I’m not crying... 😭❤️

Guyyysss over the weekend I got my own copy of the @ks-calendar-2021 ❤️❤️❤️

Guyssss I can’t really tell how happy and asdhfhfjiewkncbsjzbxnos I feel hahaha

I was talking on my previous post about facing one of my biggest fears and well... this was my biggest fear hahaha taking another step regarding my art and the things I can do with it. Honestly it wouldn’t have been possible without @moonlady9 ! She was like heck yeah! Let’s do it! We can do it!! She didn’t left space for doubting!!

Seeing prints of the calendar everywhere it’s so cool, honestly it’s not something I thought it would be possible hehehe I’m always scared and doubtful that I will fail and I’m so happy that the first time I decided to take the jump it was a success!!

I can’t thank enough @moonlady9 for all the awesome job she has done!! I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL WITH YOU!!! ❤️😭❤️

And yeah! Thank you to everyone that decided to buy a copy! You trusted in us and that’s so freakin awesome! I’m so happy with all the friends that supported us, cheered us and gave us strength to keep going!

Hi everyone!

I know its been a few months since I have touched any of my stories, and for anyone that follows along, knows that it was because of the calendar Pink and I did ( @ks-calendar-2021​ ) and it was such a joy to work with Pink and write those stories. I am so proud of what we accomplished. But now that it’s done, I am so happy to come back to my babies!

I know some of you have been eagerly waiting for the next chapter of Sex and Candy, Our Love’s Epistle, Land of Fire and Bones, Switched Operator, and It Started With a Gift. I am excited to get back to them and continue on.

I have a few tools that I am making available to anyone that is interested in my progress on stories, and that is my WIPS link. It shows what stories are rattling around in my brain, how far I am in my chaptered stories, and anything else that I want to share with you guys pertaining to my writing.

Hello! Unfortunately, I only started getting into KakaSaku last year so my rec list is pretty short, but I will list my personal top favorites! (I have included the AO3/Fanfiction.net hyperlink to the stories as well):

Tabula Rasa series by moodiful819 - this is a series of 4 interconnected one-shots that are to be read in the following order: "Tabula Rasa", "Twist of the Knife", "Baby Steps", "Square One", and then "Curtain Call". You will be a sobbing mess in the end. I have personally never recovered from the hole this series's ending left in my heart because it's so gutwrenchingly good.

Beads by lilyoftheshadow - a one-shot that's about predestined love

The Land of Fire and Bones by Moonlady9 - a fantasy WIP featuring a sexy silver dragon

The Chemicals Between Us by Cosmic__Moth - the best KakaSaku college AU I've ever read

Will of Fire by Cynchick - one of the older, classic KakaSaku fics on Fanfiction.net

House of Crows by SilverShine - another classic hit in the KakaSaku community! I highly recommend this work and this author. Silvershine writes some of the best KakaSaku fics out there, so make sure to check out her other works! I especially love Tender Loving Care, Hokage sama, and Duty Before Honor

A Ghost Story by Purple_Panic - a one-shot that has spooky sexy time

Stripped Bare by Purple_Panic - a really great porn-with-plot mission fic that I also highly recommend!

The Hypnotist by Cassieeeeanne - A sexy, dark KakaSaku fic that has all the right plot twists and kinks to keep you on your toes. If you like Dark Kakashi (or you want some well-written, unadulterated sexy smut) then I highly recommend checking out @cassieeeeanne's other fics!

Otherwise, there's also this master list of really great KakaSaku fics but I cannot find the post. It's somewhere on Tumblr and I saw it in the KakaSaku tag a few weeks ago - does anyone in the community have it?

2023 Year In Review

This year I wrote 276,380 words and posted 258,729 of that.

Busiest Month: July with 55k words written.

Completed a 80k long fic at the beginning of the year.

Almost completed a 125k fic over the summer. 

Wrote 8 One Shots.

Started 4 long fics. Completed 4 events.

Hosted the vacation event. 

I made some amazing, supportive friends this year who helped push me to that quarter-million word count. 

Thank you to @something-like-air for being my rock this year. Thank you for supporting me and keeping me sane (mostly). Thank you for beta’ing over 500,000 words to date. I’m deeply grateful for everything you’ve done for me. You’ve saved me from myself more than you know. You deserve every good thing that has happened to you this year and then some. I hope you stay blessed, that the road rises to meet you, the wind remains at your back, and the sun shines warm upon your face. 

Thank you @lightweaving for becoming my friend this year. I appreciate the laughs we’ve shared, and the time we’ve spent writing together. Thank you for co-modding the Vacation Event with me. Thank you for pushing me to be a better writer with our silly games and competitions. Our shared insanity kept me going even when the Depression (™) tried to take over. I’m grateful that we’ve become friends. 

Thank you @komorebirabbit and @renaerys for slapping me upside the head when I needed it, and for listening to my silly little idea rants. Thank you for tolerating the jokes, sarcasm, and competitive spirit. Thank you for pushing me to write even when time got thin and my patience ran low. @bunnbreaker You are always ready to go balls to the wall for your people, and that is a trait I strongly admire. I hope that never changes for you. And I’m so thankful that I met you this year. You’re a strong person and have fought whatever life has thrown at you with grace. Don’t be afraid of that. It’s amazing to watch!

@xylazine thank you for all of the good times this year and for the round-robin fic. Thank you for all of your support and cheerleading throughout the year, even when writer’s block had a chokehold on you. It takes a big person to be able to move past their own struggles and help someone else. You’re the real MVP of the comment section and that’s huge in and of itself. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, appreciates how hard you work to read and comment on everyone’s fic. So thank you! 

@moonlady9 we’ve been through a lot of ups and downs together. This year was one of our hardest. You were one of the first people in this fandom to believe in me. The Ole Cannabis Shop: Sakura needed a break

Foreword by Sukea: The sun had long been set when Sakura finally made her way out of the hospital.

Happy New Year, Dr. Haruno (Chapter 7): Sakura strutted back and forth across the stage, belting out the lyrics of their first hit with an entire stadium singing them back to her. 

Under the Mistletoe (chapter 3): Sakura’s coat was wrapped tightly around her, a poor barrier against the howling winds as she walked up to his door.

Butt You See is Butt You Get: It had been a long day, and Iruka was mere steps from the exit when he heard his overactive cameraman call out, “Stop!” 

A Tale of Two Stoners: It was the best of times;  it was the worst of times….Okay, maybe Sakura was being dramatic as the early morning sun streamed through the gap in the curtains, pulling her from sleep, but in the months since she and Kakashi had made their relationship official, it had been a bit of both.

Jingle Her Bells (chapter 1): The walk from the hospital to the Hokage manor was usually a short one. Today was anything but usual. Snow had begun to fall shortly after Sakura’s shift started, and it hadn’t stopped. 

The Princess Tsunade: There was an old saying that doctors make the worst patients, and Sakura was proving that in spades.

This and That, but Make it Smutty: Sasuke seethed silently at his cousin across the counter. Shisui grinned back, clearly fighting hard not to laugh

Self Care: It was just starting to rain in earnest when Kisame and Itachi dashed into the corner drug store.
