again, which earned them a kick in the side that made them double over themself, a new wave of dizziness blanketing their consciousness.
“Beg.”
Whumpee forced their gaze back up to Leader, not even bothering to uncurl from their ball of misery.
“Leader,” they wheezed, shuddering. “Y-you can’t just–”
“You knew the risks when you came on this mission, Whumpee. This was always a possibility.”
“I didn’t know, I didn’t know…” Tears dripped off their chin and soaked the floor under them.
“Whumpee,” Leader commanded, as if their very name would convince them that this was the best and only way. They prompted: “The needs of the many…”
Whumpee knew this. Knew this by heart. “... outweigh the needs of the… the few,” they squeaked. Their arms burned. The cold floor bore into their knees. They wanted to go home.
They sobbed to the floor. “Please… Please do-on't leave me. Fight for me. Take me with you”
No answer.
Whumpee looked up. Their breath hitched. The door swung closed softly. They couldn’t tear their gaze away.
Whumper screamed and grabbed them by the scruff, and Whumpee howled out, hands flying up and around to the back of their neck to claw uselessly at the iron grip. Whumper just grabbed their wrists and slammed them face first into the nearest wall, arms pinned above their head while Whumper’s other hand still squeezed into the back of their neck, pulling at their windpipe slightly as Whumpee hunched their shoulders as high as possible to try to accommodate the amount of skin Whumper held within their grasp. Whumpee finally stopped screeching when Whumper pulled them back and slammed their face into the wall once more. They could swear they saw droplets of blood flying through the air as their eyes bulged and they gasped for breath.
“This is all your fault.” Whumper hissed into their ear. “Make this any more difficult for me and I’ll kill you where you stand.”
Whumpee nodded as much as they could. Whumper’s hand effectively braced their head from moving much more, squeezing on either side so hard they started to feel lightheaded.
Whumper let go of Whumpee’s wrists and slammed their head down into the ground. A flash of all colors and a metallic taste shooting silver strings through the top of their mouth, leading straight into the adrenaline fuelled black out filled with nothing but lightning bolts of agony shooting through their body. Their ribs screamed out in agony. And their stomach. And their legs. And everything. They tried to scramble back, but their back hit a wall. The basest of primal urges told them to claw out, to fight back, scratch into whatever was hurting them and don’t stop until it’s dead. But a louder voice screamed at them to just curl up into a ball and take it. Fighting back would only get them killed. Or maybe that was Whumper’s rage-fuelled yelling. Whatever. Whumpee stayed half curled in a catatonic stupor on the floor, and Whumper kept up the assault.
Eventually, the beating must have stopped. Whumpee was pulled to their feet by the back of their shirt. They stumbled and fell back to their knees in a daze as Whumper pushed them forward. Another growl. Intense pressure on the sides of their neck again, pulling them up, pushing them forward. Had their hands always been this red?
“You had better pray to whatever gods your kind believe in that you can fix your enormous botch up.” Whumper snarled in their ear, leading them further into their lair. There was only half a chance Whumpee even heard them.
“Or pray to those gods that you keel over before I’m done with you.”

I had a dream that was not so much whumpy as. Whump aftermath/backstory-y? Idk how much sense this makes but I'll put it here.
Basically there's this council of mages who have been having trouble with an ImmortalTM - a distinct, highly dangerous class of being. They have a list of known immortals but they don't know which one it is so they have a meeting where they go down the list and try to figure out who's the most likely suspect.
One of them is known as the sphinx, and was imprisoned by one of the mages a while ago after a long and whumpy struggle - being such creatures of magic, what an immortal can do to a mage is far beyond anything a regular human could survive. However, this is more of a conceptual prison. The sphinx can cause no harm currently, but what it apparently can do is promptly show up when it is discussed to scare the younger mages and re-traumatize its "plaything".
It's only a matter of time until it escapes its prison - whether it's tomorrow or next century. Immortals can wait, and mages, too, live long lives, especially when fatefully intertwined with an immortal. And when the time comes, it'll come straight for the mage who defeated it.
Tumblr media
He felt its presence before he could see it; it was as if the room suddenly darkened, just on a whole different plane than light.
He had long since gotten used to the sphinx; it haunted him far too often, whether it was memory or something more. It was harmless now, he reminded himself.
What surprised him more were the screams rippling through the rest of the court. Some stumbled towards the far wall or exit, or dove behind chairs; some raised their staffs or hands in defense.
"Oh. You're really here."
"Why did you doubt?" the sphinx purred, stepping out in front of him. Its frills nearly brushed the ceiling. "Have you been dreaming of me?"
"You have no access to my mind." His voice came out far too feeble; it sounded like he was trying to convince himself, and he wasn't surprised the sphinx latched on to it.
"How can you be so sure? We've been so intimate." It flopped down in the center of the room, rolled on its back while twisting to look into his face. The movement was the most cat-like thing about it, really. He wondered why they even called it the sphinx. Maybe now that they'd seen it, the others wondered too.
"After all, what could be more intimate than holding someone's beating heart in your hand?"

