Raindrop April

Just wanted to post a little in advance of April, last year @midnight-moth and I put this month together for our wet boys and I am planning on continuing it.

You may be asking, what is Raindrop April? Well dear reader, it is a celebration of our favorite wet boys during the wettest month of the year.

How can you contribute? Any art or writing you may want to contribute is appreciated. There are no prompts, so it is bringing whatever you want to the table. Last year we started an open collection on AO3 for the month and you can find it here. Check it out, there are some good ones in there.

If you want to participate, just use the tag here or on AO3 as Raindrop Month (please tag me too, cause I want to see all the goodness!!)

I am already thinking up some good things to include in the month!

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or if you may have specific asks for the month you'd like to see.

Teaches & Students Wanted ~ An August Back to School Prompt List

Time to sharpen those pencils and get those backpacks ready because I want you to build a school, staff and all! Fill your sims game with more teachers and students of all ages! ((Teacher friends, this one should be great fun for you!)) Use this as a CAS challenge or a photo challenge! Whatever speaks to you! Use the #PlumbobPrep to add to our community of school staff and use #samssims if you'd like a reblog! I'd love to see what you create!

Starts August 1st!

Build a School ~ The School is on a budget so some teachers share roles, but you can add an extra challenge to yourself and make a teacher for each individual subject if you prefer.

Teachers: - Principal - Art/Drama Teacher - Math/Science Teacher - English/Foreign Language Teacher - Gym Teacher - Teacher's Aid - School Nurse Bonus: Tell me the teacher drama. Which teachers are secretly dating or who hates their neighboring teacher next door?

Show off your sim through their school years!

Student Photos: - First Day of Kindy (Toddler) - First Day of Primary (Child) - First Day of Secondary (Teen) Bonus: Show us their last days and how it changed from the beginning of the year to the end.

Focusing more on the High School/Secondary Stages of school, show off which students would fill certain roles!

Student Positions: - Cheerleading Captain - Sports (of your choice) Captain - Chess Captain - Theater Kid - Prom Court - Valedictorian

BONUS: Put your sims up for public download and I may just use them in the school I am building for my NSB save! And so others can use them to build their own schools too!

Have fun with this! Populate your town with more sims or use one sim and dress them up in different roles. Feel free to add more roles that are not included! Represent Plumbob Prep however you like! However you are inspired, you are correct!

For the monthly theme of the Art Guard Server: Sequel time!! I haven’t read Force Multiplied, but from the little sneaks we’ve seen from filming, there are definitely boats involved in the sequel. I love boats, but mostly I love sailing.

So I propose to you the idea of a boat chase under sails after Nicky just pulled Joe out of the water! I want to see our favourite immortal husbands working as a badass team, Luca looks amazing on a sailboat and I have a mighty need to see Marwan wet and shirtless. (And, yes, it’s hard to see, but that’s Nicky’s hand on Joe’s ass, because casual proprietary touches, my beloved.) 😎⛵️

Ficmas is nearly upon us, friends!

If you're new, 31 Days of Ficmas is our annual December theme. It's based on the fanfic advent calendars from days of yore, when authors would write a fic a day based on a holiday or winter themed word.

As with most of our prompts, you are free to use them however you like. You can use the list for your NaNo project and write ahead, write a fic a day like the traditionalists, use words together for one big fic, use the words out of order... We simply provide the list and then sit back and enjoy the fic you create.

(There might be some weekly or even daily prompt posts based on the words coming in December. No promises, but I am currently feeling inspired.)
