You keep saying in the comments of Maxwell's World that the ending conditions make sense if you pay attention? But fuck you you asshole none of this makes sense. Why am I going to random out of hte way locations somehow saving my followers?

Sit on down kiddo, cause you’ve fallen into the classic trap of “not paying any attention”, like so many of the people who played the mod.

Normally I’d talk about the actual themes that were considered when writing the mod (namely temptation, manipulation, and partial truths). But I’ll just sum things up in a simple way, since the most basic point of the mod always seems to go over your head:

Maxwell controls everything. Every bossfight, quest down to the quest marker,  every interaction, is all accounted for and expected. 

You whine that you fail for doing exactly what you’re told to do, which is the point! You don’t succeed in Maxwell’s World by following the objectives because that’s what Maxwell wants you to do and thinks you want, you have to go off the rails and do things that Maxwell doesn’t expect. You have to recover pieces of the past that you aren’t blindly told about, piece together what actually happened. 

Be happy it’s a simple matter of fulfilling three conditions anyway, in the earliest versions of the script the player had to actually correctly answer the reason as to why the park is haunted.

oh before i forget, i do want to talk about my theory about the necro spec

i think people were saying it’ll be elixirs for ranged attack which i LOVE the idea of (even if, again, im not gonna be using it LOL) and i was thinking that maybe there are going to be several types of elixirs, right, like some that do conditions, some that heal, some that buff, like the wells for reaper. im wondering if we’ll lose shroud like we did with scourge and instead have the ability to take shit and make it into new shit to get thrown at people. you know how thief has that skill to steal something and use it against an enemy as basically a custom skill—maybe something like that

or maybe we’ll retain shroud and our skills will change! like druid when you go into moonmode or whatever lol some of your skills will have different effects while in that mode. i think that could be a possibility too because necromancers already had wells, we already do conditions in pretty much every build, and i bet the devs have been aware of that and are trying to do something Different (like with virtuoso); overall i’m hoping the next spec has something new and unique for necros and not too overpowering because good god if this is releasing in february then i dont want to be nerfed in march

This was not Earth anymore, but the Moon, the one place the AkashicMeteor tried to conquer. But because of some sense of responsibility or some misunderstanding between, a battle had been fought over it. Once the battle was over, the survivor was welcomed into the Moon, the center of the digital world, the Holy Grail that watched over the planet since time immemorial.

She, the survivor, was the Sovereign, allowed to reign over the Servants of the Moon and lead them to battle against whatever menaces might threaten this digital world. And today was a day to meet a new general.

As the girl, dressed in the white dress of sovereign, came to the sea where she could find the Servant, she faced a fragment of the past. Jet black hair accompanied by a crimson cape, with a japanese katana resting on the hip of her military uniform. There couldn't be any confusion, as the one in front of Ayako was the same as the Servant of her former enemy.