randomly saw ur blog pop up in the whump tags n i see u asking for ppl to give u motivation to write so i hand u a proposal:
everytime you [insert thing that happens frequently, ie, everytime u take a sip of water, everytime u see a twitter post screenshotted to tumblr, etc] you write ONE word on whatever u wanna write. if you wanna stop there, you CAN, if you wanna write more, you ALSO can.
also i saw u put out a gothic word prompt list and asked for ppl to send u prompts so. poison? now u got something to work slowly at, have fun :]
Thank you so much, Anon! :)
From this Gothic words list, featuring my oc Gathin.
Poison
CW: poison (obviously), monster whumper, transformation, horror imagery
The blazing fire leapt and danced, lulling Gathin into a doze. He twitched awake, senses tingling and heart pounding. He couldn’t let himself sleep. The monster might be watching him even now, waiting for a brief moment of vulnerability. That’s all it would take, a moment.
The prospect of defeat at the talons of such a creature set his heart on edge.
“Excuse me, sir? A drink?”
The robed and weary-eyed innkeeper shuffled closer, a steaming cup in his hand. Gathin took it, pushing away the warning thoughts in his head. The icy wind hadn’t yet dissipated from his bones.
“Thank you. It’s a terrible night. And I don’t particularly like the idea of entering it again.” The liquid flowed down his throat, warm and slightly sweet. Heat blossomed in his chest, a welcome imitation of the flames before him.
“Then don’t, sir. Stay. Plenty of room here.” The innkeeper gestured at a small flight of stairs. He gave a small, almost furtive smile.
“Thank you,” Gathin repeated, “but no, I must—I—” His thoughts had disconnected themselves. His senses had grown disconnected too—a glimpse of fire—the room, tilting—a heaviness inside, instead of heat. Wrong. Something was wrong—
“I—I can’t—can’t feel my body—”
The innkeeper’s smile widened, stretching further until it split his face in two. Numb, gasping for air and fighting the blackness encroaching on him, Gathin watched the man transformed, morphing into the very creature whose demise he had been sent to secure.
The monster shifted closer, its talons scoring deep marks in the floorboards. A foul miasma of breath washed over Gathin, stealing the last of his air. Dying…he was dying…and the sword hadn’t woken to save him…
So. The hunter has become the hunted. A different voice in his head. The monster’s voice, using human words.
Then the fathomless black ocean enveloped him completely.

FEBUWHUMP 2023 DAY 25 - Assumed dead
This is the epilogue to DAY 12 - "Can you hear me?". If you're interested, please read it first, otherwise this won't make sense 😳 Same CWs apply, but are only referenced.

