I wanna know what happens to the stuff Danny has on that disappears when he transforms.

His clothes are a neat example to try and illustrate because Danny as much as he likes to wear the same wardrobe, has worn other stuff. So it’s not like he can only switch between his hazmat suit and his signature outfit. If he was to wear cosplay and go ghost then he would turn back human to being in that specific set of clothes. Only who knows, maybe they’re just underneath.

But what the fuck with the stuff?? We have multiple objects that seamlessly stay with him when he transforms.

but then we also have

things that disappear into the void?? but no not really. they reappear in later episodes (proof? don’t got it). So, i’m totally assuming Danny can reach into the stuff when he transforms back? summon it at will??? that would be so neat but more questions.

Like where are they stored? Do they somehow exist in the same expanse of space he does and it’s locked temporarily until Danny turns human again?? Does it fuse into his ghost half when he transforms? (fenton helmet from when Danny overshadows his own avatar)

Because okay how do you even begin to explain the ecto-skeleton f-logo transforming alongside him into a phantom one?? Is Danny capable of using his essence as an extension of his being to affect those same inanimate objects?

okay i wanna talk about female rage. cause i've been thinking about this for a little bit now. but like. female rage is not an emotion. it's a critical lens. like the "male gaze." The Gaze is not a function of the human eye, it is a way of understanding, and thinking critically, about art and media. that's what female rage is. it is the, by and large, fantastical manifestation of the anger women feel towards patriarchy. the blood they want to spill, the murder they want to commit, the violence they want to perpetrate, against this system of oppression. but, of course, you cannot *actually* make systems bleed. so female rage gives voice to that. gives representation. Gone Girl is an excellent example of this. Promising Young Woman, I would argue, is a slightly worse example of it. In that, it loses its nerve. She should be killing the men she lets take her home. i'm not sure why she doesn't. but it's in the genre. my point being, female rage is a thing, it is a concept that exists, it is a narrative tool that is played with, but it isn't something that you, an individual, experience as an *emotion.* tho it might be something you experience as a fantasy. i do think this term is misused by the internet (as most things are), but i also think it has value.

i really love the idea of hikaru using her little smoke-puff soldiers in everyday life, like to help her with trivial tasks or chores, or other menial activities. they have little hands to carry their sabers with, so surely they can use them to be helpful outside of battle.

hikaru can use them in a sort of 'assembly line' while washing the dishes to make the whole ordeal easier. or, she can clean her room and have them each tidy up different parts, so that it gets done much quicker.

she can even have them help her to woo yuna and stack on top of each other to offer her flowers (they get too overexcited around yuna and the soldier-tower falls in its buzz of excitement before yuna can take the flowers from them, to hikaru's embarrassment)

thinking about the lightning scene again and uh the choice to go back to eddie lowering buck down when bobby grabs ahold of buck is sooooooo. like why? why put in that one second shot of eddie taking the care to lower buck those last few inches even after the others have already abandoned the controls to buck's line? why take extra time to show us eddie prolonging his hold on buck's line before letting him go and relinquishing his care to the others out of reach? why then go back again to show us eddie begin his descent of the ladder? why take an extra few seconds way above the action to show us eddie turning around and scrambling down the ladder to get to the man he couldn't let go of? just why? why would they do that?