"No sign of life. If Henshaw's down there, he is long gone."
General Milton closes the thin journal in his hands. It was not much to read, but more than he needed.
Bowing over the pitch-black opening of the cave system, the holds his breath for a short second.
"Sir?" the Private asks, "How are we proceeding?" The whole unit circled around the nature reserve, the main trails leading to the cave were now blocked for any outside party, to grant a smooth operation. Apart from the stationary campsite Henshaw had found shelter in, there was no sign of human interference inside the woods, but also no trails that could be traced back to wildlife. Just like he described.
Nevertheless, the cave was there, marked by the doctor's lost backpack and its scattered contents. Inside the unit found the aforementioned hole at the end, a lightless abyss opening beneath it. William Henshaw, described by everybody in his institute as an eccentric loner, was nowhere near insanity when he left the city on a short notice. At least that's what the General was told, the journal not entirely convincing him of this supposed truth.
A living forest, its central nervous system sprouting out from the exact point he and his team stand right now, sounds more like a bedtime story than anything else.
"Nothing?" he finally asks his subordinate, eyeing the sedimentary depositions suspiciously, "Not a single living creature on the IR? Let me see."
The Private makes way to reveal the screen, only blues and blacks are presented to General Milton, who becomes seemingly more frustrated by the second.
"Even if he went further down, only these crazy ramblings can give us evidence about his whereabouts," he continues. A pejorative expression drifts towards the journal left on the drop-leaf table, the last words of a missing man discarded like nothing.
A humming rises up from the depth and the world stops for a second.
"You hear that, Private?" he breathes, not entirely sure if it is just the sleep he's lacking.
"Sir?"
Piece by piece, the hairs at the back of his neck start to rise, like antennae receiving a signal from far away. A call to his innermost being, a magnetic pull to des-
General Milton catches himself, unsure where he is for a moment. He looks at the young Private to his left and back at the screen.
"Prepare the detonation process and evacuate, Private." No developed life in a nature reserve.
"Yes, Sir!" He answers inert, but still dismisses. Vanished hikers.
The General remains, sole in the cave, but not alone.
Whatever Henshaw saw down the hole, he wouldn't give it the chance to introduce itself any further. No mammals in sight.
The humming becomes more present now, pulsating against the walls enclosing the man, sounding almost desperate.
General Milton leaves too, stepping out of the cave's mouth and into the comfortable glow of the afternoon sun. It breaks through the treetops in a sprinkle of almost white, peppering the greenery in a peaceful glow.
 --------
Doctor William Henshaw's funeral was held by only his immediate family, the casket empty and buried underneath an old maple tree beside his late husband. Tucked away at the edge of the cemetery, General Robert Milton thanked him for his service and the countless lives he saved.
The humming still beckons him at night, when nobody is there to stop it.

could you maybe do a drabble based on your most recent whumpril post 🥺👉👈
I hope you like it!!!!
Cw: implied death by fire, mentions of blood
Walking through the dark woods, Whumpee shivered as they rubbed their bare arms trying to warm themselves.
Terrified, they repeated to themselves quietly "I'm NOT scared. I'm NOT scared!"
Passing through a particularly dark briar, they continued their mantra until something responded back "you should be."
Feeling the hot breath on their skin of an unexpected host, Whumpee stopped. As hot as the breath was on the back of their arm, Whumpee felt cold.
Whumpee turned to where they heard the voice slowly. They were met with glowing green eyes.
“What?” they squeaked.
The sound of tearing roots sent Whumpee stumbling away as something tore itself up out of the forest floor. As it drew closer, Whumpee saw the glowing green eyes were set in an antlered skull with lichen and bioluminescent toadstools draping to the floor.
“I said: you should be scared!” Growled the creature as claws reached out for Whumpee. Turning to run, Whumpee made it three steps before tripping over a root that they weren’t sure was there before.
Whumpee’s ankle was clawed deeply as they were picked up by it. Meeting again eye to eye, Whumpee fainted at the overwhelming sight of the monster before them.
Whumpee cracked their eyes open to see they were resting in a cage on the straw floor of a woven root lair. Herbs and vegetables were scattered about along with parts of animal carcasses seemingly saved for some further purpose.
Hearing the creature return, Whumpee shrunk into the corner of their tiny crate.
A large clawed hand, tearing into their shoulder, dragged them out. They felt the warm wetness that could only be blood. Unable to walk due to their ankle, they were tripping alongside the monster. They were led to a roaring fire and thrown to the ground. Quickly, their hands and feet were bound and they were slung over a sturdy branch.
“No no PLEASE don’t eat me! I don’t want to die!”
“Then you shouldn’t have been in the woods,” chuckled the creature, lifting the tearful person onto the rack over the fire.
“You will be delicious.”
And with that, a powder was thrown into the fire below causing it to explode upwards.

alright, here’s three words :D
Glass, Metal, Honey
Teehee :)
Contents: creepy whumper, intimate whumper, monster whumper, human whumpee, fantasy whump, threats of being eaten (don't know if there's a more concise way to out that), non con touching
...
Stupid stupid STUPID. Cane was stupid, thats all there was to it. He'd been lost for days in the middle of nowhere in the woods, so shut the first sign of civilization he saw was going to be shifty.
"You shouldn't have entered, little morsel. You're in my house, I can sense wherever you go."
He clutched his silver dagger like a life line. Vampires, werewolves, demons, fey- no, fey were iron. Ghosts if he somehow managed to catch the thing's reflection to trap it. Those were all what silver was good against, this thing was none of those.
It was dark- the middle of the night, clearly when the thing was most powerful, as it hadn't made itself known until the sunset, when Cane had already beet here for a few hours. But it was dark now, Cane couldn't see where he was or remember where he had been...
But the thing... it was fast, it was cunning and tricky and it was very good at making Cane very very scared. It had chased him out to some sort of art room, if Cane remembered right. It was made of shadows, slinking in and out of them to scare the boy as well. Two forms too, right as the darkness came Can had seen a man like figure atop the stairs, but once the sun was completely gone it turned into a great wolf like- with its laughter, HYENA like- moster.
It wanted to eat Cane... he wasn't sure if it meant literally though, he'd heard of some monsters that feed off of terror, or instead of flesh will eat souls.
But no, whatever it will eat... the shadow thing was clearly playing with its food. Cane couldn't tell if he should be glad or not. On one hand it was giving him time to think, to plan his escape... on the other, there was no way Cane stood a CHANCE once it decided it was more hungry than it was bored.
His breath caught as he bumped into something, making a noise. That was bad enough, but a second later something glass- probably some sculpture in this art room- screamed, crashing and shattering. Cane's high nerves caused him to yelp, and all at once Cane felt eyes on him.
Then a hand, pressing onto his stomach, pushing him backwards into... another body. Human feeling, like a large lean man.
Cane couldn't breathe, Cane couldn't BREATHE as he felt a chin rest on his shoulder, the shadow thing hugging him from behind. It hummed, that sort of hum like he'd just eaten a perfectly cooked steak.
"My, you're breathing really fast," the thing chuckled, nuzzling into Cane's neck. "You weren't trying yo get away from me, were you? Your fear is just... inTOXICATING, I must say..."
The thing moved its hand off of Cane's stomach and up to his chest, clawed fingers and palm over his rapidly beating heart.
"Oh yes... that's what I like to feel..." the thing smiled- it must be smiling. It sighed. "I'm going to keep you around a long while, little morsel. I can just TASTE how sweet you'll be..."
All at once Cane was filled with terror- of course he was already scared out of his mind wandering the manor in the dark running from some shadow thing, but this fear wasn't his- it was overwhelming, taking him over, making him freeze up, it had been put into him. It was too much and the hands on him... Cane passed out.
He was vaguely aware- he felt the shadow thing lift him from behind his knees into a bridal carry. "Delicious..."

Underground
Note: @whump-queen I did it lmao. I barely remember writing this, it’s very stream of consciousness, I will not tell you what inspired this, enjoy
Summary: A regretful, traumatized young man attempts to destroy the twisted experimental facility he works at. The resident mysterious monster has a better idea.
Warnings: vaguely spooky, dead kid mentioned, head trauma, blood mentioned, cute boy gets hurt
M stared intently at the industrial elevator doors, eyes locked down the dark hallway as they slid open. His jaw was clenched, his footsteps careful and planned. He knew exactly what he was here to do. His voice came in a whisper, repeating the plan to himself one more time.
“Overheat the generator. Turn off the failsafe so the whole facility goes up. Get back to the elevator before that…thing…can. It needs to end…tonight.”
He stopped short just where the elevator light was unable to reach, the dark fork in the hall that led to the rest of the facility. He’d been through it enough times, by now—he needed to head left, to the power room. His hands shook as he readied his flashlight, even as he tried to shake his anxieties away. He knew what he was doing, he’d be fine. Why was he so afraid?
M rubbed his jaw with his free hand and stepped further into the darkness.
M swallowed hard as he approached his goal, his breath hitching when his own light reached the door. There was a trail of blood, footsteps on the floor, with desperate handprints smeared all around the doorknob. He could smell it—this was fresh blood. The monster had been here recently. Had someone else tried to overheat the place? The creature had clearly stopped them, but—where was the body?
His hand was on the doorknob, now, his horror at the carnage pushing him forward. He had to do this, for whoever had failed before him. So nobody else would die in this terrible place.
A voice rang in his ears, high and young and directly in M’s ear.
“M? What are you doing? I wanna go home!”
The young man’s blood ran cold. No, that couldn’t be her, she was dead, his sister was dead. He couldn’t be hearing her voice, he couldn’t, not now—!
His head exploded in blinding pain, a horrid thud echoing in his skull before everything went black.

Random prompt #7 ━━━━━━♥♠♥━━━━━━ Whumpee shivered, trying to quiet their quivering breaths as they walked through the forest. Their arms wrapped tightly around themselves, mocking foreign comforting touch. They took a sharp turn, peering through trees to try and find anything and anywhere safe. Instead, their gaze met with a pair of glowing red eyes. Whumpee froze, breath catching in their throat. A booming chuckle sounded through out the air. "Run, little rabbit. Run." ━━━━━━♥♠♥━━━━━━
